Naked Skin foundation is light, luminous, and absolutely stunning on my skin. It truly feels like I am wearing nothing, but gosh, my face looks awesome! I use the recommended brush to apply it (which by the way applies it beautifully and is cheaper than comparable brushes). This foundation allows you to build your desired coverage and allows you to actually cover problem areas and leave other spots more sheer. Also, bonus! The packaging rules! I love that this has a controllable pump. I freakin' love this stuff- I'm never turning back! August 7, 2012Finally! The Holy Grail of Foundations! I have finally found my holy grail of foundation!! Naked Skin is just that! It goes on like nothing! It's light and smooth but still gives great coverage without being cakey or heavy! This is coming from a girl who has not so great skin. I have slight acne, BIG pores and EXTREME oiliness which makes find a decent foundation quite the chore, but with naked skin it goes on so light and smooth I don't have to worry about it clogging or emphasizing my pore and the demi-matte formula is just enough to keep my oiliness at bay for several hours which is more than I can say for any other foundation I have ever used. Naked Skin = HOLY GRAIL!! August 8, 2012Great Product!!! This product I am pretty happy with. It's hard for me to find a product that controls my oil, conceals my blemishes and acne, evens out my skin tone and that's lightweight. This stuff lasts a good amount time before you need to do any touch ups to control your oil. About 6-7 hours after application I need to apply some powder to control the oil but it isn't a lot that's needed. Unlike my previous foundation products- after 2-3 hours I would have to do touch ups. The only thing I would gripe about is the price, it's a little expensive but I will admit it's worth it. July 31, 2012Good for normal/dry skin... This definitely does not have a matte finish on me. It has great coverage, but it does slip off easily. I couldn't even get 3 hour wear off this foundation, but then again I have oily skin =/ This foundation is really watery. The pigmentation is good but the formula itself is runny. I think this is like Kat Von D's Lock-it foundation, except this one is more for dry skin that does not prefer matte finishes. If you have dry/normal skin I recommend this foundation! If you have oily skin look somewhere else, possibly KVD Lock-It Foundation because I love it! Both have great pigmentation, but I would recommend this one for dry skin. :) March 11, 2013The best liquid foundation! I've been using powder foundation since the age of 16; however this stuff has totally changed that! I am extremely fair with horrid combination skin (oily t-zone and dry, flaky cheeks). Liquid foundation has never worked for me - it gets streaky in my oily areas and tends to pool around the nose piece of my glasses, creating a smudged nightmare by lunchtime. No more! This foundation applies great; a quick shake and one pump is enough for my entire face and neck. I dot it on, then buff it out. It creates a very natural finish that lasts all day. I have yet to find a better liquid foundation that looks so natural. Love this stuff! March 7, 2013Perfect for Flawless Nights Out This is my new favorite foundation for special occasions. It feels so light and natural on skin and the finish is perfect, not too matte or too dewy. The amazing color selection makes it so easy to find your match. The formula is so smooth that I don't even need primer. The wear is typically great, however, it does tend to wear off when I use sunscreen under it. Because of this, I use it more for night events when I don't need sun protection. I like that the Naked foundation doesn't have built-in spf though because spf foundations tend to make me look very washed out when there's flash photography. All in all I love it and would recommend and repurchase. March 9, 2013Naked versus Colorstay I was so excited to try this out. I received a large sample from the makeup counter. I always wear colorstay foundation and really wanted to break away from the heavy feel. I really wanted this product to work for me. It went on beautifully and I was jumping for joy over the weightlessness of this foundation. It did not settle into any fine lines around the eye area. it also covered perfectly my sunspots. But after around 2 hours it basically slid off my face. I have combo face and it did not even stay in my dry areas. I was hoping it was user error but tried several different ways but the end result was I am still stuck using colorstay. Someday maybe :o) March 5, 2013Great foundation, just wish it would last longer... I've been using this foundation since the day it came out in August 2012. There are a wide range of shades and my shade is perfect. It comes in nice plastic pump so you can dispense as much or little as you need. The coverage is light to medium but is somewhat buildable. I wish the coverage was a little better though. The foundation lasts for about 4 -5 hours before it starts coming off. I do have oily skin which could be factor to this. I do use a primer and setting powder when applying. All in all this is a good foundation that will last for half a day and has decent coverage. The bottle will last several months if used daily. I have tried many of the "top" rated foundations from other companies and some were ok....When I heard that UD was coming out with Naked Skin, I couldnt wait to try it out. I can honestly say I was not the least bit disappointed. The product is easy to use, blends beautifully, and allows me to build more coverage on the days my skin is having "issues'. Naked skin is versitile, highly pigmented #even for a light foundation#, has a variety of shades to match many different skin tones, and lasts all day. Truely a great product....I love it! March 5, 2013Beautiful foundation! I've recently started using this foundation and I love it. The shade 0.5 is the only color I've found in any foundation to be a perfect match for my skin tone! This product blends easily, doesn't accentuate my dry spots, and overall makes my skin look natural and flawless. I'd say this is a sheer to medium coverage; I'm able to sheer it out for a nice light finish, but I can also build it up in areas that I need to! The only problem I have with the foundation is that it doesn't last more than 4 hours on me, even with a powder and my All Nighter setting spray. If it lasted all day, it would be the best foundation I've ever used. March 12, 2013My favourite ever foundation I will admit I was predisposed to like this product - I have both Naked pallettes and I hardly ever use anything else. I was super excited when I heard this was coming out and I went to the nearest stockist on the first day it was available. I thought from looking at the website that I might be a 3.5 but the lovely lady in the shop suggested a darker one and after a couple of tries, we agreed on 5.0 I find the coverage fantastic but it feels like I'm not wearing foundation at all. It's easily the best match for my skin tone that I've come across so far and it corrects a slight tendency to redness that my skin has. I would definitely recommend this product! But deep down, I so missed a liquid foundation. Since I am a woman of "a certain age," every line shows up. This foundation truly delivers. I look at myself in the mirror several times a day in bright light. It really seems like my lines have diminished and I have an ethereal glow. I am in awe. Even one of the guys in our mail room asked me if I were doing something different because I had this glow about me. Wow. Thank you so much, Urban Decday, for this product. And, despite its lightness of being, it gives you full coverage. Unless Urban Decay comes up with something better, this is my foundation now and forever. Thank you. So easy to apply with my fingers or a brush and blended beautifully. Lovely coverage that I could build if I needed to. It felt like there was nothing at all on my face and I didn't have a cakey feeling at all. It's a little bit pricy but due to its excellent quality I would definetly buy it again! Really good for everyday use and I applied a little extra for nighttime. It's staying power was excellent and I only needed to powder where I had applied concealer. August 9, 2012Natural, easy to blend foundation I really like this foundation and found the consistency made it easy to apply and blend with a foundation brush (I used one similar to the optical blurring brush). The coverage and finish of the foundation is satisfactory, as well as the colour selection. I have pale skin and many drugstore companies think pale = pink. I found my perfect match in 1.0, a light but neutral shade. My only issue is the staying power. I always use primer and powder, but after a few hours I notice it wearing off and settling into fine lines. Overall, it's not the holy grail of foundations, but it comes close! October 13, 2012I Am Sooooo in LOVE with this base!!! I have extremely sensitive skin and I like going out and being active. I have never had a liquid make up go on so smooth, require so little for full coverage, and feel so weightless! It dries to a matte finish, lasts for hours (longer if you use the all nighter setting spray) and doesn't do the weird clumpy when you sweat! So worth the investment! I even forgot to wash it off one night and my skin didn't even care the next morning! Any other brand and I would have had a horrible break out! I could not be more pleased with this foundation!!!! I love a natural finish with buildable light to medium coverage and this foundation is definitely it!!! My skin is a little washed out but as soon as I put this on (I use the shade in 2.0) my skin just looks alive and radiant! I love the fact that my skin can still show thru the makeup. I suffer from one or two breakouts here and there but this foundation gives me enough coverage to make me look flawless! And as if the coverage and finish weren't amazing enough, it's also packed full of amazing good for your skin ingredients! All around this is an amazing foundation! I highly recommend it! As an afro american women I don't trust makeup companies to get it right when it comes to foundation shades for women of color. I went bare faced to a trip to ULTA. They had testers and I was able to try the product and match up my shade. I WAS IMPRESSED. #12 shade matched perfect. Its light but gave me great coverage. Dries to a matte finish but looks like skin. And when you use it with the brush created for it... FLAWLESS. Truely. It's for all women but I will purchase this for my pro kit for the women who likes light weight foundation but need good coverage. When I have a very young client I don't like to use heave foundations. I like to keep their skin looking youthful and fresh. This fits the bill. Tried and purchased it for personal use for me and my girls. Love it. My girls love it too. Two words... GET IT! October 10, 2012This is my go to foundation I absolutely love this foundation!! The formula is amazing, and I feel like it allows my skin to breathe without getting cakey. I don't see any harsh oxidizing after application. The scent isn't chemically. Its has really great coverage. I have acne prone skin and this does really well in covering that up. However there are other foundations that have higher coverage if that is what you are searching for. Overall i love the formula, and I love the packaging as well. The pump allows a clean application and you aren't wasting foundation. It allows you to pump only what you need. I highly recommend this foundation, and I will continue to repurchase this again and again! March 9, 2013Great Foundation I really like this foundation. Its sheer and you can build the coverage. I felt like was not wearing any make up. With this foundation, it kept my skin oil-free longer than most foundations. HOWEVER.....I'm so bummed I could not find the right shade for my skin tone. I have the toughest time finding the right color foundation. I have olive/golden under tones and I thought 6.0 would be perfect. So I tried the 6.0, i believe it was too light, and it made me look sick. I tried the 7.0, it a little bit darker but still a little off. I gave it 5 stars bc it IS a great product. March 11, 2013One You Use Naked, You Will Never Switch Foundations Again! Love this foundation! I am very picky about my foundation and don't like to change. I was very apprehensive to try this foundation (as I was happy with my old foundation) and rolled my eyes when the guy at the UD counter was telling me all the reasons why this was good for my skin ... blah, blah, blah. After the foundation was applied and I looked at my face in the mirror, I was in love! Way better than all previous foundations I have ever used. Has great coverage and is buildable if you need it! I do recommend the Optical Blurring Brush as a compliment to applying this foundation. There is a difference in brushes!! March 10, 2013i need to buy again I LOVED this foundation. It blended well, the color range is huge. you could build it up or just use a tiny amount. No 5 oclock oilyness. It lasted what i thought was a good amount. I raved enough about it a girl at work bought it. She wears it with the beauty balm and it looks flawless and keeps her really matte (which she has extreme oily skin). I love it so much when i was at the end i turned the container upside down to get every last bit. I love the packaging. It has two balls in it to keep it mixed well when you shake it which means you dont kill your arm and worry about it seperating. its a stable in makeup. March 6, 2013Hands down, favorite foundation ever! This is one of the best foundations I've ever used. First off, the color is perfect for my pale skin, I use 0.5 which is a cooler shade, however not too pink so it looks great on me. I've read that some people with oily skin don't like it, however, it works fine with my oily skin when I use the right products (UD's Pore Perfecting Primer for instance). It feels great on, the dimethicone in it makes your skin feel like velvet. The coverage is nice, it evens out my skin quite a lot. The places that need a bit more coverage (acne, ugh) are covered when I go back over it with a concealer brush. It looks especially flawless with the optical blurring brush. Highly recommended. March 5, 2013Best Foundsation I have ever had I am thrilled with this foundation. I rarely switch foundations because it is so hard for me to find a good one for normal skin with that wll stay on and not fade away after a few hours of wear, without it turning orange. I can easily give this product an all-around 5 stars because it looks like it feels like I have nothing on, and brightens my face. If you want the air-brushed look without all the work, this is PERFECT! There is no need for powder because it has a matte finish without making you look dry. It hides and really DOES blur the imperfections! It has great coverage and isn't cakey at all. I recommend Naked Foundation to everyone! I use a Optical Blurring Brush. March 5, 2013Light weight, amazing I have combination skin and I love this foundation for me. The buildable coverage works amazingly for me, there are days when I want to wear sheer makeup and days when I want more coverage. It feels lightweight on my skin and the demi-matte finish means I don't need to powder or worry about shine. I love buffing the foundation onto my skin with a damp kabuki brush for a nice sheer coverage. I did buy some for my kit as well and I have used it on some photoshoots and found that it doesn't look as good on drier skins, which I think could be due to the demi-matte finish. Some gentle exfoliation and moisturiser may help or a spritz of UD's Guardian Angel for skin hydration :) August 9, 2012Must have! I LOVE this foundation. I have spent years trying to find the right match for my skin tone and nothing worked until now. I use the 4.5 shade. I All the other foundations out there always looked okay at first than changed colors throught the day. They were also way too pink. I have yellow undertones and this is perfect. I love the everything about it . It looks natural but better. I have to say I did have a hard time with other makeup brushes & trying to get the perfect finish with this. Get the Good Karma brush to go along with it! It might seem a little spendy but it is well worth it and you won't regret it . February 10, 2013Weightless coverage that evens out my skin Naked Skin is my favorite foundation, and I've used what feels like a billion different kinds. It's light and doesn't feel like I'm wearing makeup, but the coverage is still great. I invested in the Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush which helps me apply the liquid evenly and seems to help it last longer - I'm assuming it's because I'm not getting the oil from my fingers mixed in with the makeup as I apply. The *only* criticism I have is that I wish it lasted a little bit longer. It wears off just before the end of my workday. Still, I recommend Naked Skin if you're looking for quality foundation. It's the first foundation I've ever used that has no icky, cakey sensation to it. I just love it! I use the Good Karma brush for the promised easy application and once again, promises deliver. It goes on smoothly and quickly. It dries to a matte finish with medium coverage. I have oily skin and there is no shine whatsoever. This is definitely a first for me. I chose my color via the UD Match Your Foundation and Match Your Skin photos; both resulted in the same color, 3.5, which turned out to match my skin perfectly. The closest Sephora store is 60 miles away, so I opted for the online choice. April 3, 2013Best Foundation Ever Let me start by saying I have horrible skin. Oily in the summer dry and flakey in the colder months, I can't catch a break! This foundation evened my skin out beautifully and feels amazing on my face. I got the 3.0 recommended to me in store which I've decided is a smidge too dark, but it blends so nicely it still looks great! When this product sets it feels weightless, and the finish is very natural looking. The packaging is great and the pump allows you to have control of how much product you disperse, and you don't need a lot. I will absolutely buy this again, I already have a few friends hooked as well! September 29, 2012love this. I love this product. I hated it when I first put it on, it was too light and didn't cover the redness on my face.. but then it like oxidized and it got better. you cant tell that i am even wearing makeup and makes my skin look really good but you can still tell that its my skin! I wish it lasted a little bit longer, and I use primer, and have even tried oil de-slick with it. but I'll take the shortened wear for the flawlesness of my skin haha. oh- and I don't use a brush to apply it. I actually apply it with my fingers and I don't feel the need to use a brush because it's so easy to put on. I definitely recommend going to an UD counter and getting your shade matched beforehand. I even forgot to wash it off one night and my skin didn't even care the next morning! Any other brand and I would have had a horrible break out! I could not be more pleased with this foundation!!!! I love a natural finish with buildable light to medium coverage and this foundation is definitely it!!! My skin is a little washed out but as soon as I put this on (I use the shade in 2.0) my skin just looks alive and radiant! I love the fact that my skin can still show thru the makeup. I suffer from one or two breakouts here and there but this foundation gives me enough coverage to make me look flawless! And as if the coverage and finish weren't amazing enough, it's also packed full of amazing good for your skin ingredients! All around this is an amazing foundation! I highly recommend it! As an afro american women I don't trust makeup companies to get it right when it comes to foundation shades for women of color. I went bare faced to a trip to ULTA. They had testers and I was able to try the product and match up my shade. I WAS IMPRESSED. #12 shade matched perfect. Its light but gave me great coverage. Dries to a matte finish but looks like skin. And when you use it with the brush created for it... FLAWLESS. Truely. It's for all women but I will purchase this for my pro kit for the women who likes light weight foundation but need good coverage. When I have a very young client I don't like to use heave foundations. I like to keep their skin looking youthful and fresh. This fits the bill. Tried and purchased it for personal use for me and my girls. Love it. My girls love it too. Two words... GET IT! October 10, 2012This is my go to foundation I absolutely love this foundation!! The formula is amazing, and I feel like it allows my skin to breathe without getting cakey. I don't see any harsh oxidizing after application. The scent isn't chemically. Its has really great coverage. I have acne prone skin and this does really well in covering that up. However there are other foundations that have higher coverage if that is what you are searching for. Overall i love the formula, and I love the packaging as well. The pump allows a clean application and you aren't wasting foundation. It allows you to pump only what you need. I highly recommend this foundation, and I will continue to repurchase this again and again! March 9, 2013Great Foundation I really like this foundation. Its sheer and you can build the coverage. I felt like was not wearing any make up. With this foundation, it kept my skin oil-free longer than most foundations. HOWEVER.....I'm so bummed I could not find the right shade for my skin tone. I have the toughest time finding the right color foundation. I have olive/golden under tones and I thought 6.0 would be perfect. So I tried the 6.0, i believe it was too light, and it made me look sick. I tried the 7.0, it a little bit darker but still a little off. I gave it 5 stars bc it IS a great product. March 11, 2013One You Use Naked, You Will Never Switch Foundations Again! Love this foundation! I am very picky about my foundation and don't like to change. I was very apprehensive to try this foundation (as I was happy with my old foundation) and rolled my eyes when the guy at the UD counter was telling me all the reasons why this was good for my skin ... blah, blah, blah. After the foundation was applied and I looked at my face in the mirror, I was in love! Way better than all previous foundations I have ever used. Has great coverage and is buildable if you need it! I do recommend the Optical Blurring Brush as a compliment to applying this foundation. There is a difference in brushes!! March 10, 2013i need to buy again I LOVED this foundation. It blended well, the color range is huge. you could build it up or just use a tiny amount. No 5 oclock oilyness. It lasted what i thought was a good amount. I raved enough about it a girl at work bought it. She wears it with the beauty balm and it looks flawless and keeps her really matte (which she has extreme oily skin). I love it so much when i was at the end i turned the container upside down to get every last bit. I love the packaging. It has two balls in it to keep it mixed well when you shake it which means you dont kill your arm and worry about it seperating. its a stable in makeup. March 6, 2013Hands down, favorite foundation ever! This is one of the best foundations I've ever used. First off, the color is perfect for my pale skin, I use 0.5 which is a cooler shade, however not too pink so it looks great on me. I've read that some people with oily skin don't like it, however, it works fine with my oily skin when I use the right products (UD's Pore Perfecting Primer for instance). It feels great on, the dimethicone in it makes your skin feel like velvet. The coverage is nice, it evens out my skin quite a lot. The places that need a bit more coverage (acne, ugh) are covered when I go back over it with a concealer brush. It looks especially flawless with the optical blurring brush. Highly recommended. March 5, 2013Best Foundsation I have ever had I am thrilled with this foundation. I rarely switch foundations because it is so hard for me to find a good one for normal skin with that wll stay on and not fade away after a few hours of wear, without it turning orange. I can easily give this product an all-around 5 stars because it looks like it feels like I have nothing on, and brightens my face. If you want the air-brushed look without all the work, this is PERFECT! There is no need for powder because it has a matte finish without making you look dry. It hides and really DOES blur the imperfections! It has great coverage and isn't cakey at all. I recommend Naked Foundation to everyone! I use a Optical Blurring Brush. March 5, 2013Light weight, amazing I have combination skin and I love this foundation for me. The buildable coverage works amazingly for me, there are days when I want to wear sheer makeup and days when I want more coverage. It feels lightweight on my skin and the demi-matte finish means I don't need to powder or worry about shine. I love buffing the foundation onto my skin with a damp kabuki brush for a nice sheer coverage. I did buy some for my kit as well and I have used it on some photoshoots and found that it doesn't look as good on drier skins, which I think could be due to the demi-matte finish. Some gentle exfoliation and moisturiser may help or a spritz of UD's Guardian Angel for skin hydration :) August 9, 2012Must have! I LOVE this foundation. I have spent years trying to find the right match for my skin tone and nothing worked until now. I use the 4.5 shade. I All the other foundations out there always looked okay at first than changed colors throught the day. They were also way too pink. I have yellow undertones and this is perfect. I love the everything about it . It looks natural but better. I have to say I did have a hard time with other makeup brushes & trying to get the perfect finish with this. Get the Good Karma brush to go along with it! It might seem a little spendy but it is well worth it and you won't regret it . February 10, 2013Weightless coverage that evens out my skin Naked Skin is my favorite foundation, and I've used what feels like a billion different kinds. It's light and doesn't feel like I'm wearing makeup, but the coverage is still great. I invested in the Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush which helps me apply the liquid evenly and seems to help it last longer - I'm assuming it's because I'm not getting the oil from my fingers mixed in with the makeup as I apply. The *only* criticism I have is that I wish it lasted a little bit longer. It wears off just before the end of my workday. Still, I recommend Naked Skin if you're looking for quality foundation. It's amazing. March 11, 2013Great Coverage This Product gives me great coverage , i dont only recomend it because of that but also because it makes you stand out .. In a good way , the first day i got it and applied it , i got stopped and asked what was i wearing and i replied by saying im wearing the Urban Decay Naked Foundation .. They said it looked great and they liked it alot .. even my boyfriend thinks it looks more natural .. i love it because it gives me full coverge and it looks very natural .. March 6, 2013It's True, Your Face Will Feel Naked!!! Sounds too good to be true, but Naked Skin is truly weightless on the face! You will not believe you've applied a liquid foundation! It's the first foundation I've ever used that has no icky, cakey sensation to it. I just love it! I use the Good Karma brush for the promised easy application and once again, promises deliver. It goes on smoothly and quickly. It dries to a matte finish with medium coverage. I have oily skin and there is no shine whatsoever. This is definitely a first for me. I chose my color via the UD Match Your Foundation and Match Your Skin photos; both resulted in the same color, 3.5, which turned out to match my skin perfectly. The closest Sephora store is 60 miles away, so I opted for the online choice. April 3, 2013Best Foundation Ever Let me start by saying I have horrible skin. Oily in the summer dry and flakey in the colder months, I can't catch a break! This foundation evened my skin out beautifully and feels amazing on my face. I got the 3.0 recommended to me in store which I've decided is a smidge too dark, but it blends so nicely it still looks great! When this product sets it feels weightless, and the finish is very natural looking. The packaging is great and the pump allows you to have control of how much product you disperse, and you don't need a lot. I will absolutely buy this again, I already have a few friends hooked as well! September 29, 2012love this. I love this product. I hated it when I first put it on, it was too light and didn't cover the redness on my face.. but then it like oxidized and it got better. you cant tell that i am even wearing makeup and makes my skin look really good but you can still tell that its my skin! I wish it lasted a little bit longer, and I use primer, and have even tried oil de-slick with it. but I'll take the shortened wear for the flawlesness of my skin haha. oh- and I don't use a brush to apply it. I actually apply it with my fingers and I don't feel the need to use a brush because it's so easy to put on. I definitely recommend going to an UD counter and getting your shade matched beforehand.
