Perfect! I was on here months ago agonizing over my intense desire for the eyeshadows in Loaded and Mushroom. Those two eyeshadows were just screaming my name. I NEEDED them, PLUS I needed a matte nude for blending. So that’s three eyeshadows for which I came to call. I came across the Smoked palette because I can’t just come to UD’s website exactly for what I need. I have to peruse. The palette, much to my pleasure, contained Loaded, Mushroom, and a couple of matte nudes, plus other colors I found VERY exciting (Rockstar and Evidence.) And it came with a full sized Perversion eyeliner and I was nearly out of eyeliner. PLUS it came with some more eyeshadow primer. (I didn’t much care about the little book.) So either spend a lot for three singles, or less for everything I wanted and so much more. It was the easiest choice I’ve ever had to make here. The colors are beautiful. I’m not going to hold any feet to the fire over the “smokey eye” color issue; I just love all of these colors and am so glad to have gotten them in such a convenient way. I love this palette! It’s knocked all the dark neutrals off of my “need” list. I can now focus on my favorite brights and bolds! My absolute favorites from this palette are, not surprisingly, Loaded and Mushroom, but the Perversion pencil is almost a nub and the mattes are nearly showing pan because I use them so much. This is an EXCELLENT investment. March 7, 2013

The Best to Ever Happen to my Makeup Routine I have always been a lover of dark shadows and smoked eye look. I usually stuck with the typical colors of brown and black, in matte texture. At the encouragement of my friend, I bought this palette to try new colors and shimmers. I ordered Smoked palette and Naked 1, but ended up returning Naked 1 because it was too sparkly and glittery. The Smoked Palette is beyond perfection!!!!! The colors are chic and sophisticated, and perfect for professionals in an office or for going out for a sexy look. My issue with Naked was it was to sparkly for everyday wear if you work in an office setting. The brown, black and greys are lovely, and buttery to apply. The colors go on nice and dark. The colored shadows purple, blue, and green when applied do not look like the bright colors in their powder form. They are not teenybopper colors and bright, but very subtle dark colors. Some people have complained that when applied they all look like the same color. Yes, the shadows do look so dark that it is hard to see the "color" but it is still beautiful. The matte highlight colors are wonderful as well. They are truly matte so the smokey eye pops. The included booklet is so helpful if you want ideas. Of course the bonus primer and FULL sized pencil so wonderful. The pencil is dark and goes great with the colors. When using the primer, the color lasts all day. There is some fallout when applying, but that is not unusual for dark colors. This is seriously the best makeup purchase of my life, and I feel like I never need any other shadows. All ten colors are incredible and I am excited to wake up and try new combos with these colors. My life is changed! I hope Urban Decay keeps this in the permanent collection forever! March 1, 2013
