I will never switch to another brand as long as Urban Decay keeps producing this product! November 30, 2012my face is pretty again!!! Good foundation is hard to come by. This stuff is awesome. It covers those hard to cover blemishes, it goes on smooth and slick - not super duper powdery. It doesn't fly off everywhere and make a mess like a lot of powders do when you dip a brush in it. I'm not a fan of the puff applicator it comes with, but it doesn't matter. This foundation feels weightless, it covers beautifully, but wears like you're wearing nothing at all. I do have very pale skin (mac nc20) and I bought nirvana thinking I could use it all over my face, but I just ended up looking like an orange, so now I use it on my cheek area to give me some color. Also the packaging could use some work. The powder brush is very hard to use, and when I use my own brush, sometimes it all spills out. Overall I think it is a good product! The actual product is nice. I re-potted it. I use a nice kabuki. Perfect. Be careful though. If you are prone to acne, powder foundations can exasperate the situation. Then the issue becomes age. We all know that as we age, we should use less powder and more liquid. This will emphasize lines and wrinkles. Not as bad as some, but it will. Powders are usually very drying. I generally don't like wearing much in terms of liquid foundation and this powder covers all of my "imperfections" with ease. It's also vegan and cruelty free which is very very important to me. Even with better packaged powders, I end up dumping out an amount to use, then pouring the leftovers back in afterwards. The palest shade available is NOT that pale. I purchased this powder in Illusion, and it is still almost too orange-y to match. Thankfully, I am able to wear a light coating of it and can get it to blend in fine. I put this on my freshly moisturized face and it provides all day light coverage and no shine. I am another person who cannot get the poof applicator to work properly and I sort of wish it just wasn't there. Withon 2 weeks i had returned it and rebought this brand...I think the brand was Exuviance? It made my face break out really bad and it did not blend well in the neck area. What i don't like is the packaging. I open it and use a brush as how powder should be used. However this comes with a weird sponge thing. The sponge thing wastes so much of the powder and you shouldn't wipe the powder on, you should brush it on. SO i would recomend buying a powder brush when buying this product and just skip the sponge thing. It glides onto the skin creating a smooth, even surface. I had a little trouble with the applicator at first, opting for a powder brush instead, but I found it to be too heavy with the brush. Im truly in love with Urban Decays foundation and Razor sharp finishing powder, which by the way is an incredible finishing touch. The product leaves my skin soft. Deslick setting spray totally effective and awesome! I have acne scars (pitted scars) since I was 15. Im now almost 21, I have been made fun of, bullied, and still to this day Im starred at where I go. Oddly enough when I apply UD foundation, I feel confident going out regardless of the scars and I have to say, it is doing wonders for my skin so far.
