Perfect The BEST pallette at an amazing value. GO NAKED!!! March 12, 2013
Shimmer and Shine One of my favorite palettes, it's beautiful. I honestly debated on buying this for the longest time. I asked EVERYONE if I should buy it, I even took a poll on FB, and all my fashionista friends were like, 'it's a must have" and then UD was having a 20% off sale so I swooped in on the sale. Please note my fashionista friends, all different nationality - so you could imagine to my suprise that everyone was like, "it's the only platte I use now." When I received it #by the way it only took 3 days to receive it# But it was so nicely packaged and it included a travel size eye shadow potion, plus a free sample size lip gloss. But I loved it! I immediately tried on my eye shadow and man o' man a little goes a long way. If you're going to put on a darker shade, just note to self, a little goes a long way. But then again, I'm use to putting on subtle make up #which is why I bought this palette for it's neutral shades# but if you're going out at night, it's perfect! The lighter shades - ahhhhh love love love, wear them on a daily basis to work, out and about and even jogging #you still have to look semi-cute while jogging#. Yes, must have :) OH and it has a shimmer and shine to it, which makes you say YAY!!! And it makes you feel that much more pretty :) February 15, 2012
First time UD user is satisfied! My first review on one of the most coveted products known to the makeup world; the Naked palette. Really, as a first time UD user I am very impressed with this product. I've never used an eyeshadow with more of a silky, smooth feel than that of what's contained in this palette. I'm going to go on the opposing side of those who complain that there are not enough matte shadows and disagree. I think matte shades are fine for some, but for me they're too flat and don't make my eyes pop. I wear glasses so the shimmer shades really are a must. I've only used a few of the shades so far, but I really think my two favorites are going to be Half Baked on the bronze end and Gunmetal on the smokier side. I recommend this to any first-time UD user because not only do you get the pleasure of twelve shades to mix and match, but you also get to try out one of their other highly-rated products, the Eyeshadow Primer Potion and also one of their brushes as well. For me, my liking of this product was very critical not only because of the price, but because I am slowly but surely becoming an UD junkie, having also gotten a sample of the Glide-On Cheek Tint in Quickie and falling in love with that as well. Great gift or for spoiling yourself, this Naked palette does not disappoint. February 24, 2012
Gorgeous neutral palette The quality of the shadows is, as always, excellent. While my favorite eyeshadow colors are bright, shimmery, and usually sparkly, this palette reminded me how pretty neutrals can be, too. If I remember correctly, there are three matte colors (Virgin, Naked, and Buck) and the rest are shimmery. The range of colors creates an almost overwhelming possibility of looks. I got an earlier version that came with a duel-ended 24/7 eye pencil, which I love, but the brush that comes with it now would be great, too. Either way, you can use the slot for any eyeliner or brush for travel. The packaging is also high quality and a pleasure to look at. It closes with a magnet, so I wouldn't keep it in a bag that would let it tumble around (though the magnet is strong enough for normal use). The primer that comes with it is awesome. I use cheap eyeshadow as well as the expensive stuff (darn Urban Decay for getting me hooked! :P), and I haven't had a problem with creasing on any of them since I started using Primer Potion. This is completely worth the splurge. It's hard to describe the difference in quality between Urban Decay's shadows and other, less expensive brands, but once you try it you'll know what I'm talking about. The colors are richer and more vibrant and the texture is divine. July 28, 2011
Versatile and Fun! This was one of my first purchases of UD products, along with the Smoked Palette. I was absolutely SOLD the first weekend I had these. The Naked palette features that awesome brush (which was my very first "good quality" make-up brush) and such a gorgeous array of colors, from matte to shimmery finish. The pigment of each shade is amazing and has wonderful coverage - I have various skin problems and allergies, but the shadows do not bother my skin AND (Bonus!) stay put for an entire day when used with a little primer. I have used almost all of the colors in the palette at least a dozen times - there are endless possibilities in combination with other products and a little creativity. All in all, I am pleasantly surprised every time I use this palette, which is pretty much daily. It's an awesome buy. The price seems a bit high, if you're thinking along the lines of $50 is a lot. However, put into perspective, there are 12 shadows, a good quality brush, and a sample of lip gloss included, and in a really nice case. I think the only thing I like better about the Smoked Palette is that it's a zipper case, while the Naked palette is not, but that is a personal preference when comparing the two products structure. The Naked Palette doesn't flap open, nor have I had a problem with it being it my purse or luggage. March 5, 2013
Good for night and day use. Neutral colors are fabulous, pigmented and easy to blend. Does not crease on my oily lids. At first, I was hesitant to buy this product as it is way over my budget I alotted for cosmetics. I have a family to sustain and I thought that 50$ for an eye-shadow palette is way too much. However, I was convinced by the good reviews and blogs I found on different web-sites regarding this product. I thought about it a lot of times if I am going to purchase it or settle for a cheaper neutral eye-shadow palette from other brands. So, I finally decided to give it a try and bought the NAKED palette. From the first time I used it, I fell in-love with it! Loved the neutral color selections which I can wear day or night. The colors are pigmented and blends easily. The texture of the eye-shadow is really smooth and its something in between a powder and a cream. It doesn’t crease at all, which I really appreciate because I have monolid eyes. A little dab goes a long way. The brush and the eye-primer is an added bonus which I think is fabulous because if I brought them separately, it would cost me more. I am a frugal person and I seldom buy cosmetics which cost more than 30 bucks, however, this eye-shadow palette is an exception. Now I’ve been using it, I realized that the price is really worth the performance of this product. Love love love the NAKED palette. Kudos to Urban Decay for coming up with an excellent eye-shadow palette. February 16, 2012
Favorite Palette for Everyday Before the summertime last year, I finally got my hands on the Naked palette. I was glad that the visual tease I put myself through after watching countless tutorials with this on YouTube was finally over. I'm sure we have all been there; we scope out online beauty stores that carry our favorite products and sign up for notifications when our product is out of stock. When it's available again, we snatch up quickly, jumping up and down when we beat the rush before it sells out again. This was exactly me when I ordered my Naked palette. Besides the 88 palettes you can order online, the Naked palette was my first real makeup palette from a major beauty company. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and can take your makeup from day to night. All but two of the colors (Naked and Buck) are shimmery or glittery. My favorite colors from the palette would have to be Smog, Darkhorse, Naked, and Virgin. I especially loved this palette for the very popular bronzy look of the summer, but this palette is very versatile for all seasons. The Naked Palette has very rarely been excluded from my makeup bag; I take it along with me everywhere, even if I'm not wearing much but brows and lip gloss that day. The Naked palette is definitely one of my stable products and for 12 pigmented, neutral and smoky shades, the price fits this palette. I highly recommend this product to everyone. January 31, 2012
So compact and easy to pull a look together. I LOVE this product! I got it last summer and I never stopped using it since! I only had a few eye shadows before this and I had been eyeing this palette for months. I resisted because of the price but the quality and color selection took over me. For school in the mornings, I would always go inside digging through my bags looking for appropriate eye shadows. But with this palette, the only decision I had was what looks to do with the colors. Favorite colors: Sidecar, Buck , and Virgin. These are my favorite because first, Sidecar, is my favorite taupe color I've ever had out of my entire collection. The only reason why it's not my favorite eye shadow of all time is because of the obnoxious glitter... Buck is the most amazing crease color, it's the perfect mocha matte color, I love to use it with Sidecar to manage the intensity of Sidecar's glitter and Buck's matteness. Virgin is the only appropriate highlight color in the palette and it's between a satin texture and a matte texture and I usually don't like to use really glimmery shadows in my browbone hightlight but this is perfect. Least favorite colors: Naked and Creep. Naked I only dislike because it's my exact color of eyelid, so it doesn't show up. Creep is a dark-greyed glitter black that I don't like because it's not considered a black in my dictionary. All in all, get it! It's so worth your time and money! February 8, 2012
Awesome Shadows I am a 66 year old woman who loves this color palette....it has endless possibilities. I know that some senior women refuse to use anything but matte shadows but I don't find that it's too sparkley. There are a couple shadows that are a bit more sparkley than others and probably should be used for evening only. I love the beautiful sheen and brightening affect the eye shadows give your eyes. I don't find that the sheen makes my eyes look any older than the matte ones but the brightening effect lights up your eyes and adds a youthful glow. There are also matte shadows that you can use also. All of the shades are georgeous! I love the fact that the pigments are excellent and the shadow stays for hours without fading or creasing like most shadows. The only downside as with all shadow use other than creams is that you have to be careful and tap your brush slightly to get off the excess otherwise it might flake on your newly applied makeup. The brush that is included with the palette is better than any of the brushes I have for applying the shadow perfectly. Also, the primer that is included with the palette is also the most awesome product I have ever used! I have oily eyelids and my shadow always has creased in the past after only a couple of hours, but with this shadow and primer my shadow looks fresh and stays for 9 to 12 hours....awesome! Overall this palette and primer are the bomb! I would definitely repurchase. March 5, 2013
i went from the girl who could never wear browns to the girl who can never live without this palette i never thought i was a natural or neutral make up kind of girl. i only ever wore bright rainbow colors on my eyes and lips, and if i didn't wear glitter people thought i was having an off day. i even once told a mua that i just couldn't look good in natural make up: it wasn't me. i ignored the hype on this palette for a long time. i thought my skin was too pale for browns. i thought browns were boring and that they would age me. when i finally bought this palette i couldn't believe how wrong i had been. the range of shades absolutely fulfills my need to wear my make up differently every day. the palette is versatile, the colors are beautiful, the texture is creamy and divine, and the shadows blend perfectly. the shimmer in them more than amply covers my need to stand out and shine. wearing these shadows doesn't make me feel aged at all, they make me feel youthful, sultry, and make me feel like my natural beauty is enhanced. now there isn't a day that goes by that i'm not using this palette. the naked shadow is even the perfect everyday color for my brows, and buck is great for days i want them to be bolder. this palette has even stayed with me through multiple hair color changes, from platinum blond, to strawberry blond, to my current deep ginger red. how much do i love this product? i've even converted my 49 year old mother, who never liked wearing eyeshadow, into a naked palette fanatic. this palette is the one beauty product i simply can never live without! Endless combinations of gorgeous looks! First off let me just praise how much I love Urban Decay products! They go on effortless and create beautiful and natural looks. The Naked Palette has an endless combination of gorgeous looks. I was so pleased to see all the neutral shades along with the shimmery shades as well. I was so happy to see Toasted in the palette because it is by far my favorite of all faves! It just has a beautiful sheen natural look to it that I cannot get enough of! I love combining it with the matte shade Naked and Buck for just a touch of shimmer. I absolutely love using the Sin Primer, apply Sin shadow on top of the primer all over the lid, then use the Toasted shadow for a smokey eye look, and to finish it off I love using the Virgin shade in the inner tearduct of my eyes and upper brow bone to give a finished look. I love shine and I love matte. For the matte look I love combining just the Naked and Buck colors and apply the 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner in Zero in my water line and use the Liquid Eyeliner in Roach on my upper lash to give a dramatic cat eye look. I hope you enjoy this product as much as I do because it has so many different ways you can bring out your natural beauty! I love finishing all these looks off with just Mascara, some Lip Junkie Plump Lip Gloss in Wallflower and head out the door! I also absolutely love the darker shades for those girl night out looks. I especially love CREEP AND GUNMETAL and VIRGIN being used together for a rocker-chic look. Lets just say, I love NAKED! February 14, 2012
Seriously Versatile This is the best eye shadow palette i have ever used! i cannot say enough great things about these gorgeous shades. every one is so long lasting and pigmented to perfection. i was hesitant aboput making such an expensive purchase, but after the first use i was completely sold and knew every penny that was spent was well worth it. all the shades mix so beautifully together that you probably wouldnt have to use the same color combination for two weeks or more. they are all so gorgeous and compliment alot of skin tone and eye colors which is hard to find in a makeup. the compact design is wonderful for women on the go because its so slender it can fit right into a gym bag or a small purse and not take up alot of space. the primer is awesome because it doesnt get sticky or goopy like some other products i have used previously and dries reasonably fast. not quite sure if the color says on so well because of the primer or because of the high quality pigments themselves, but my color never rubs or smears off taking me from morning to night effortlessly by just adding a nice dark color over what is already on. the brush is good for using as a concealer brush, i however do not use it for the actual shadow applicaion process because its a little too stiff and doesnt pick up enough color for my liking, but ive found another use for it, so overall the naked palette is amazing! i cannot wait to get my hands on the second palette that just came out, itll be well worth a trp to another state! February 17, 2012
amazing and for any level of makeup wearing this palette is the absolute best out there for purchase; the hype is not undeserved. the pigment is amazing; you will never find a shade by UD that lacks pigment. this was my first palette by UD and i use it almost every day (i honestly only switch to other UD palettes when I want more color). there is a wide variety of neutrals that just don't have duplicates by any other brand. my favorites are sin, sidecar, half baked, toasted and creep. You can get gentle, 'no-makeup' eyes or super pearly, dewy bright eyes. you can create smokey looks and super dramatic looks. the brush is high quality and one that i use absolutely every day and with all of my eyeshadow by any brand. it packs on a perfectly even, pigmented shadow with a simple pat-motion. anyone with any level of makeup experience will love this palette because it can be used in any way without difficulty. more experienced individuals will find a greater variety with creating looks and an endless range. i love this palette a lot and will pick up a second any time i am close to hitting pan. another great aspect of this palette is that i've been wearing this almost every day for six months and am nowhere close to needing another one, and i do full-on eye makeup (shadow from lashes to brow) every day. one more thing- sidecar is my absolute favorite shade. some people complain of glitter fallout, where it ends up on your face, but simply dip the brush in the shadow, tap it twice, and then apply it to your eye. this will prevent glitter fallout. January 31, 2012
I Bought into the Hype It seemed like everyone and their cats had this product. My friends and the online Beauty Gurus all rave about this palette. I bought into the hype and got one for myself. I am sorely disappointed because I feel like it is overrated. And I am so sad to write this because I am fan of a lot of their other products: liners, primer, oil control, concealers. This is my first palette experience with them. The first issue is sheerness. The colors, no matter what type of brush I use picks up very sheer, and will take 5 layers before you see color. (The included brush is useless) The next issue the fallout. I shimmery colors clump and fall out on my cheeks. The colors are also too glittery. People have said you can make an "everyday" look with this palette. It depends on where you are going everyday. I can't see this as being an everyday wear if you work in professional setting. If you have a casual job, some colors may be okay to wear without looking like you are too glittery. I very much wanted to FALL IN LOVE and make this my go- to palette. However, even with the primer, the color is not deep enough. Also, because of the hype, I may have been open to try more glittery and "out there" makeup. The claim that "this is anything but neutral" is correct- it is flashy, sparkly, & glittery; a club girl's dream. This is definitely more for weekend wear. I can't see this at a law firm, Fortune 500 or any professional setting. I am returning this and exchanging it for the Smoked Set, which I hope will be a little more sophisticated. February 17, 2013
My miracle. This is the most magical thing in the world! It's love at first sight for me. Because I am just a university student with no part time job, I do not really have the luxury to spend as I will. But when i first saw the Naked palette, I just had to have it and told myself that this would be an investment. Indeed, indeed! The best decision I've ever made! For an oriental girl, my skin is slightly tanner than most and I don't usually suit most of the colorful eye shadows (as that from the Book of shadows) which can be rather frustrating. Hence, why I was exhilarated with this find. The colors are perfect for my skin tone and this has been my go to eye shadow, heck, I use it everyday! The quality is amazing, no need to dab a lot for the color to show and the colors usually last me the whole day. It is so convenient and portable, I can easily bring it everywhere in my handbag, rather than bringing pots of eye shadows, plus the mirror is very useful especially when you're getting your make up done on the train, etc. My favorite palette is 'Buck', it's light enough for a day smokey eye look but not too light that it blends completely with my skin. And I also love to use 'Sin' under my eyebrows and on my tear duct to brighten up my eyes on a night out, it adds the right amount of sparkle to my eye make up. Overall, you would not regret getting this especially if you have a slightly tan skin tone (olive) like me. You can go from day nude/neutral eyes to night sexy smokey eyes with just one purchase. I've recommended this to a lot of my friends and they loved it too. March 15, 2012
Overall Amazing!!! I remember when I first started looking into Urban Decay and decided that the Naked palette was an absolute must have. However, it was Christmas season of 2010 and needless to say, I could not find it anywhere. It was sold out online and in stores. But I did not give up, I signed up to be alerted by e-mail when the product would finally return and am so glad that I waited. It is by far my favorite palette, most versatile too. It's a little bit expensive for what I normally spend on make up but is so worth it. The product I received came with a small bottle of primer potion and a double ended 24/7 eyeliner pencil in Zero/Whiskey. Let me tell you, these items are heaven sent. The primer potion never fails in keeping the eyeshadow crease-free and vibrant hours later from the moment I first apply the make up. The 24/7 pencil it came with glided on smoothly, no tugs, and lasted for hours. All three of these products combined create the perfect combo for creating a look that can be worn during the day or at work, or for going out at night. Any kind of look can be created using this palette from natural or girl next door to sultry and sexy. Perhaps what I love most about this product, besides its versatility, is its quality. The pigmentation is amazing and I find that I don't have to make any touch ups throughout the day. The look and feel is overall superior to any other make up brand that I have tried. I know that I have probably written a book by now, but I just wanted to be able to convey how immensely I love the Naked palette. Thank you, Urban Decay, for creating this wonderful product for me to experience! February 28, 2012
Love it. LOVE IT! Love it. This palette totally lived up to the hype! I swatched every color from both Naked palettes in order to decide which one to get, thinking I had already made up my mind to get Naked2. To my surprise, I found that I liked Naked (at the time) much better than Naked2! I thought the colors in Naked would be too warm for my very pale Irish skin, but there are only two colors (Half Baked and Smog) that I have to be careful with. If I use too much HB or if I use both HB and Smog together, the look is too warm for me. If I use Smog without HB, though, it's fine. Naked and Buck are quintessential matte nude/brown colors that help create a great understated, professional look, and Virgin is a great matte highlighter. Sin is probably my favorite color in the palette, though. it's the perfect starting point for any shimmery look or for adding a little extra something to an understated look. I also love Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep and Gunmetal and use them all the time. Hustle, Creep and Gunmetal are great for the crease or for creating a smokey eye. The colors are all highly pigmented, creamy, blendable and extremely easy to work with. So easy, in fact, that I've been wearing makeup to work every day - which I've never done before! I can't help you decide between Naked and Naked2 (although I highly recommend swatching both on the inside of your forearms to see which will work better for you), but for the quality and the price, you just can't afford to miss out on these palettes. BTW, I've swatched Naked2 again since I bought this palette, and now I can see how different they really are. I'm totally sold on this one, but I'm definitely planning on getting Naked2 as soon as I can! February 29, 2012
it is worth the money This is probably one of the best neutral eyeshadow palettes that are available on the market as part of a permanent collection. Given, it's so high in demand that I wouldn't exactly call it "available", I have seen it now and then in Sephora stores before it flies off the shelf. Now as for the palette, the colours are all very pigmented and soft. I found the colours much more wearable than other UD palettes (especially the Book of Shadows, as much as I love them) as they are, well, not only neutral shades but also because they are not glittery. Most of the shadows in this palette are metallic, with 2 matte shades. Personally, I would've liked to see more of the matte shadows but that's just a personal preference. It is more suitable for the office worker as the colours aren't too bright or glittery. These shadows are all very blendable and easy to work with. For anyone not familiar with UD's 24/7 liners, the black and brown liners are soft and glides on with ease. It is pigmented and remains smudgable for about a minute. After than, when sealed with a dusting of shadow, it should stay put for hours until removed. The mini primer potion is a good way to test the primer before buying the full sized one, which you would probably want to do since the sample doesn't last long. It's a great product that helps the shadows appear more vibrant and extends their staying power. Overall, a great value and I would highly recommend it for anyone. The packaging is also not too bulky, being slim and narrow making it the perfect palette to bring for travel or slip into your purse to bring to work. Be careful though, these eyeshadows are highly addictive and you may be finding yourself wanting to buy a back up. January 31, 2012

I always find myself reaching for this palette when im in dire need of an amazing natural eye, smokey eye, or just want to find what else this versatile pallete can create. You can go so many ways with this pallete including matte neutrals, and shimmering shades. K-Keeps getting better! Have you heard about the naked 2 palette? Beautiful soft looks or smoldering sexy looks, all can be achieved with this Palette!! Exceptional! The Naked Palette was a surprise to me because initially I was not interested. The colors seemed very similar and a little of what I already had. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! I decided to buy it after trying out my sister's Naked Palette. The colors are really versatile, they give you a soft look that is conservative or you can switch it up and have a bold, sexy, smoldering look!! They have a nice variety of Matte and Shimmery shades so you can build your look however you want. The colors really blend together beautifully but each one is completely different. Mine came with a duo eyeliner or if you bought it later on it now comes with a brush. Both are really equivalent, although I read that the brush itself is worth over $30 dollars..what a fabulous deal!! I am really happy with the 24/7 duo eyeliner mine came with because you really can't find any better eyeliner with any company. You can purchase the eyeliner separately and I really recommend it. It also comes with the primer potion...you can never have enough of the primer potion. It helps to sustain your eyeshadow without any creasing and in addition makes the colors brighter and more vibrant. The primer potion is not irritating and really helps to keep your eyeshadow looking like you just put it on. The price of this palette is really phenomenal for what it is offering, if you though this palette is not really your taste because of the neutral shades...think again!! Some of my favorites are smog, gunmetal, sin, darkhorse, sidecar...in reality I love them all! The pigmentation is fabulous, I have had it for months and have used it countless times and have hardly made a dent! YAY! SO I SAY.....PICK IT UP!! I am really happy I purchased this palette.....I'm sure if you pick one up, you will too =) August 24, 2011
Every bit of what I'd expect from Urban Decay. On Urban Decay's Naked palette: As I am a smoky eyes and brights kind of girl, it took me a while to get with the Naked hype, but I must say that the original Naked palette is worth every bit of the high praise have heard of it. I absolutely love it. Mind you, I got the original Naked and the Naked 2 palettes at the same time, for about a month now, but from the first use I realized that Naked would be the hands-down and undisputed winner for me over the Naked 2, and that being said, I'll keep this review all about the Naked palette from here on out. The Naked palette, did I already say that I absolutely love it? Yes, I did, but I had to say it again. Why do I absolutely love it? Easy. For starters, the packaging is sleek and sexy, and the enclosed brush is quite useful, but the shadows, oh, the shadows! They are fantastic! They apply so smoothly, and blend easily to a sensual, silky finish, and the pigmentation is beyond compare, every bit of what I'd expect from Urban Decay. However, what makes me adore the Naked palette is the color selection; the range of colors in the Naked palette are deeper, lusher, warmer, more of a bronzed effect. From the highlight colors Virgin and Sin to the midtones like Sidecar and Half Baked to the deepest shades of Gunmetal and Creep, this palette has complete versatility, and I really like that, as I have been able to create endless looks from simple to smoky. Also, this palette may be a stand-alone palette, but I can use it to apply a gradient base for either a deeper, darker color or a brighter, more playful color. The Naked palette has definitely made my makeup routine more streamlined and easier overall, and I am definitely going to stick with it. Thank you, Urban Decay, for making such a useful and beautiful palette! March 10, 2013
Original Naked Palette = Love and hate I have a love and hate relationship with the original Naked Palette. The first things that come to mind when I think of the Naked Palette are: shimmer/metallic shades, few matte shades, warm colors, and "muddy" effects when blending, disco-ball results. WHAT I LIKE: I do enjoy the warm, neutral colors...they are beautiful. Twelve beautiful shades to choose from and mix and match to one's delight. The product is VERY SOFT and creamy, very pigmented shades, lots and lots of shimmer. I often find myself using the colors Virgin, Naked, Buck, Darkhorse, and Creep the most. The packaging is travel friendly, and compact and small. I love the velvet exterior and the brush is decent as well. The product is long-lasting, especially when paired with Urban Decay's Primer Potion. Blending these eyeshadows is VERY EASY, almost too easy. WHAT I DON'T LIKE: I am not a Pro Makeup Artist and I'm sure my technique of application and blending could be improved. With that said, I tend to achieve "muddy-like" effects when mixing and blending a variety of shades from the palette. Its not flattering on maturing eyes. The intense shimmery/metallic shades are not flattering on maturing eyes. Lots of "fallout" with this palette which is wasteful in the end. Make sure to tap off the excess product on your brush before applying or use your finger to apply. Not enough matte shades in this palette and too many shimmery. WHAT I'D LIKE TO SEE: An all matte palette. Please make one Urban Decay. I'd love to see matte versions of these colors in this palette. OVERALL: I would not purchase this palette again. I would not recommend it to anyone with aging eyes. However, I would purchase some shades individually on their own. I have not purchased the Naked 2 palette, as of yet. And, I am hesitant to buy the Naked 2 palette because of my experience with Naked 1. May 3, 2012
A must have palette, but not the only one you'll ever need. I LOVE the Naked palette. I love every single shade. All of them (like mostly all of UD eyeshadows) are super pigmented, soft, rich and long wearing. With 12 gorgeous neutrals, you can really do SO many looks with this one palette, it's really versatile and one of the best values for a palette I can think of. A majority of the shades are regular UD shades that are either permanently available or have been released before, 5 are new shades. So, one down side to this palette is that you may very well already have all or most of the previously available shadows if you've been buying UD for some time. I held off on buying this for a long time because I already had a bunch of the shades. There are only 2 matte shades, and I feel like the addition of one more matte in either a dark brown or a cream would have made this palette much more complete. I would have traded Smog or Toasted probably to have a dark matte brown. If you have light or medium brows, you could probably travel with this as your one eyeshadow palette and use Naked or Buck as a brow filler and you'd be set. The packaging is awesome, I love the velvet cover and magnetic closure. I haven't had an issue with it coming open or anything but I haven't traveled with it. My only other issue with this palette is that it doesn't come with the 24/7 liners anymore, instead it comes with a Good Karma shadow brush that I don't love. It's a flat shadow brush that you would use to pack color onto the lid, it's just a little too slick and smooth bristled for my liking. I do use it a fair amount for different things but I would have much preferred the dual 24/7 liners it used to come with. All in all, I think this really could be considered a must have, and I would choose this over Naked 2 if I could only have one. I prefer the warmer colors in this palette, and not one of them is a boring shade. March 11, 2013

What an amazing product! N-A-K-E-D This is such an amazing product! The naked palette has made such a huge impact on women around the world. Not only can you create an unbearblle smokey eye with this palette but it is also great for many other creative looks aswell. The pallete itself is made beautifully and each signle eyshadow inside is packed carefully to last you for a very long time. A- Always a favorite. This pallete is well worth it for everything included and has been a staple in my everyday makeup look and collection. February 15, 2012
