More storage options!!
I was so excited about these new build your own palettes that I ordered them both the first day they were released. The included color is an added bonus and is very pretty as a highlight or worn alone. I'm so glad UD decided to come out with more options as I had already purchased two of the other BYOPs (the ones with the six slots and brush). Now I am finally able to store all of my UD singles (both new and vintage)!
Ultimately, if you want to have more travel friendly options and better storage for your UD singles, you should definitely pick up these BYOPs!!

Gorgeous Color!
I fell in love with this case so much I bought it without even reading the reviews. Good thing I didn't! There are a lot of bad reviews about the color, but personally, I LOVE it! It's a pretty shimmery peach color that looks good on my skin tone and all of my friend's as well! I use this almost every day. It isn't quite as pigmented as I would like, but it is still amazing. I wish it was easier to put my vintage colors in the case, but that isn't a problem with the case, only the vintage containers. Once you pop the eyeshadow from the container, it fits perfectly inside of the case. Overall, this is a really amazing product. :)

Great palette, questionable eyeshadow quality
The palette is great; I love the design on the cover and it’s the perfect size, but the eyeshadow leaves a lot to be desired. I really like the color in the pan, but there is very little pigmentation so it’s virtually invisible on my fair skin. Additionally, the texture is quite gritty, so much so that I originally thought the shadow had glitter in it. Rest assured, it is a sheer shimmer shadow without glitter, but the consistency is not up to par with Urban Decay’s usual creamy texture. I will be keeping this because I love the palette, but I wish the shadow would have been better.

nice palette, so-so color
I really, REALLY love the actual palette and the image on the front. It's sturdy and small enough to be very travel friendly. The included shadow is the same high quality I've come to expect from Urban Decay - smooth texture, decent color payoff. Unfortunately, the color isn't flattering on me but I'm keeping it because I love the palette design.
My only criticism of this product is that in order to get any of the palettes we're forced to buy a pre-chosen color with it, which is an even bigger inconvenience if you're not crazy about the color.
I'd be willing to pay more for a palette with a good quality travel brush and the option to choose your own shadow. (In fact, I'd be stocking up on these palettes if I could choose my own instead of getting multiple pans of the same shadows!)
Bottom line: the palette itself is lovely, and if you actually like the color, it's an even better deal.
Urban Decay, I hope you'll eventually add a "choose-your-own-shadow" option, in addition to the current "exclusive color" palettes! :)

really do like it
I love the idea of these palettes. its great that you can carry alone your favorite colors or the ones you will be using with a certain look. I love the color it comes with even though its consistency doesn't feel like their other eye shadows it feels a bit to powdery to me, but the color is very pretty. the design and art of the palette really is beautiful I just love it. beautiful art once again my fave out of all the build your own 4 pan palettes.

I personally haven't tried the eye shadow, but the case is gorgeous! Great size. The best part is that the older design eye shadows (black rims) fit in this case as well! It's so beautiful, definitely worth the money.

I actually don't have this one, I have it in breathless, but they do not have this on here. I am also waiting for the moonflower one to come in the mail. This is ridiculously expensive. So much so that I almost think that it isn't worth it. However, I really do believe that it is worthless because I have a few palettes that I just used every single day and loved....then they run out....and guess what? The palettes that I have loved and used every day for a few years are gone.... so what do I do? Buy a WHOLE BUNCH of shadows I don't need to try to replace the palettes I can't get anymore. With this, I can have all permanent shades,and when I run out, I can replace each color with the same color. I can keep my favorite palette FOREVER.

Great palette!
I love almost everything UD but was a little hesitant about buying this palette because it seems really bulky to me being that it only holds 4 shadows (compared to MAC build your own palettes that I already own but rarely use). Anyway, I finally bought it and i have to say that I am in love with it and the color that it comes with! It's very easy to pop the shadows in and out,but I can see how some people can be careless and the shadows end up flying across the room and break. You have to squeeze both sides of the shadow pan and gently wiggle it out. The case is fun and very pretty and the large mirror is great. The color Melt is a wonderful highlight color! I already had Stray Dog which goes perfectly with Melt and I can't wait to add 2 more color to the palette! And I think $18 is very reasonable since a shadow does come with it.
