IN LOVE with this palette!
This is definitely one of my top favorite UD palettes. Smokey eyes are my favorite eye look and this palette makes it super easy to do them in different colors! This palette is portable, gorgeous, saturated, easily blendable, versatile and a fantastic value as it also contains an eye pencil (a fantastic UD product!) and a primer (also an incredible product!).

Love!
I love this product so much, no matter what type of eye look I choose to do this is always a palette I use, whether it's for my whole look, or just a brow bone color, I use it! It's always in my travel bag whenever I go somewhere because the colors are very pigmented so I don't have to pack a primer! This is a great product that I'd definetly purchase again.

The palette I would keep if I could only keep 1!
I have a confession. I am about as far off the spectrum of a typical Urban Decay user or their targeted market as one can get. I am older than I’m comfortable admitting. I have never been hip, more like the pretty girl next door. I would be the nerd in the beginning of those transformation videos and end up rockin’ a look worthy of the Urban Decay name. I do love watching videos of those you who can and do rock the smokin’ eye. I just can’t (or don’t have the confidence to) wear them myself. I also LOVE this palette! On me and for my lifestyle, I prefer the simple clean look. I own countless from other brands and all have failed to look attractive on me - or my skills (more like a lack thereof) have led to their failure. Some look dry, some muddy, some have way too much shimmer, and most are lacking pigmentation. Enter Urban Decay. In my wildest imagination I would never have thought of Urban Decay for mattes, flattering shimmers and great subtle looks. Sure they are the brand with the cult status Naked palettes, but most of the videos/reviews with these palettes (that I had seen) focused on the high shimmer/glitter and smokey looks. During a late night random search I came upon a review which mentioned how wonderful Urban Decay mattes and shimmer shades were. This blogger mentioned that the most of the shadows in the Naked and Naked 2 palettes were surprisingly friendly to aging lids. Hmm, off to Sephora and the Urban Decay websites for more reviews. Hmm, the quality of the mattes are mentioned frequently. What does this have to do with the Smoked palette? Well, it explains why someone like me would love this palette so much. Okay, cover your eyes. *whispers* I use the Smoked palette to do the most incredible clean, matte eye. With a splash of color that I love! Urban Decay has what I’ve been searching for. With the Smoked Palette I can use UDPP, Kinky from lash to brow as a base, Mushroom lightly all over the lid and slightly in the crease, and one of the deeper colors to line. I can also use UDPP and the base of Kinky, with Freestyle to subtly define my crease and a thicker line of a color (today it’s Loaded) along my lashes. I can also use that same base of UDPP and Kinky and incorporate the Naked 2 by using Tease in the crease and a touch of BootyCall on the lid, and again one of the darker shades to line. Crazy as it may sound, this is perhaps the one palette I’d take on a cruise or desert island. Of course, once the Naked Basics is released tomorrow that my change. I wouldn’t NOT bring Smoked, but I would bring Naked Basics as well.

A GREAT PURCHASE
This palette is so pigmented and i love how it comes with a 24 hour glide on eye pencil. The colors are perfect for a smokey look and very HIGHLY PIGMENTED. Even with a slight touch of the eyeshadow, the pigment is on your skin. All of these eyeshadows are long lasting and doesnt crease through out the day. Definetly one of my favorites from Urban Decay!

Love it!
Basically, since I bought this palette, I haven't used any other eyeshadow. I love every single colour, and the look book that comes with it is really useful if you're new to creating smokey eye looks, as it will guide you through. It also comes with a 24/7 eyeliner pencil in Perversion, and the Original Primer Potion, in the handy travel size tube. Most of the colours have the usual amazing pigment that you would expect of Urban Decay, though the blue colour (Evidence) isn't quite as pigmented as I would like, however a more intense colour can be built up with a few layers, and I haven't tried applying the eyeshadows wet, which could also make a difference. This palette is a definite recommend, team this with a few good quality brushes and it's all you could ever need for a streamlined make up bag! The zip up bag that it comes in is also a great feature, it gives great peace of mind that the shadows won't be damaged when you're on the go.

Just awful...
First off I had high hopes for this pallet. Unfortunately NOTHING about this pallet met my expectations. First things first. The shadows...not only do they burn and itch my eyes but the quality is POOR! The pigmentation is OK but it is nearnly impossible to blend. That being said...a smokey eye will not look right if the colors don't blend. KINKY and FREESTYLE are chalky and don't show up on my skin. They have a lot of fallout. Its also very irking to me that the shadows are not full size but you are still paying a heap of money. EVIDENCE, ROCKSTAR, and LOADED are so dark and inky when put on that they might as well have just been black. Also, why are there 2 dark gray colors?!? BACKDOOR is so dark that it shows up practically black as well. So pretty much you get about 5 blacks, a few grays, and two chunks of chalk in this pallet.
Now on to my issues with the eyeliner...YES the 24/7 eye pencil in PERVERSION is very black but it also gets all over your face in a matter of minutes! The smudging and smearing is horrific! This also burns my eyes and gets a nasty film all over my eyeball that turns them bright red. Within 10 minutes the eye liner was literally running down my face. No primer can save this liner. Also you have to sharpen the liner every single time you use it! My pencil was also deformed looking when I got it. It looked crooked.
Now on to the packaging...what were you thinking?!? Honestly I loathe the packaging. The shadows come set in a very cheap cardboard box thing that is roughly glued onto the rubbery zipper case. Hint the cardboard falls off fairly easily. It just seems very cheap and flimsy.
On to the look book...I was really excited to read it but when I tried to use it I was highly disappointed. I feel like the methods and steps could be a bit ambiguous and confusing. Some steps also seem very illogical to achieve the look. The pictures are truely no help at all. I feel like this was used as a cheap gimmick.
Finally, the mini primer potion...its not horrible but it is super small and different than the formula originally used. Not sure if I like it.
Final thoughts...I would not reccomend this to anyone. Instead try the Naked or Naked2 pallets. They are much better and give you more bang for your buck. I'm just being real and honest here. Hope this helps!

Perfect! :)
i bought this palette and was a little scared 'cause i'm blonde and have light skin, and I don't wear a lot of dark colors. But WOW, they are so gorgeous! I can wear the lighter colors on day, and at night just put a little more color and it's perfect!
I'm a huge fan of the naked palettes, and this one just complete my make up perfectly! :)

This is a GREAT smokey palette. It is completely different from the Naked palettes. The pigmentation is amazing and you can create soo many looks. And I love the booklet that comes with this palette, I feel like I can be a pro makeup artist. And I love that it comes with a full size eyeliner. This is a must have if you are into smokey looks!

My go to for going out
This is the best pallet I have used. It is perfect to create the best looking smokey eye for going out. The tip booklet is amazing and has helped me perfect the look. Every time I go out I get complements on how great my eye make up looks. Love it. Bought it for my cousin and some girlfriends as Christmas presents because I love it so much!

Lovely, ritch, intence color payoff
I think this is a beautiful pallet! The color payoff is great and i especially love the mat black! I love that while its a "smoky" pallet, it still contains an excelent base and highlight that i can still use even when im not going for a smoky eye. Over all, its a great pallet to add to your collection if you love a smokey eye with an edge!

Awesome Palette
I reach for this palette frequently when I am going out at night. Great colors, and you can do several looks just with this palette. I do wish it had a shimmery highlight (I am very fair so usually use Zephyr!), but I don't mind adding that. I do like the book that came with hit, and the pencil is my all time favorite for my waterline.

This is by far one of my favorite palettes by Urban Decay! The colours are so bright and vivid, and the colour pay-off is truly amazing. I love that they included bright jewel tones in this palette to give a huge range of colour options versus the traditional neutral and grey. A must-have for any die-hard Urban Decay makeup junkie!

Great balance of color
I adore all of the Urban Decay palettes, but I am a particular fan of a more colorful palette, and this is a new favorite.
Asphalt is a wonderful color, and my favorite in the palette, and it blends really nicely with the lighter colors. Another favorite feature is the super light Kinky, as it balances out the darker colors well.

Must-have!
I had a bit of extra money and decided to go out to Ulta, and let me tell you, it was love at first sight! I had heard a lot about the smoked palette and all the buzz surrounding it, and while I thought it was pretty, I saw no real purpose for it in my make-up collection. I'm still in High School, so a dramatic smokey eye is definitely odd for walking down the halls. I've always been afraid of deep colors, as a black eyeshadow can go from sexy smokey eye to being punched in the face in seconds, and I never seemed to find the right balance. The colors on the palette are gorgeous, a nice variety between matte and shimmer, and beautiful consistency. The step by step book made it easy to recreate smokey eye looks and create your own! I was in love. I found it easy to make simple, school-friendly neutral smokey eyes, as well as dramatic, colorful looks. Must have palette, will definitely use for special events (and maybe school dances) when I want to stand out!

Great smoky eye palette! The colors work well with any eye color or skin tone. I highly recommend this product. I like to use it with Eyeshadow Primer Potion and De-Slick for a flawless look that lasts. My only criticism is that some of the looks require over 10 steps, so it can be a bit of a challenge to get it exactly right.

Urban Decay has truly outdone themselves with their new formulated eyeshadows. All the shadows truly feel like velvet!!! You can see the quality of the product! the shades go on super smooth and the colors are intense. The only thing i would liked is for the light color to be lighter and a bit shimmery (like zephyr). But that's just me :)

Most versatile eye palette you can have
This is my go-to palette. You will use every color in this palette. You can go from day to night, smokey to light. It has the perfect blend of matte and shimmer, neutral and colorful shades. The only thing that you'll need is a light shimmer for highlighting the inner corner and mascara. This eye palette may be all you need.

variety of colors & great for travel :)
I love this palette! Great for creating smokey eyes but versatile enough to tone it down to create everyday looks. It comes with a handy make-up guide that features several drawings with directions on how to create different looks using the different eyeshadows.
The colors are rich and buttery and very easy to blend. One thing I would have loved is for them to have included a shimmery base color since the 2 base colors are both somewhat matte. The rest of the shades are more metallic. It also comes with a 24/7 pencil in Perversion which has very good staying power, as well as a mini size of the Primer Potion which can come in handy during travelling. So far, I've created a couple of looks using different shadow combinations and I have gotten compliments to each and every one. The packaging is somewhat bulky in the sense that it's not a flat palette but it's compact enough and secure in its little zippered pouch. Over-all another great palette from Urban Decay!

Must-have palette!
I picked this up the other week and it has replaced all other shadows and liners since then. I absolutely love it. It has a great selection of colours, from the basic ones you need for a traditional smokey eye, to some all-out showstoppers in jewel tones. They go on smooth and blend perfectly. The look booklet gives a great variety of super-detailed looks, or you can always just do the traditional lid, crease, highlight for a less dramatic, but still stunning, daytime look. My favourites are still Loaded, Rock Star and Evidence for their amazing popping colours!
And I have to say, I need never buy another pencil liner after using Perversion. It is the. Blackest. Liner. EVER. It goes on so smoothly, I've never seen such amazing pigment from a pencil. It's all rounded out by a mini-primer potion (I can never get enough of these). I feel like such a fangirl, but honestly, after getting this palette I need never buy any eye makeup again. Obviously I will though!!!

Great selection of colors
This is a great palette for someone who likes the dark deep colors. I use mine weekly, I am a big fan of the colors within this they are very true to the picture and go on very nicely. I like to use this palette when going out to create a smoky eye, I usually pair it will the big fatty mascara to create a really sexy eye

Fantastic!
This is a great palette - all the colors are creamy and pigmented. The shade range is perfect for that smoked look (or a neutral look!) and I like that there's a balance of mattes and shimmers I prefer this sturdy zip packaging to the cardboard packaging of other palettes and I'll definitely be using it for travel!

A must-have eyeshadow palette!
My friend brought me the smoked palette from UK and I was amazed! Eyeshadows are well pigmented and they last really long even when using UD eyeshadow primer potion :) They are very easy to use and they create wonderful smokey eye. I also love the colors because the colors used in this palette are my favourite!

Great way to spice up your smokey eye
The jewel tones are simply striking! As a professional artist I have grown tired of the traditional monochromatic smokey eye. This palette allows me to producing an alluring new age smokey. I am in love with my smoked palette. I wear it all the time and the book that came with it oh my God very informative. What can i say urban decay you out did yourselves. I love the fact that i can wear the brown shades during the day for a softer smoky eyes and the blue and green for club night with my girls.

Best smoked palette
I have bunch of other smoked palettes from different brands but I always reach out to this one because it has better selection of colors and pigmentation. I think this is better than the original smoked palette UD came out with few years ago. I dont even use the primer because the color pay off is so great.

Urban Decay has done it again! The Smoked Eyeshadow Palette is to die for! The colors are great, they go on easily and stay on! I couldn't have asked for a better eyeshadow palette. Love this palette and the "tutorial" book is a great plus since it shows just how many looks you can create with this palette.. and many many more.
the shades go on super smooth and the colors are intense. The only thing i would liked is for the light color to be lighter and a bit shimmery (like zephyr). But that's just me :)

Most versatile eye palette you can have
This is my go-to palette. You will use every color in this palette. You can go from day to night, smokey to light. It has the perfect blend of matte and shimmer, neutral and colorful shades. The only thing that you'll need is a light shimmer for highlighting the inner corner and mascara. This eye palette may be all you need.

variety of colors & great for travel :)
I love this palette! Great for creating smokey eyes but versatile enough to tone it down to create everyday looks. It comes with a handy make-up guide that features several drawings with directions on how to create different looks using the different eyeshadows.
The colors are rich and buttery and very easy to blend. One thing I would have loved is for them to have included a shimmery base color since the 2 base colors are both somewhat matte. The rest of the shades are more metallic. It also comes with a 24/7 pencil in Perversion which has very good staying power, as well as a mini size of the Primer Potion which can come in handy during travelling. So far, I've created a couple of looks using different shadow combinations and I have gotten compliments to each and every one. The packaging is somewhat bulky in the sense that it's not a flat palette but it's compact enough and secure in its little zippered pouch. Over-all another great palette from Urban Decay!

Must-have palette!
I picked this up the other week and it has replaced all other shadows and liners since then. I absolutely love it. It has a great selection of colours, from the basic ones you need for a traditional smokey eye, to some all-out showstoppers in jewel tones. They go on smooth and blend perfectly. The look booklet gives a great variety of super-detailed looks, or you can always just do the traditional lid, crease, highlight for a less dramatic, but still stunning, daytime look. My favourites are still Loaded, Rock Star and Evidence for their amazing popping colours!
And I have to say, I need never buy another pencil liner after using Perversion. It is the. Blackest. Liner. EVER. It goes on so smoothly, I've never seen such amazing pigment from a pencil. It's all rounded out by a mini-primer potion (I can never get enough of these). I feel like such a fangirl, but honestly, after getting this palette I need never buy any eye makeup again. Obviously I will though!!!

Great selection of colors
This is a great palette for someone who likes the dark deep colors. I use mine weekly, I am a big fan of the colors within this they are very true to the picture and go on very nicely. I like to use this palette when going out to create a smoky eye, I usually pair it will the big fatty mascara to create a really sexy eye

Fantastic!
This is a great palette - all the colors are creamy and pigmented. The shade range is perfect for that smoked look (or a neutral look!) and I like that there's a balance of mattes and shimmers I prefer this sturdy zip packaging to the cardboard packaging of other palettes and I'll definitely be using it for travel!

A must-have eyeshadow palette!
My friend brought me the smoked palette from UK and I was amazed! Eyeshadows are well pigmented and they last really long even when using UD eyeshadow primer potion :) They are very easy to use and they create wonderful smokey eye. I also love the colors because the colors used in this palette are my favourite!

Great way to spice up your smokey eye
The jewel tones are simply striking! As a professional artist I have grown tired of the traditional monochromatic smokey eye. This palette allows me to producing an alluring new age smokey. Loaded and evidence are my two most fave colors! Complements all skin tones without looking clownish. Another home run UD!

great color choice
I am in love with my smoked palette. I wear it all the time and the book that came with it oh my God very informative. What can i say urban decay you out did yourselves. I love the fact that i can wear the brown shades during the day for a softer smoky eyes and the blue and green for club night with my girls.

Oh my gosh, it's perfect!
I LOVEEEEEEEE THIS PALETTE! Seriously, it's perfect because it has neutral colors, bright colors, matte colors, shimmery colors - everything! I love a good smokey eye and this palette makes it so easy to achieve that look. Also, the look book that comes with it is awesome. I would recommend this to everyone!

Best smoked palette
I have bunch of other smoked palettes from different brands but I always reach out to this one because it has better selection of colors and pigmentation. I think this is better than the original smoked palette UD came out with few years ago. I dont even use the primer because the color pay off is so great.

This product is amazing!
Urban Decay has done it again! The Smoked Eyeshadow Palette is to die for! The colors are great, they go on easily and stay on! I couldn't have asked for a better eyeshadow palette. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a great way to do the smoky eye! I am definitely satisfied with this product.
