I found that during the first use the tip of the shadow stick broke off at the tip. I kept putting it in the pencil but it kept falling out -- Not only was that annoying, but the shadow did not "glide" at all and was fairly painful to apply, and "stuck" as I tried to apply over the eyelid; it was difficult to get any decent degree of colour. I really really wanted to like this --- hoping that I just got a dud... March 11, 2013great! these are so great and easy to use! they are pigmented and don't crease, glide on, and are long lasting. they're really great when you're in a rush and still want a pretty eye look! February 18, 2012Better than I expected I got Delinquent and was a little nervous because it was such a dark color. It ended up looking so good with my brown eyes and didn't look quite as dark as it did when swatched. It goes on smoothly, but does dry quickly so if you want to smudge it you need to work quickly or apply a little at a time. I actually skip smudging and instead apply it to my eyelid from lash to crease. Then I use UD deluxe eye shadow in Ransom above it and feather it out. I can't wait to try more of these! February 3, 2012Love the 24/7 Shadow Pencil! I purchased a set of 5 of these 24/7 shadow pencils on a whim, but to be honest, I wasn't expecting much. They have exceeded by expectations, by far. I use the pencils on my "lazy days" when I don't feel like taking out all my brushes and getting crazy. I just apply the color I want and then blend it out with my fingers. The heat from my finger makes the colors blend perfectly and the color lasts all day. I plan to purchase the full size of a couple of the pencils I got in the set. February 21, 2012Better than coffee to look awake I bought Lit first and then Midnight Cowboy and both are excellent colors. Lit is more of a goldish white color and Midnight Cowboy is more of a pinkish gold white color. I love to use them in the inner corner of my eyes and along my lower lashline to give a little hint of shimmer and make me look more awake in the morning. Some people use a hit of caffeine to look awake; I just use these beautiful eye liners instead. They glide on smooth and stay all day. Absolutely stunning! February 18, 2012Great product I've only owned one of these in Clinic. I really loved the color of it and it did last for a long time. It was kind of hard for me to blend it the way I wanted to on my entire lid, but overall it is a very easy product to use. Just like the powder shadows, the one that I owned was very pigmented. The color selection is pretty good on these and I had no major issues with this product. I think I'm just more a a powder eyeshadow kind of person but I would recommend these pencils. August 15, 201224/7 Shadow Pencils last and last...and can be liners too. These 24/7 Shadow Pencils are so versatile; use them as liners, base eye shadow or alone. I've done it all with them. Using one of these under powder eye shadow gives you immense staying power and great color build-up...the powder adheres to the base color and truly lasts until you take it off. My only complaint is that there isn't a huge range of colors available, but I do mix and match them with colors from my favorite palettes and singles, so I am still thrilled with them. February 17, 2012Disappointing I had fallen in love with the Sin eyeshadow from my Ammo Palette, and when I saw that these came out, I jumped on the opportunity to have Sin in an easy-application cream pencil. But I was so sorely disappointed. The product does not glide on easily or blend out easily on my lids. It creases, whether or not I use a primer underneath. It tends to gather around certain areas of my lid, making it look patchy and unattractive. Also, the color pigmentation isn't as amazing as the simple powder eyeshadow formulation. After trying the product in Sin, I purchased another color just to try and see if I had a dud. I purchased Rehab, and it was a little better, but not too much. I really had to rub my eyelid to get it to blend out, and sometimes it would still patch up. Now my Sin pencil just sits in my drawer, and I only use rehab as a dark brown smoky eyeliner pencil. Also, the recommendation is to purchase grind house (UD's pencil sharpener) with these products as grind house is formulated to shave off less of the product for 24/7 pencils (eyeliners, eyeshadow, etc.). Other fat pencil sharpeners don't work as well and are more likely to waste product. February 4, 2012great for on the go !!!! i love this in clash when im running out of time in the morning and when i need a pick me up its perfect... even my sister steals mine August 15, 2011Nice color, but not a creamy pencil I was given a set of these pencils on my birthday last year and the set included Clash, Delinquent, Sin, Juju, and Rehab. I like the colors (still not sure how to use Clash without looking clownish though), however it is a pretty hard pencil. It's not as creamy as the eyeliner pencils. I wouldn't use it for the lower waterline or lashline since it will irritate your eyes and clump the bottom lashes. I love using it on my top lid. Either to line above my lashes when I use powder eyeshadow as well, all over, or all over as a base to brighten powder shadow. I love the Rehab shade and Narc looks like it would be a great green. If you buy this, I highly recommend the grindhouse sharpener so the pencil can do thinner lines, less thick shading, and glide a little more smoothly. Use a primer as well to keep from creasing. January 18, 2013Hands down favorite! These are hands down my favorite eyeliners anywhere- no, I take it back, they are my favorite beauty product overall. I would buy it in every color if I could (and am actually well on my way to this!), because they are all so pigmented, and versatile. They blend really well so you can wear them as a hard line or as a smudgy one just as easily. You don't need a special blending brush either, but using one can help. I mostly use my fingertips. Cannot recommend enough! February 27, 2012Quick and Easy! I have the color Lit and it can pair with any other liner I have. I usually pair it with either black or a purple though as those look the best. I definitely intend to buy more colors. I'm also thinking about getting rid of the makeup I have now for any vegan makeup, and luckily enough this is one of the things I can keep so thumbs up! Wish it was a twist up instead of having to sharpen it but thats really no big deal. It's long lasting and the pigment is amazing! I usually can never use pencil eyeshadows because they crease like crazy. These do not do that, which made me fall in love. I did a full look using just my pencils (EVEN WITHOUT A PRIMER) and it stayed put for 24 hours only smudging slightly. The only bad thing is, they are slightly sticky when you first put them on and that feeling lasts for about two hours. However, I feel this can be fixed with some powder on top of the product. February 17, 2012Not Quite a liner, Not quite a shadow I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about these shadow pencils. On one hand they last forever, they're almost too hard to get off! On the other hand, they're very difficult to work with. The fat tip makes it difficult to do precise lines and it sets too fast to really blend well as an eye shadow. They do apply smoothly but I really just can't get behind them. I think I'm going to use mine as a base when I use wet powder as eye liner to make to last longer. I always use with a shadow primer because I have oilyish eyelids, and it lasts until the next day if I forget to wash it off. The color is great (I have Naked) and packed with glitter--which totally stays put. I have never noticed any creasing with this product--again, I always use a primer. I would say it's especially great if I'm in a rush and only want to apply one color. February 12, 2012Foolproof So it's 8:53pm, Sephora closes at 9, and I'm getting ready to close the store when all of a sudden two ladies walk in wanting a smokey eye that they can wear out. Of course I don't turn them down, but I want to get out of there on time. What do I do? UD shadow pencils all the way. Just glide oilslick on the top and bottom lash line, smudge it out with the UD smudge brush, put a little sin on the brow bone and tear duct and BAM! They are sparkling, gorgeous, ready to go party, and amazed that it only took five minutes to get both of them done. They both ended up getting the two colors I showed them and then each picked one of the fun bright colors. They were ecstatic and I got off work on time! These pencils make getting pretty super easy and fast. The smudging brush is a must with these if you want to use them to their fullest potential. February 28, 2012I SOO WANTED TO LIKE THIS THIS....
