ECOMMERCE POSITIONS

JOB TITLE:

Ecommerce Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

The eCommerce Manager is responsible for achieving sales, inventory productivity (turn) and revenue objectives for urbandecay.com, working in conjunction with the Sales, Inventory Planning, Customer Service and the eCommerce / digital marketing team. This responsibility includes assisting in the development and execution of revenue plans, assortment plans, allocation strategies and inventory management. This is a cross-functional position and the Planner is responsible for indirectly influencing activities of inventory planners and allocators across all merchandise categories.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides analysis and research to support the creation of assortment plans for urbandecay.com. Supplies pertinent forecasting feedback to e-commerce and planning teams to ensures proper allocations in support ecommerce allocation strategies.
  • Monitors and analyzes site analytics to maintain ideal assortment mix.
  • Evaluates inventory productivity and recommends adjustments based on business trends.
  • Analyzes and recommends merchandise strategy (to maximize sales and profitability). Leverages store selling data to identify online sales opportunities.
  • Manage the merchandising calendar (via Basecamp) and assist as project manager between departments for product/program launches.
  • Act as project coordinator for new third-party partnerships and other eCommerce initaitves (i.e. UD Pro); including deadlines, communications and overall program success.
  • Report eCommerce metrics, data and quantitative measures representing business growth and direction.
  • Assist in securing correct inventory allocations for launches & ongoing sales
  • Assist in web marketing calendar in regards to design, routing...etc.
  • Manage site to ensure merchandise assortment strategy is effectively presented to the customer across all product categories.
  • Review site performance and direct the activities of team members to make appropriate adjustments to meet customer demand.
  • Daily management of marketing and forecasting calendars for Urban Decay and L’Oreal
  • Liaison in PFS-UD relationship: Communicate with PFS team upcoming UD.com promotions, product launches, promotions set up, cross-sell merchandising, site updates and PFS customer service team with consumer affairs concerns, general CS inquiries via social media, and promotional concerns.
  • Manage Day to Day Inventory Management, Forecasting and Product Allocation with internal operations team for General UD.com business, High volume sales periods (ex: F&F) and New product launches.
  • Work directly with creative team for content creation including following members: Help to develop promotional strategies for high-volume shopping periods (ex: black Friday, F&F, etc.).
  • Manage sampling strategy to determine what SKUs are most effectively to be utilized as free sample SKU, locked offers and future sampling programs based on anticipated brand strategy and key product focuses.
  • Build UD.com sku forecast for PFS inventory.
  • Key understanding of current sku selling as well as historical sales along with category penetration.
  • Complete knowledge of all newness launches and result goals for the launch, by sku, by color as well as budget goals for each month.
  • Communication to PFS and L'Oreal inventory team for all newness launches, sample pushes, etc.
  • Pass finished forecast by 22nd of each month to key stakeholder for upload to PFS.
  • Watching inventory levels at PFS weekly, monthly to ensure efficient inventory management by L'Oreal team.

JOB TITLE:

Manager – Digital

POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for the development of the Urban Decay CRM roadmap strategy and execution for both D2C and FSS programs, with a focus on retention, loyalty and email marketing strategy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pursue and implement innovative new CRM solutions for UD (Social CRM, Loyalty, Email Vendor, possibly DM).
  • Owns final customer strategy; controls and approves budget, asset deployment, creative development and briefings of emails, name collection and on-site personalization strategy.
  • Lead FSS data integration plan, communication and strategy in conjunction with Global Marketing.
  • Develop and launch customer-centric programs.
  • Develops and briefs annual customer strategy across channels including EM, mobile, site personalization and customer service.
  • Develops and evolves CRM value proposition for sites and FSS.
  • Participates and collaborates to maintain good communication with D2C and DMI’s to share, learn and align on plans and prioritize to maximize business impact, KPI improvement and ROI.
  • Partners with D2C and IT team on executing new pilot initiatives and capabilities.
  • Aligns with Director and AVP on CRM KPI goals and is responsible for meeting those KPT objectives.
  • Manages budget for all eComm and FSS customer programs.
  • Manage POS system and FSS customer preference management and multi-channel strategy.
  • Partners with Director on promotional strategy to ensure healthy and balanced promotional plan for customer base.
  • Manages house file, reporting on growth/attrition on a monthly basis.
  • Participates in regular and annual team planning, providing input and strategic guidance to CRM strategies and prioritization of these programs to drive maximum ROI.
  • Shares CRM best practices and competencies across the organization as needed.
  • Develop and evolve customer segmentation strategy and methodology.
  • Generates sophisticated understanding of the UD consumer and product preference insights.
  • Leverages customer data with eCommerce KPI’s to build customer-centric website strategies and capabilities.
  • Creates personas by segment for the digital team and the larger organization as needed.
  • Sets KPI’s and responsible for collaborating with Digital team to meet these targets. Issues monthly KPI reports.
  • Coordinates and helps execute strategic guidelines and business rules for CRM database of record.
  • Help guide on sampling and GWP promotional strategy and operational planning.
