This is my HG setting powder. I hate how expensive it is but I have not been able to find a drugstore substitute anywhere near this quality.
It is completely translucent and it works like a charm. I put it on with a small kabuki brush after my foundation/concealer but before any blush or bronzer. I absolutely hate the packaging though. The compact it comes in is cheap and plastic, and it never closed properly. It broke within a week of me having it.

It does work!
I have always struggled with extreme skin, either super shinny, or crazy dry. But when using make up, my face will always start looking oily within an hour or two. With this product all of that has changed. My make up stays on and looks great! And it does not dry my skin. I do have to retouch after a few hours, but it makes my face look picture perfect way longer than any other product I've used before. I'm so glad I decided to try it for my self!

My favorite for touch ups!
I have probably owned at least 20 different oil control powders ranging from cheap to expensive and this is my absolute favorite! A little goes a long way and I can use it when I get tan or pale. I have a VERY oily t-zone and I've tried everything. I still have to touch up throughout the dy, but not as often with this powder.

First Effective management of oil in my life!
This product is amazing. I have been fighting a battle with oily skin for years. This is the first product with any staying power. At first the smell was a little off putting, but I quickly found that a little unusual smell is more than worth the benefit of matte skin. I do have to reapply during the summer time, but during the winter a single coat in the morning does the trick. This is a great product, and I hope they never stop making it!

This powder delivers!
The bright white color of De-slick threw me off at first, but I'm happy that I bought it anyway. It's the only pressed powder that really keeps me shine-free throughout the day. The color disappears on me as soon as I apply it (my skin tone ranges from fair to medium); no crazy chalkiness to worry about. I love it so much, it's the only make-up product I own that I've actually finished the entire thing without straying from it once.

Great powder
This is an amazing product. I have very oily skin but hate caking on products. You don't have to use very much of this product at all for it to work. I love that it's colorless so it doesn't mess with the color of the rest of my makeup. Even though it looks white in the compact it doesn't wash me out and is really effective at keeping my face from getting really shiny. Best of all it never looks really cakey on. Great product

Oily skin , watch out !
The powder worked very well, to cover up my oil blots or my acne, but i felt everytime i used it, i broke out maybe because i have really oily skin and my mom tried it too and same situation as me and she has very oily skin too. So, it could be just us but i personally dont recommend this product for oily skin but it is perfect for any other types of skin, its such a shame because it works beautiful and i love urban decay!

great for oily skin/combination
I love this product because when I notice I have that oily skin it creates a matte look without looking like I applied a whole lot of make-up on again to cover it up. This product can be used with or without make-up. When I don't wear make-up I use this to create a more matte look on my face. It is so natural looking! I am glad I decided to get it. This works better than the blotting sheets and it doesn't try my face out.

Just what I was looking for!
I had to wait a couple months to get this powder since I was overseas (bring UD to India, please!), but once I finally got my hands on it, I wasn't disappointed. I have an oily T-zone, so I needed a product that would control the shine. On most days it holds up without needing to re-apply since I'm not very active.
I would definitely recommend this product to others, and the gorgeous purple compact is a plus!

Sheer Genius!
This product does exactly what it says it'll do! I apply it before the foundation and again after I finish my make-up, and the oil is kept at bay. It is absolutely worth every penny; this is definently a must-have for any person who has very oily skin.

Lifesaver!
I love this product. I tend to get a little shiny on the nose throughout the day, so just sweeping a little of this powder on is so much easier and natural-looking than breaking out the tinted face poweder all the time. You do need to blend it into your skin, or else you get this interesting white hue to your face.

Love it!
I wanted a lightweight powder that would get rid of the shine without caking up. My skin is super-sensitive, so I was a bit worried at first, but after wearing it for a week, nothing is amiss. This stuff works great!
The only downside is that I had to be careful not to over-apply the product. There was a little extra powder in the corners of my nose, but it was easy enough to brush the excess away.

Oil No MORE!
This product is great, not only does it have the cutest packaging it actually does work! Its perfect for on the go application and it really does take away the oil right when i need it! Lets face it oil/combination skins are always looking for a way to keep the oil at bay and this is a GREAT product, its a life saver! I wish this would make this in a powder form with a buffing brush! LOVE

Great for oily skin!
First, I really love the packaging! I have super oily skin, and my face shines all the time. I got this at my local Macy's since it was sold out online, and the lady who introduced it to me just did one sweep and my shine was gone. One thing I noticed was the little applicator that comes with it isn't that great, it's quite flimsy. I have to use my own powder brush to get it onto my face.

Beautiful compact, great product
I bought this because even at 46 I have oily skin, by 10 am in the morning I have to blot, and repowder. Now with the de slick compact I go until after lunch before retouching. Does not break out my skin either. Great product. Wish they made it in a loose powder too.The compact always gets comments when I use it, just because it is sooooo very pretty. This product is worth every penny!

Very nice product
I put this on my T-zone to combat the natural oilyness of the skin there, and it works very well. If put on areas that are naturally a little dry, or just after washing/moisturizing, it can take on a bit of a baby powdered look, so wait a few minutes before putting it on.
For extra power, use this on top of de-slick mattefying gel with the de-slick setting spray last.

Perfect Porcelain Finish--in a Powder!
For years, I would begin the day with a clean, pretty face, and end the day looking sort of...buttery. That ended when I discovered De-Slick Mattifying Powder! Nowadays, I complete my makeup routine by applying De-Slick Powder all over my face. The porcelain-doll finish lasts all morning, and after lunch I only need to blot lightly with a dry Kleenex to return to a matte finish. (Sometimes I reapply if working late or spending a night out.) De-Slick powder comes in a heavy-duty, edgy-pretty (look for the hidden shimmering skull!) compact, with a thin applicator puff that fits inside. I recommend using the puff rather than a powder brush because the powder is so light and dusty that a brush does nothing to this powder but fling it around the room! Also, do not expect this translucent, un-colored powder to cover blemishes or uneven skin tone--put concealer or foundation on first and then finish with De-Slick powder. This product isn't made to change skin tone, it's made for mattifying only--but it does that so well that I can't live without it. Remember, ladies, the buttery look is for baked potatoes, not beautiful faces! De-Slick yourself!

love it!
I love it but the hard problem is the casing. It's super flimsy. Upon closing it, the clasp broke. The de-slicker is amazing though. I have combination skin. Rather than only putting it on the oily areas, I have it all over the face. It prevents my make up from smearing and I use it almost as a primer. Although it's white, it doesn't lighten my face or anything.

Helps makeup last longer
I bought this because Razor Sharp isn't very portable, and loved the results! I like to put this on my t-zone in the early afternoon to refresh my makeup for the rest of the day. But doing it that way, as this product was intended, the little poof that comes with it gets kind of gross about halfway through. I wish they would package it with one or two spares.

its a super lightweight, matte translucent powder. i just love how it sets my makeup and gives everything a nice, matte finish. its lightweight and blendable, and doesnt give my skin a cakey or powdery look. i hit pan on this a long time ago and when its gone i will definitely be repurchasing.

My favorite face powder
Like so many with oily skin I've struggled to find a pressed powder that will take care of the oil situation in my T-zone without making my face look overly caked with makeup. This powder is the perfect solution to that problem, since it just disappears after absorbing excess oil. The pricetag is high, but the product is worth it.

Great product in an even greater package
This is my go-to in the summer, especially when I don't want to wear heavy-feeling makeup. It immediately gets rid of the shine without looking like you've put anything on. It also works well over makeup if you need a touch-up in the middle of the day. All this plus the best looking compact in my purse? I'm sold.

In the summer De-Slick & I are best friends- we literally don't go anywhere by ourselves. Good product for oily skin
This is a great product to keep oil out of your face! I apply it everytime I feel like my face gets oily and it absorbs all the shine! I wish it wasn't so expensive thou since the quantity of the product it's not a lot! Still a great product just wish it came in a larger quantity for the price

I apply this after my makeup is finished to set it. I also use it for touch-ups throughout the day. De-Slick keeps you shine free however the more you apply the whiter your face gets because the powder is white. I suggest a dusting of bronzer after using De-Slick if you dislike the ghost look.

No more Shine!
This product has helped me conquer my shine! My oily skin has been tamed! I apply this right after my foundation and it gets me through the day. The soft powder blots out any shine and holds it off for most of the day. I usually do not have to reapply. Gives a smooth even look to my skin!

Love this powder!
I use this on greasy days to set my foundation and get my oil under control. I find that I rarely even have to touch up, it keeps me shine free for the entire work day! Always double check after application though, it's easy to miss blending a spot or two and end up looking chalky.

Good stuff!
I like this a lot. I have a big problem with my nose being oily and it's been difficult to find a good product to help with that. This works pretty good and is easy to take with you. I didn't rate it a 5 because you have to reapply once or twice. At least I had to. But still great.

I have combination skin, oily in my T-zone. I use to go through packs of oil blotting paper before I found this. I put on my foundation as usual and use this on my t-zone and BOOM no oily nose, It last for hrs and if i need to touchup, because it's is a compact, it quick and easy.
