Product description

The ultimate accoutrement for our Naked Basics palettes, this versatile brush is really two brushes in one! On one side: a shadow smudger brush. On the other: a shadow blender brush. Apply shadow all over. Blend, smudge and line. This indispensable brush does it all. The ultimate accoutrement for our Naked Basics palettes, this versatile brush is really two brushes in one! On one side: a shadow smudger brush. On the other: a shadow blender brush. Apply shadow all over. Blend, smudge and line. This indispensable brush does it all.

The brush hair is made with a super-soft synthetic material derived from recycled PBT plastic bottles, so it’s cruelty-free AND vegan! Another plus: Synthetic brush hair doesn’t hold on to gross bacteria the way porous animal hair can, so it’s easier to clean and more hygienic. And the white-tipped bristles make it easy to see how much color you’re picking up. (No more accidentally putting too much product on and having to remove it.)

Pro Tips

Use the shadow smudger along the lash line to rim eyes with a soft, smoky line. The versatile shadow blender works great for any eyeshadow application. Use it to apply a wash of base color from the lash line to the brow bone or to pat and blend color on the lid. You can also use the soft edge as a blender.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Love This is a great brush. The bristles are soft but yet you still can get a clean line of you need to. I would definitely recommend September 22, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by I've seen better When I first tried this brush I was in love and it was my favorite thing ever. It really was. Compared to any drug store brush I had tried this was the bees knees. However, on a splurge I bought a sigma e45 and I just can't love this like I used to. Whenever I've tried going back to this brush i really struggle with blending the eyeshadow all the way. It seems to do a choppy job comparatively speaking. The blending part may be lacking but the applying eyeshadow part still seems decent. This is a good brush but I think overall I've seem a lot better at cheaper prices. February 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Three-in-One I like to think of this double-sided brush as a three-in-one brush. The small end can be used to apply eyeshadow across your whole eyelid, or just one section. The edges of the brush can be used to apply a dark shade within your crease or as a top liner using eyeshadow. The big end can be used to apply a light shade to the area underneath your eyebrows or to blend in your eyeshadow on your lid. The possibilities are essentially endless with this brush - well worth it! August 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really nice brush! I purchased this brush on sale, and after using it i liked it so much I ordered one for a friend. Very nice quality. I like the smudger side, I own a few inexpensive smudge brushes that work well, but now I keep reaching for this one. Gets the lower lash line really smokey, which I like. The other side I really enjoy for shading/blending the base color just up to the crease. I usually don't buy dual ended brushes, but I'm loving this one. Great deal! September 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent brush This was one of my very first UD purchases and I'm so glad I took the plunge. I've been using it with my Gwen Stefani palette and it's just been, for lack of a better term, a joy. Picks up the eyeshadow easily and transfers to the lid darn near seamlessly. Have yet to experience any bristles/hair falling out post cleaning. Easy to use, easy to clean, and great quality. I'd be lost without this brush. August 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The brush that made me a convert I got a similar brush in the Naked 2 palette and had never used anything like it before, then ordered this one! I threw out all of my other brushes or pushed them to the back of a closet, and ordered replacements from UD. Why do I like it? The bristles are so soft you can hardly feel them brushing your skin, not hard or plasticky like many other brands. They pick up pigment like nobody's business and the brush feels balanced in your hand. The texture of the grip is not slippery, but feels secure and balanced in your fingers as you apply. The shape of the brush is just right for applying shadow; not too fat, not too thin. The double ended feature lets you flip it around fast and save precious seconds in the morning. * I had accidentally posted this review for the Shadow Brush. Hopefully the corrected version will appear for that brush, because I meant to put this one here. September 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to clean, easy to use! These brushes are so soft and so easy to clean! They spread eyeshadows so well and evenly, without getting gross from using multiple shades! They still hold the shadows super well through application, but a few brush strokes, and you're ready for a new shade, without having to worry about getting the last one in the wrong spot, or it mixing two shades when you apply a new color! Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this brush! I needed some new brushes anyway, since I had purchased Naked On The Run, and I am so glad that I took a chance & ordered this great UD brush. It's a great value since it is a dual ended brush as well as a great quality brush. It really picks up the color well, blends it well, tissues off well when laying new colors, and cleans easily. It's a sturdy brush and well worth the money. September 9, 2015
