I love it. :) April 27, 2012An Overall Good Cream to Powder Base This product is quick and easy to use and a little goes a long way. Light enough for everyday use (light to medium coverage) However, if you have oily to oily/combo skin I recommend using a skin primer like De-slick spray or gel. Compact is super cute and the brush is a little flimsy but does the job, but love that the brush and product all fit nicely in the compact easy to travel with. After reading the reviews for this foundation I was pretty excited, thinking that maybe this would be a good match for me. I have combination skin with oily spots in my t-zone and chin. I wanted something that was long lasting, would cover a few acne scars, and would even out the skin tone, i.e. dark circles, slight redness. Is this asking to much? This foundation goes on nice enough,and the compact is really cute though I'm not a big fan of the brush. My problem is that it was worn off in 2hrs, looking cake-y in some places and bare in others!! Maybe I didn't apply it the right way or something??? I used the pore perfecting primer, a concealer, the foundation, and the razor sharp finishing powder to set it. Whatever the case may be, I was disappointed in this product and wish I had spent my money on something better. I use the Guardian Angel to prep my skin and the compact, and it goes on smooth and even and doesn't get cakey or accent in my wrinkles. Ten years later and I'm trying again since my skin is much better. I just wanted to look like I had a little glow and a smooth, even tone. This foundation is awesome; it does all the above things. I have fair skin and auburn hair and "Illusion" still wasn't too dark for me. It's very lightweight. The only negatives are that you really need to moisturize before applying so then you don't have darker and more noticeable dry spots. Secondly, the brush isn't that great. It's fine for getting the foundation on your face, but I would definitely have another brush to blend it. No huge issues.
