These shadow pencils have a lovely texture – smooth and creamy. They don’t pull, tug, or drag when applied. I purchased Sin, and it’s a great color to use for an everyday natural look, or a “no eye makeup” look because the color is so close to a light flesh tone. Covers up eye discoloration as well. If you want to smudge the color out, you can, you just have to move quickly, as it dries and sets in a few seconds. The pencils are highly pigmented, so you great color payoff and long lasting wear - the product and color stays that way all day, no creasing or migrating, which makes them great to use as eyeliners, too. I look forward to buying more. February 21, 2012Stays on without primer! I have very oily lids, to the point where I absolutely cannot wear cream shadow and MUST use a primer with powder shadows if I don't want them creasing in an hour. So I was a bit worried that these pencils would crease on me even with primer because of their creamy texture. However, to my surprise they stayed on all day and night with and WITHOUT primer. Needless to say, I was overjoyed an have worn at least one of the colors I got in the set (Sin, Rehab, Juju, Delinquent, and Clash) everyday since I got them in December! I also love not having fuss with brushes. On busy mornings, I can just draw it on, smudge with my fingers and go! My only complaint is about the color selection. I would love to see Juju as a permanent color, as well as a pink-toned pencil perhaps in a color similar to Scratch and maybe a deep blue. Overall, I really love these pencils and highly recommed that you buy at least one to try! June 15, 2012Love it! I love this product. There's the right about of color and sparkle. February 27, 2012Easy to use, great for traveling and pencil dries up I got both the barracula and rehab colors. I absolutely love the rehab color and reach for it quite often. But since the barracula is quite sparkly, I tend not to use it for work or day time. This pencil is easy to use and great for carrying in the purse for touch ups. However I do find the colors dry up quite easily. Most times I need to rub some of the color on back of my hand to warm it up before applying directly to the eye. So I do wish that this is more emollient. But on the flip side, the colors last and last! March 5, 2013Works pretty good! I got a little sample set of these as a gift and ended up loving them! I bought the midnight cowboy one because I am pretty much obsessed with anything midnight cowboy! It was really nice but I will say the glitter flaked off a bit and got in my eye as the day went on. These pigment-drenched pencils will last all day (I work 10 hour days some weeks), especially if you use a potion primer underneath. They are so smooth they don't even leave choppy lines when you apply. They are also extremely blendable for that undereye smokey look - these give you the longest and foggiest effects ever! The colors are so beautiful and vibrant, and I usually have pretty bad creasing problems and/or loss of product over a long day at school (11am-9pm); these don't move much, and hardly any product leaves me during the day! My only issue is that they're a little hard to sharpen, but it really doesn't hinder my opinion or ease of usage much. Specifically, "Clash" is a bright color that I've had a lot of success with, makes my medium-deep brown eyes pop all day. April 16, 2012Pleasantly Surprised! I am not a big fan of cream/pencil eyeshadows, but during the course of working through an issue with a product I tried, I was sent 3 of these (2 samples and 1 full size) as a "thank you" for sticking with UD. (It turned out the problem with the product I was using was with me, and had absolutely nothing to do with the product at all!) I was sent Sin, Wasteland, and Delinquent. These are amazing! They go on so smoothly, and I use them primarily to line my lid with a good, thick, smooth line as opposed to the smaller liner pencil that takes more work. One stroke and I'm done! I love this stuff! I use sin all over my lid on days that I just want a natural (but not so natural if you know what I mean!) look. A lot of us realized how excellent the 24/7 liners were as shadow bases, and it was brilliant of them to release them in a size suitable for that purpose. These glide on smoothly and deliver a bold kick of colour that won't disappoint. They dry down relatively fast while still giving you enough time to blend, and can be topped with a shadow, or worn alone. The most important aspect of these is that they don't crease on me as long as I blend them properly. It came with 5 deluxe travel size shadow pencils, including Delinquent (dark purple with bright purple sparkle), Rehab (taupe), Juju (frosted taupe), Sin (champagne), and Clash (bright turquoise with silver sparkle). All of these colors are great and easy to apply! I cannot speak to theother colors in the collection, but I am sure they're just as great. I will definitely be repurchasing these in full size as the ones I have run out. July 29, 2012Best eyeshadow pencil This is by far my most favorite eye shadow pencil to date. My midnight cowboy pencil is used every day as a highlighter on my lids, just above black wingtip liner. For me, it gives just the right amount of pop without being too sparkly. The color lasts all day even with oily lids. My only complaint is that the actual pigment part of the pencil seems to have shrunk away from the wood. So it's a little loose which is strange. It came in Delinquent, so I was excited because I was wanting a new deep purple. It glides on my hand very easily and has just a touch of shimmer and the right amount of deep yet bold and bright purple that I'd wanted. I tried to actually use it on my eyes, and it was a different story. It did not glide on easily; I had to go over and over the same area on my lid trying to get it to the same color as it was in one swipe on my hand. It seemed very dry and hard to apply. I could not see the touch of glitter. And after only trying to use it one time, the entire sharpened tip broke off. I'm very happy I didn't purchase this shadow pencil and have the same frustrations. I do not understand why a couple of the posts that I read are about eyeliner and waterproof eyeliner - my review is for 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil. February 29, 201224/7 Shadow Pencils I love eye shadow pencils and when these were introduced I was ecstatic! I love the 24/7 eye liner pencils and I knew I would love these. I have seven of them. I usually use primer, but when I am lazy or forget, I don't have to worry with these. They blend great, and once they are on and they set, they wear wonderful, even on my oily skin. The color selection is divine, and I can create really nice looks with different combinations of them. The texture is amazing, and I can achieve really precise application with these. They are so easy to use and they feel good on my eyes. These don't flake or smudge and they don't slip into my fine lines. I forget I am wearing them, and the finish is nice. You can build them up as well for really intense effects for night. These are just great pencils. March 5, 2013Everything should be this easy! I have this product in Rehab, a beautiful medium shimmery brownish taupe. One or two (depending on the look you want) swipes, blended quickly with a concealer brush, on my uber-oily upper lids, and I have a simple but polished look that lasts for hours. I will *definitely* be buying more of these little beauties in the future. I do wish there were more neutral shades, as well as some matte, or at least satin-finish, options. April 14, 2012We have found the Holy Grail These cream eyeshadow pencils are beyond amazing. If you need to get ready in a hurry, these are a must have. They are worth every penny of the price, they are beautifully pigmented and will not crease or budge on you all day long. August 15, 2011Amazing :] I have delinquent and it's amazing. In my opinion it stays a LOT longer than UD's or anyone's normal powder shadow does. And it's also amazing because you can use it as eyeliner or shadow. It goes on really creamy and stays put and doesn't budge at all. But I really, really wish UD had a wider color selection with these! I would love to see UD make more bright colors of these or just more colors in general. Because I'm in love with them. I will definitley be buying a lot more shades of these. I bought two of these 24/7 big and bendable sticks last Saturday at the sephora in NYC...... I had done swatches of them before and thought they were really beautiful and a good alternative for eyeshadow. Sin is one of my favorite colors in the urban decay collection and I really like all the colors of the midnight cowboy collection however all the eye shadows got bad reviews in the ( cowboy collection) but was said that these were a good alternative to get the color pay off you would expect from the shadow! WHATTTT A bunch of bull that was ........ When I tried applying these colors they were extremely dry , very hard to apply, stickkkkky , and almost painful to put on .... They were so sticky on my lids that it was almost as though I had applied eyelash glue on my lids .... Too make matters even worse , both of them broke within first uses on both!!!!! Thankfully, sephora gave me no problem returning them !! I would not even take these back if they were given to me for free ...... HATE HATE HATE HATE.....
