line, smudge, etc i like that this brush is good for creating lines of different thicknesses. it is made well and the bristles are stiff enough to do winged liner. i have used it with both cream/gel and shadow. it's also good for smudging the liner. the UD brushes wash well and have held up over time. Solid quality brush While it's possible to skimp a little on a blush brush and the like, it's pretty critical to get one for eye liner that is shaped properly to do the job right and made of materials that don't leave your eyelids red and raw from being too rough. This brush manages to find that delicate balance between too soft to make a decent line and too harsh to use on the fragile skin around your eyes. March 5, 2013
great brush-little long on the handle This brush is great... the bristles are stiff enough to create a perfect cat eye liner, but soft and not rough like some other liner brushes out there.... although the handle is a bit long, if it was shorter/smaller it would be ideal. March 5, 2013
