The lady working at the counter gave such a good sales pitch about it, but none of it really turned out to be true. I have combination skin with red patches on my cheeks that I feel the need to cover up. This foundation does not have enough coverage to conceal the redness without looking very caked on. Also, as mentioned in previous reviews, the foundation will cling and gather to the dry patches on my face. Within a few hours, even if I set it with a powder, my foundation looks terrible because it's so patchy and splotchy. And if it's really a cream-to-powder formulation, I was wondering, should I really need to set it? After applying the foundation, my skin is left looking pretty oily, so I do feel the need to set it with a powder. And the shininess still shines through, somehow. Before any of that, I had the most difficult time figuring out an effective way to apply the product itself. I tried using my hands (terrible fail), the brush inside (an even worse fail), stippling brushes, buffing brushes, you name it. I've found that my beauty blender (Sephora website) works the best for applying the product, because it helps me to avoid the cakey look, but the product still gathers in dry areas, so I've honestly given up on it.
