DODRatings Summary24/7 249 249So nice! A lot of concealers that I've found have looked "powdery" when they were applied and seemed to make my blemishes more obvious instead of hiding them. I've been looking at this concealer for a while, and I'm so happy that I finally tried it. I was a little wary of it because it was a pencil, and I was trying to get away from powdery formulas, but this is so smooth! Also, I struggle to match colors because I'm pretty fair skinned, but CIA matches perfectly and covers all of my blemishes. I even recommended this to my mom, who doesn't like to change her face make up, but even she admits that this is an amazing concealer and got herself one too. February 21, 2012New HG Concealer I picked this up on a whim after I'd purchased the Naked foundation because I wasn't happy with the way my previously concealer blended with it and loved the foundation way too much to give it up. I'm so glad I did. I just draw on where I want extra coverage and buff it with the UD Good Karma foundation brush and I look flawless. I mainly use it for under eye circles and covering blue veins (my skin is very translucent) but it's also great for my occasional blemishes. CIA is the perfect colour for my super fair skin. I then use my Naked 0.5 foundation, Razor Sharp powder, and set with All Nighter. Perfect, airbrushed look that stays all day! December 3, 2012Depends on your needs I think ultimately whether or not you love this depends on what your concealing needs are. I was looking for something mainly for my dark circles, and found this formula to be too much on the dry side. I had to tug somewhat at my skin during application and the "matte" effect accentuated my fine lines. The limited shades also makes it difficult to find a good shade match. I will say that I absolutely love that it's in the form of a pencil. So convenient! So I think if you have a few minor blemishes here and there, or if you have oily skin , then this could be the perfect concealer. July 29, 2011The Holy Grail of All Concealers This was my first Urban Decay product, and I am genuinely impressed. I had tried every type of concealer out there, but this product remains the best by far. A perfect color selection accompanies a very creamy consistency, which I love to have in a concealer. Another quality I like is the duration of the product, and it's pencil shape, making it easy to apply in an early morning rush! Of course, there's COVERAGE. Believe it or not, I had doubted this product at first, and only when a friend recommended it to me did I try it. Completely camouflaged those nasty dark circles and did not crease at all throughout the day! Absolute perfection, UD! March 6, 2013Smooth, buildable concealer This long-wearing concealer was introduced to me by a friend who is a concealer junkie - you name it, she's tried it. This is one of her favorites and definitely one of mine, too. I love that it's in a pencil - so easy to use and very portable. It glides on smoothly and blends easily. I especially like to use it around the eyes and brows for defining and brightening, but it's also great to use under the lower lip (along the chin) to decrease the natural shadow there and brighten. While it is long-wearing, I do sometimes re-apply on a blemish towards the end of the work day if I'm going out afterwards. February 29, 2012Good concealer, just doesn't match my skin So Urban Decay just rolled out 4 new darker shades in the 24/7 concealer pencils. I purchased one in MI6, the darkest of the new pencils. While the formula is very creamy, bendable and provides great coverage, it was still way too light. UD advertises MI6 as the "deepest brown for the darkest complexions". Sorry UD, but you're not even close. And this is very disappointing. MI6 is actually a medium-dark tan, not brown at all and not for deep complexions. It's so light I can only use this as an under eye concealer. It's way too light to use to cover acne scars/blemishes on my face. It's really a shame, because the formula is great. UD, please add some darker shades to this line. Unless you make a color that matches my skin, I'll stick to your eyeshadows. I recommend this for lighter skin tones, but darker skin tones will need to look elsewhere. January 16, 2012Great for little blemishes I love anything in a pencil/crayon form so this was right up my alley. I find this formula to be very cakey so it did well on my oily skin but my skin is super weird and everywhere is oily except for around my mouth. I have very dry spots around there and using this concealer pencil there just make it flakey and very unattractive. I find this concealer to be great for small blemishes around the face because it's easily blendable especially when you have oily skin and it's great if you're the type to define your eyebrow shape using concealer, it does it great and precisely. But, the concealer on dry skin and under the eyes is not worth it. March 6, 2013C.I.A! I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I am pasty pale and nothing ever comes close to looking natural on me. But C.I.A. actually is my skin tone, so I have no icky looking orange spots on my face. It covers all my dark under eye circles, acne marks and any other blemishes I have. My best friend is the same skin tone as me and was hooked when she tried mine. Urban Decay for the win (AGAIN)!!!! May 11, 2012Ask & Answer(2 Questions : 3 Answers)Ask & Answer
