An explosion of prismatic sparkle against a wash of color... Miniscule bits of sophisticated glitter give you sexy, twinkling lids. No fallout, no teen glitter.

It's something unexpected in eyeshadow: an explosion of stars. Stardust shadows' silky texture delivers an incredible amount of sophisticated, twinkling sparkle. Boasting 40% more glitter than our most sparkly shadows, Stardust delivers a sheer wash of color, topped with teeny bits of iridescent sparkle that glisten like wet snow. The glitter (a pricey ingredient called reflex), actually stays on your lids. No fallout, no chunky glitter... just stunning, sparkling eyes.

Stardust Eyeshadow is absolutely beautiful! I am hooked on these eyeshadows! The colors are vivid and ultra sparkly. I only wish there were more colors to choose from! As with all UD eyeshadows, this shadow is pigment-rich, easy to blend, glides on easily, doesn't crease or smudge and the sparkle stays on your eyelids, not all over your face. I love the new style of container because it seems to hold so much more eyeshadow than the original UD shadow containers. I have gotten so many compliments on this shadow since I've started wearing it. I wear it almost every day now.. I would recommend giving it a try if you haven't already! July 26, 2011
Retrograde, Grifter, Diamond Dog, and Space Cowboy I LOOOOVVVEEE these shadows. They go on somewhat light but are very buildable. I have to say Retrograde is my favorite out of the 4 colors that I own, but I love them all equally at the same time. The dark purple really makes my green eyes stand out. I use YDK on the entire lid then use Midnight Cowboy above the lid all the way to the brow bone. And finally use Retrograde as a "smoke" type of shade. I put it over the Midnight Cowboy just above the crease of my eyes. It looks amazing and it is sooo sparkly. All of the colors are very very sparkly without having huge chunks of glitter all over the place. There isnt too much fallout either which is another good thing about these shadows. April 16, 2012
LOVE :-) I got a small size of this in an Urban Decay eyes shadow primer package at Sephora. The SA showed me how to apply the shadow and I'm so glad she did, I'm a bit of a rookie at makeup application. I used a foam applicator and pressed it on the lower center lid, and then kinda smudged it out across just my lower lid. It looks amazing! It can be done subtle enough that you could wear it for daytime/work and then bold it up for night. Overall, it lasted all day/night, looked great and really brought out my eye color. If you apply it right, the purple color will come through, use a foam brush (not a makeup brush) and you should get the results you want. March 11, 2013
Perfect amount of sparkle! You never know what you're going to get with a sparkly/glittery eye color. Sometimes it is too much, other times too little. These have JUST the right amount, and I consider them a staple in my eye makeup kit. You can use them alone for some subtle sparking, or on top of other colors for something slightly more dramatic. They are buildable too. Also, as a manager at work it is important for me to be able to find a look that is both fun AND professional, and these are perfect. In fact, I've gotten many compliments on it and questions about where they can find it for themselves! February 29, 2012
Just learned the secret... I've had this eyeshadow for a while and I just fell in love with it. Apparently, I made the mistake of brushing it on like a standard shadow - according to UD, it needs to be "pressed" on with the side of an eyeshadow brush, and that made all the difference. On top of my UD primer, pressed on (with complimenting colors for crease and browbone from Naked2), my Moon Spoon is absolutely lovely. The color is smooth and buildable, so it has great versatility. I do get some glitter fallout on my cheeks, but it's such a subtle, pretty glitter that I don't even mind. Beautiful color, easy to use (now that I know the trick) - really just lovely. I wish I could justify buying more colors! February 24, 2012
Retrograde, Space Cowboy and Atmosphere These are advertised as fallout-proof, so I was excited because shadow/sparkle falling onto my cheeks during application is probably my biggest makeup pet-peeve. They are not totally fallout proof, unfortunately, although they do fair a lot better than other sparkly UD shadows in that department. Despite the (minimal) fallout I use this product a lot and have subsequently bought other colors. Great for an easy evening look. I would recommend the natural shades because it is difficult for the pigment in the colored one to go on evenly. Beautiful packaging!! Love the one-handed squeeze open container. July 30, 2011
The best glitter eye shadow I've ever used This stuff is amazing and gives your eyes (or cheeks!) that sexy glimmery/slightly wet look. 54 is my favorite shade, as the others have pretty standard silver shimmer but the shimmer in 54 is more rainbowy and interesting. Also, since the base color of 54 is pretty subdued, you can use this shade in a lot of looks. So if you have to get just one, get 54, but the others are great too... especially the neutral colors like moon spoon because they give a fun kick to neutral looks! I just wish the colors of the shimmer varied more from shade to shade. February 29, 2012
Gorgeous subtle sparkle. This is my absolute favorite eyeshadow from Urban Decay. I really want a palette to come out with these shadows (hint, hint). I would love to see more colors come out, too. These shadows are perfect for those of you who love sparkle but hate glitter fallout. These have a much different texture than traditional glittery eyeshadow; it's like shimmer times ten. The best way to apply them is either with your finger or wet with a sponge applicator. Using a brush isn't going to give you enough color payoff. February 11, 2012
Starlight Starbright almost two years ago I went to visit my sister at work and grab something to eat. At the end of the night while I waited for her to get off one of the girls who worked there sat down to talk to me. Under the dim restraunt lighting (they were one of those places that liked mood lighting) I noticed her eyes were a blaze of sheer, shimmery, super-sparkles. I immediately asked what she was wearing and she said the magic words. Stardust by Urban Decay! I had never used (or heard of, I'm sad to say) UD but I immediately went and searched it out at a local beauty store. They didn't have a large selection of colors but I purchased the Diamong Dog and Bobby Dazzle shades just to give them a try. I LOVED being able to create a smoky eye with all that shimmer and glitter! I felt like I was made of star stuff! I use the Bobby Dazzle now almost all the time no matter what eyeshadow I'm wearing to give a shimmery base that stays put all day! This eyeshadow is densely packed with sparkle so there is some fallout but it's not bad considering. I pack it onto my brush then tap it on the side of the container to shake loose particles off and apply. The worst I get is a little sparkle falling onto the top of my cheekbones which is fine. It just gives me a dewey glow. Also, with the darker pigmented colors like Diamong Dog you do have to be careful not to apply too much at once since it's a loose soft powdery shadow it does smear some. Better to build it up in layers. I LOVE Stardust. April 25, 2012
Just the right about of sparkle and shimmer I bought Bobby Dazzle, Diamond Dog and Space Cowboy. I get a lot of compliments when I wear these because there is a whole lot of shimmer going on with these shadows. THis is not chunky, teenage sparkles, this is grown up shimmer. Love to throw Diamond Dog on over Twice Baked in my crease. Bobby Dazzle is great as a highlighter and Space Cowboy is great on the lid. Space Cowboy is a little too close to my natural skin color, so I put it on over the Moonshine UD cream shadow or UD Greed primer potion to help it pop more. October 28, 2011
Fun Eye shadows I own several shades in the Stardust Eye shadow line. My favorite two shades are Space Cowboy and Atmosphere. Where I experienced a LOT of fallout with Midnight Cowboy and hated it, I fell absolutely in love with Space Cowboy. The exact shade that it shows up as on my lids is perfect for when I don't want to wear a dark color but I still want to look put together. Atmosphere is a fun turquoise shade. I feel like these sparkly shades have less fallout than the glitter eye shadows in the main line. My main complaint is that because of their finish type, they're not as intense/dark as I would like, and that there aren't any fuchsias or magentas.Still, I finally like one of the incarnations of Midnight Cowboy, which is nice. February 25, 2012
Thrilled! As a makeup artist/obsessed this product is divine! I bought the Color "bobby Dazzle" and it's SO lovely. I have been getting holloween glamour requests lately. The most requested is fairy. This product is not only lovely for eyes but also to use along the cheek bones for the Una fairy sort of glamour. My only wish is that this particular line of stardust eyeshadows came in more colors. I see black, purples, ivory, even a green and brown. But I'd love to see golds, or blues, pinks, etc. I would purchase the lot of them if it came in more colors. October 19, 2012
PIgment was not strong I bought this in retrograde because I love purple and sparkly eyeshadow, but when I put it on the color seemed to be barely there. To get the color you MUST use it with a primer and layer the eyeshadow. It's a good eyeshadow, but for the price I was expecting something better... I love UD eyeshadow, but I probably won't buy from the stardust collection again. March 5, 2012
I like this product but.... I have this product in Bobby dazzle and diamond dog shades. I ordered them online which I usually dont by a lot of makeup online because you never know what the shade is gonna be in real life, when I got them I was really happy that it looked like what i had ordered. I love the little case it's in, I've never seen anything like it, it's just neat the way it's spring loaded and just pops open when you squeeze the sides. The only negative is that you need to becareful when applying your whole face can end up being super glittery. But besides that I love the color and shimmer when it stays on my eyes. March 12, 2013
This is an amazing product I love the Stardust collection. It's absolutely wonderful because it adds that extra shine your eyes need. It's versatility is great; you can use it over eye shadow or as a shadow itself and it's easy to use. My only problem is how it opens so easily. I wish it would lock firmly into place when closing it mainly because I am so clumsy and as soon as you drop it, the case pops right open and the shadow is all over the floor. Or in my case, my purse. It looks good anywhere really, but I would rather have it on my face. April 16, 2012
Stardust Makes You Sparkle I bought Diamond Dog and Midnight Cowboy to complete my wedding look (I used the urban decay makeup guide from the fb page) and they were amazing! The glitter stayed where it was for the most part (except when I rubbed my eyes). The color selection is great and I would love to get the purple one in the future. The glitter adds a hint of sparkle without looking juvenile. I wear stardust shadow on every special occasion and even when I just want to spice up my look. I will continue buildingup my stardust collection. February 24, 2012
Light Sparkle I have four colors of the Stardust. I love them all. I mostly use "Retrograde" and "Moon Spoon". I usually use them alone and build up the color to the darkness I want. So you can have a really light amount of color with big sparkle or go really dark depending on how much apply. I apply it using my ring finger. The glitter in this WILL fall out and onto the area just below your eye. I really don't mind it cause I love glitter, but you can somewhat avoid it by holding a tissue under your eye while you apply it. "Space Cowboy" is one I use over top of other colors like "Roach" eye shadow. It softens up darker colors and adds glitter. "Atmosphere" is the other color I have and that I use on its own. While I really like it I just don't don't have that much to wear with it. July 26, 2011
Beautiful sparkles! If you dislike the fat sparkles that fall in your eyes like in Uzi these are perfect substitute. They have hardly any pigment, so they pretty much have to be used as a top coat but you can't beat the shine you get from these eyeshadows. August 30, 2011
AMAZING eyeshadow and fun look! <3 I adore UD makeup. I have a eyeshadow pallet from UD my husband got me for my birthday and became hooked to UD makeup! It's all i order now. The stardust eye shadow is one of my favorites because the ease of application and colors. I have a medium tan and these colors pop on my skin beautifully. The primer gives it a whole new look too by keeping it in place all day. It looks fablous mixed with UD 24/7 liquid eyeliner and depending on the eyeshadow color you get UD Revolution red lipstick also looks amazing! February 24, 2012
Everyday eye shimmer Love using the Bobby Dazzle for the light color up near the brow line, it also helps lighten up darker colors if needs be. Only problem can be some of the shimmer getting all over the place, but well worth it! February 17, 2012
VERY Sparkly! I love love love these eye shadows! VERY sparkly without being teeny-bopperish. It's more shimmer/sparkly than it is straight-up glitter. Long lasting, high quality, beautiful!! February 21, 2012
beautiful colors but a little messy I love this shadow, it's absolutely beautiful on but it can get all over the place. I don't use it very often but when I do, I always get compliments. February 17, 2012
Pretty I don't know what the others are talking about when they say there is fallout. I have no problem with fallout. The color stays as well as the sparkle, and boy does it sparkle. I love how the sparkle pieces are so small. It adds such a nice touch to my eyes without looking childish. The light picks up on the glitter in such a perfect way, without all of the big bits that most sparkly eyeshadows have. I think it looks weird when you can see big pieces of glitter when the light shines, which is why I love these shadows. No big chunks of glitter, just nice, pretty sparkly eyes. April 16, 2013
Too much glitter fallout These shadows are pretty, but the glitter falls all over my face all day. I hate glitter getting on my cheeks because it settles in my pores and makes them look bigger than they really are. I have tried pressing it on primed lids with a brush, a sponge applicator, and even my finger. Noting makes this shadow say put. It's very frustrating. February 27, 2012
*SPARKLE* Sophisticated sparkle that stays put. Doesn't get eveyrwhere. February 17, 2012
Great Sparkle I really love the color and the sparkle of this shadow. It is just beautiful, and no photo can do it justice. I have had one problem though. I do use a primer on my eye before I put on my shadow, but for some reason the shadow is not staying on my eye. I put it on and literally an hour later it is totally gone. I really really love the colors, but I am really sad about the wear time I am getting. For being as expensive as they are, I cannot say I am %100 happy with these as I have been with everything else I have bought from Urban Decay. May 3, 2012
Bobby Dazzle, Retrograde, Space Cowboy I bought 3 of these so far: Bobby Dazzle, Retrograde, & Space Cowboy. All of the colors go on much, much lighter than they appear. Space Cowboy is a light brown & close to my skin color but just a tad too dark to use as a highlighter. I use this one the least. Retrograde is ok. It's not a bright purple & you have to build it to get to the true purple color it is. It's like a sheer dark purple. If I had to do it over I would've bought 54 instead. I like to use it over Flash for extra sparkle. Bobby Dazzle is probably the only one I would ever repurchase. I use it almost daily as a highlighter, or sometimes over another highlight color cause it's so sheer but it adds lots of sparkle. It's a barely there color but it has tons of glitter. Be careful when you go to use it cause if you press too hard it will start to crumble. When I'm going somewhere special I like to use a big brush & sweep it all over my face for tons of glitter everywhere - that's probably my favorite use! ;) December 21, 2011
Not Messy, Pretty Colors. I LOVE using this on top of my primer potion, Its very sparkly and you can actually tell the difference between the sparkle colors (in a lot of my other glitter product are very similar in color, but with this product I can actually tell the difference between colors.) and its not messy at all! LOVE IT! February 21, 2012
awesome! The colors alone should be enough for you to want this!!! The color is a little on the sheer side but, if you want more color payoff then keep adding more. It has a gorgeous sparkle to it as well. Again the color pay off is sheer so.keep adding more for a more vibrant payoff! February 28, 2012
LOVE IT! Diamond Dog is my ultimate fav color in this line. Its like an iridescent ash brown with a nice sparkle that can be worn in the day or night. I use it as a neutral background base when I want a bright red, orange or pink lip. It's awesome in balancing the hues for day. December 11, 2012
