Effective yet pricey. Final verdict? Worth it! There are days when I really glam it up but then there are days I just want to step out with my favorite UD gloss and sport a fresh makeup-free face. On these days, I bring my De-Slick with me. I have oily prone skin that has caused major problems in the past. I relied on makeup and powders to keep me shine-less but with this product I don't have to wear anything else. That is really important to me, keeping oil at bay, and it's the reason I keep buying this product (because you do go through it rather quickly - it just works that well). Press it well, especially in your t-zone, and go! The oil is stopped in it's tracks. It lasts long enough for a workday, and I re-apply to freshen up for an evening dinner date or gathering. The smell is not the greatest, but it is not bad either; there is definitely no annoying fragrance here either, which I think is good. It got one star short of perfect due to the amount of product for the price. Amazing product, and you will use it faithfully. Just wish the price was lower. February 29, 2012

amazing but maybe not for dry skin right now, i'm all about the dewy complexion look. however, during the summer, this really helps to matte-ify my skin. its also great for taking photographs because a face with too much sheen can look oily. i recommend this especially to women with oily skin. Works surprisingly well! When I first purchased this powder and got it in the mail, I was not impressed. The powder seemed pressed really hard and I felt like I wasn't getting anything on my brush, but I swiped some of this invisible powder over my t-zone anyway. What a surprise! I have combination skin that tends to get pretty oily later in the day. I noticed this powder kept my face matte and not greasy at all. I just run a fluffy brush over my T-zone when I'm done applying makeup and I'm good to go pretty much for the rest of the day. I can hardly ever tell if there's any on my brush, but that's a good thing - you use so little of it, so you won't look cakey. This compact will last me a long time. I don't use the sponge applicator that came with it...it's pretty cheap and flimsy. A brush works best to not disturb the makeup you spent all your time and effort applying! Packaging is very sturdy and durable, no worries about breaking or popping open in your purse/luggage. It's a bigger version of the cheek tint compacts, has a nice large mirror.
