TrippyRatings SummarySurreal Skin 139 139AMAZING! THIS PRODUCT GAVE ME GREAT COVERAGE EVEN WITH SOME ACNE AND SCARRING I HAVE , GREATLY RECOMMEND ! February 16, 2012THE BEST FOUNDATION POWDER EVER! I LOVE IT! I have bad dark spots and this covers my dark spots and my pimples! LOVE IT! February 23, 2012great for people with oily skin I use this and i have oily skin and I love it it makes me not have oily skin. February 1, 2012One word Amazing Looks so natural like if there is no makeup on the face. REALLY GOOD PRODUCT! March 7, 2013LOVE IT! Favorite mineral powder. Love the sponge top applicator. Lots of product! March 5, 2013Light. Wight. Feels wonderful. Mousse- like. Doesn't clog pores. Looks all-natural. February 11, 2012mineral not big fan its yellow and not my undertone i would not buy again March 8, 2013THE BEST!! THIS BY FAR THE BEST FOUNDATION I HAVE USED FOR MY OILY SKIN! November 7, 2011good coverage Great coverage, doesn't feel caky or heavy. Reasonable price! February 28, 2012Illusion I got this in Illusion after reading a number of reviews from people with fair skin say that it was too dark even for them. I'm fair, but not the fairest of them all and this color was great for me. If you typically wear something lighter than "Fairly Light", "Ivory 2" or "Natural Vanilla" in certain other brands, Illusion will probably be too dark for you. I plan to switch to Illusion once my current powder foundation is gone; I think the quality is higher than other powder foundations, the application is smoother than some (via brush at least) and there's a bit more in the jar than in any other brands I've used as well (8.5g vs. 8g). I have not figured out the puff that comes with it, so I took it out. The only downfall to that is even when I've twisted the container "closed", foundation will still come out. For now, I've taken to using a foundation brush I already had and tapping foundation into the lid of its container and that works the same as it would if it just came in a regular sifter jar, I think. If I had a "complaint", it might be the shape of the container. It's round and tall, unlike most powder foundation containers being round and kinda flat. This makes storage a bit more tricky for me but is by no means a deal breaker. February 25, 2013Great powder, horrible packaging I took away two stars because that is how horrible the packaging is, but the product itself really deserves 5 stars. I have very fair skin with pink undertones and I use Illusion. It is a great match for my skin--being so fair, it's hard to find powders and/or liquid foundations that match my coloring. The powder is lightweight and feels very nice on the skin, providing sheer coverage, which is perfect for me. A little bit goes a long way. However, thanks to the packaging, I end up wasting a LOT of product. In theory, the included powder applicator seems clever. However, it doesn't work at all. You have to shake a lot of product into the applicator to have a chance of it reaching your face. And then you have to pound on your face with the applicator to transfer the makeup to your skin. And after all that, you still need a brush just to spread out what little product you actually managed to get on your face. Not worth it. So I always take off the lid/applicator and just use a powder brush. But even when I do this, a lot of product is wasted because the diameter of the bowl is very small and powder brushes are big. That said, no matter how careful I am, I always end up losing some of the powder. (and it's annoying having to be so careful when you're in a hurry to get ready!) I've been using this product for over a year now. I'm on my second one, but were it not for the packaging, I'd probably still be on the first. When you spend this much on makeup, you want it to last for awhile! Despite my complaints, I really love the product itself and would still recommend it. However, if UD doesn't change the packaging, I may try to find a new powder foundation when I run out of this one. January 3, 2013Ask & AnswerSurreal Skin 139 139AMAZING! January 3, 2013The WordPro TipsFor precise shading and concealing, makeup junkies can unscrew the lid and use a Good Karma Blush Brush instead of the attached puff.
