Lips deserve the best so these are the must have! <3 February 17, 2012yummy i love this stuff,,it stays on and has a great taste February 21, 2012great product!! love this gloss!! a bit sticky but lasted for hours! June 11, 2012love last long! and they are not sticky!!! which I love! February 11, 2012I'm a Lip Junkie... junkie! Super soft to the touch and they taste super yummy! February 28, 2012Nice colour This lip gloss is so great. Love the colour. love! March 9, 2013Good stuff, but too much of a good thing ended up being bad for me... Was too sticky for my liking. Won't use again..... April 3, 2012Lip Junkie ... Wow, I have LIPs! What amazed me once I tried Lip Junkie, was that my lips popped! I've been staring at them for decades; worn lipstick, etc.; but it took UD's Lip Junkie to make me see how stunningly beautiful my lips were. Thank you Urban Decay! Lip Junkie is not sticky & the scent & flavour are delightful to me (not overpowering as I am sensitive to scent, but a yummy minty-vanilla). UD is absolutely correct in stating that Lip Junkie has plumping features (in addition to LJ not being sticky, etc.; i.e., no false advertising here). I have a very fair complection, wear cool palette colors, & rarely wear makeup (sensitive skin). If I do wear anything on the fly, it's mascara & Lip Junkie, because Lip Junkie has changed me completely. As fair as I am, I have: Jilted, Crush, Love Junkie, Runaway, & 2 other shades--a very barely there shade, & ... Advice: For work, wear a comfortable color, but at other times--wear a much darker shade then you're used to--because Lip Junkie can turn blah lips into sultry, mesmerising lips. As fair as I am, I love wearing Perversion--it puts the focus not only on my lips, but also on my eyes (even if I'm not wearing mascara). I highly Recommend Lip Junkie--It works as Advertised & I've never cared about a product more! January 4, 2013Favorite gloss ever I got the mini gloss in Naked when I purchased the Naked2 palette and I instantly fell in love with this product. When I misplaced that little mini sample, I had a little bit of a breakdown. I was really sad. So I bought the full size in Naked and, since it was on sale, I bought Runaway as well. Naked is a perfect nude neutral. Runaway is a really pretty peach color that looks pretty on my skin tone. Both colors are versatile and transformative with the use of lipliner. Naked with a nude or darker red, and Runaway with a pretty bright pink or cherry red. Now, what I love about the gloss is that it just feels nice on my lips and doesn't slide around and get sloppy or goopy. It has a yummy vanilla cupcake taste, which nicely tones down the peppermint oil in the gloss. The flavor lasts for about twenty minutes. As far as lasting power, it's pretty standard for a lip gloss. I like reapplying it, so I do that often, but I wouldn't say that it lasts through eating a powdered doughnut and a cup of coffee. I like the tube it comes in for two big reasons. The cap has a really cool die cut design in it, which makes it easy to grab from my purse if I have to find it by feeling around for it only, like if I'm driving or it's on the bottom of my purse mixed up with pens and lip liners and whatnot or I'm in a dark place. It seems silly, but I just love the cap. I also love the plastic applicator because it is easy to keep clean. If it gets gunky, I can dip it in alcohol and wipe if off, and I'm all good. I plan on trying out some more colors since I love the formula and packaging so much. I think the colors are described really nicely when ordering from the UD site. It gives me a better idea about the color than just trusting what I see. Overall, I love this product! March 10, 2013A gloss I like. I don’t like gloss. I love lipstick and things like it, including the Super Saturated Lip Pencils here, but I decided long ago that I hated gloss. It’s gummy, slippery, and makes me hyperaware of my lips. Like, the flavor and the texture squirming around on my mouth for however long/short it lasts always reminded me it was on. It would get licked, make my lips peel, and would travel outside my lip line very easily. If wind should blow or if I should do something strange (like move) my hair goes right for it. Nice. It makes my lips look wet. Some people are into that. I am not one of them. I’m an eyes person. I like to make my eyes the focal point of my face and rubbing slime all over my lips detracts from that effort. Finally, they’re really sheer. Even if they look like they have color in the tube, they’re fairly sheer when they’re applied. So now that I’ve thoroughly hate-banged lip gloss, allow me to explain why one tube of Lip Junkie is the only gloss I own and use regularly! A friend of mine strongly recommended it, sending me photos of her wearing it. She made it sound divine! So, figuring I could return it if it did what I expected, I ordered one in Jilted. I got Jilted (haaah) because it looked like one that would actually give me color and was one I liked. It’s a dark pink with purple-y glitter. In the tube, it looks BEAUTIFUL. I put some on and was pleased with the color (although I maintain it could be more prominent.) The plumping action was VERY mild. I was scared I’d look like I did one time when I had dental work done. Alas, no such issue occurred! Just a very light, tingly, minty, and GENTLE enhancement. I don’t know about that claim that it can lead to fuller lips over time because that sounds insane. But the plumping is good. I have decently full lips as it is, so I wasn’t going to judge harshly based on this quality! The texture is what makes it great. It’s much thicker than the apparently cheap glosses I’ve tried in the days of yore. It also thickens more with wear, but doesn’t become tacky or gummy. It has yet to grab my hair. I really like the thick texture quite a bit and I think the mild plumping, the thickness, the decent color payoff, and the beautiful color have made this the only gloss in my collection! March 5, 2013i love the lip junkie that cam in the naked 2 palette :) Urban Decay wants to know if you "want a super shiny gloss, but can't stand the sticky texture? Wait til you feel the soft, cushiony texture of this gloss! Lip Junkie stays put longer than other glosses, but never feels gummy or gooey. It comes in a range of pretty amazing shades and the color payout is amazing. Take your pick from sheer, pretty neutrals; or brights or glimmering near black." This little baby sized gloss contains 3.7ml (.13 oz). The full size contains 10ml (.34oz) and retails for $19. Urban Decay does not test on animals, but the brand was recently acquired by L'Oreal, so whether or not you consider them cruelty free is kinda your call, depending on your own personal ethical code. This lip gloss was made in America. Urban Decay products can be purchased through the brand's website, Sephora, Ulta, and select department stores. Packaging is unique and kinda stylin'. The slender squeeze tube is squared off at the bottom, giving it a really different shape from your traditional lip gloss tube. The tube is also made of a thicker type of plastic than usual, which is helpful because it prevents you from squeezing out too much product. Twisting off the purple plastic cap, which has a grey overlay with a filigree cutout design, reveals a soft and flexible slate tip applicator. The product name and Urban Decay logo can be found on the front of the tube; the shade name and some company info can be found on the back. My only complaint about this gloss's packaging is that the mini version is just so tiny! I'm always afraid of losing it. The formula of Urban Decay's Lip Junkie is kinda great. It really isn't sticky at all. The consistency is on the thinner side and very smooth, making it one of the most comfortable glosses I've ever used. This gloss is pretty long lasting, I can get about two hours of wear from it, even through eat, drinking, and of course, a lot of talking. Urban Decay's Lip Junkie has a light tingly feel to it, it's almost cooling. Pretty pleasant, in my opinion. Urban Decay describes this product as "wedding mint", but to me it's almost like a mint chocolate taste, which I really like. If you like minty lip products, that'll sell you on Lip Junkie alone. Naked is a nice color, definitely a "my lips but better" shade for me. Urban Decay calls Naked a "pinky neutral". Yeah, that's true. this shade is on the warmer side but only slightly. Naked has a kinda tan-beige under tone to it that keeps it more in the nude category, as opposed to pink. The color payoff for Naked is on the sheerer side. Naked is great for accenting my natural lip color, as opposed to giving them a whole new hue. Overall I really like Urban Decay's Lip Junkie in Naked! This isn't a product that I would've tried had it not been included with my beloved Naked2 palette. I really can't get find any true faults in this gloss. Packaging is cute and functional, it wears well and has a great formula.
