LOVE this Potion! I've been using this for years! I actually purchased it long before they started making cheeks stains, so used this for dual purpose. It worked wonders! It is a STAIN! Does dry the lips a bit, so I use a good lip balm. My lips are somewhat thin, but this 'Lip Envy' adds a nice 'pout' to my lower lip. I receive compliments on the color, & 'what have you done to your lips?' type of thing! Only caveat--if you get any on your fingers, hard to get off! July 23, 2012

A must have for lovers of bold lip color! Love, love, love this lip stain! Easy application, bold, sexy color and lasts the duration. Have an accident? No problem! While it stays well on lips and is resistant to saliva, warm tap-water easy removes it from skin( I don't know how well it comes out of fabric though- I haven't had the misfortune of finding out first hand yet). Stays on for hours This is a great product. It does stay on for ages and people have commented on ths when i use it. Easy and quick, but have lots of chap stick on hand The colours you get from these stains is undoubtably beautiful and agreeably long lasting, but, as is the case with most stains, they have the tendency to be overly drying on the lips. If you use this as a base to a moisturizing lipstick/gloss or if you keep some balm handy, this isn't really an issue, but don't expect to wear this alone and be sure to exfoliate your lips to remove dead skin beforehand to ensure that your lips don't look like a colourful cracked mess. Keeping my lips bright for hours. I have a bit of trouble keeping lipstick and lipgloss on. I bite my lips or lick them so I lose color fast and have to keep reapplying which is a pain. With this lipstain (I have Envious) I build it up to a really vivid color, smooth a little bit of lipgloss over it to make my lips shiny, and enjoy my hours of color. Towards the end the color is lighter and more faded, but no less prettier on my lips. I've come to really like the vanilla scent. Bold Berry Beauty in an Inkwell! About a year ago, I was fantasizing about a bold berry lip color that would go with all my favorite purple clothes but not look too dark for my fair skin. I must've tried on every brand at the makeup counter before I found UD's Lip Envy in Greedy. (I also tried on the Envious hue, a dark magenta pink. It's nice but the color isn't for me.) Lip Envy offers great staying power and a huge color payout that can be toned down by blotting or layering with a lighter gloss. The end result is bold but not clownish; I wear mine often to the office. I recommend the following steps for application: 1. Remove applicator wand from inkwell jar. Wipe applicator lightly. 2. Apply to lower lip. Press your lips together. 3. Fill in cupid's bow with tip of applicator. 4. Blot *immediately* before all the color sets. 5. If color fades after eating or drinking, use a berry-tinted lip balm to touch up and it will look nearly as bold as when you first applied it. This is a great fun color, and the little inkwell jar has never leaked in my purse. I recommend it to anyone who wants to shake up their look with bold berry! February 18, 2012
Exactly the red stain that I was looking for Yes, this does stain your lips for a very long time. It does a great job on my lips and is very long lasting. I tried it on the back of my hand and it was on there for awhile even after I washed my hands a few times. However, it looks fabulous over my regular lipstick. It gives my lips that deep red look that I have been looking for. I've gotten comments that it's very dramatic. I think that it adds richness to my lipstick and depth the color. Fantabulous! I purchased this lip stain about a year ago and got the color Envious, I believe. I use it in the car before I go out, it's quick and easy, blendable and it lasts all day! I highly recommend this product to the ladies who are on the go and need a touch up as well! It goes great with tinted chapstick like Softlips Pearl, etc. You can get that at Wal-Mart or something. gurl no omg awful it applies SO unevenly it emphasizes all ur lines it takes forever to dry in between layers it wears quickly the only way to make it wearable is when u wear a gloss on top it's just a bad product reformulate asap! Lovely Lipstain I really enjoy this lipstain! I use Greedy and I love the colour. I find the colour comes off of my lips easily but stays on around the line of my lips so I have to keep re-applying. It's very easy to use but also makes my lips a bit dry. I have a vertical labret piercing and it doesn't react with it so thats a huge plus! January 24, 2013
Great Colors I own this Lip Envy lip tint in both shades and surprisingly I like the lighter of the shades better than the darker. I thought the berry would be better but is almost two dark with more than 2 coats on and it's so hard to get even coverage with just one coat int he darker shade. I found that the lighter shade was more red on my lips than I thought it would be. Unlike most I don't mind the doe-foot applicator. In the photo included I'm wearing about two coats on the envious shade, which I got second but like way more. March 5, 2013
True to it's name So i use the color "greedy" and I was very skeptic b/c i thought it was a very dark color for my lips: I'm sooo white. But i ended up using a light layer and love it so much. Best liquid lipstain i've ever ued!! I have this lipstain in the color envious. It is the perfect medium toned berry pink. It goes perfect with my fair skin! I love this color because it smells fantastic, dries quickly, and is easy to use on its own or combined with another color. The applicator is a doe foot, which is pretty generic. Sometimes, i do find that the lipstain sinks into some lines of my lips, but it isn't very noticeable. This color would go great with any skin tone, plus its small so you can bring it with you everywhere! August 24, 2011

Stain indeed! I got this in a perfectly red color that’s obviously not available anymore.. It stains and stays put! It has a flavor, but with a weird chemical aftertaste that discourages lip licking and chewing! It is a bit drying, but I imagine gloss, balm, or lipstick over it would help that out. But the description is very accurate! It dries matte and stains your lips pretty well. Also, this is a TON of product. You shouldn’t need another lip stain for quite some time! March 6, 2013
More variety would be great, but overall a good product I bought this in Greedy and I love the color. I have dry lips, so I use the lip primer before I apply and I find that helps keep the stain from cracking, but after a long day the color does tend to get blotchy and sink into cracks in my lips. I'll usually use a lipgloss halfway through my day to help even out the color and refresh it, because if you put another coat on top of cracking color it just starts to peel. February 9, 2012

I'll definitely buy this again! I love these colors, and I didn't find Greedy to be too dark as some other reviews have mentioned. My only complaint is that if you're using this on your cheeks, it's not as blendable as I would like. Definitely more immediate stain than some other brands. The good thing is that it doesn't take a million coats like some of the other stain brands I've tried. At first I tried to dot this on my cheeks and then spread with my fingertips. That didn't work out so well. I just had pink fingertips and I felt like it set before I could get it properly blended. Next, I tried using a flat foundation brush. Not right for me, either. Finally, I bought a dense blush brush and I found a flawless, no mess application... If your goal is to use this on your lips, I think you'll be VERY pleased. It's definitely way easier to apply to lips than cheeks, and the vanilla scent is perfectly subtle. March 6, 2013
my favorite lip stain i love this product! it smells really good. it's very moisturizing and it's very pleasant to put on. some lipstains dry out and crack on your lips, this doesn't at all. it lasts very long and is very nicely pigmented. i don't reccomend using these for a natural everyday look. they are great for dramatic night time looks though.
