Has Some Ups and Downs. This is, overall, a decent tinted moisturizer. My only complaint is that, though it's sheer coverage, there could still be a few more shades added to the range. The shades seem to be very yellow based, which doesn't work out well on all of my clients, as some of them are more neutral or more pink. As a product, it's a good one, so long as it matches you. Wow..not greasy! I loved this product. I am fair to medium and purchased it in Halo for winter months. It had surprisingly good coverage and it felt calming on my skin...and low and behold it was the first tinted moisturizer I've found that actually was hydrating without feeling slimy on your skin. I used a little powder with this and it provided a nice smooth finish. February 9, 2012
Awesome Awesome Awesome! My skin gets oily very easily, but knowing the importance of moisturizing, I have still tried tons of different types on my skin. They all always ended up making my skin look shiny and then led to break outs--but I finally found THE ONE! No more shiny spots, my skin looks even and covered without looking cakey..it's perfect! Great three-in-one! For those days when I'm in a big hurry, it's nice to get moisturizer, sunscreen and a bit of color and coverage in one quick application. Also good for days when I know I'm going to be working up a sweat, when regular foundation can run. Best summer make up! This is great for those 100 degree summer days where putting a full face on is just too much work. This you can just glide on your face and it gives you just the tiniest bit of coverage but doesn't look oily like some tinted moisturizers Ive tried. Great Tinted Moisturizer I've tried a few tinted moisturizers from other brands but this is by far the best I've had. It provides somewhat more coverage than the others I've had. Not full coverage more like medium to bare depending on how much you apply. I prefer this personally because I have very oily or greasy skin so when I put on full coverage foundation my skin feels extremely cakey and gross, especially during hotter seasons of the year. This doesn't feel greasy or cakey, more of a dew and smooth feel to it. It makes your skin naturally smooth and nice not a cakey look and I also use an anti-shine primer with it. It is not full coverage so you will need some concealer in areas for blemishes, scars, red marks etc. I use concealer with full coverage foundations or this anyways so I dont mind it. You can use some mineral powder on top or apply more for more coverage. I prefer the natural not cakey or painted look so I love this product alot and how it feels on my skin. :) March 26, 2013
Love this tinted moisturizer with SPF 20- my summer foundation!! I've always used this as foundation for light coverage days, especially in summer months. It's very lightweight, very moisturizing without looking oily, gives you SPF 20 and lovely texture and so easy to blend!! I love it, but it's not perfect I really do love this moisturizer. It gives my face a nice, dewy look, and it makes my skin tone very even. It also allows for a smoother application of blush, bronzer, etc. My only issue is that, if it gets wet at all (if you tear up, if it rains, etc), your face will have streaks all over it. might be my fave ud product I bought this on sale, I normally just use powder on my face but figured it was worth a try. I'm not sure how I lived without this. I don't need much product and it's rather light, but it's easy to layer up under my eyes where I need a little extra coverage. Under powder it is the perfect amount of coverage. Definitely recommend. WORTH EVERY PENNY This tinted moisturizer is awesome. I don't have very bad skin so i dont need so much coverage and this always does the trick. So lightweight but has awesome coverage. Not Without Primer It stared to sit in the lines on my face after an hour and it was so hard to put on my face evenly. It's still better than 90% of other tinted moisturizers I've used. I only use it in the summer when I just want to protect my face but still not look like a geisha. It would look better if I used a primer with it, though. February 16, 2012
Very nice My skin is very temperamental, so on my "dry" days this is perfect and I don't have to worry about my face looking flakey, plus it moisturizes my dry skin. I like that is has some spf protection in it since I have fair skin. The application is easier in my opinion if you have a brush so that you can really smooth it out. February 15, 2012
Really Good Product This is a really good product. It has a nice texture and feel to it. I only wish that they made more colors. I chose halo, and when I bought it in the summer and was a slight bit darker it was a good match. Now that it is winter and I'm back to my usual paleness. It's a little off. Great unless you have sensitive skin I was recommended this product from a friend since I had been looking for a tinted moisturizer. I really liked it and it worked great, except for the fact that I have really sensitive skin and I'm prone to break outs, so of course, like most stuff, it broke me out. Love the sheer glow of this product! I have dry skin so am usually disappointed in tinted moisturizers with SPFs, but this product totally nails it. The Halo makes my skin glow and I actually use the Bulletproof as a sheer bronzer on my cheeks, temples and along my jaw line because I hate a chalky or cakey look. I hope they make it forever! only so so i absolutely hate this product on my own. it leaves a greasy, gross finish on my face and it smells weird. i like to mix it with two other moisturizers, only using a tiny tiny bit of this, and thats the only way i can wear it. otherwise, on its own its bad. it also doesnt feel very moisturizing at all.. great sun protection and light coverage I am at the lake all the time and outside in the arizona sun so sunscreen is a must. I love having a tinted option so i am not totally bare skinned but not wearing a full foundation in the heat. Goes on easily and has a light coverage. Evens out skin & feels much lighter than foundation I have this in halo & it works well with my pale, pale skin. It goes on smoothly & I love that it doesn't even feel like I have makeup on. For days when I have breakouts, I still use a concealer, but this does a great job of evening out my skin tone on days when I don't want to be completely made up. January 31, 2012
No powder needed. I have been looking for an alternative to powder for awhile, and came across this tinted moisturizer. It works very well, and makes my skin look dewy and glowing. halo and bodyguard i bought the vintage tinted moisturizers on sale and i like them i bought halo and body guard to mix my exact shade since i am in between both those shades in the winter halo is perfect in the summer bodyguard is great easy application but it does dry a little quick if you dont work fast enough February 1, 2012
Good coverage I am not a fan of heavy foundations but often tinted moisturizers leave something to be desired in the coverage department. This one hits the jackpot. Pretty good! I have this moisturizer in the older pump bottle. It's alright! It feels a little greasy like a silicon kind of finish. It has very little pigment to it, so don't expect coverage. It's nice when you actually need to put moisturizer on and want a wee bit of color, so it isn't an added step. March 5, 2013
Perfect for the summer months. This is my replacement for foundation in the hotter months. With just enough tint to make me look good and some spf to keep me safe in the sun.
