XRatings SummaryEyeshadows 551 551Amazing! I didn't believe that Urban Decay could improve their formula, but they've done it! I bought several of my go-to shades for comparison. The colors aren't *exactly* the same, but they were close enough to fool my husband in a swatch lineup. Baked and Half-Baked seem a little less orange than the orignals, Mushroom seems less taupe-y and more charcoal, Toasted seems less warm, and Sin seems lighter/more of a true champagne. The one shadow that really seemed to improve in color payoff with the new formula was Bordello. It is stunning. And despite the tiny differences in color, all of the new shadows are absolutely beautiful! They felt so velvety that I had to put them on on the spot! They also seem to somehow "stick" to the primer better. There was absolutely no fall-out! I will definitely be building up my collection of these. April 2, 2012I am in love Palette: Great! So quick and easy to switch shadows! & i love the fact that you can remove them from the palette and put them back into there orginal single packaging! Love the idea! Eye Shadow: I guess a little smoother than previously. Still rich in color and great texture. Shopping for colors: Its hard to decide on colors while shopping online. But the pictures online seem to be pretty good so far and when you get them in the mail they do look like the picture. Basically I am not disappointed. Overall, not only are the shadows great but the palette is awesome! Makes my life so much easier! & I love that a brush comes with the palette. April 2, 2012Best eyeshadows ever I love the new formula, especially rockstar. I always looked for a real warm, plummy violet rather than the bluish-purple hues that UD seems to love making. And I've finally found it!! Rockstar is the shade of violet that I have searched EVERYWHERE for, and finally it's available as a single shade instead of in a palette. Yay! ANyway, Rockstar compliments brown eyes beautifully and you can build up how dark you want it to be, or mix it w/ Sin to turn it into a gorgeous light lavender color. For that effect, you can also just use Sin primer and LIGHTLY dab Rockstar on top of it. I have the old version of Sin and I'm dying to try the new formula, too! April 23, 2012A staple As broke as I usually am, I can't afford Urban Decay as often as I would like. They do however, have a few shadows that are an absolute staple for me. The first is Sin. I got this color in the "Ammo" package right when I started college and I fell in love with it. I typically use it as a high lighter or to line my lower lids. This is the most used color in my pallet and as soon as it is gone I will absolutely be buying another. The second color is Maui Wowie. I have very fair skin so I try and avoid dark colors. This light gold looks beautiful with my skin and red hair. I do wish that Urban Decay was a bit cheaper, but I did take full advantage of the current sale going on. October 12, 2012Amazing eyeshadows! I mostly buy the UD palettes because their single shadows are a bit expensive, but I saw a single one that I knew I had to have. The color is Fishnet. It's a beautiful pink/purple with a slight blue sheen. I swatched it in store and was amazed at how vibrant and buttery the shadow felt on my hand. There were many other colors that stood out to me but I knew I had to get this one. Once I got home I used a look with Fishnet and Flash and the colors looked so pretty together. I don't normally use brightly colored shadows because I'm in love with my Naked palettes and use them everyday, but this color I'll definitely be using a lot. UD never fails to amaze me. August 16, 2012Best. Shadows. Ever. UD always impresses me with their wide selection of amazing colors! Half baked is my absolute go-to shade. Its a great color if you're running late and what a quick dash of making. i just swipe this with a little black eye liner , and mascara and I'm out the door. it will look like you actually put some time into your look! Another favorite shade is Midnight cowboy. The light shimmery mauvey/pink is beautiful and the silver specks in it really make the shadow different. But be carefully of that glitter, there's a lot of fall out from it. It usually gets all over my face so I wipe it with a makeup remover cloth then put the rest of my face on. March 5, 2013Great new colors! Recently purchased the new colors easy baked, desperation, and laced. I love the new shadow formulation as most glide on smooth w/ little fallout ( unless they have chunky glitter, even with a shadow primer). Pigmentation is great, so a little goes a long way. Wasn' t sure I would like laced, but it lived up the hype I had been reading about online. This is a very nice, matte, pinky taupe...a great everyday shade. Desperation has great dimension, matte-satin finish and it has alot of versatility. I found it to be very compatible with several colors I already own. Easy baked is a nice lighter bronze shimmer. all shadows easy to use and long-wearing. March 31, 2013Urban Decay eye shadows Just when I thought Urban Decay had the best eye shadows ever, surprise, they made them even better. These new formulation eye shadows are hands down the best I have ever used! They are amazing. The texture is divine, they apply wonderfully and last so great even when I don't use a primer. I have really oily skin, so this in itself is a dream. The color selection is wonderful, and the finishes are great. They are highly pigmented, they are blendable, buildable, and are very easy to work with. I have so many, I can't even count them. I also love how unique so many of the colors are, you just can't find eye shadows as exquisite as these in any other line. March 6, 2013Ask & Answer(7 Questions : 9 Answers)Ask & Answer
