It was such a beautiful color, and so easy to use! Recently i got a sample of "Naked" from the naked 2, and urban decay did it again, amazing color, easy to use. Just the other day i picked up "Midnight Cowboy" and this by far is my favorite lipgloss. Its a beautiful clear, with glitter. Its a very neutral shade, which makes it go with the naked palettes or any nude shade. I would defiantly recommend this product! From ages 12+. Its a beautiful shade and defiantly worth the money. I would recommend a good Chapstick underneath, such as baby lips, or EOS. April 4, 2012Great non-sticky gloss!!!! I have UD Lip Junkie in Naked, Wallflower and Crush and love them all. The gloss is not sticky and has a nice smell and flavor. Naked does not have much color once applied, but adds a nice subtle rosy color, Wallflower and Crush are more intesly pigmented, with Walflower being almost opaque (but the color itself is not bright so it still looks more natural). Crush is very bright but not opaque so you can control the amount of color that comes out on the lips. I don't notice a tingly sensation when I apply the gloss and don't notice any plumping action, but that is not why I bought the gloss :) Overall I love this gloss, it lasts about 2 hours on my lips, with some resuidual color left after that... also works well over UD lipsticks. I bought it at Sephora on Fashion's Night Out last year because I was playing with the testers and they weren't sticky, so I decided to take Peroxide home with me. The gloss works well over lipstick or chapstick, and it fits nicely inside my pocket at work. I love the smell, taste and tingle of the gloss! One thing that I like in particular about it, is that the color is not over powering so I can put on a light layer for a glossy pout or apply more to have the fun color also. Funny thing is, both my sister and one of my coworkers saw me putting it on one day and they are now addicted. Needless to say, it was an easy birthday gift. July 9, 2011The only thing 'junkie' is the packaging I have these in Streak and Peroxide. The gloss itself is great. My lips are always smooth, and my bf loves that they're minty. But the caps on both bottles are worthless. On Streak, the purple part came unattached from the silver and won't stay on, and on the Peroxide one, the small piece inside the cap that keeps the gloss from oozing out completely broke off. Good gloss, WORTHLESS packaging. You would think being a higher end brand that is something you wouldn't have to deal with, so that's a bummer. August 31, 2012I'm obsessed!! I never thought I would be a lipgloss girl, nine out of ten times I prefer lipstick for staying power and color payoff. Well, I took a chance and bought Lip Junkie in both Midnight Cowboy and Runaway. I quickly fell in love with both colors and the formula. These glosses are not tacky or sticky, they're smooth and glide on like a dream (you might want to use a mirror for Runaway though, as it is pretty pigmented), but still last me a good two hours. Considering that I talk and drink/eat a lot more than most, that is a huge accomplishment in my book! I will definitely be expanding my collection of these glosses from the three I own now. A great value! February 16, 2012Super cute I received a sample of naked with my NAKED2 palette and it was so tiny and cute, I kind of wish UD would sell a little bundle of these in that cute, tiny packaging, kind of like a sampler the way they do with eyeliners. So far, I'm really loving my sample and now that I've tried it, I want to buy more. UD was always my favorite for eye products, I hadn't really tried their lip products very much, but now I'm really looking forward to picking up new colors. The formula isn't super sticky, it wears for a decent amount of time, and the pigmentation is good for the color that I've tried. Loving this so far. February 10, 2012best lipgloss/best plumper To be honest, I know several lip glosses by other brands that I like. However, none plump like this one does. Before trying it, I'd only had one lip gloss that plumped a little bit and this one certainly plumps a LOT. My favorite shades are naked and wallflower, but I like a lot of the pinks, too. These come in a range of milky shades to glittery shades. I love it a lot and plan on buying another soon. I like how long-lasting this is and how it isn't gunky when it starts to dry; it never has that ultra sticky and clumping texture. It's not too sticky, and stays on for a good number of hours for a gloss (2-3). I have the colors wallflower - a warm nude, and crush - a hot pink. Crush looks a bit daunting in the tube, but it's sheer enough to give you a boost of color without looking like a clown. I could use Wallflower everyday because it's so neutral. The applicator is a slanted rubbery tip, which is easy and quick to use. On occasion though, I have seen a deformed applicator tip, as though the plastic/rubber didn't completely fill the mold. This is my favorite lipgloss from Urban Decay. February 10, 2012Pretty Packaging, Not completly sold... The one I bought was on sale. Not sure if that why my experience was less than wonderful? (Maybe older formula?) I purchased "Runaway". Color was nice, packaging was nice (Im a sucker for things that look nice on my vanity. ) Not sure what to think about the funky applicator tip. It didn't seems to make the product go on any better & in fact I was confused on the concept. The formula, performance & longevity wasn't necessarily bad, but lets just say Im glad I paid sale price & not full price. I have other glosses on hand that work just as good at a fraction of cost. I dont think I will purchase again UNLESS I see a color that just isnt readily available elsewhere. March 6, 2013I do not like these. I found the scent to be fake with a hint of strange. I like mint lip products, mint anything really. This just smelled like cheap peppermint, fake peppermint. I would prefer the scent to be more natural. I do not think it tastes good. It is sticky. I like sticky. I find sticky glosses usually last longer. It did not plump my lips. The shine does make them appear slightly larger, but I can get that from most gloss. Overall, not impressed (at all). I own a mini naked. Color looks exactly like my lips. I can hardly tell I have it on. I do not find it pigmented. It is not the sheerest gloss I have used, but it is still lightly pigmented. I won't be buying the full size. December 19, 2011Gloss Hater, Junkie Lover If you're looking for lip gloss recommendations, don't ask me. I hate lip gloss. I hate how sticky it is, how shiny it is, and I'm generally not fond of the taste of glosses, either. So why the bleepin' bleep am I writing a review on this? Because I love Lip Junkie glosses. They're smooth, non-sticky, and extremely easy to work with. The minty flavour is sweet and not at all overpowering. Plus the colour array is very nice (hello, Perversion!). I also dig the mild tingle it imparts, thanks to the lip-plumping agent used in the formula. The packaging is also great - the angle-tip applicator glides over lipstick easily, and keeps your gloss safe from contamination, which can happen with doe-foot dealiewhackers. All in all, everything about this gloss is win. If you're like me and loathe lip gloss, this might just be the gloss that wins you over. July 26, 2011<3 aaaah I love the texture of this gloss. It has the yummiest smell ever, a cool but not overpowering mint. They aren't crazy pigmented, as most of UDs stuff is, but I love them nonetheless. I have Wallflower (full size) and Midnight Cowboy (deluxe sample). Wallflower is opaque and beautiful... but my lips are the same color it looks more like Ozone (please make that, by the way)! Midnight Cowboy is a beige jelly with rainbow microglitter... it's not gritty at all, though! These are my favorite lipgloss and I'm buying Red Light as soon as I can. The packaging isn't great, as the cap fell off on mine, and the UD label scuffed off (it's printed on, not a sticker) but the formula is so great I can look past it. Seriously. Try this stuff. July 21, 2011Great Everyone praises the 24/7 Eye Pencils, but these Lip Pencils are just as amazing! The are super duper smooth and glide on easily without tugging at the lips or drying them out, they last forever, and they really help prolong the wear of lip stick and gloss. These pencils also help prevent feathering/bleeding of lip products. My favorite is Wallflower because it is neutral and I can wear it with almost any shade of lipstick. Often times, I wear just these pencils on my lips as lip color, with just a gloss on top, because these pencils are pigmented, smooth, long-lasting, and non-drying. The only con is that there need to be more shades, but what they have really is pretty good. March 10, 2013Lip Junkie in Crush This lip gloss is amazing. Its a pretty almost see through vibrant pink. I have a very hard time getting away with very pink lip products, but this one is very sheer and sleek. The more you layer the product, the brighter and more pigmented it gets, which is just great for going from day to night. The gloss isnt sticky or tacky, which is great. No one wants goopy lips. I would have given this product 5 stars across the board if it wasnt for the layering effect, some people may have to use it awhile to get how to layer to the intessity thats desired. Overall great product and i will be purchasing again! March 15, 2012Best Lip Gloss EVER! I have this in Crush and Midnight Cowboy. They go on really smooth and look great. Crush builds to a really bright pink. Midnight Cowboy gives that perfect clear "wet lips" look. Midnight Cowboy is my go to gloss and the one that I always have to have with me. I get compliments on it all the time. These are well worth the cost and a must have for any makeup collection. I like to use the lip stain to give my very pale lips some colour. Then fill them in with a clear lip liner to add "staying power" to glosses. Even with a lip balm these glosses will help your lips look a little fuller and smoother. :) January 3, 2013Resilient! I got a small tube of this in my Rollergirl palette, and plan to order more in the shades I normally wear. LOVE this stuff! I've used lipglosses from lots of the leading department store brands, and NONE of them hold a candle to Lip Junkie! This stuff LASTS! OMG, I have to say, before I bought this product, I was NOT a lip gloss kind of girl - I always found them too sticky or they smelled or tasted weird (total deal breaker!). This totally changed my mind! I bought it in Midnight Cowboy and it is the most beautiful color - a nice sparkly pale nude pink. You could easily wear it alone, but I prefer to layer it over my lipstick for a little added shine. It is NOT STICKY AT ALL! Shine- I love the shine on these. you can apply a little for some shine, or a lot for that glassy look Taste/smell- I love the peppermint taste/smell!! It's very pleasant, not overpowering I also like the cooling/plumping effect. The tube leaves a little something to be desired, but overall it's not an issue. February 25, 2012Lip gloss that is NOT sticky! I use Midnight Cowboy to spruce up browns or nude lipsticks and even wear alone when I want to keep my lips simple. Crush gives me that pop of color when I use neutrals on my eyes or if I want to give some oomph to pinks and red lipsticks. The variety of colors is wonderful! The product itself for both of the colors is the same, no variance. Both excellent. For a long time I did not like lip glosses because they were sticky and tasted aweful. Most importantly, it didn't make me look like a duck with oily lips! It tastes like peppermint unlike most glosses which has a foul taste. Bought this in "Jilted" after receiving a sample of "Wallflower" (which I plan to purchase in a full size once I run out!) I, like another reviewer, had the black decorative cap separate the first time I tried to open it, it's held on with some gummy adhesive so I just pushed it back on & haven't had a problem since. The scent and taste of these is great, kind of chocolate mint. They do make lips look fuller and when you put it on there's a light tingly sensation for a few minutes. I like mint lip products, mint anything really. This just smelled like cheap peppermint, fake peppermint. I would prefer the scent to be more natural. I do not think it tastes good. It is sticky. I like sticky. I find sticky glosses usually last longer. It did not plump my lips. The shine does make them appear slightly larger, but I can get that from most gloss. Overall, not impressed (at all). I own a mini naked. Color looks exactly like my lips. I can hardly tell I have it on. I do not find it pigmented. It is not the sheerest gloss I have used, but it is still lightly pigmented. I won't be buying the full size. December 19, 2011Gloss Hater, Junkie Lover If you're looking for lip gloss recommendations, don't ask me. I hate lip gloss. I hate how sticky it is, how shiny it is, and I'm generally not fond of the taste of glosses, either. So why the bleepin' bleep am I writing a review on this? Because I love Lip Junkie glosses. They're smooth, non-sticky, and extremely easy to work with. The minty flavour is sweet and not at all overpowering. Plus the colour array is very nice (hello, Perversion!). I also dig the mild tingle it imparts, thanks to the lip-plumping agent used in the formula. The packaging is also great - the angle-tip applicator glides over lipstick easily, and keeps your gloss safe from contamination, which can happen with doe-foot dealiewhackers. All in all, everything about this gloss is win. If you're like me and loathe lip gloss, this might just be the gloss that wins you over. July 26, 2011<3 aaaah I love the texture of this gloss. It has the yummiest smell ever, a cool but not overpowering mint. They aren't crazy pigmented, as most of UDs stuff is, but I love them nonetheless. I have Wallflower (full size) and Midnight Cowboy (deluxe sample). Wallflower is opaque and beautiful... but my lips are the same color it looks more like Ozone (please make that, by the way)! Midnight Cowboy is a beige jelly with rainbow microglitter... it's not gritty at all, though! These are my favorite lipgloss and I'm buying Red Light as soon as I can. The packaging isn't great, as the cap fell off on mine, and the UD label scuffed off (it's printed on, not a sticker) but the formula is so great I can look past it. Seriously. Try this stuff. July 21, 2011Great Everyone praises the 24/7 Eye Pencils, but these Lip Pencils are just as amazing! The are super duper smooth and glide on easily without tugging at the lips or drying them out, they last forever, and they really help prolong the wear of lip stick and gloss. These pencils also help prevent feathering/bleeding of lip products. My favorite is Wallflower because it is neutral and I can wear it with almost any shade of lipstick. Often times, I wear just these pencils on my lips as lip color, with just a gloss on top, because these pencils are pigmented, smooth, long-lasting, and non-drying. The only con is that there need to be more shades, but what they have really is pretty good. March 10, 2013Lip Junkie in Crush This lip gloss is amazing. Its a pretty almost see through vibrant pink. I have a very hard time getting away with very pink lip products, but this one is very sheer and sleek. The more you layer the product, the brighter and more pigmented it gets, which is just great for going from day to night. The gloss isnt sticky or tacky, which is great. No one wants goopy lips. I would have given this product 5 stars across the board if it wasnt for the layering effect, some people may have to use it awhile to get how to layer to the intessity thats desired. Overall great product and i will be purchasing again! March 15, 2012Best Lip Gloss EVER! I have this in Crush and Midnight Cowboy. They go on really smooth and look great. Crush builds to a really bright pink. Midnight Cowboy gives that perfect clear "wet lips" look. Midnight Cowboy is my go to gloss and the one that I always have to have with me. I get compliments on it all the time. These are well worth the cost and a must have for any makeup collection. I like to use the lip stain to give my very pale lips some colour. Then fill them in with a clear lip liner to add "staying power" to glosses. Even with a lip balm these glosses will help your lips look a little fuller and smoother. :) January 3, 2013Resilient! I got a small tube of this in my Rollergirl palette, and plan to order more in the shades I normally wear. LOVE this stuff! I've used lipglosses from lots of the leading department store brands, and NONE of them hold a candle to Lip Junkie! This stuff LASTS! Even with my incessant lip biting and licking, this stuff stays put for hours! It's a good, thick formula that just STICKS to your lips! I typically only wear clear lip glosses and balms as my lips are naturally really pink; however, during the holidays I decided to try something new. I rely on UD for almost all of my makeup needs, so naturally I went to their brand first. I bought Midnight Cowboy, went to my car, applied, and instantly went back into the cosmetics store to purchase the other two remaining on the shelf! January 31, 2012FAVORITE LIP GLOSS EVER!!! OMG, I have to say, before I bought this product, I was NOT a lip gloss kind of girl - I always found them too sticky or they smelled or tasted weird (total deal breaker!). This totally changed my mind! I bought it in Midnight Cowboy and it is the most beautiful color - a nice sparkly pale nude pink. You could easily wear it alone, but I prefer to layer it over my lipstick for a little added shine. It is NOT STICKY AT ALL! And it smells sweet & minty and doesn't leave a weird gross taste in the back of my throat when I lick my lips. I hope they NEVER stop selling this gloss, I would be heartbroken! March 6, 2013Lip junkie To start off, I have to say that I'm very picky about my lip gloss. That being said, I do like these. Stickiness- to me, these are a bit sticky, but not in a gross goopy way. Very tolerable. Color-very nice, though next time I probably won't get a sparkly one. Lasts longer than the gloss. Shine- I love the shine on these. you can apply a little for some shine, or a lot for that glassy look Taste/smell- I love the peppermint taste/smell!! It's very pleasant, not overpowering I also like the cooling/plumping effect. The tube leaves a little something to be desired, but overall it's not an issue. February 25, 2012Lip gloss that is NOT sticky! I use Midnight Cowboy to spruce up browns or nude lipsticks and even wear alone when I want to keep my lips simple. Crush gives me that pop of color when I use neutrals on my eyes or if I want to give some oomph to pinks and red lipsticks. The variety of colors is wonderful! The product itself for both of the colors is the same, no variance. Both excellent. For a long time I did not like lip glosses because they were sticky and tasted aweful. Lip Junkies are a happy balance of the shine you expect from lip gloss with out looking like you dipped your lips in grease. The mint taste is subtle and I personally love anything mint (ice creams, chocolates, in my coffee etc) so its an added bonus! March 5, 2013Fantastic! I have never been a fan of lipgloss because they make my lips feel sticky. Almost all my makeup is Mac, but I only used the lipsticks because of the stickiness of the glosses. However, I recently ordered the Naked 2 palette, which came with a mini tube of Lip Junkie gloss. Needless to say, I'm never going back! The gloss was gorgeous, lasted a long time, and didn't make me feel like I had glue on my lips! Plus, it smelled really minty. I'm definitely buying full-sized Lip Junkie glosses soon! Buy this gloss. You won't regret it :) July 8, 2012Love it! This came with my Naked2 palette. At first, I sought to get rid of it because I do not need lip wear and gloss usually irritates me. Just yesterday, I had a performance and I tried to put some of the Naked Lip Junkie on. This is the first lip gloss that looks natural yet pop without making me look like I have too much make up on. Most importantly, it didn't make me look like a duck with oily lips! It tastes like peppermint unlike most glosses which has a foul taste. Bought this in "Jilted" after receiving a sample of "Wallflower" (which I plan to purchase in a full size once I run out!) Love the texture, it feels really luxurious on & lasts pretty long for a gloss. It's not sticky at first but gets a little sticky once it starts wearing off. Love the minty smell. I, like another reviewer, had the black decorative cap separate the first time I tried to open it, it's held on with some gummy adhesive so I just pushed it back on & haven't had a problem since. I will definitely buy this again! January 3, 2012Amazing Gloss! I am a gloss junkie and am always trying new ones, and Lip Junkie has climbed to the top of my list of faves! I have Naked which is a perfect pinky neutral that goes with any makeup look. I also have Love Junkie which looks really dark in the tube but goes on as a sheer plummy red. The scent and taste of these is great, kind of chocolate mint. They do make lips look fuller and when you put it on there's a light tingly sensation for a few minutes. Definitely a great gloss, and I love the packaging too - the cap is so cute and the angled tip makes it easy to quickly apply gloss. An A+ from me! February 16, 2012Lovely lip gloss I discovered my first Lip junkie lipgloss at a sephora sale. I was looking for a nice, not sticky almost nude lipgloss to wear on top of a brownish lipstick i had. I started looking through all the sale items on sephora and I found lots of UD's lip junkie lipglosses! When I saw the one called NAKED i knew it was the one, i love the color, it is very light on your lips, and the scent is very light and I like it very much. Its not very candy scented, i dont like to eat candy or sweet lipgloss all day. Its kind of a light mint, very fresh and subtile. The colors are pigmented and very pretty.
