I believe this makeup will be great for anyone younger than me. It's weightless, provides ultimate coverage, and glides over your skin. I don't care for the matte look it gave my already dry skin, giving it a chalky appearance. Also, in spite of the claims, it totally accentuated any wrinkle I have. March 6, 2013The most natural foundation I've ever purchased For the benefits and coverage this foundation offers, the price is definitely worth it. $38 for 1 oz of foundation is pretty standard in most high end makeup lines, but UD Naked Skin looks more natural than most of the foundations I've used before. The pump on the product makes the application very simple. The liquid consistency of the foundation makes it easy to spread smoothly on the face and it lasts throughout the day! The blurring brush pairs with it perfectly, allowing the foundation to blend into your face and pores. The ingredients listed supposedly have many skin benefits, which seems to be true! I have very sensitive skin and will break out with the wrong chemicals and I haven't had any problems with this formula. I haven't had clogged pores or break outs. Overall, I would recommend this product to just about anyone! It has an array of skin tones to choose from as well as cool and warm tones. This is probably the best frugal choice for a product this high end, since it will last a very long time. July 30, 2012not for me I absolutely love UD and was very excited about this foundation. Did not work for me, at all! The coverage is minimal. I use the karma blending brush. Redness and discoloration are very obvious when using this foundation. Like, frustratingly so!! I'm not 100% sure what "buildable" means but if it means you can put more on and expect coverage without looking cakey and VERY made-up, not so!! Really can't wait until the bottle is finished. In the meantime, I'm using concealer to cover the redness and hyperpigmentation. Expected so much more :( November 17, 2012My Best Foundation I've loved Urban Decay's Naked palette and I've been looking for a foundation for my wedding-- something that wears really natural, but still photographs beautifully and is very long lasting. This foundation matches my skin tone better than any foundation I've ever tried before. I think it's great that Urban Decay provided such a huge range of colors. I have pale, dry skin in the wintertime and this wears evenly and makes my skin look very healthy. There's a demi matte finish that has a slight glow without being shimmery. The coverage is wonderful too. As far as packaging goes, I think the pump is the best. I just pump one squirt on my optical blurring brush and I'm good to go. February 23, 2013Love it! Foundation never seems to last very long for me and tends to make me break out, but I read the reviews and decided to give this one a shot. I could not be happier with the quality of the product. I am a musician, and this past weekend I played a 3-hour concert on a crowded stage, under the hot lights. When it was over, I saw that this foundation still looked as good as when it was first applied (at this point, it had been on for about 6 hours). It also did not rub off on my violin (another problem I've had in the past), and so far I have not broken out from wearing it. I am so glad I decided to try this. March 11, 2013Foundation like NO other!!! I love this foundation! Love the coverage , it's long lasting, doesn't crease and love love that a little goes along way! It matches perfect with my skin tone.. Only complain is that I'm not sure I like how it looks in pictures.. It looks as if the foundation did not match my skin tone. Other than that I love it! It's very lightweight! Sheen finish makes my skin glow. October 1, 2012My new favorite I wear shade 7. I love that the deeper warm colors don't look orange. This has a good medium coverage and an almost matte finish. It melts into the skin and looks very natural without leaving any sticky feel. It doesn't need to be powdered unless you're oily. This fades the look of my pores, covers redness, and makes my acne scars and dark circles less noticeable, so I can get away with using a second coat on trouble spots instead of using concealer (it builds well). The only negatives are that it makes me look a little shiny ( but not ghostly) in photos, and doesn't last long in hot, humid weather. March 5, 2013About time! Firstly, I'd like to express my surprise at some of the highly negative comments left regarding this foundation. This is CLEARLY not down to the foundation but most probably down to how it is being applied! You cannot blame a foundation for looking CAKEY when it is openly stated to replicate 'NAKED SKIN'!! I certainly havent experienced the 'Cake' effect that one or two disgruntled people have stated. So, the review, and a solution to the above problem! As a make-up artist who used to use Make Up Forever as my chosen foundation for clients, I always felt that nothing would come close...that is until I was given a sample of the new Naked Skin Foundation. It does exactly what it says in the name! I have found it a complete nightmare trying to find a foundation that suits ALL skin types, a foundation that sits on the skin amazingly well, one that looks natural enough without looking cakey, one that applies evenly and seamlessly, and one that looks great when working on photoshoots. In my opinion, the naked Skin foundation does all the above. My clients have all more or less commented on all the above.....how it sits on their skin without feeling like they're 'smothered', and how it looks flawless and hides redness and dramatically reduces pores. Now on to the best way to apply it. Those who have written negative comments regarding the look of the foundation are obviously applying it incorrectly and are most likely using their fingers/ a flat foundation brush, or most probably dragging it accross their skin. WRONG! Its best applied STIPPLED on to the skin in circular motions! This alleviates the appearance of pores, minimises lines and creates a soft focus finish that looks similar to skin...plus you use less. Dragging it across the skin just streaks the product. Plus stippling the foundation helps to focus the application on where you need it most, ie, if you have broken capillaries on the cheeks, concetrate on stippling the foundation there...and add more if you need to. It can also be used as a concealer. I have a real techniques stippling brush which is amazing, but I also purchased the Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush #which is half the price!# and it does the job just as amazingly. Ive also applied this product under the eyes and over the skin with a beauty blender sponge and it works fabulously too. Finally...for those of you who require super long wear.....apply a little spritz of the All Nighter spray over the top to set the product. #I use the Oil Control De Slick spray# So...to nip it in the bud.......A great foundation that looks great, feels great, applies well and doesn't irritate, im glad U.D have managed to improve their complexion range to match their fab eye range! Hope this helps everyone! September 2, 2012LOVE IT!! Favorite Foundation! I love this foundation! It is super light weight. It basically feels like your not really wearing any. But it still has great build able coverage! A nice light layer all over still covers most pores, minimal acne, and all discolorations. A nice two layers still feels just as lights but covers so much more. I have breakouts, and I put some smash box concealer on (covers okay!) and then after I put on my foundation is disappears! :-) I highly recommend this to any and all that like light weight feeling foundation with light to medium coverage! And I do not recommend it for complete and full coverage. March 4, 2013Hallelujah This is probably the best foundation I've ever purchased. In fact, I know it is. It was definitely worth my money and I use it everyday now. I can't tell you how excited I was to get this in my mail when I ordered it online. Maybe this goes without saying, but I wouldn't buy the product online without physically testing out your right shade first. Because by looking at it I thought I needed the shade one tone darker from what I really am. I went to an Ulta store and they didn't have any more of my shade left to buy, but from using the tester, I was able to see what shade I needed to buy. I'm african-american and I have a warm, dark skin tone that matches well with shade 10. Before buying it online I read all of these outstanding reviews, so I bought it AND the Good Karma brush. The packaging is SOOO PRETTY and glossy and I felt so excited to get to use them. The coverage is really good.. not EXCELLENT, but very satisfactory. And the shade blends in well with my skin. I did apply urban decay primer before applying the foundation, and it makes it go on much more smoothly. Now, what I REALLY like about this product is that it doesn't look cakey like so many other foundations do. It looks even and natural. The only thing that kind of bothers me about it is that it looks a tad but shiny when I first apply it, so I use a little matte powder or finishing powder over the shiny spots and it looks great! It wears very well and it lasts a long time too so that by the end of the day it doesn't look all old and greasy. I alos really recommend buying the Good Karma brush because it makes the foundation look so much more evenly applied, and it's easier too. So YES, I am happy with this product and I will be buying more when I run out! DO IT, DO IT, DO IT, GET IT, GET IT, GET IT, GIRL! September 5, 2012A Nearly Perfect Foundation I have always had trouble finding a flu ration that works well with my skin tone; I have very fair skin with extremely pink undertones. I was so excited when I found this foundation because the 0.5 shade is a perfect match! With a quick spritz of De-Slick spray, the foundation lasts all day, even in the rainy fall/ winter/spring of Washington State, and I'm only a tad shiny (I have combination oily skin) by the end of the day. When applied with the Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush, the coverage is easily billable and it's a snap to get perfect coverage and blending. The only down side I can see is that it's a tad on the pricey side, but a little goes a long way, so it lasts a good while. March 13, 2013Excellent I am a shade 0.5. First things first - definitely shake the bottle before you use it. The color looked too dark when I first took it out of the box, but when I shook it, it looked a lot better. I applied it with the Optical Blurring brush, which feels amazing on my face! It stayed all day, and I didn't have to blot in the middle of the day. I normally have to blot twice. I'm very excited about this product, since I love UD. I definitely recommend it! August 4, 2012Best Foundation I've ever used! I never write reviews but I feel like I should with this product. I absolutely love this foundation! I normally buy drug store brand foundations since they're typically equally as good as the expensive brand foundations I've tried...... That was until I tried the Naked Foundation! I have sensitive, acne prone skin yet my skin has been clearer since I've started using this! It covers really well, even the dark circles under my eyes (without using concealer). It doesn't look cakey. It has a nice, natural finish. The shade I bought matches wonderfully to my pale, pink-undertone skin which has made searching for a good foundation hard since a lot make me look yellow. I really can't describe how awesome this product is! I also the the brush that came out with this product. It was money well spent. UD has the best quality products in my opinion. August 10, 2012The best foundation for darker tones I have tried so many types of foundation until i almost gave up. I just so happened to stumble upon Naked Skin and fell in love instantly. The light weight formula makes it easy to build the product to your liking and still feels like nothing is there. There has been no rub off on anything. it last me for more than 20 hours without a touch up. I just love it. It is easy to use with all of my other make up and awesome for the UD cream blushes. September 29, 2012Amazing product, from a girl who hates foundation! Ok, so I am not a fan of foundation. They are always either too heavy, not enough coverage, too orange, dries my skin out, etc etc. I've tried numerous brands, but unfortunatly there are not many cruelty free foundation options. Until UD came along! I tried a sample of this foundation, and lord almighty I think we have hit the jackpot! It's like I had new skin when I applied it. I actually own an airbrush but it takes so much effort to use and clean, I swear this new naked skin, gives me a BETTER then airbrush feeling, with perfect flawless results. I'm so happy this is now available in Canada! August 7, 2012Amazing! Feels like you have nothing on your skin! I have oily combination and acne prone skin that can break out from certain foundations. So I'm always skeptical at switching from brands. I think this is finally a keeper! The coverage is amazing even with just a small amount of product. Get the brush! It blends it so well and beautifully! I hate feeling cakey or like I have a ton of stuff on my face--and then to come home and find that its separated; this feels like you have nothing on! And stays put all day. Literally. I take naps often (yes even with my makeup on) and this still looks good afterwards. The only place usually needing a touch up is my forehead but that just can be fixed by re-applying powder. So glad I bought this on a whim. April 1, 2013It is skin in a bottle <3 The title makes it sound gross but when you apply it on your skin you cant even feel it. I went about my day at my family reunion with lots of hugs and kisses and I completely forgot I had makeup on until I looked in the mirror. It didn't rub off on anyone or anything, I couldn't feel it and my face looked natural. The only thing I'm not really fond of is the runny-ness of the product before applying it. I usually pump the product on the back of my hand and I have to be careful not to tilt my hand or else the product will run off my hand and onto my table eek. But other than that its great. I hope you will always make Naked Skin! August 18, 2012LOVE I have never used a high end foundation before but I absolutely love this one. The only problem I have is that I HAVE to use a primer with it or else it shows every single rough patch on my face. But other than that, it is amazing. I set it with powder and it stays on for a good 10 hours with very little touching up. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Plus, you hardly have to use any to get a flawless/natural finish. September 11, 2012Great lightweight foundation I bought shade 4 and it's perfect for my summer color. Eventuallt I'll have to get a 2 or 3. I have acne prone skin and dark spots and scars. When applied properly with the optical blurring brush and a little touch of concealer, the coverage is perfect! I was using estee lauder double wear liquid foundation, but at the end of the day I felt it never let my face breath enough and was hard to wash off every night. I love the naked foundation because of how lightweight and flawless it looks and makes my skin feel. My skin feels softer and I'm not breaking out as much since I've been using this. I don't know what is in it, but I feel like my acne scars are fading with the use of it too. My face is sensitive to anything with an SPF, and I'm soooo glad there isn't one in here. Way to go UD! Perfect foundation, don't change a thing! August 23, 2012Very Nice Foundation I really like this foundation, it is a very thin liquid which is easy to apply and blend. It also feels weightless on my skin. While I do love it I do have some cons: It SMELLS, to me it smells like paint, it does not linger once I have it on, but while it is still wet its a rather strong smell. It does not match my skin tone as well as expected, I might try a shade lighter next time. (They were out of 0.5 and still are so cant try yet, had to go with 1.0, I have more of a pink undertone) While it feels amazing, it still looks almost powdery on my skin (clearly wearing makeup) All that being said I do still recommend it, and I also ordered the optical blurring brush, we will see if that helps. January 4, 2013Amazing product! I went into Sephora one day looking for a full coverage foundation as I've always been self conscious about my skin complexion. When I asked to consultant for a little advice, she recommended that I try this product in the shade '.5' because she said I had great skin and a beautiful fair complexion. The second I applied this light coverage foundation, I was in love. It's the perfect consistency and has the perfect amount of coverage. This looks like your skin, only better. I loved how I looked when I wore this. This I my holy grail foundation and I will ALWAYS repurchase when I run out. March 6, 2013FINALLY! Being a huge UD fan I was disappointed they didn't offer a liquid foundation. I love my surreal skin(trippy) but when I am going out or to an event I prefer a more polished look. The shades are very well blended, they actually LOOK LIKE REAL SKIN SHADES. No milky cast, not overly red (deeper complexions) and not overly golden. I have a neutral undertone and most foundations are either too red or so golden they read grey on my skin. Shade 9.0 is SPOT ON! The new brush is AMAZING! Talk about airbrushed! Best of all it doesn't look like you have make-up on. I wish it was a little fuller in coverage so I didn't have to use as much. Over all VERY pleased. DON'T FORGET TO SHAKE IT! It makes a difference! August 9, 2012My New Favorite Foundation! When I found out Urban Decay was coming out with a new foundation, I absolutely had to get it. I bought it in 11.0 as my summer shade and I fell in love. I have oily/combination skin and this is the only foundation i own that doesn't make me oily and lets my pores breathe at the same time. I also used this for my senior photos and it gave my skin a warm, healthy, flawless glow before retouching. Consistency and Application The consistency of the foundation is very thin, almost watery and the bottle needs to be shaken before use. I found the best way for me to apply the foundation is with a round top buffing/kabuki brush. I let it dry down then apply a little bit of translucent powder after. I only used half a pump for my face and neck and that's saying something because with pump foundations i usually use 1 1/2 pumps! It applies flawlessly and and very easily. Finish The finish is a demi-matte finish which means it is in between a dewy finish and a matte finish so it doesn't look too cakey on dry skin or too greasy on oily skin. Urban Decay did a good job on creating a balance between those two certain finishes that works for all skin types. It is so lightweight, looks and feels like skin once applied, and it also lets your natural skin come through and breathe while blurring imperfections. It gives a nice bronzed glow to my skin. Coverage The coverage is very light but it does even the skin out very, very well. I personally wouldn't layer on this foundation because it can feel a bit heavy. I got 9 hours of wear before noticed some fading on my nose. Packaging The packaging is tres chic. It's very sleek and i like the double plastic/glass so that you can see how much foundation you have left. Overall, I love this foundation. It is a great quality foundation. I am going back to get matched to 10.0 which is my winter shade. I recommend this to anyone who wants a nice light natural-looking foundation and is looking for more coverage than using a BB cream or a tinted moisturizer. I love Urban Decay! I went to my local Ulta and asked for a sample of UD's new foundation. First of all i really like the idea that it helps my skin as it gives me a sheer cover at the same time. I wore it under my Estee Lauder BB cream as well and it stayed on for HOURS!! It didnt make my skin oily, or cakey. BUT BEWARE: ITS NOT OF HEAVY COVERAGE, so those with acne and blemishes will not get the full benefit unless they use a UD concealer :D I would LOVE and would be honored to win the entire FALL collection and represent by making a Youtube video to tell the world how good i feel about this makeup :) August 9, 2012Absolutely LOVE Naked Skin I have tried all different brands and types of foundation, from retail store brands to pricey brands -- and I have NEVER found a foundation that actually matches my skin color but does exactly what I want it to do. I have very red skin with freckles, which I am constantly trying to cover. With Naked Skin, I don't have to use a concealer anymore. It makes my face look smooth and poreless. I have recommended Naked Skin foundation to many of my friends and almost of all of them have fallen in love with it as I have. Plus, it lasts me around 2-3 months, when I using retail brands I was needing to replace every 30 days or so. I will never switch to another makeup brand after being turned on to Urban Decay. March 5, 2013Greatttt I was really skeptical when this product first came out. I heard good things but most of them included the phrase "second skin" and it feeling like it's barely there. For me, that meant that it was extremely sheer and I need coverage. I caved in and got it and fell in loveee! This really does feel like a second skin but it gives the coverage I needed to cover up redness around my nose and darkness around my eyes. If you need extra coverage, you can do a second coat of this foundation and it won't look cakey at all. I just had to write a review about the new NAKED foundation!! I have been wearing mineral make-up (powder) now for 10 years and I thought that I would never wear a liquid foundation again. I recently discovered Urban Decay about a year ago and started wearing their surreal skincare line and loved it. So...... when I saw the new NAKED foundation I thought well, I just want to try it and OH MY GOSH this stuff is AMAZING!!!! I love how easy it is to apply with the new brush. The coverage is great and easy to build if you need a little bit more. I have terrible skin due to a medicine that I have to take, but this makeup gives me natural, glowing beautiful looking skin. I have had so many compliments on my skin in just the first week of wearing this foundation. Not only does it look great when you first put it on, but it lasts all day and it does not sink into my little laugh lines either!! It blends well, but it can be slightly runny. However, my color isn't available. I've tried .5, 1.0, 2.0 to no avail. In between shades (1.5, 2.5) would be great for odd-toned people like me. If you fit one of their shades, this foundation is a must have. Those who have written negative comments regarding the look of the foundation are obviously applying it incorrectly and are most likely using their fingers/ a flat foundation brush, or most probably dragging it accross their skin. WRONG! Its best applied STIPPLED on to the skin in circular motions! This alleviates the appearance of pores, minimises lines and creates a soft focus finish that looks similar to skin...plus you use less. Dragging it across the skin just streaks the product. Plus stippling the foundation helps to focus the application on where you need it most, ie, if you have broken capillaries on the cheeks, concetrate on stippling the foundation there...and add more if you need to. It can also be used as a concealer. I have a real techniques stippling brush which is amazing, but I also purchased the Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush #which is half the price!# and it does the job just as amazingly. Ive also applied this product under the eyes and over the skin with a beauty blender sponge and it works fabulously too. Finally...for those of you who require super long wear.....apply a little spritz of the All Nighter spray over the top to set the product. #I use the Oil Control De Slick spray# So...to nip it in the bud.......A great foundation that looks great, feels great, applies well and doesn't irritate, im glad U.D have managed to improve their complexion range to match their fab eye range! Hope this helps everyone! September 2, 2012LOVE IT!! Favorite Foundation! I love this foundation! It is super light weight. It basically feels like your not really wearing any. But it still has great build able coverage! A nice light layer all over still covers most pores, minimal acne, and all discolorations. A nice two layers still feels just as lights but covers so much more. I have breakouts, and I put some smash box concealer on (covers okay!) and then after I put on my foundation is disappears! :-) I highly recommend this to any and all that like light weight feeling foundation with light to medium coverage! And I do not recommend it for complete and full coverage. March 4, 2013Hallelujah This is probably the best foundation I've ever purchased. In fact, I know it is. It was definitely worth my money and I use it everyday now. I can't tell you how excited I was to get this in my mail when I ordered it online. Maybe this goes without saying, but I wouldn't buy the product online without physically testing out your right shade first. Because by looking at it I thought I needed the shade one tone darker from what I really am. I went to an Ulta store and they didn't have any more of my shade left to buy, but from using the tester, I was able to see what shade I needed to buy. I'm african-american and I have a warm, dark skin tone that matches well with shade 10. Before buying it online I read all of these outstanding reviews, so I bought it AND the Good Karma brush. The packaging is SOOO PRETTY and glossy and I felt so excited to get to use them. The coverage is really good.. not EXCELLENT, but very satisfactory. And the shade blends in well with my skin. I did apply urban decay primer before applying the foundation, and it makes it go on much more smoothly. Now, what I REALLY like about this product is that it doesn't look cakey like so many other foundations do. It looks even and natural. The only thing that kind of bothers me about it is that it looks a tad but shiny when I first apply it, so I use a little matte powder or finishing powder over the shiny spots and it looks great! It wears very well and it lasts a long time too so that by the end of the day it doesn't look all old and greasy. I alos really recommend buying the Good Karma brush because it makes the foundation look so much more evenly applied, and it's easier too. So YES, I am happy with this product and I will be buying more when I run out! DO IT, DO IT, DO IT, GET IT, GET IT, GET IT, GIRL! September 5, 2012A Nearly Perfect Foundation I have always had trouble finding a flu ration that works well with my skin tone; I have very fair skin with extremely pink undertones. I was so excited when I found this foundation because the 0.5 shade is a perfect match! With a quick spritz of De-Slick spray, the foundation lasts all day, even in the rainy fall/ winter/spring of Washington State, and I'm only a tad shiny (I have combination oily skin) by the end of the day. When applied with the Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush, the coverage is easily billable and it's a snap to get perfect coverage and blending. The only down side I can see is that it's a tad on the pricey side, but a little goes a long way, so it lasts a good while. March 13, 2013Excellent I am a shade 0.5. First things first - definitely shake the bottle before you use it. The color looked too dark when I first took it out of the box, but when I shook it, it looked a lot better. I applied it with the Optical Blurring brush, which feels amazing on my face! It stayed all day, and I didn't have to blot in the middle of the day. I normally have to blot twice. I'm very excited about this product, since I love UD. I definitely recommend it! August 4, 2012Best Foundation I've ever used! I never write reviews but I feel like I should with this product. I absolutely love this foundation! I normally buy drug store brand foundations since they're typically equally as good as the expensive brand foundations I've tried...... That was until I tried the Naked Foundation! I have sensitive, acne prone skin yet my skin has been clearer since I've started using this! It covers really well, even the dark circles under my eyes (without using concealer). It doesn't look cakey. It has a nice, natural finish. The shade I bought matches wonderfully to my pale, pink-undertone skin which has made searching for a good foundation hard since a lot make me look yellow. I really can't describe how awesome this product is! I also the the brush that came out with this product. It was money well spent. UD has the best quality products in my opinion. August 10, 2012The best foundation for darker tones I have tried so many types of foundation until i almost gave up. I just so happened to stumble upon Naked Skin and fell in love instantly. The light weight formula makes it easy to build the product to your liking and still feels like nothing is there. There has been no rub off on anything. it last me for more than 20 hours without a touch up. I just love it. It is easy to use with all of my other make up and awesome for the UD cream blushes. September 29, 2012Amazing product, from a girl who hates foundation! Ok, so I am not a fan of foundation. They are always either too heavy, not enough coverage, too orange, dries my skin out, etc etc. I've tried numerous brands, but unfortunatly there are not many cruelty free foundation options. Until UD came along! I tried a sample of this foundation, and lord almighty I think we have hit the jackpot! It's like I had new skin when I applied it. I actually own an airbrush but it takes so much effort to use and clean, I swear this new naked skin, gives me a BETTER then airbrush feeling, with perfect flawless results. I'm so happy this is now available in Canada! August 7, 2012Amazing! Feels like you have nothing on your skin! I have oily combination and acne prone skin that can break out from certain foundations. So I'm always skeptical at switching from brands. I think this is finally a keeper! The coverage is amazing even with just a small amount of product. Get the brush! It blends it so well and beautifully! I hate feeling cakey or like I have a ton of stuff on my face--and then to come home and find that its separated; this feels like you have nothing on! And stays put all day. Literally. I take naps often (yes even with my makeup on) and this still looks good afterwards. The only place usually needing a touch up is my forehead but that just can be fixed by re-applying powder. So glad I bought this on a whim. April 1, 2013It is skin in a bottle <3 The title makes it sound gross but when you apply it on your skin you cant even feel it. I went about my day at my family reunion with lots of hugs and kisses and I completely forgot I had makeup on until I looked in the mirror. It didn't rub off on anyone or anything, I couldn't feel it and my face looked natural. The only thing I'm not really fond of is the runny-ness of the product before applying it. I usually pump the product on the back of my hand and I have to be careful not to tilt my hand or else the product will run off my hand and onto my table eek. But other than that its great. The only problem I have is that I HAVE to use a primer with it or else it shows every single rough patch on my face. But other than that, it is amazing. I set it with powder and it stays on for a good 10 hours with very little touching up. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Plus, you hardly have to use any to get a flawless/natural finish. September 11, 2012Great lightweight foundation I bought shade 4 and it's perfect for my summer color. Eventuallt I'll have to get a 2 or 3. I have acne prone skin and dark spots and scars. When applied properly with the optical blurring brush and a little touch of concealer, the coverage is perfect! I was using estee lauder double wear liquid foundation, but at the end of the day I felt it never let my face breath enough and was hard to wash off every night. I love the naked foundation because of how lightweight and flawless it looks and makes my skin feel. My skin feels softer and I'm not breaking out as much since I've been using this. I don't know what is in it, but I feel like my acne scars are fading with the use of it too. My face is sensitive to anything with an SPF, and I'm soooo glad there isn't one in here. Way to go UD! Perfect foundation, don't change a thing! August 23, 2012Very Nice Foundation I really like this foundation, it is a very thin liquid which is easy to apply and blend. It also feels weightless on my skin. While I do love it I do have some cons: It SMELLS, to me it smells like paint, it does not linger once I have it on, but while it is still wet its a rather strong smell. It does not match my skin tone as well as expected, I might try a shade lighter next time. (They were out of 0.5 and still are so cant try yet, had to go with 1.0, I have more of a pink undertone) While it feels amazing, it still looks almost powdery on my skin (clearly wearing makeup) All that being said I do still recommend it, and I also ordered the optical blurring brush, we will see if that helps. January 4, 2013Amazing product! I went into Sephora one day looking for a full coverage foundation as I've always been self conscious about my skin complexion. When I asked to consultant for a little advice, she recommended that I try this product in the shade '.5' because she said I had great skin and a beautiful fair complexion. The second I applied this light coverage foundation, I was in love. It's the perfect consistency and has the perfect amount of coverage. This looks like your skin, only better. I loved how I looked when I wore this. This I my holy grail foundation and I will ALWAYS repurchase when I run out. March 6, 2013FINALLY! Being a huge UD fan I was disappointed they didn't offer a liquid foundation. I love my surreal skin(trippy) but when I am going out or to an event I prefer a more polished look. The shades are very well blended, they actually LOOK LIKE REAL SKIN SHADES. No milky cast, not overly red (deeper complexions) and not overly golden. I have a neutral undertone and most foundations are either too red or so golden they read grey on my skin. Shade 9.0 is SPOT ON! The new brush is AMAZING! Talk about airbrushed! Best of all it doesn't look like you have make-up on. I wish it was a little fuller in coverage so I didn't have to use as much. Over all VERY pleased. DON'T FORGET TO SHAKE IT! It makes a difference! August 9, 2012My New Favorite Foundation! When I found out Urban Decay was coming out with a new foundation, I absolutely had to get it. I bought it in 11.0 as my summer shade and I fell in love. I have oily/combination skin and this is the only foundation i own that doesn't make me oily and lets my pores breathe at the same time. I also used this for my senior photos and it gave my skin a warm, healthy, flawless glow before retouching. Consistency and Application The consistency of the foundation is very thin, almost watery and the bottle needs to be shaken before use. I found the best way for me to apply the foundation is with a round top buffing/kabuki brush. I let it dry down then apply a little bit of translucent powder after. I only used half a pump for my face and neck and that's saying something because with pump foundations i usually use 1 1/2 pumps! It applies flawlessly and and very easily. Finish The finish is a demi-matte finish which means it is in between a dewy finish and a matte finish so it doesn't look too cakey on dry skin or too greasy on oily skin. Urban Decay did a good job on creating a balance between those two certain finishes that works for all skin types. It is so lightweight, looks and feels like skin once applied, and it also lets your natural skin come through and breathe while blurring imperfections. It gives a nice bronzed glow to my skin. Coverage The coverage is very light but it does even the skin out very, very well. I personally wouldn't layer on this foundation because it can feel a bit heavy. I got 9 hours of wear before noticed some fading on my nose. Packaging The packaging is tres chic. It's very sleek and i like the double plastic/glass so that you can see how much foundation you have left. Overall, I love this foundation. It is a great quality foundation. I am going back to get matched to 10.0 which is my winter shade. I recommend this to anyone who wants a nice light natural-looking foundation and is looking for more coverage than using a BB cream or a tinted moisturizer. I love Urban Decay! August 8, 2012Great investment!!!!! I love this so much everything about it is great amazed at how lightweight it is. For the benefits and coverage this foundation offers, the price is definitely worth it.. The liquid consistency of the foundation makes it easy to spread smoothly on the face and it lasts throughout the day!. The ingredients listed supposedly have many skin benefits, which seems to be true! I have very sensitive skin and will break out with the wrong chemicals and I haven't had any problems with this formula. I haven't had clogged pores or break outs. Overall, I would recommend this product to just about anyone! It has an array of skin tones to choose from as well as cool and warm tones. This is probably the best frugal choice for a product this high end, since it will last a very long time. PROS August 7, 2012SIMPLY FANTASTIC!... I went to my local Ulta and asked for a sample of UD's new foundation. First of all i really like the idea that it helps my skin as it gives me a sheer cover at the same time. I wore it under my Estee Lauder BB cream as well and it stayed on for HOURS!! It didnt make my skin oily, or cakey. BUT BEWARE: ITS NOT OF HEAVY COVERAGE, so those with acne and blemishes will not get the full benefit unless they use a UD concealer :D I would LOVE and would be honored to win the entire FALL collection and represent by making a Youtube video to tell the world how good i feel about this makeup :) August 9, 2012Absolutely LOVE Naked Skin I have tried all different brands and types of foundation, from retail store brands to pricey brands -- and I have NEVER found a foundation that actually matches my skin color but does exactly what I want it to do. I have very red skin with freckles, which I am constantly trying to cover. With Naked Skin, I don't have to use a concealer anymore. It makes my face look smooth and poreless. I have recommended Naked Skin foundation to many of my friends and almost of all of them have fallen in love with it as I have. Plus, it lasts me around 2-3 months, when I using retail brands I was needing to replace every 30 days or so. I will never switch to another makeup brand after being turned on to Urban Decay. March 5, 2013Greatttt I was really skeptical when this product first came out. I heard good things but most of them included the phrase "second skin" and it feeling like it's barely there. For me, that meant that it was extremely sheer and I need coverage. I caved in and got it and fell in loveee! This really does feel like a second skin but it gives the coverage I needed to cover up redness around my nose and darkness around my eyes. If you need extra coverage, you can do a second coat of this foundation and it won't look cakey at all. I just had to write a review about the new NAKED foundation!! I have been wearing mineral make-up (powder) now for 10 years and I thought that I would never wear a liquid foundation again. I recently discovered Urban Decay about a year ago and started wearing their surreal skincare line and loved it. So...... when I saw the new NAKED foundation I thought well, I just want to try it and OH MY GOSH this stuff is AMAZING!!!! I love how easy it is to apply with the new brush. The coverage is great and easy to build if you need a little bit more. I have terrible skin due to a medicine that I have to take, but this makeup gives me natural, glowing beautiful looking skin. I have had so many compliments on my skin in just the first week of wearing this foundation. Not only does it look great when you first put it on, but it lasts all day and it does not sink into my little laugh lines either!! August 2, 2012Great Foundation, But 1.5 and 2.5 are needed I really wanted to love this foundation. The coverage is great, the way it feels on my face is amazing, and it's great for my skin. It blends well, but it can be slightly runny. However, my color isn't available. I've tried .5, 1.0, 2.0 to no avail. In between shades (1.5, 2.5) would be great for odd-toned people like me.
