Prefer this over any other smokey palette
The name is so apt and so are the colors . I loveeee this paltte over any other palette ; a good mix of smokey shades with highlighter to go with it . I dont think i would buy any more smokey eyeshadow palette .. it is all in all complete palette and same like UD naked which never disappointed me . If you are someone who wants a handy palette for easy to do , no fuss smokey eyes then you mustttt get this :D Being in India I dont have any access to UD , but i make sure whenever somebody is coming to india I ask them to get the UD palette for me . So far I have like 4 - 5 palette and love them all ... i sadly missed out on "Vice paltte" and regret it badly .

I love this palette. Great packaging.
I am so excited about this palette. I really love it. The eyeshadows are typical UD: smooth, and highly pigmented. I love that they included jewel tones in here and not only traditional smokey eye colors of gray & black. You can create a smokey look using any color really, its more in the technique than the color. A jeweled tone smokey eye will be a go-to for fall I believe. This palette will also take you from day tonight. You can use the first 3 colors to create an office friendly look, then smudge in some black eyeliner (included) and darken up the look to take you to after work drinks/dinner. I really love the packaging here. This is super portable, and the zipper makes it so you dont have to worry about anything spilling out in your bag. Great for a girl on the go. I'm very impressed with this palette, and think its a nice addition to my collection.

PERFECT SMOKE!
These are gorgeous SMOKY shades! Long gone are the days of a black & grey only smoky eye. A colored smoky eye is all the rage this season. I'm a pro MUA but, you don't have to be one to know how to create a colored smoky eye and this palette makes it very easy to do just that. Blackout & backdoor are ideal catalysts for the brighter shades. It's perfect for Fall-Winter too & compliments any skin tone & eye color. Highly recommend!

Amazing and easy to use
I've always liked the look of a smokey eye, but anytime I've tried it on myself, I end up looking like a 10 year old playing in her mom's makeup kit.
The big seller for me with this palette was the 27 page booklet that comes with it. 12 looks to try with detailed directions on how to get the look. In addition to that, there are technique tips in the last two pages along with pictures of the brushes to use. Once I read that, I bought it.
I haven't tried all of the looks yet, but the ones I have tried have come out looking AMAZING. I never thought I'd be able to pull off these looks but I haven't been disappointed yet!
The colors are all beautiful and they go on so smoothly and brightly. The pencil you get with it sticks so well that my waterlines were lined the following day even after I used makeup remover.
I love this palette and can not recommend it enough.

Do yourself a favor and get the Smoked Palette!
I ordered the palette as soon as I saw it and I couldn't be happier with it! I admit, I thought a smoky palette would be blacks/greys but I'm so glad UD added some deep jewel tones to create a color smoke look. I'm loving the new colors, especially Barlust and Asphalt, and I have a new appreciation for repeat color Loaded. I have just about every UD palette and I honestly like this better than the Nakeds. Aside from the colors, you get a full size Perversion 24/7 pencil, primer potion, and a look book with some good ideas. Perfection!!

Great Smokey Palette
This palette is full of buttery pigmented shadows that can be used to create soft and dramatic looks. The packaging is sturdy so it would suitable for traveling. The eye liner is super black and creamy. The primer potion feels more creamy and you get a how to guide of different "smokey" looks.
Overall you get some great products for a great price. I wish the palette had more softer shadows like a shimmery beige and maybe a micro glitter pink shadow to add a bit more fun to the palette.
Two of the shadows were a bit on the dry side (still very pigmented just not so buttery). That's why I rated this palette a 4. I made a HD video showing how the palette looks and I have included some swatches.

Does NOT compare to Naked palettes
Just NOT impressed. The eye shadows(AS ALWAYS) are amazing! The color choice is nice, with a good variety of hues for many many looks. And you get a book, potion primer, and perversion eyeliner which is great. But I feel like this doesn't come close to being "the biggest thing since naked". The packaging(to me) is a little cheap when compared to naked. It's zips up(which is a nice twist) but the cardboard base is a little flimsy, and my mirror pops right out. I guess it's unfair to judge this palette on aesthetics alone, but for the price I feel entitled to be picky. For me the only good thing about this was getting to try UD eyeliner, and the shade mushroom(which is really beautiful)..but that's about it. I would NOT repurchase, but will keep for novelty.

Great palette for everyone!
I can't imagine anyone who couldn't use Urban Decay Smoked palette. The colors are universally flattering and enable anyone to make a beutiful neutral or colorful make up.
The palette is great for someone who finds the Naked palettes too neutral, but it's also great addition to those who own Naked palette(s), since it got darker shades and also some colors.
Primer and eye pencil makes it a complete set to create eye make up. You'll only need to add your favourite mascara. The little look book included gives nice tips and inspiration to both make up junkies and newbies.
All this and everything in fantastic quality.What more could you ask!? I love Smoked palette!

Smokey Made Easy!
I for one have never ever ever ever tried to do any smokey eye. I've gotten as far as getting a darker color in the crease and a more dramatic liner but that's about it. But with this kit and the look book it's soo easy. I tried the look Rockstar so far, at first i thought, oh no!!! raccoon eyes! But once I had on the rest of my face makeup, it looked soooo awesome!! Perfect for my night out. Love the colors in this kit and the texture as well. I honestly never would've ventured into doing smokey eyes without the help of this kit and can't wait to try another look from the book!!

UD makes another winner
I really enjoy this palette. I just got it today and it is full of awesome shades that I was about to buy but I saw them in this palette and was really glad I bought this. The colors in the new formulation are super smooth and richly pigmented. The liner truly is the darkest liner I have ever seen. It can be inky for smoldering look or smooth for a soft and subtle look. Thank you UD! I also want to add in how wonderful it was to receive the new makeup samples. I was just wondering the other day why UD hadn't made any foundations yet. I am glad I now get to try it:) I would love to see UD make a purple craze palette full of purple shades as well as green and blue separate palettes. I would just be super excited to get those if UD made them, I'd buy them all!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!
This is one of my favorite palettes from UD! The pigment is so great and the selection of shadows is awesome! They apply like silk and blend flawlessly. Not only can you do a beautiful smokey eye, but with the first three colors (kinky,freestyle & backdoor) you can do a great everyday neutral eye! It also comes with the black eyeliner pencil Perversion, which applies like silk as well and is very easy to blend into eyeshadows or use in the waterlines! Another plus is the eyeshadow booklet. It has great tips on different looks using everything in the palette, including the eyeliner. I've tried a few and it turned out gorgeous every time! Definitely a great purchase!

Love a smoked look?
I purchased the Smoked palette right after it came out and I immediately fell in love. I have always been a fan of a smoky eye but this palette includes a "how to" book for so many different smoky eyes looks, I think I have tried just about all of them. As always, Urban Decay's eyeshadow applies amazingly. However, the shade "Loaded" nevver seems to apply right for me, The pigment barely shows up, no matter how many layers I apply. It just looks like a deep grey color, All of the other shades apply flawlessly though. It even comes with a 24/7 Glide On eye pencil in the shade "Perversion" which I absolutely love. This palette is a must for anyone who loves a smoky eye.

Only Smoky Eye Palette you need!!!
First of all, i have quite a few Urban Decay Palettes, eyeliners, primers, setting sprays, etc! I love Urban decay products and their new formulations are paraben-free which is great for my sensitive skin!
The smokey eye palette is unique in that it has multiple colors (blue, green, purple, black, gray, brown) so that you can give yourself a unique look no matter what you are wearing. You just need this palette when traveling, especially if your going to be going out for the night. You dont need to carry alot, as this also has neutral shades that you can use as a highlighter or base. The case is zippered so it will travel easily and the palette is not that big so it will fit in a purse too.
I highly recommend this palette to someone who wants the ultimate smoky eye! If you want more neutrals, check out naked 2, which is my favorite palette for day to night looks.

Cool but not perfect, especially not for fair skin.
I agree with another reviewer here: Kinky and Freestyle barely show up on my fair skin, no matter how I apply them. Freestyle is also surprisingly dusty. That's below expectations for UD, as is the quality of the palette itself. Cheap cardboard for that price? Yuck.
Other than that, this is an awesome palette. The other colors are of classic quality, and compliment each other well. As always, no liner can compare to 24/7 and Perversion is so black.
The Look Book is sort of convoluted in its step-by-step instructions, but it's inspired a few ideas.
Overall, I like the Smoked Palette and I'd definitely recommend it to a friend (especially one who's not fair skinned!).

Very disappointed!
After waiting a long time for this palette to be available in my local store, I was very disappointed in this palette and ended up returning it! The colours all looked so pretty in the palette, but when I applied them (even when using Primer Potion) they all looked black or dark grey on my eyelid. I had been looking for the perfect smokey green and smokey blue and thought I found them, but both of them looked nearly black once applied. Very disappointed, especially after so much luck with other Urban Decay products!

Great colors
I love this palette. I use colors like this everyday so it was nice to see UD create a palette like this. I love that colors were included in this rather than just a range of blacks and grays. Bar lust, rockstar, evidence, loaded, and asphalt were my favorite colors of this palette. The zipper case is really cool too. UD should make more of their palettes with a zipper. I also love the size of the mirror inside of the case too. The extras that came with this palette are great too. However I did not really care for the look book. The pictures of the different looks were great, but I found it a little difficult to recreate the looks based off of the directions given. I would have liked to see this come with a brush instead of a lookbook. All in all, I highly recommend this palette to everyone.

Amazeballs
As soon as I saw this palette I fell in love with Kinky and Freestyle. At first I was skeptical on whether or not to buy, I'm usually more the neutral eyes type and I was afraid I wouldn't use the palette to it's full potential for fear of looking dramatic. But I ended up buying it, the colors are beautiful, smooth, they blend easily, plus it came with an eyeliner and a primer. And a look book with instructions! Couldn't have made learning smokey looks any easier. (: I highly recommend this palette whether your a pro MUA or a beginner, either way it's great to have.

Perfect!!
If you like the smokey eye look, this palette is perfect. The colors are so pretty and dark, so a little goes a very long way. I found that when I am using the darker colors that if I apply them with my finger the color shows up more. When I use a brush the colors are not as dark or they tend to look black. So, I definitely recommend trying them with your finger tip vs brush. The book that comes with it is useful in detailing how to do certain looks and has a glossary for terms used throughout the book. The palette offers so many different looks and variations that it will be hard to get bored with this palette.

Smoked doesnt disappoint!
I received this palette on Friday and havent stopped using it since! You can use it to create more than just smokey looks, it is so versatile. The book that came with it offered a lot of great inspiration and was very detailed. Perversion has become my new favorite eyeliner, it is so creamy and pigmented. As always, I love getting another tube of Primer Potion... you can never have too many! I love how this palette zips up and is so much easier to wipe off on the outside. I would definitely recommend this palette!

Smokey Eyes Made Easy
I have always had trouble creating smokey eye looks. If it didn't come out WAY too dark it came out too light. Maybe I wasn't choosing the right colors, maybe I wasn't using the colors I chose correctly, but I had pretty much given up on the smokey eye some time ago. Luckily UD came out with this palette, for those of us who are hopeless as the smokey eye. The colors are nicely pigmented and the instruction booklet gives me the step by step guidance I have been lacking. AND the eyeliner that comes with it is actually amazing. I have so many eyeliner pencils it should be illegal, but this liquid liner is so simple and the line comes out perfect every time!
I really can't wait go through every possible look with this palette. Thanks UD!

This Palette has everything you need!
I absolutely love this palette! The colors are so beautiful, unlike the the black palette this palette doesnt have the abundance of glitter that the black palette has. You can create a ton of different looks with this palette that dont necessarily have to be a smokey look. I love that it comes with the look book i wasnt aware of before i puchased this palette. The thing i love most of all about this palette is the case, i love that it zips up and is very portable.

Great smoky palette
I've had this palette for a little while now and I really love it. Like any Urban Decay shadow, these are all high quality, easy to blend, and are buttery and smooth when applied. I was afraid some of these colors would be a little dark on me because I'm pretty pale, but I can blend them so they're not quite as intense. I've gotten compliments anytime I've used this palette. My favorite colors from this palette are mushroom and barlust. Definitely buying mushroom as a single when I hit pan on this one. I love packing and the fact that a full size perversion eyeliner was included since I use perversion on an almost daily basis. Overall, this palette is a great value and is great for anyone.

I love the functionality of this palette.
First off, the packaging is excellent I love the zipper, it's so convenient and I feel that your shadows have a less chance of breaking.
The color selection could be a teense more creative but it's still better than other 'smokey' palettes out there.
As always pigmentation and application are excellent.

Love love love it!
At first I was a little intimidated by this pallet all the dark deep colors I was a little afraid also that i would never use it because I have such fair skin that the colors wouldn't compliment me but! I was all wrong you can blend all the colors out to a create a softer look!
The only problem I had was with the eyeliner that came with it sadly its dried out there is no creaminess to it :( but I do have a few more of the eyeliners so it wasn't a big loss to me :P!
But other then that I love this pallet I use it daily!

Great!
Lots of people complained about Urban Decay's habit of repeating shades in their palettes. Although this never bothered me, they didn't repeat one shadow that I know of except blackout! Excellent pigmentation and blendability and always :) LOVE the zipper packaging, makes it very convinient for traveling and just throwing this palette in your suitcase would give you a whole vacation's worth of eye looks since there is a travel size eyeliner and primer potion included! I was glad there was a nice range of neutrals too! The color loaded is absolutely GORGEOUS! NIce twist on the nakeds UD!!!

The color collection goes great together. Very blendable. I am just learning to do Smokey look which is particularly hard for me cuz of my Asian features. But the color choices you have here are easy to choose from. I love it as much as my Naked pallete.

Great kit
I was so happy when I received this product. First of all it came with the bonus extra dark eyeliner which I love! It's the only eyeliner I want to use now. In addition all the shadows in the palette are very pigmented and easy to blend out, which is essential for creating a smokey eye. Finally I love the little book it came with for ideas for different eye looks. When I'm traveling I take this palette and my naked palette with me and they are all that I need. Between the two of them I can create everyday looks or going out looks, without carrying too much makeup with me. Love!

I feel jipped...
Out of six colors on this palette, three of them look exactly the same when you put them on. Like most other reviewers lamented on here, the only colors that look true to the pan are the purple, blue, and jet black. The other three colors - which I was looking SO forward to using - look EXACTLY the same. No point in getting this palette.

Bar lust, rockstar, evidence, loaded, and asphalt were my favorite colors of this palette. The zipper case is really cool too. UD should make more of their palettes with a zipper. I also love the size of the mirror inside of the case too. The extras that came with this palette are great too. However I did not really care for the look book. The pictures of the different looks were great, but I found it a little difficult to recreate the looks based off of the directions given. I would have liked to see this come with a brush instead of a lookbook. All in all, I highly recommend this palette to everyone.

Amazeballs
As soon as I saw this palette I fell in love with Kinky and Freestyle. At first I was skeptical on whether or not to buy, I'm usually more the neutral eyes type and I was afraid I wouldn't use the palette to it's full potential for fear of looking dramatic. But I ended up buying it, the colors are beautiful, smooth, they blend easily, plus it came with an eyeliner and a primer. And a look book with instructions! Couldn't have made learning smokey looks any easier. (: I highly recommend this palette whether your a pro MUA or a beginner, either way it's great to have.

Perfect!!
If you like the smokey eye look, this palette is perfect. The colors are so pretty and dark, so a little goes a very long way. I found that when I am using the darker colors that if I apply them with my finger the color shows up more. When I use a brush the colors are not as dark or they tend to look black. So, I definitely recommend trying them with your finger tip vs brush. The book that comes with it is useful in detailing how to do certain looks and has a glossary for terms used throughout the book. The palette offers so many different looks and variations that it will be hard to get bored with this palette.

Smoked doesnt disappoint!
I received this palette on Friday and havent stopped using it since! You can use it to create more than just smokey looks, it is so versatile. The book that came with it offered a lot of great inspiration and was very detailed. Perversion has become my new favorite eyeliner, it is so creamy and pigmented. As always, I love getting another tube of Primer Potion... you can never have too many! I love how this palette zips up and is so much easier to wipe off on the outside. I would definitely recommend this palette!

Smokey Eyes Made Easy
I have always had trouble creating smokey eye looks. If it didn't come out WAY too dark it came out too light. Maybe I wasn't choosing the right colors, maybe I wasn't using the colors I chose correctly, but I had pretty much given up on the smokey eye some time ago. Luckily UD came out with this palette, for those of us who are hopeless as the smokey eye. The colors are nicely pigmented and the instruction booklet gives me the step by step guidance I have been lacking. AND the eyeliner that comes with it is actually amazing. I have so many eyeliner pencils it should be illegal, but this liquid liner is so simple and the line comes out perfect every time!
I really can't wait go through every possible look with this palette. Thanks UD!

This Palette has everything you need!
I absolutely love this palette! The colors are so beautiful, unlike the the black palette this palette doesnt have the abundance of glitter that the black palette has. You can create a ton of different looks with this palette that dont necessarily have to be a smokey look. I love that it comes with the look book i wasnt aware of before i puchased this palette. The thing i love most of all about this palette is the case, i love that it zips up and is very portable.

Great smoky palette
I've had this palette for a little while now and I really love it. Like any Urban Decay shadow, these are all high quality, easy to blend, and are buttery and smooth when applied. I was afraid some of these colors would be a little dark on me because I'm pretty pale, but I can blend them so they're not quite as intense. I've gotten compliments anytime I've used this palette. My favorite colors from this palette are mushroom and barlust. Definitely buying mushroom as a single when I hit pan on this one. I love packing and the fact that a full size perversion eyeliner was included since I use perversion on an almost daily basis. Overall, this palette is a great value and is great for anyone.

I love the functionality of this palette.
First off, the packaging is excellent I love the zipper, it's so convenient and I feel that your shadows have a less chance of breaking.
The color selection could be a teense more creative but it's still better than other 'smokey' palettes out there.
As always pigmentation and application are excellent.

I Love It
i was a little hesitate at buying this at first. but i went ahead and when it came it was i was excited to try them and i fell in love with it the colors are just amazing. this was my first UD buy and im so glad i bought it. the colors work so well and smokey eye looks great on me. i love love love this <3

Love love love it!
At first I was a little intimidated by this pallet all the dark deep colors I was a little afraid also that i would never use it because I have such fair skin that the colors wouldn't compliment me but! I was all wrong you can blend all the colors out to a create a softer look!
The only problem I had was with the eyeliner that came with it sadly its dried out there is no creaminess to it :( but I do have a few more of the eyeliners so it wasn't a big loss to me :P!
But other then that I love this pallet I use it daily!

Great!
Lots of people complained about Urban Decay's habit of repeating shades in their palettes. Although this never bothered me, they didn't repeat one shadow that I know of except blackout! Excellent pigmentation and blendability and always :) LOVE the zipper packaging, makes it very convinient for traveling and just throwing this palette in your suitcase would give you a whole vacation's worth of eye looks since there is a travel size eyeliner and primer potion included! I was glad there was a nice range of neutrals too! The color loaded is absolutely GORGEOUS! NIce twist on the nakeds UD!!!

Get creative!
The color collection goes great together. Very blendable. I am just learning to do Smokey look which is particularly hard for me cuz of my Asian features. But the color choices you have here are easy to choose from. I love it as much as my Naked pallete.

I love love love this new palatte from UD! I've been getting wonderful compliments from friends at work. I tell them it's Urban Decay, and am so proud it! Every color is just amazing. Great kit
I was so happy when I received this product. First of all it came with the bonus extra dark eyeliner which I love! It's the only eyeliner I want to use now. In addition all the shadows in the palette are very pigmented and easy to blend out, which is essential for creating a smokey eye. Finally I love the little book it came with for ideas for different eye looks. When I'm traveling I take this palette and my naked palette with me and they are all that I need. Between the two of them I can create everyday looks or going out looks, without carrying too much makeup with me. Love!

I feel jipped...
Out of six colors on this palette, three of them look exactly the same when you put them on. Like most other reviewers lamented on here, the only colors that look true to the pan are the purple, blue, and jet black. The other three colors - which I was looking SO forward to using - look EXACTLY the same. No point in getting this palette.
