I work really long hours and have very oily skin (and eyelids) this primer works wonderfully and helps me save a lot of time going to touch up my makeup. It also allows me to wear colored (not just neutral) eyeshadows because I don't have to worry about them creasing anymore. Very easy to use only takes a second. You will have tons of product left in unreachable places if you don't cut it open in the end, but if you don't mind the extra work, you will get a lot more for your money. It's definitely smaller and goes way faster. Even though, yes, it's travel size, it is still the only primer I use baca use I can trust in it to get the job done well without problem. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends, infact I do! February 20, 2012thank god for the new packaging :) LOVE IT!! You only need a small amount to cover eye area, goes on smooth and makes for a smoother eye shadow application too. I used quo eye shadow for my first time using it and was amazed at how vibrant this primer made the purple shadow look. Put it on at 4 pm then worked a midnight shift and at 7 am the next morning, I looked in the mirror and was amazed at what I saw! No creasing, shadow had began to fade but looked a million times better than it normally did and my cheap gel eye liner was still as vibrant as when I first put it on! I work in a long term care facility so even on a midnight shift I'm still running around like a crazy person and they keep it about 82 degrees on a good day (old people get cold apparently!), so needless to say I sweat my buns off and by the end of the shift my makeup is normally melted right off, but not with this primer. It really is magic in a bottle, will never go without this product again! I highly recommend it to any one looking for an amazing primer! I have been using this travel size primer everyday for about a month and a half, and there is still product left! February 8, 2012Best Primer I have tried I recently got this size when I ordered my Naked palette, and I must say this is a great product. I have only tried a couple different primers, and this is the best. I tested out to longevity of the wear of it. After 11 hours, I had no creasing, and my shadow was still completely in tact. So instead what I do is put on a thin layer of the primer and then put a thin layer of a fat white liner pencil on top and I have perfect all day eyeshadow! Like the travel size. March 5, 2013new primer potion tube packaging much better This eye shadow primer was my first exposure to Urban Decay. It intensifies shadows so much so that you don't need to use as much product to get the shade you want (which ultimately saves you money on shadows). The problem I have with this is the packaging. I have both the original tube (that comes with a "wand") and the new tube (where you can squeeze the primer out). I recommend getting the newer primer over this because the "wand" that comes with this product doesn't apply the product as well as if you were to apply the primer directly onto your eye (as you would with the new packaging). I feel as though I don't get a lot of product on the wand when I apply. Because of the lack of application, the primer doesn't last as long as it should. I say this because I have a VERY oily face (without primer, my shadows basically last about 2hrs before it starts creasing). I've been using the primer that came with the Book of Shadows IV, and it works GREAT! It lasts much longer than when I use the "wand." September 29, 2011Great travel piece! The only drawback for me is that I need to use a round sponge type brush to smooth it on after applying. The little applicator just doesn't work well for me.
