Quick and Easy I have this in original (clear matte) and sin (shimmery sheer gold). both of these are amazing. I use original wen I use eyeshadow and it keeps it on from 7 am to 6 pm its amazing it starts to crease at like 9 but it cant lasts FOREVER, right? I use sin for a quick fix in the morning when I go to skool because its quick, easy and keeps my eyelids non oily while adding a nice golden sheen to it. I'm brown so I use a tiny bit a smear it on my eyelids, if u use too much it looks like a gold disaster so keep it to a minimal what ever your skin tone is. A must have if you wear eyeshadow. This product is amazing! I love bold eye colors and smokey eyes but I wear contacts and have always had extremely watery eyes. In the past I have tended to wipe away all of my eye makeup during the day and/or end up looking like a raccoon. I believe I got a small one of these with a book of shadows and had to purchase the larger version. I don't wear shadow without applying it first now! I can even take a nap in the middle of the day and wake up with my eye makeup still looking good. It holds everything in place beautifully. When I use it together with the All Nighter makeup setting spray, my eyes still look great at the end of the day despite having watered. February 12, 2012
"The best primer on the market right now!" Before I bought this, I heard this was the best primer on the market so I just had to pick it up. I'm a teenager and I love to experiment with makeup so I picked up the tube version (I heard it was hard to get all of the product out of the wand version). I didn't really notice a change in my eyeshadow pigmentation but the quality of this primer was amazing and it made my eyeshadows and even eyeliners stay all day. I had one eyeliner that faded really easy but it didn't fade at all when I wore this primer! Overall, this primer is amazing!! Makes intense eye colors the least scary thing ever! Hear me out, fellow oily ladies - I KNOW bright purples and greens can be a bit daunting as eye shadow choices, especially when they usually end up creased and end up reminding you of that time you cried at your eighth grade dance. Fear no more! This Eden Primer Potion is a must-have. I have never gotten so many compliments on my eye shadow as I have when I use this primer. The UD Primers are great! I don't know what else I can say about the UD primers? Everyone who is a make up junkie that I know loves UD primer! I've tried other primers but until I found UD, It was lost on me. If I fall asleep with make up on or I accidentally rub my eye, my make up stays on and its flawless. It feels light and is silky and I hate the feeling of make up and primer especially when its greasy or heavy. I've never felt that way about UD primer, I have all of them and they all work great! I use sin a lot because I like the shimmer and I use the purple bottle, the shadow base when I don't want a shimmery primer. They all work great though! February 2, 2012
A must for every make up bag You need these, you want these, you have to buy them!! The primer potions are excellent, they really do keep your eye makeup fresh and creasless, plus they allow your shadows to show true to color! It really does help your eyemake up stay on 24 hours. I've put it to the test many times, not that I recommend you sleep in your make up lol, but they do work. It's not only great for your shadows but for your liner too!! Plus they switched from the genie bottle to these handy little tubes and you can get every last drop! :) Eden is my favorite, I wear it even when I don't have shadow to help even out my eyelid color with my face. Perfection in the new packaging Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP) was my first "holy grail" item, the thing I felt I couldn't live without. However, as much as I loved the primer, the original packaging turned me off for two reasons - the dipping wand (unsanitary), and because it left some of the product in the curves of the bottle. The bottle was too stiff to get the product out without having to cut it open and put it in another container; unsanitary and too much hassle. Therefore, if you ever used that old packaging and strayed because you didn't like it, it's time to start buying your favorite primer again. The new squeeze bottle is a dream - easy to get at ALL your product, and very sanitary since you do not need to re-dip a wand. Now to the primer itself - what makes it great? First of all, the texture - it is very moist and easy to spread. Once it dries a bit, it sets to a slightly tacky finish, which means it is NOT stiff or drying, and it makes an excellent surface to adhere eye shadows to. The staying power is also a factor - this helps my shadows to last a lot longer because it creates a barrier between my eyelids and the shadows, so they don't fade from oils mixing with them, or flake off when my eyes are too dry. That's another thing - UDPP is one of those rare products that works for me all year round. I alternate between dry and oily lids, and it isn't predictable (I can have too oily lids in the dead of winter, for example). UDPP works great for both situations, moisturizing and protecting my eyelids when they are a little dry (which obviously makes my shadows look better) and creating a matte base for when they are oily, so my shadow doesn't fade. This primer, like most I have used, is a pro at intensifying color for any eyeshadow I apply. However, since just about anything, including concealer and powder, applied before you use eyeshadow will intensify color, that is not a selling point for a primer, in my opinion. I look for texture and longevity, two things UDPP delivers on. I prefer the "original" translucent UDPP, but I have tried them all, and for bolder or party looks, the others do come in handy. They even function as subtle wash of color alone, if you want something quick. Eden is my preference over Greed and Sin, just because it is a nude matte with no shimmer. If you want to blank out all veins and coloration in your eyelid, this is the one to use. It's useful on days when I am tired or my skin is especially see-though. Greed and Sin add color and shimmer - Greed is warm toned and Sin is a neutral champagne. As for whether this causes any irritation, I have sensitive skin and this has never given me a problem. I have used other eyelid primers that will irritate if they migrate into the corner of my eye, but UDPP has never irritated. Finally, creasing - it absolutely helps with this for all the reasons I mention above... there are no pores in your eyelids, so UDPP makes an effective barrier or base to layer pigment on and will help control oil so that eyeshadow doesn't mix and cause the dreaded creasing. Bottom line: highly recommended, and a great value in the new packaging! February 8, 2012
NUMBER 1 IS RIGHT ON! OK, everyone of these primers are just pure awesome! When they say this is the #1 selling product, you bet you life it is! This is my favorite product in my makeup arsenal! I apply this after cleansing and moisturizing my face and my makeup stays on for over 12 hours without budging or having any eye color running down my face. This is so great, it would remain on my eyes longer if I didn't remove it before going to bed. First time UDer, Forever made a UDer <3 For years I watched other make-up artists use the UbanDecay Primer and wondered "What is so great about a primer. I just use cream shadow." Fianlly I had made the choice to purchase the primer. I was in for a shock. Not only did it have pigment that helped my shadow stand out but I could pair it with my cream shadow to get a look that lasted all day and night. Paired with a cream shadow my eye make-up was pretty much water proof as well. I fell in love. Another favorite Love this primer potion. I use the original one. i've tried the sin and it is gorgeous, but I wear the eyeshadow sin almost always so I prefer to just use the original. I have pretty greasy eyelids and always get creases but I never do when i use this and i never put anything on my eyes without it! Also, my eyeshadow has never lasted longer. If I don't take it off before bed, it will be on in the morning still. It is crazy but don't do that. take your make up off! another product i can't live without. love urban decay! and i love that they made it into a squeeze tube...it is now so much easier to get use of all the product! Love some crease-free eyeshadow I have tried this in Original, Eden, and a deluxe sample in Greed. I love the Original and feel it's a staple in my makeup bag. I don't believe this makes eyeshadows crease-free for 24 hours but it'll definitely stay for a good 12 or so. I just purchased Eden and I love how it totally nudes out my eyelid & makes a good backdrop for colors; it might replace Original as my fave. I actually don't really like the Greed one, it seems to crease faster than the rest and I wish the gold pigment was less sheer. I'm glad they switched up the packaging to something a little more practical, I was sick of cutting my tubes open to get the extra product out! Great stuff here! February 26, 2012
Makes you save on eyeshadow! I have used this product for a few years now. I have always got complimented on my eyes (since I believe they are my best feature), therefore I always make sure my eye make up is well done. This makes me use less eye shadow (instead of applying layers to make it the "perfect shade"), and it also really does make it last longer, intensifies the shade, as well as keeps my eye shadow from creasing. It's soo easy to apply! I not only have used it with Urban Decay shadows, but with other brands as well. My friends would give me a hard time because they believe I spend too much money on beauty products, but I do believe there are certain things well worth the money, so I gave this to them for x-mas and they absolutely love it!! BEST EVER EYE PRIMER My first purchase was in Sephora store and the professional did my eyes with UD primer potion in champagne and apply the eyeshadow afterwards i say i didn't believe i have worn it for almost 12 hours without a budge. Its creamy and goes on easy.all i needed was a tiny bit-it dries well and love the shimmer it had-that i can wear it alone too. or as a highlighter under my brow. Lightweight and creasefree I was skeptical at first with testing out a primer because I had tried other products before and my makeup still seemed to crease, but after i tried this, I don't know if I would I would ever change it. I love how this is seriously crease-proof. I have worn my makeup over 12 hours and it still looks perfectly fresh. I use the Primer Potion in Greed because it gives you that nice subtle glow and I even have worn it by itself because it almost looks like a golden eyeshadow. Nice luxury item I've gotten many sample sizes of this product in palettes and with purchases, and I would say it is definitely the nicest eyeshadow primer I have used (and I've tried a few different brands). The pigment is a nice color, even if used alone. I definitely do notice that when I use it, pigments in shadow are a bit more true to tone and fade-resistent, however I wouldn't deem this a "necessary" product. UD shadows typically last well on their own, and the price is a bit over the top when a facial primer can serve the same general purpose. However, if you are looking to splurge, it is a nice item to have in your beauty arsenal! February 29, 2012
Amazing product, especially under extremes! This product is fantastic for everyday use, however what has truly won me over to this product is how it holds up under extremes. Using products in general is difficult for me since I have sensitive skin and can't use any product that has gluten in it. Urban Decay allows me too meet both of those needs. Yesterday I put on this primer as I do every morning at 6 am. This primer allowed my UD eyeshadow to stay on through a trip to the ER, crying.through pain and falling asleep through the night. Trust the majority on this one I've been a makeup fiend for a long while and let me tell you, this primer makes a difference when applying eyeshadow. I have oily lids and usually high end eyeshadows tend to stay on me on an average of 4 hours before they start fading, creasing, caking or getting absorbed by my skin. Using this primer has fixed all those problems for me and increased the duration of wear. So yes, I definitely keep a tube of this in my make-up box at all times for those aforementioned reasons. If there's any product you should try in case you haven't already, its this one :) Don't let your lovely eyeshadow work go to waste, see this primer as a kind of eyeshadow insurance lol. Potions are the reason I came to know UD! I have VERY oily skin and had been looking for an eyeshadow primer that would primarily keep my shadow from creasing. I researched online and tried at least 7 or 8 different options (including primers specifically for your face) and never seemed to find one that worked well enough. Then I found Urban Decay... I began using the potion when only the original existed. Not only did it keep my shadow from creasing, it helped keep the density of the color and it kept my oil out of my eyes! Unbelieveable! I have been using the potions for 4 years now, I think. And I love the variety of colors that are now available... How did I live before Primer Potion!? Ah-May-ZING!!! I have always had issues with my eyeshadow because my eyelids tend to get very oily causing the dreaded crease! EEeek! I had tried other primers but never found anything that helped for very long. UD Primer Potion is top notch! Literally I put it on with my eyeshadow and if I happen to not wash my face before bed it will still be on in the morning! Crazy talk!! Worth every penny!! Only issue is that with the crazy bottles you may think that the tube is empty but there is still SOOO much product in there that you simply cannot reach. The Only Primer I Use I have tried so many primers that I had stopped for a long while. I thought that they were a complete waste of money as my eyeshadow would still end up creasing by the middle of the day. I started to think that perhaps my skin was just too oily or something. When I got a free sample of the UD original primer potion I tried it thinking that it would be just like the others. I was happily proven wrong. This primer is amazing! A little goes a long way and my makeup stays perfect despite hot FL weather and running around for 6 hours on my feet outside. Make it last... I'm all about the statement eye. I wear every color but I love brights and UDPP helps them stay on longer without wearing off or smearing around my face. When used in conjunction with Urban Decay shadows the look lasts all day, literally, all day. The color I put on in the AM looks just as good at mid-day and in the evening. I don't even need to add another layer before going out at night. I love that. It helps my shadows last longer, a life saver when you fall in love with a discontinued shade. I love using Sin Primer Potion alone as a champagne wash of color on my lids. Adding a color on top makes the shadow look more metallic than normal and it looks awesome. March 11, 2013
AWESOME this is the only primer I will use! it extends an eyeshadow that wears for like 30 minutes to 8 hours! Using a better quality eyeshadow with this will last 24 hours! this makes my eyeshadow last even longer than my mascara and eyeliner. I got the original over a year ago, I use it everyday, and there's still about 3/4 of the tube left so a little goes a long way! it also doesn't crease like in the description, and it also makes the pigments of the shadow come out and make the colors more vivid. Awesome Primers! I absolutely adore these primers. I have been using them for years & I really love them. I have all four: Original, Green, Eden, &Sin. Each one has it's own effect after applying eyeshadow & I LOVE the fact that I have those options. All 4 work great; Easy to apply, easy to blend out, last ALL day (10+ hrs), DON'T crease, make colors look beautiful. My friend got me Eden and a few other things from UD for my birthday a couple days ago and up until now I have only used the original, which I lovee and looks so good even by itself. Now that I have Eden, I can't help but use it all the time. I'll wear it alone and it is so pretty. I LOVE this primer. It is so silky and I never get creases using it. It makes my eyeshadow look so much brighter and is so light. You can totally tell the difference between other primers and UD's. It's top quality, you will never regret buying this. Amazing product, terrible packaging! I have several eye shadows that I had given up on because the colors didn't seem to stay on my eyes or didn't appear true to color. I had several reviews of this product on Youtube & decided it was worth a try. After using it for the first time, I was hooked! It makes my eye shadows stay true to color for several hours! Definitely worth the investment! I have recommended it to several friends & even ave one to my mom! The only downfall is the packaging! I have the original primer potion bottle & it is terrible! THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!! I seriously can not LIVE with out my eyeshadow primer!! Whether I am wearing a UD pigment or not the primer helps ALL of my shadows stay put until I wash them off, NO CREASING, NO SMUDGING, nothing! I work in entertainment and am constantly under a bright spotlight, with out the primer my dramatic eye makeup would be washed out under the light.. With my primer the color POPS and I look amazing. I love how long the primer lasts and you really don't need to apply a lot to achieve the look you want. It doesn't feel heavy and it is always the way I start off any of my eye looks... Best Eyeshadow Primer Ever! I had the hardest time trying to keep my eye make up on. I have tried other eye primers, but my eyeliner would always smudge on me and my eye shadow colors would not stay on for long. My eyeliner would always create an imprint on my top lid. After I tried Urban Decay's eye primer these problems have been solved! I no longer have to keep checking the mirror every chance I would get, I no longer have to keep wiping away my eyes to remove any excess eyeliner, and most of all I no longer have to be self conscious about my eye make up smudging or looking gross! I've used three...!! My favorite to date is Eden. I made the mistake of using way too much the first time and my lids felt caked with glue, but boyyyyy, my shadow didn't budge! I've learned since then and it definitely provides a nice, even, matte eye to put color on. My second favorite is the original. No color depositing, a nice smooth lid. My LEAST favorite is Sin. I just don't like it. It feels heavy and deposits way too much opalescence, no matter how much I use. I have to say I miss the bottle/wand combo. I felt like product distribution was better and I didn't end up with a bunch on my finger. December 9, 2011
Makeup Bag Must Have I'm a die hard fan of UD's primer potion. I have them all, in regular sized and purse sized minis. The original potion is the best, in my opinion. It locks down my eye makeup all day, which is great because I work long hours. Without primer potion, my liner and shadows crease after only a few hours. Eden is fantastic as well, since it adds a bit of concealment to my lids, and has a matte formula. Sometimes I'll wear Sin or Greed alone, for a polished look, but I generally don't wear either of these if I need my makeup to last a very long time. They're gorgeous but don't have the staying power of the original or of Eden. February 13, 2012

If you want to blank out all veins and coloration in your eyelid, this is the one to use. It's useful on days when I am tired or my skin is especially see-though. Greed and Sin add color and shimmer - Greed is warm toned and Sin is a neutral champagne. As for whether this causes any irritation, I have sensitive skin and this has never given me a problem. I have used other eyelid primers that will irritate if they migrate into the corner of my eye, but UDPP has never irritated. Finally, creasing - it absolutely helps with this for all the reasons I mention above... there are no pores in your eyelids, so UDPP makes an effective barrier or base to layer pigment on and will help control oil so that eyeshadow doesn't mix and cause the dreaded creasing. NUMBER 1 IS RIGHT ON! OK, everyone of these primers are just pure awesome! When they say this is the #1 selling product, you bet you life it is! This is my favorite product in my makeup arsenal! I apply this after cleansing and moisturizing my face and my makeup stays on for over 12 hours without budging or having any eye color running down my face. This is so great, it would remain on my eyes longer if I didn't remove it before going to bed. I love them all, I can't say which one is the best when they are all excellent and do exactly what is stated. First time UDer, Forever made a UDer <3 For years I watched other make-up artists use the UbanDecay Primer and wondered "What is so great about a primer. I just use cream shadow." Fianlly I had made the choice to purchase the primer. I was in for a shock. Not only did it have pigment that helped my shadow stand out but I could pair it with my cream shadow to get a look that lasted all day and night. Paired with a cream shadow my eye make-up was pretty much water proof as well. I fell in love. Another favorite Love this primer potion. I use the original one. i've tried the sin and it is gorgeous, but I wear the eyeshadow sin almost always so I prefer to just use the original. I have pretty greasy eyelids and always get creases but I never do when i use this and i never put anything on my eyes without it! Also, my eyeshadow has never lasted longer. If I don't take it off before bed, it will be on in the morning still. It is crazy but don't do that. take your make up off! another product i can't live without. love urban decay! and i love that they made it into a squeeze tube...it is now so much easier to get use of all the product! Love some crease-free eyeshadow I have tried this in Original, Eden, and a deluxe sample in Greed. I love the Original and feel it's a staple in my makeup bag. I don't believe this makes eyeshadows crease-free for 24 hours but it'll definitely stay for a good 12 or so. I just purchased Eden and I love how it totally nudes out my eyelid & makes a good backdrop for colors; it might replace Original as my fave. I actually don't really like the Greed one, it seems to crease faster than the rest and I wish the gold pigment was less sheer. I'm glad they switched up the packaging to something a little more practical, I was sick of cutting my tubes open to get the extra product out! Great stuff here! February 26, 2012
Makes you save on eyeshadow! I have used this product for a few years now. I have always got complimented on my eyes (since I believe they are my best feature), therefore I always make sure my eye make up is well done. This makes me use less eye shadow (instead of applying layers to make it the "perfect shade"), and it also really does make it last longer, intensifies the shade, as well as keeps my eye shadow from creasing. It's soo easy to apply! I not only have used it with Urban Decay shadows, but with other brands as well. My friends would give me a hard time because they believe I spend too much money on beauty products, but I do believe there are certain things well worth the money, so I gave this to them for x-mas and they absolutely love it!! BEST EVER EYE PRIMER My first purchase was in Sephora store and the professional did my eyes with UD primer potion in champagne and apply the eyeshadow afterwards i say i didn't believe i have worn it for almost 12 hours without a budge. Its creamy and goes on easy.all i needed was a tiny bit-it dries well and love the shimmer it had-that i can wear it alone too. or as a highlighter under my brow. Lightweight and creasefree I was skeptical at first with testing out a primer because I had tried other products before and my makeup still seemed to crease, but after i tried this, I don't know if I would I would ever change it. I love how this is seriously crease-proof. I have worn my makeup over 12 hours and it still looks perfectly fresh. I use the Primer Potion in Greed because it gives you that nice subtle glow and I even have worn it by itself because it almost looks like a golden eyeshadow. Nice luxury item I've gotten many sample sizes of this product in palettes and with purchases, and I would say it is definitely the nicest eyeshadow primer I have used (and I've tried a few different brands). The pigment is a nice color, even if used alone. I definitely do notice that when I use it, pigments in shadow are a bit more true to tone and fade-resistent, however I wouldn't deem this a "necessary" product. UD shadows typically last well on their own, and the price is a bit over the top when a facial primer can serve the same general purpose. Amazing product, especially under extremes! This product is fantastic for everyday use, however what has truly won me over to this product is how it holds up under extremes. Using products in general is difficult for me since I have sensitive skin and can't use any product that has gluten in it. Urban Decay allows me too meet both of those needs. Yesterday I put on this primer as I do every morning at 6 am. This primer allowed my UD eyeshadow to stay on through a trip to the ER, crying.through pain and falling asleep through the night. Trust the majority on this one I've been a makeup fiend for a long while and let me tell you, this primer makes a difference when applying eyeshadow. I have oily lids and usually high end eyeshadows tend to stay on me on an average of 4 hours before they start fading, creasing, caking or getting absorbed by my skin. Using this primer has fixed all those problems for me and increased the duration of wear. So yes, I definitely keep a tube of this in my make-up box at all times for those aforementioned reasons. If there's any product you should try in case you haven't already, its this one :) Don't let your lovely eyeshadow work go to waste, see this primer as a kind of eyeshadow insurance lol. Potions are the reason I came to know UD! I have VERY oily skin and had been looking for an eyeshadow primer that would primarily keep my shadow from creasing. I researched online and tried at least 7 or 8 different options (including primers specifically for your face) and never seemed to find one that worked well enough. Then I found Urban Decay... I began using the potion when only the original existed. Not only did it keep my shadow from creasing, it helped keep the density of the color and it kept my oil out of my eyes! Unbelieveable! I have been using the potions for 4 years now, I think. And I love the variety of colors that are now available... How did I live before Primer Potion!? Ah-May-ZING!!! I have always had issues with my eyeshadow because my eyelids tend to get very oily causing the dreaded crease! EEeek! I had tried other primers but never found anything that helped for very long. UD Primer Potion is top notch! Literally I put it on with my eyeshadow and if I happen to not wash my face before bed it will still be on in the morning! Crazy talk!! Worth every penny!! Only issue is that with the crazy bottles you may think that the tube is empty but there is still SOOO much product in there that you simply cannot reach. The Only Primer I Use I have tried so many primers that I had stopped for a long while. I thought that they were a complete waste of money as my eyeshadow would still end up creasing by the middle of the day. I started to think that perhaps my skin was just too oily or something. When I got a free sample of the UD original primer potion I tried it thinking that it would be just like the others. I was happily proven wrong. This primer is amazing! A little goes a long way and my makeup stays perfect despite hot FL weather and running around for 6 hours on my feet outside. Make it last... I'm all about the statement eye. I wear every color but I love brights and UDPP helps them stay on longer without wearing off or smearing around my face. When used in conjunction with Urban Decay shadows the look lasts all day, literally, all day. The color I put on in the AM looks just as good at mid-day and in the evening. I don't even need to add another layer before going out at night. I love that. It helps my shadows last longer, a life saver when you fall in love with a discontinued shade. I love using Sin Primer Potion alone as a champagne wash of color on my lids. Adding a color on top makes the shadow look more metallic than normal and it looks awesome. March 11, 2013
AWESOME this is the only primer I will use! it extends an eyeshadow that wears for like 30 minutes to 8 hours! Using a better quality eyeshadow with this will last 24 hours! this makes my eyeshadow last even longer than my mascara and eyeliner. I got the original over a year ago, I use it everyday, and there's still about 3/4 of the tube left so a little goes a long way! it also doesn't crease like in the description, and it also makes the pigments of the shadow come out and make the colors more vivid. Awesome Primers! I absolutely adore these primers. I have been using them for years & I really love them. I have all four: Original, Green, Eden, &Sin. Each one has it's own effect after applying eyeshadow & I LOVE the fact that I have those options. All 4 work great; Easy to apply, easy to blend out, last ALL day (10+ hrs), DON'T crease, make colors look beautiful. My friend got me Eden and a few other things from UD for my birthday a couple days ago and up until now I have only used the original, which I lovee and looks so good even by itself. Now that I have Eden, I can't help but use it all the time. I'll wear it alone and it is so pretty. I LOVE this primer. It is so silky and I never get creases using it. It makes my eyeshadow look so much brighter and is so light. You can totally tell the difference between other primers and UD's. It's top quality, you will never regret buying this. Amazing product, terrible packaging! I have several eye shadows that I had given up on because the colors didn't seem to stay on my eyes or didn't appear true to color. I had several reviews of this product on Youtube & decided it was worth a try. After using it for the first time, I was hooked! It makes my eye shadows stay true to color for several hours! Definitely worth the investment! I have recommended it to several friends & even ave one to my mom! The only downfall is the packaging! I have the original primer potion bottle & it is terrible! THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!! I seriously can not LIVE with out my eyeshadow primer!! Whether I am wearing a UD pigment or not the primer helps ALL of my shadows stay put until I wash them off, NO CREASING, NO SMUDGING, nothing! I work in entertainment and am constantly under a bright spotlight, with out the primer my dramatic eye makeup would be washed out under the light.. With my primer the color POPS and I look amazing. I love how long the primer lasts and you really don't need to apply a lot to achieve the look you want. It doesn't feel heavy and it is always the way I start off any of my eye looks... Best Eyeshadow Primer Ever! I had the hardest time trying to keep my eye make up on. I have tried other eye primers, but my eyeliner would always smudge on me and my eye shadow colors would not stay on for long. My eyeliner would always create an imprint on my top lid. After I tried Urban Decay's eye primer these problems have been solved! I no longer have to keep checking the mirror every chance I would get, I no longer have to keep wiping away my eyes to remove any excess eyeliner, and most of all I no longer have to be self conscious about my eye make up smudging or looking gross! I've used three...!! My favorite to date is Eden. I made the mistake of using way too much the first time and my lids felt caked with glue, but boyyyyy, my shadow didn't budge! I've learned since then and it definitely provides a nice, even, matte eye to put color on. My second favorite is the original. No color depositing, a nice smooth lid. My LEAST favorite is Sin. I just don't like it. It feels heavy and deposits way too much opalescence, no matter how much I use. I have to say I miss the bottle/wand combo. I felt like product distribution was better and I didn't end up with a bunch on my finger. December 9, 2011
Makeup Bag Must Have I'm a die hard fan of UD's primer potion. I have them all, in regular sized and purse sized minis. The original potion is the best, in my opinion. It locks down my eye makeup all day, which is great because I work long hours. Without primer potion, my liner and shadows crease after only a few hours. Eden is fantastic as well, since it adds a bit of concealment to my lids, and has a matte formula. Sometimes I'll wear Sin or Greed alone, for a polished look, but I generally don't wear either of these if I need my makeup to last a very long time. They're gorgeous but don't have the staying power of the original or of Eden. February 13, 2012
