Amazing! I had my makeup done for a photo shoot, and the girl at the counter had told me that this makeup photographs extremely well, and she was absolutely right. I went back and bought it because I was so pleased at how my skin looked in the pictures. It also looks just as amazing in persona as well. It is very easy to apply with a brush, and whats great is that you don't need to set it with a powder, so that is a step that you can get rid of in the morning! If you have really dry skin I would definitely recommend applying lots of moisturizer before applying. Other than that I love it, and there are lots of great colors to match you skin. Fate: Great product, but still too dark for ghostly me I have been searching for the ideal cream-to-powder foundation for some time now, and this one would be it if the shades came just a bit lighter. I had bought this product in Illusion from another beauty retailer and found it to be way too dark, so I decided to try Fate. I have a near ghostly neutral complexion, and although I love the texture, the coverage and the ease of application, I still found this shade to be just a touch too dark and/or too yellow-toned. I'm used to Urban Decay carrying lots of great stuff for us super-fair folks, so I hope to see even more fair shades in the future. For anyone not quite so pigment-impaired, I highly recommend this product!! June 26, 2012
THE BEST This cream to powder is THE BEST! While on a hunt for the perfect long lasting foundation I decided to try out this urban decay product and met my match! What I was most looking for what long lasting, and this does so! It literally lasts all day long, no oxidation, all around GREAT! My only problem is that it dries my face out if I use it too many days in a row, which is a given with cream to powders. The fact that I already have extremely dry skin and it takes that long for this cream to powder to do that is great in my book because I like the airbrush affect they give. I pretty much wear this on the weekends then other days wear liquid. WORKS GREAT FOR ME February 14, 2012
Love this foundation! This foundation turns from a cream to a powder when it comes in contact with your skin giving both a sheer, lightweight feeling while still providing a decent amount of cover-up. The little applicator brush hiding in the bottom of the compact is essentially useless and the bristles fallout like mad but its cute at least. The compact itself is adorable and has a nice sized mirror in the lid. The foundation itself really surprised me as I have very sensitive skin but this worked like a charm for me without any crazy skin reactions! February 29, 2012
The perfect, does it all foundation!! I have been searching for a foundation that matches my skin and gave me a light weight yet full coverage, and I have found it! This foundation makes my skin looked airbrushed, without the heavy caked on feeling of traditional liquid foundations. The cream to powder formula of this foundation feels so light weight that I can't even feel it, but it does give me a perfect coverage with a satiny finish! I also don't have to worry about shine or my makeup smearing off! It lasts all day and never looks greasy or faded! I can't recommend this product enough and love the makeup artist who recommended it to me!! February 22, 2012
My new foundation I love how light feeling and non-greasy this foundation is! The coverage is really good though, and it makes my skin look so smooth (and natural)! It also doesn't make me break out or feel greasy at all. I currently use "Illusion" and I love it :) I thought I would have been much light, but it matches my medium skin tone best. I suggest trying out the shades before you buy. I'll definitely buy it again after I run out. I also have to admit, the case cover is SOOOOO pretty, and I can't stop staring at it sometimes. The packaging is so nice, and I also love the brush that comes with it, although I use a buffing brush afterward as well. January 31, 2012
Wonderful foundation. As someone who has had a long search for a proper foundation, I was very glad to find this. I don't like spending much time on makeup, especially foundation. I prefer to focus on my peacock-feather eye makeup. With this foundation, two minutes of blending and possibly a light dusting of de-mattifying powder or a similar product and I'm good to go. This also comes in many more skin tones than your average foundation. I'm very pale, and my biggest problem with face make-up is that it's almost always too beige. Once I found the proper shade, that wasn't an issue for me. I've also been using my current compact nearly daily for over a month and have barely made a dent in it, when means I won't run out for quite a while. A neutral point would be that people who aren't used to this type of foundation and brush might have some difficulties initially. If not blended properly, the makeup will streak. This is neutral because most make-up in existence doesn't look good if not applied properly. The only negative I found was that in-store, the full range of skin tones didn't seem to be available, and the stickers on the packaging for the products ended up misleading. They may have faded, I'm not sure. So be sure to look at the page here to figure out which one matches your skin tone and order it online if you can't find it in stores. I really do love this product, since it's easy to apply and actually matches my skin tone. April 18, 2012
Love this, but more product, and less packaging! First off, I'd like to say that I ABSOLUTELY love this foundation! I've tried different brands and found this one to be my favorite! Comes in a cute little compact with a brush. I wasn't so fond of the brush to begin with, so I just left it untouched and used my powder brush. Works way better. This foundation goes on like a dream. Blends very well and leaves you with a sort of dewy look. I have combination skin, so I have to set it with powder. This foundation is not at all heavy and is natural looking, but can get caught in between lines, such as: eye lids, laugh lines, etc. *** My only issue with the product is that I feel as if I'm paying way more for the packaging (meaning the compact and brush), rather than the product. UD does not offer enough of the foundation. If this is what you plan on using on a daily basis, it would probably last you close to a month or a month. The foundation goes QUICK and I mean QUICK. Overall, I would definitely recommend this foundation, but be warned! You'll probably be making a stop at UD sooner than you know! August 10, 2012

I mix the naked foundation 3.5 and 4.0...what is the best color of Surreal Skin for me?

Q:
Age 46. I want to use for better coverage of uneven skin tone. Skin is not dry or oily - it is normal. I do have large pores on my nose and chin. While I have not encountered any problem with Naked foundation settling into my pores or laugh lines (around lips and mouth), I am concerned about any products which is thick looking on older skin.

In terms of color - I am an "American Mutt". Meaning, I have dark brown hair, light brown eyes and fair to medium skin tone. American Indian and English are my genetics. I don't really have, pink or olive skin additionally my skin has been described as having yellow undertones. Having said that - pinks look really pink. I know that is rather a lot of information but what do Surreal Skin powder is best for me?

Thanks!

Either Trance or Hallucination might work for you. If not, you can take advantage of our 45 day Love It or Leave It free return policy.

You might also want to try our BB cream or Complexion Pore Primer underneath your foundation the reduce redness and minimize the look of fine lines and pores.

As well as our Razor Sharp Finishing Powder to set your makeup without making it look cakey.

The cruelty-free Urban Decay brush (included!) is the best way to apply: just brush it on and buff to a porcelain finish. Your own sponge – or fingers – will work, too.
