I do not recommend this but I spent 2 days on the road with out removing my eye make up and when I finally reached my destination, I looked in the mirror and realized my eye shadow was a bright and crease free as the day I put it on. I will never buy another eye shadow primer other than UD's Eyeshadow Primer Potion. The travel size is absolutely perfect for on the go. I have tried this travel version too, in "Sin" shade, because I found it in the Black Palette, altough I have already tried the original shade I prefer this one because it can be used as concealer too, as far as it is a bit coloured. The eye makeup really lasts hours with this - if you apply it well you'll never have to worry about creases, smudges and else.. The only thing I didn't like is that it is a bit too fair even for my fair skin (probably because I have heavy dark circles and so the difference is relevant). Otherwise it's perfect and I still use it with no problems, but I'd like to try the "Eden" shade (hopefully it fits my eyelid colour better). I received a sample of the original shade with my first UD order. I have sensitive skin but based on the reviews already on the site, decided to give the product a try. I was delighted to find that it feels wonderful going on, does not feel sticky or heavy, does not irritate my skin and keeps eyeshadow in place for a good 24 hours. I feel asleep with my makeup on and not only did it not rub off all over my pillows, I had to use makeup remover to get get the eyeshadow off. I bought the travel size during a recent sale and it lived up to the promise of the sample. I thought I would save this for special occasions, but I find I've started using it every time I wear eye makeup. March 7, 2013Good Shadow Enhancer I own two of these minis and I must say that this primer is a really good eyeshadow enhancer. It adds depth and dimension to the actual eyeshadow shade and the difference is clearly noticeable. I noticed that the shadows stays on longer with this primer. It works well not just with UD shadows but also other brands. I just wish there was a greater amount of product in each bottle as I had to put some effort to get it out. The primer shade nicely blends with my Asian skin tone. I am not sure what the actual shades are are as my minis came as part of two different UD eye makeup sets. In any case, I will recommend this product to anyone interested in adding life to their eye-makeup! March 8, 2013Best Primer! I truly believe this is the best eyeshadow primer on the market! UD has many amazing products, this one included. My eye shadow always stays right where I put it throughout the entire day. I just got my package from UrbanDecay.com and I had to try it out! So here's the thing, I have this other, cheaper brand eyeshadow palette. I like the colors but the problem always was because it wasn't a high quality product, the eyeshadow would not stay on. So, I got the primer hoping it would help the problem. AND IT DID!! I am impressed that the Urban Decay Primer Potion does not only work well with UD Eye shadows, but also works well with lower quality products!! Woo hoo!! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I haven't yet tried the product on my eyelids. This experiment was only done on the back of my hands. But I have no reason to believe it wouldn't work on my eyes as well. October 19, 2012Eye shadow glue! I got this eyeshadow primer when I bought the Naked palette and I've been trying to save it up, because I love it so much! I try to use it every time I wear a stronger make-up, a concept of make-up design. And the primer really does make a difference, at the end of the night, I will still have a clean make-up design on my eyes, and that's all you can really ask for from a primer! Besides, it's size is great to have on your purse, or travel bag! My only concern I had with this little primer, was that at the end of the product, sometimes you couldn't really get to the primer as well, because of the package, it isn't an easy to squeeze tube. The new Urban Decay primer has taken care of that problem! March 11, 2013100% AMAZING This is the only primer I will ever use! I have tried all of the shades, but the original is my all time favorite. NOTHING else compares to this primer. Its super creamy, blends well, and prolongs the wear of any shadow. No creasing. August 7, 2012Could be better I bought this a while ago and have only used it a few times. I like this product but at the same time it doesn't blow me away in terms of quality. You could find a cheaper product to do the same if not better than this primer. Getting it out of the bottle is difficult with the brush and you have to continuously dip it in and pull it out, I'd recommend trying the little tubes of it instead. It's creamy and easily blendable and does make shadows last longer and intensifies them a little bit but I'm not sure if I'd buy this again, however I would recommend it to someone else. March 5, 2013Almond of my EYE I actually received this travel size eyeshadow primer potion with my naked palette and I thought I wouldn't try it until the rest of my other primer from a different make up brand was done. When I finally tried it, I was thrilled with the results. I am Asian, and I have fairly oily olive skin, I also live in a very wet (rain and snow) area with lots of wind, and this did not wipe off any of my eye make up. It was great, there weren't any creases or anything, which was great especially for almond eyes like mine. I would definitely say TRY it out, it'll make you a believer. February 15, 2012Good things come in small packages I'm not sure I understand the last two peoples reviews. All these products are, are minis of the originals. I LOVE the originals. They aren't greasy. IF you let it dry, it keeps your make up in place ALL day long and makes sure your make up doesn't run. I would know, I have oily skin and it's even worse in the summer on a 100 degree subway platform in humid NYC heat. I love these little travel bottles. They are super cute and good for my travel make up kits, and leave more room for other make up. I'm not the biggest fan of the wand though as it get stuck in the bottle. August 7, 2011I hate Urban Decay Primer Potion I ordered both to see what all the hype was about. ITS A GREASY ! like insanely greasy. I put it on my eye, then used the urban decay naked palette. After I rubbed my eye to see if they stay, it came off. So after I decided why not see if it will crease so I applied the next day and went to school. I didnt go to gym because I had a pass and by the end of the day, my eyeshadow has creased and faded like I was wearing nothing on my eyes. This eyeshadow primer is definitely the best one there is! I have tried a lot of eye primers but they don't work as awesome as this does. I have pretty oily skin and my eyelids tend to be oily aswell. I also have monolids or most commonly known as asian eyes--and, it is quite hard to wear eyeshadow and eyeliner without it smudging all over and sliding of the eyes. I tried this out when I got the NAKED (1) palette and since then, I have been reaching for this everyday or everytime I do my makeup. This does what an eyeshadow primer is suppose to do! A little bit goes a very long way. It does a great job of keeping shadow and liner from creasing or smudging and also works well to keep under-eye concealer in place. I typically don't wear makeup during the day but when I go out at night, I always use this beforehand and sometimes I fall asleep without taking my makeup off (I know, I know, shame on me) but when I wake up my makeup looks just about as good as it did when I put it on the night before. It doesn't go on greasy or dry too quickly and you only need a minimal amount of it to get the desired effect. This is a great product for any makeup level and a must for eyeshadow lovers. So I waited and kept putting it off; until I decided, eh might as well try the travel size! I'm gonna have to get the original size soon! It makes eyeshadows pop even when they aren't of the best quality. It helps mattes look darker, flakes fewer, and makes even the crapiest of eyeshadows dazzle! You also don't have to worry about the color showing, because the primer blends right with your natural skin color. the If you want to try the primer, but don't want to spend about $18, then I highly recommend getting the travel size. The only problem I find with it is that it was a strange smell. The only thing I would recommend, is only purchasing this size for traveling purposes. April 24, 2012Perfect for Travel I just want to say that these aren't glue, even using this if you rub your eyes hard your makeup will come off, like the first reviewer did. You have to wait for the primer to get slightly tacky before applying your makeup over it. I reviewed the primer itself under both the tube and bottle, but I wanted to mention that these are great for throwing in a purse, just in case you find yourself applying your makeup on the go. The wand does get stuck in the tube when you open it, but pulling a little harder pulls it out no problem, it won't break off. August 11, 2011I think UDPP is voo-doo magic Simply the best... I've tried all four versions and love them all. Original formula - Blends into your skin tone. Light and feels great but absorbs oil like no other. This is my favorite. A little goes a lonnngggg way. Eden - My least favorite. I think it's more runny and it's easy to get too much product and then it takes awhile to blend. I use this if I want to make sure any blue-tones in my eyelid are (more) camouflaged. It really doesn't take much of this product to get the nice smooth look, so a travel size will last you awhile! In fact, I think it works best when you don't put that much on your lid. Highly recommend! I've been trying so many eyeshadow primers, but none of them have the staying power or the anti-crease performance than Urban Decay's primer potion. Whether I'm going out to the city, the beach, ice skating, or a wedding, I can trust that this primer will keep my eyeshadow looking fresh and vibrant all day long. The packaging is extremely cute! the applicator makes it really easy to apply even for application under your lower lash line. It is really easy to blend and does not have a tint to interfere with your eyeshadows. The eyeshadow really sticks onto the eyelid after application of the primer and it really helps prevent creasing. It's like I've just put on my eyeshadow even after 5 hours of wearing! Overall, great quality and I highly recommend. March 10, 2013Not for people with oily skin. Right after I apply this product, I allow it to dry for a minute or two. Then, after applying shadow, it immediately grabs onto the pigment and does its job. But I have noticed that throughout the day, I still have creases on my lids and my eyelids have once again become oily. It's nice and creamy and you only need a little bit to blend into lids and it acts as a color corrector too. It's like a concealer and a primer in one! I've been trying so many eyeshadow primers, but none of them have the staying power or the anti-crease performance than Urban Decay's primer potion. Whether I'm going out to the city, the beach, ice skating, or a wedding, I can trust that this primer will keep my eyeshadow looking fresh and vibrant all day long. The packaging is extremely cute! the applicator makes it really easy to apply even for application under your lower lash line. It is really easy to blend and does not have a tint to interfere with your eyeshadows. The eyeshadow really sticks onto the eyelid after application of the primer and it really helps prevent creasing. It's like I've just put on my eyeshadow even after 5 hours of wearing! Overall, great quality and I highly recommend. March 10, 2013Not for people with oily skin. Right after I apply this product, I allow it to dry for a minute or two. Then, after applying shadow, it immediately grabs onto the pigment and does its job. But I have noticed that throughout the day, I still have creases on my lids and my eyelids have once again become oily. I do tend to have oily skin, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend this product to those with oily skin. February 27, 2012How Did I Ever Live Without This!? I have never used a primer for my eyeshadows..until my brother bought me this as a Christmas present. I CANNOT live without this product anymore! I once put it on in the morning and by the end of my busy day I fell asleep with my makeup on..I woke up the next morning and my eyeshadow looked just as fresh as it did when I first put it on! It's a great product because its true on what it says on the description, makes the eye shadow long-lasting, crease-proof and vibrant. August 9, 2012Eden is wonderful Sometimes I get red itchy eyelids due to environmental allergies, and when that happens I reach for Eden. It's nice and creamy and you only need a little bit to blend into lids and it acts as a color corrector too. It's like a concealer and a primer in one!
