when i'm feeling a little outrageous... When feeling a little crazy... I combine Graffiti with Peace or with Sting, half half (inner lid/outer lid) on the eyes, lining the bottom lashes to match the color above. Then I touch over the virtical dividing line with a completely different third color! (generally a light green, light pink or light blue) and it brings both drastic colours to meet beautifully in the middle. Yes it's crazy but it works!! Needless to say, it is stunning and I get compliments on the combination everytime without fail. These colors don't smudge or leave that annoying dust residue that some other vibrant branded eye shadows do. Love it! March 5, 2012
Rich, velvety color that lasts I have the Deluxe eyeshadows in Ruthless (a sandy taupe) and Heat (a fiery red, which I think is discontinued), in addition to the Deluxe palette (not swatched). Although UD's regular formula shadows are superb, they used a different formula with these Deluxe shadows, hence a different product. The texture of the deluxe shades is rich and shimmery and they feel dense and buttery when you're using them. I feel like UD could sell only this formula of eyeshadow and making a killing; they're that nice. I highly recommend Ruthless as an everyday light neutral, whereas Heat makes green eyes pop for the occasional fierce look. I did blend these out slightly in the photo. That's about as dark as Ruthless gets but Heat can be much, much darker when applied more heavily or wet. The packaging! Oh, the packaging. Each shade has a different fun illustration, and the pots themselves are big and have rounded lids. That makes them a pain to store in some cases but these shadows do not want to be stored away - they want to be on your vanity and admired! I adore the Deluxe shadows. Highly recommended. The bold super eyeshadow! Every one of these's shades provides a vibrant, bold, silky finish. They look absolutely gorgeous on the eye. They blend very well, are long-lasting, so they don't fade, and are highly-pigmented. My favorites would definitely have to be Freakshow, Adore, and Honey. Plus for a dollar more, you're getting 2.5 grams versus 1.5 grams from the regular sized UD eyeshadow. Another awesome thing about these shadows are the packaging. They all have their own artistic image on the cover of the compact, very nicely done. So if you're wanting to achieve that rich, bold, brilliant color, these shadows are definitely for you! Amazing eyeshadow! I have a confession to make - I'm a neutral lover and anything brown, tan, taupe, cream, soft pink or beige steals my heart. With that being said I can't even begin to tell you how drawn to these eyeshadows I was, particularly the shade Graffiti. I purchased it and have loved it with all of my heart since. It's an intense bright green shade that is more pigmented than you could ever even begin to imagine. It's smooth and silky, long-wearing and down right gorgeous. I think this eyeshadow is the one of the most amazing beauty products I have ever tried, and I can't wait to get my hands on more shades. July 28, 2011
Deluxe Eyeshadow I've had so many of these eyeshadows (Graffiti, Honey, Heat, Frigid, Ruthless, Shag and the deluxe palette) because the value is great. It's just a dollar more than the vintage eyeshadow, with almost twice the amount of product. On top of that, the formula is really smooth and buttery, and they blend together really well. The pigmentation and coverage are excellent. The eyeshadow itself is just amazing! The only downside is the packaging, The clear part of the lid that covers the artwork has a tendency to break off. It's a nuisance. The only other qualm that I have with this product is that most of the colors are being dicontinued. =( At some point UD, please bring back Honey and Ruthless as part of your permanent line. Thank you! April 20, 2012
The Best Eyeshadows Ever!! I have eleven of these deluxe eyeshadows and they are honestly the best eyeshadows I've ever used. So much better in pigmentation, wear, and ease of use than the other popular brands that start with M and N. Freakshow is was my first Urban Decay eyeshadow and I had never seen a more beautiful color that compliments my skin tone so well. It is dramatic, but that's how I like my eyes. You only need one swipe of the brush to do a killer smokey eye - just deliciously gorgeous!! BUY THEM!! August 9, 2012
Graffiti I have UD's deluxe eyeshadow in Graffiti and I absolutely love it. It has amazing color pay off and this shade of green is to die for. If you have brown eyes it really makes them pop, especially if you pair it with the 24/7 eyeliner in Covet. The only problem I had with the eyeshadow is that the lid popped off, but other than that I have had no problems. These are a great line of shadows to get if you're looking for eyeshadow that goes on opaque! August 2, 2011
A M A Z I N G I love pretty much everything about this eyeshadow. I have it in Fishnet, Freakshow, Scratch, and Peace. All colors are very well pigmented and go on smooth. I love that they come with little mirrors, so I can just throw it in my bag and go for touch ups throughout the day. It's so cute that each shadow has a different design on the front. One of my few problems with it is that the little plastic covering pops off sometimes, but it's pretty easy to put back on. It would also be nice if there were more colors, but I'm pretty happy with the selection they have now. August 1, 2011
