I was going to just throw it away because it looked like clown makeup to me and I have never used such a bright blush before. I got a sample of this in quickie with my order. At first I looked at it and I didn't want to use it because it was super pink. But eventually I decided to give it a try, and I found out that it goes on pretty sheer and gives me a nice little bit of color. It took a couple of tries to figure out a good way to really apply this, because the first time I looked a bit clown like. I think that after you play with this you will love it too, and I can't wait to pick up a full sized one soon! February 21, 2012Great for people who want a pretty flush, but application can be a little finicky I own Quickie, Crush, and Bang, and I love them all color-wise! I like using these in the spring and summer when the weather starts warming up because they look natural, and they give me the option to skip powder. The one problem with these tints is that their texture can be difficult to manipulate. The gel-like finish is firm to the touch until it's warmed up, so it doesn't behave like traditional cream blushes. I like to apply this one of two ways: 1. tap a stippling brush on the surface of the tint, stipple tint on face, and blend out with fingers (the warmth in your fingers will help make the blush blend out better) 2. pile some tint on the back of my hand, buff stippling brush into tint, and then apply what's left on the brush to my cheeks (this way, the color is already diffused evenly and applies uniformly) I also wish this tint performed well over a larger range of face products. It looks great on bare skin, and it's fine over liquid foundation. However, it doesn't look great over powder, and that could be a real deal breaker for people who use full-coverage and/or matte powder foundation. February 29, 2012Great color. When you look at these colors all you can think is how bright they're going to be once on your cheek. I went out on a whim and got the Greedy shade to mach my lip tint. This color is not bright as it appears in the package at all, but if you want it to be brighter it is extremely build able by layers on. Its extremley buildable as descibed so i get just the right amount of color that im looking for. Great color selection to choose from for diffrent looks. Its super easy to use (kinda fool proof if you ask me). The only downside is the staying power. For me it doesnt last as long as i would like and find my self reapply about halfway through my work day. Other than that great product. November 6, 2011Ready for another A friend gave me a sample of Urban Decay's Afterglow Glide-On Cheek Tint in Crush (bright pink). Since I love the English Rose look, she knew I would be willing to at least try the cheek tint. It appears to be scary bright, but with a soft and quick touch, your cheeks are look pinched or glowing "after". I will, 100%, be purchasing a full size Afterglow. I am torn between Quickie (light pink) and Fetish (rose pink). I'll probably get both! Tip: Make sure your cheeks are moisturized. Typically, I press one finger tip from each hand onto the tint. Then I press those to fingers (middle) together and then smoosh some product onto my ring fingers. A quick pat, pat, pat for color on each cheek, followed by light, feathery strokes to blend. Fingers without product can be used to swipe a heavy spot or help blend a too-light spot. Don't be intimidated about how it looks on the pan it can be applied sheer or can be intensified for a more dramatic look. It's a gorgeous shade that looks so natural once on. It has become my favorite everyday blush. It's also multi-use, I love to apply it to my lips and go over it with UD lip junkie in midnight cowboy and i'm good to go. I typically don't reach for cream-based blushes since I have oily skin and usually makes my skin appear more "oily." However, the cheek tints just give the appearance of a dewy look vs. a greasy, oily mess. I love that you are able to build up the colors to just the amount you want and they are super blendable and wear well all day long. Definitely want to stock up on some more colors of this product! March 11, 2013Afterglow QUICKIE I had the Urban Decay Powder Blush in Quickie for the longest time, since that was discontinued I had to buy the new Afterglow Cheek Tint. It looks insanely pink in the container and when you first apply it to cheeks but once you blend it it, it looks like the perfect natural flush, I have to do 1 coat as opposed to 2 of the old powder version, its very pigmented and long lasting. Sometimes i even dot it on my lips as a stain, very pretty! March 5, 2013Nice product This is a very good creme blush. For me, it's very hard to find a creme blush that stays all day without a powder blush over it, that gives enough color without a powder blush over it, and that is easy to apply. This blush is all of those things. I have the color Crush, and it is very beautiful and wearable, even though it looks extremely bright in the pan. Bang fits the bill. Most blushes look muddy or fade away on my sallow complexion. I have combo skin which doesn't help the staying factor. This formula blends in nicely and is buildable. Of course being a cream blush it's not gonna be a quick sweep with a brush but it's also going to be a more natural finish. A trade-off I can live with. Bang is bangin'!
