Midnight CowboyRatings SummaryLip Junkie 1266 1266Good gloss I have been using UD glosses for many years now and they have been redone several times and each time I have always found a favorite. This time Peroxide, Midnight Cowboy , and Perversion have made my list. Perversion has a purple-black hue and is very vampy and hard to find. Midnight Cowboy is like the original eyeshadow color and has nice not over powering glitter to it. Peroxide is a light pink and I like pairing it with smokey eyes. I mostly bought them for their color, the formula is pretty good overall. It is not as sticky as other glosses but if too much is applied it can be. It does have a nice minty taste and makes my lips a little tingly. It has above average staying power and a very high shine. Overall a great product. March 7, 2013LOVE IT! I got the sample size of the Midnight Cowboy gloss from the Urban Bride set online here, and when i first saw it, i was like " this is it?". but man, was i wrong. even though the sample was super small, IT IS STILL GOING! :) i still have HALF of the tube left and it is the probably the size of my pinky! And i used it everyday for about a month or two, maybe even three! I recieved the full size for Christmas from a relative because i loved it that much, and everyone knew it because i recommended it to all. It it not sticky whatsoever, and it i like how it cools and plumps your lips, making them feel just a hint of coolness on your lips. not too much to make them over-sized and feeling numb. It is the shade i have been looking for forever, and it compliments my skin so well. I am officially hooked! Thank you Urban Decay for another amazing product! December 29, 2011In LOve ..product has soft and good texture Love every color ..im a kind of person who doesnt like to change the lip color and only use nude colors, but once i saw the other colors. I decide to try them .Love that it doesnt have that sticky thick texture , is soft blends in good in the lips. Once you purchse this product you wont regret buying it all ,you get what you pay for ,looks good on every skin color whick i love because im light brown skin and not all lip colors look good on me and this deff do look good on me. i own a lot of lip gloss but now this are only ones i use daily..ahh love them!! August 7, 2012It's not tacky! The only negative things I have to say about this product is that the outer cap ALWAYS breaks, I would prefer a brush applicator, and it doesn't last all day. Now, let's get to the good stuff. The texture is amazing. It's not tacky, and I'm sorry, but that is the worst thing that a gloss can be. It has a silky feel to it. It also smells great, which is the second factor in choosing a gloss. It lasts for about 4 hours, which is a lot longer than most glosses. The range of colors is excellent, and each color can easily be worn over a lipstick or lipstain. The color payout doesn't require it to be worn over anything, but I've noticed that it will stay on for a couple more hours that way. Strip is probably going to be my go-to Fall favorite. I absolutely love the color, and will probably use it all before it's actually Fall and need to buy a new one. August 7, 2012Lip Junkie couldn't be a more perfect name.... This gloss is non sticky, smooth, and the mint is an added plus. It distributes the right amount of shimmer and has awesome staying power. I am a lip junkie for sure! Please do not ever stop making this!! August 15, 2011Great Lip Gloss! I got a sample of the Lip Junkie in my Naked 2 Palette and will admit, that I was very hesitant to try it. I saw the cooling/plumping effect and was afraid to try it because of it. I know some lip glosses can be ridiculous with the whole plumping thing. But, I did finally, try it and I absolutely love this product now!! So much so, that I just went and bought a full size in Naked. It goes on well and has a pretty color. I love the minty smell it has the slight plumping action. It is a bit sticky, but I have never come across a lip gloss that isn't. This is probably one of the best ones I've ever tried. I have other brands similar in this color and all I wanted to use was Urban Decay's!! It's a great product! Definitely, worth getting! February 27, 2012A must have lip gloss I never know that lipgloss not only moist your lips but it can last long. Most of the lip gloss that I tried only last couple of hours even sometimes 1/2 hour. But this lipgloss last very long long hour. I tried it at night even I used it before I went to bed, I thought this lipgloss will fade away fast like other lipgloss but it stayed until the next morning and moist my lips too :), isn't it awesome. Everybody wants to have a long lasting lipgloss, help your lips and a safe product for their lips. I think this is the lipgloss that people have been waiting for. In some ways I do not like the squeeze tube, but it makes it easier to apply with one hand, versus conventional lip gloss that require the doe-foot or brush. I didn't like the flavor/plumping as much as other glosses. The mint is such a great idea and is inoffensively sweet, but I just didn't like the flavor. The plumping isn't that noticeable, but I get that sometimes you don't want such a dramatic look. Staying-power was alright, but for the price, it should last longer. It's moisturizing,pigmented,smell great like vanilla minty marshmallows and on top of that its not sticky! I love how handy this lipgloss is in the winter. I love these so much~ December 21, 2011lip balm junkie i can't stand for my lips to be dry. i was applying regular lip balm at least twice an hour. with lip junkie, i'll apply it maybe three times a day. this stuff not only outlasted an 80 minute workout, it withstood freezing temps. without cracking or glazing. absolutely no gummy, sticky residue that's standard with other glosses. i cannot say enough how awesome this stuff is - even after just a week, my lips already are looking healthier and my natural lip color is richer, too. just awesome! i will cry if urban decay ever discontinues this stuff. I didn't expect to like this product as much as I do. I needed a new darker gloss so I got it in "Perversion" to try it out. First off, the color is really beautiful. It's rich but not obtrusive. There is a great amount of sparkle which I didn't notice until I received it in person. It's fantastic by itself or over Lip Envy Lip stain which I also purchased and love! It does not burn like some of the other plumping glosses. It feels very cool and fresh when applied and doesn't have an overpowering flavor. I will be purchasing more of these! January 8, 2012Great everyday wear, non-sticky gloss! I have this lipgloss in the shade Naked, and it's a pretty wearable shade suitable for daily wear. When I go to work, I wear this, and it looks nice since it sharpens up my look, but it isn't loud! I love how it doesn't create the gunky buildup of dead skin some lip products may give- and the minty fresh feeling actually helps me identify if I've put it on all over my lips or if I've missed a spot! The pretty cap on the packaging is just the cherry on top! This shade would look super wearable with all types of outfits and all skin colours! April 16, 2012A lot of product in cute packaging. If you're looking at the price and wondering how much product you actually get, don't worry. It's a 10 ML tube, meaning the tube itself is only a little shorter than my hand in length. The means of delivery is through a squeeze top, but enough resistance is built in that it is not messy like some other squeeze top applicators can be. Does cute packaging affect the product's ability to work? Probably not. But it doesn't hurt. The tops on these have a really classy look, while still being practical. The gloss itself is a little thick, but it feels good on the lips. Due to the slight tacky, but not sticky, finish, the gloss should stay on fairly long when left alone. It's very shiny, has a nice but not overpowering taste, and gently cools to boot. April 16, 2012Great color, amazing texture. I hesitated from buying this lip gloss for a while because of its high price tag, but eventually I bought it in Runaway for homecoming. I must say, I love it! Like advertised, it has a nice texture and a yummy smell. The color is very buildable, ranging from a light peach sheen to a deep peachy-red. I can blend it easily too with some other lip glosses I have to give it a more wine color. The staying power is also very long. My only complaint about this project would have to be the packaging. The applicator that the lip gloss comes out of is a little small, and I find it difficult to get the gloss on my upper lip. Also, the squeeze bottle seems like it would lead to not being able to get all the gloss out. If you are on a very tight budget (like myself), I would only recommend buying this product for a special occasion. However, if you have a more loose budget, this is probably the best lip gloss out there. September 5, 2011I love the lip junkies When I first got one I was overwhelmed by the minty smell and by how sticky they were but I soon realized that I just put too much on! A little goes a long way and it stays on a long time because of the stickiness. I even love the light mint smell now. I have the colors Crush and Naked and they have great pigmentation for a lip gloss and I hope to be getting more colors soon. April 17, 2012Not the one on sale I am new to UD, I have never tried most of the products. I ordered the Runway color that was on sale to try it out. It's super sticky, Like I put my lips together and when I open them the gloss pulls away with my lips. I love the packaging, and after reading the reviews, honestly I am going to try another color. However, I found the gloss unfortunately sticky - so it's no good for puckering up and feels a lil' uncomfortable throughout the day. it also really dryed my lips out. :( Also the cute metal lid broke off the first time I used it, exposing some cheap, vaguely gross looking glue that won't come off on the standard cap beneath, and making the gloss a pain in the bum to open each time. January 8, 2012Great everyday wear, non-sticky gloss! I have this lipgloss in the shade Naked, and it's a pretty wearable shade suitable for daily wear. When I go to work, I wear this, and it looks nice since it sharpens up my look, but it isn't loud! I love how it doesn't create the gunky buildup of dead skin some lip products may give- and the minty fresh feeling actually helps me identify if I've put it on all over my lips or if I've missed a spot! The pretty cap on the packaging is just the cherry on top! This shade would look super wearable with all types of outfits and all skin colours! April 16, 2012A lot of product in cute packaging. If you're looking at the price and wondering how much product you actually get, don't worry. It's a 10 ML tube, meaning the tube itself is only a little shorter than my hand in length. The means of delivery is through a squeeze top, but enough resistance is built in that it is not messy like some other squeeze top applicators can be. Does cute packaging affect the product's ability to work? Probably not. But it doesn't hurt. The tops on these have a really classy look, while still being practical. The gloss itself is a little thick, but it feels good on the lips. Due to the slight tacky, but not sticky, finish, the gloss should stay on fairly long when left alone. It's very shiny, has a nice but not overpowering taste, and gently cools to boot. April 16, 2012Great color, amazing texture. I hesitated from buying this lip gloss for a while because of its high price tag, but eventually I bought it in Runaway for homecoming. I must say, I love it! Like advertised, it has a nice texture and a yummy smell. The color is very buildable, ranging from a light peach sheen to a deep peachy-red. I can blend it easily too with some other lip glosses I have to give it a more wine color. The staying power is also very long. My only complaint about this project would have to be the packaging. The applicator that the lip gloss comes out of is a little small, and I find it difficult to get the gloss on my upper lip. Also, the squeeze bottle seems like it would lead to not being able to get all the gloss out. If you are on a very tight budget (like myself), I would only recommend buying this product for a special occasion. However, if you have a more loose budget, this is probably the best lip gloss out there. September 5, 2011I love the lip junkies When I first got one I was overwhelmed by the minty smell and by how sticky they were but I soon realized that I just put too much on! A little goes a long way and it stays on a long time because of the stickiness. I even love the light mint smell now. I have the colors Crush and Naked and they have great pigmentation for a lip gloss and I hope to be getting more colors soon. April 17, 2012Not the one on sale I am new to UD, I have never tried most of the products. I ordered the Runway color that was on sale to try it out. It's super sticky, Like I put my lips together and when I open them the gloss pulls away with my lips. I love the packaging, and after reading the reviews, honestly I am going to try another color. Jamiee March 8, 2013Love Junkie is an awesome color, but this gloss needs work I love the look and tingle of Love Junkie and to a lesser extent, the nudes too. However, I found the gloss unfortunately sticky - so it's no good for puckering up and feels a lil' uncomfortable throughout the day. it also really dryed my lips out. :( Also the cute metal lid broke off the first time I used it, exposing some cheap, vaguely gross looking glue that won't come off on the standard cap beneath, and making the gloss a pain in the bum to open each time. I didn't think the hot pink would look good on me anyway, and it wasn't as bad as I expected but it felt like I put glue on my lips. I have never felt anything so sticky on my lips before. It was awful to get off too. I definitely do not recommend these at all. October 25, 2012Moisturizing and looks very natural Midnight cowboy is my all time favorite lip gloss in my collection. It smells amazing and does not dry my lips. The color is nude and looks very natural on my lips. It has bits of glitter in it which I also love. It makes me my lips look more "plump" as well. Before trying this product I never really cared for lip gloss or lip stick because I felt it was a hassle to deal with reapplying throughout the day. I received the color Naked with a purchase and now am hooked. This lip gloss looks great, lasts longer than expected, and is not overly sticky like some glosses I have tried before. The applicator makes it easy to apply, even when you don't have a mirror.
