Ratings SummaryThe Glinda and Theodora Palettes 403 403Get these palettes before they're gone! When I saw these palettes, I HAD to have them! I have never been disappointed with UD and these palettes are a wonderful addition to my makeup collection. All of the colors are beautiful and apply very well. The exclusive duo-shades are so pretty. The lip pencils in each palette are so rich in color, and don't leave your lips feeling sticky like some lipsticks can. The 24/7 eye pencils are always great. Note: You will need a shadow brush to apply, as these palettes do not include one. UD's makeup brushes have never let me down! February 16, 2013Good pallet..but not amazing. So I got this pallet because i have dark hair and dark eyes and I thought the colors would go better on my skin, they do and they are very nice..but they fall out a-lot and i have to constantly fix my under eye makeup because of it. I love the browns and the gold but i never use the black or the other colors as much. Its an all around okay pallet. The lipstick, breaks off alot and i barley even touch it to my lips, but its wayyy to pigmented for me. and it also stains the lips as well. March 6, 2013Stunning I love the Glenda pallet. I have many colors similar to the Theodora pallet so no purchase of that pallet, but still just as stunning if you do want that one. I love all the shades in the Glenda one especially the color Aura. I want Urban Decay to make it a more permanent shade and yes I would buy the color as it is split between two shades just like that because I love it that much. It's such a feminine pallet and can be used to actually create more than one look and a complete look at that. You don't have to buy other colors to use in cooperation with this pallet because it is a one pallet use for all needs. February 11, 2013Beautiful, versatile colors. When I saw these palettes online I wasn't thrilled. The Glinda palette was a little pale for my liking and the Theodora palette was too neutral. Thankfully I never communicated this to my boyfriend and he bought them both. I love the Glinda palette. The colors are very dreamy and soft, not as pigmented as I was hoping for but still gorgeous. Aura especially. I love the eyeliner, but was slightly less thrilled by the lip pencil. The Theodora palette is surprisingly my favorite. The colors are rich and creamy. They might make me a fan of neutrals. The lip pencil is exactly the red I've been looking for. I'd definitely recommend both palettes. March 5, 2013The Theodora Palette is my favorite thus far! I am a huge fan of urban decay products, and I hated myself for not getting the Alice In Wonderland palette, so I got Theodora's I personally think it's better than my Naked Palette for everyday looks that are smoky and sexy. I have been using this palette ever since I have gotten it. Bone is such an amazing highlight, and beware is such a good base for me. It gives that nice smoked out look Mila Kunis has. Its good for any occasion, and the duo's are very beautiful as well. Great pigmentation as always :) What I like the most is the super-saturated lip color in Theodora. I hope they sell the color separately, it's amazing! Overall, I am very impressed with this product! March 5, 2013Glinda All the Way Alright, since I only had enough to buy one of these two palette's I was in quite a dilemma. Usually I go for a more neutral look. However, since I already own the Naked Palette I decided to go out on a limb and buy Glinda over Theodora. I love this palette and don't regret my decision at all. Tornado is my favorite color since it really makes my eyes pop. The 24/7 eyeliner in the shade of Rockstar which the palette comes with is also an excellent plumb color. I love the Glinda Super Saturated High Gloss lip color. I can either wear it with lip gloss or on its own and it looks fabulous. I also love the container itself. It has a nice large mirror and can easily fit into my purse. The eyeshadow shades also pop out which means I can refill the container with any UD colors I want when these run out. All in all this was a fabulous buy! I will totally buy from UD again in the future! February 1, 2013Theodora Palette This is the second palette I've gotten from UD and was a big difference from Naked2. My girlfriend got it for me as my Valentines day gift and its definitely my go to for a night look now. It comes with Super Saturated High Gloss pencil in Theodora (a beautiful shade of red), 24/7 glide on eye pencil in Zero, and a card that gives you Mila Kunis' signature look from the movie. I initially looked into the Glinda palette before and noticed that most of her palettes had been sold at my local Sephora. Being blonde and blue eyed, I thought it just was a better idea. Butttttttttt, I love the darker look and can create much more usable looks for myself :) March 6, 2013Glinda Palette is a Great Addition! I chose to purchase the Glinda Palette instead of the Theodora Palette because the soft feminine colors were striking to me and simply because I already own similar shadows to those in the Theodora. At first I didn't know having medium brown skin if these colors would show up well on me or look to pale and ashy, but they did not. I can truly say I've made a great decision. Once again Urban Decay has provided a well rounded palette allowing for great variety. I love aura, both the iridescent colors are great for the inner corners to add that pop without the drama of a stark white shadow. The only thing I didn't really like about this palette was the fallout from the shadow South. A glittery mess is to be expected with Oz (silver and gold), but for a color that I use all over the lid, it can be pretty annoying. As for the Super Saturated Lip Color I was underwhelmed as it was just a basic shimmery nude, and is not the most flattering on my skin tone. Urban Decay should really try to keep in mind putting universal colors that everyone can use in their palettes. March 7, 2013Bundle for your buck! This palette is absolutely fabulous! Not only do you get the beautiful limited edition shades, but you can remove them from the palette and add your favorite single shadows in their place to build your own palette. AND you get a super saturated high gloss lip color, a 24/7 liner, and a card that shows you how to get the character's look! You get a lot for your money and the quality of everything included is great. The eyeshades seem especially pigmented and apply so smoothly and the lip color is so opaque with that glossy sheen without having to apply gloss. Every thing about these palettes is fantastic. March 8, 2013Before you go 'Over The Rainbow,' grab these palettes. One can always count on UD to come up with fabulous shadow collections, and these palettes don't disappoint. I purchased both the Glinda and Theodora Palettes. The packaging and the actual construction of the palettes are wonderful. Unfortunately, all too often the durability of the actual palette is an afterthought, and if you travel a lot this is an important thing to factor in when considering palette purchases. Both of these palettes are relatively small in size, and are a perfect fit in any pro MUA's or makeup enthusiast's kit. Two thumb's way up for the size and construction. As I stated before, I purchased both palettes, and I do not regret doing so. Both the Glinda and Theodora Palettes will give you very contrasting looks. The Theodora Palette is best suited for someone that likes a more subtle but darker look. It is filled with more neutral browns and two very unusual additional shadow duo's: Spell and Jealous. Sorry, but I think these 2 pots are just afterthought colors UD used to fill the remainder of the palette. They have nothing to do with the actual 'Theodora' makeup, as they are not listed on the application card detailing how to get 'the look.' They are lot's of fun to play with, but in my opinion, their existence in this palette is completely ancillary. The Glinda Palette is a bit more unique in my opinion. One can create the soft 'Glinda' look, or you can go buck wild and create a really different darker 'Good Witch' gone wild sort of look. With this palette you get a good, but different range of complimentary colors that are a bit more unique in my opinion. Both palettes come with Super Saturated High-Gloss Lip Colors and 24/7 eye liners; Another to thumbs way up. If I could only purchase one palette, I would go with the Glinda Palette for one reason: The Aura eye shadow. When I first ran my finger through this color, I thought it was questionable. It looked like a weird mix of baby blue and yellow cotton candy. When I ran my brush through it and applied it to the brow bone and blended it, I was quite surprised with the color. Once you get the blue and yellowish hue blended, it has a really great pinkish purplish hue to it. It's a multidimensional shadow color that never looks the same at any angle. It's totally bizarre, and I love it. All in all, I think these palettes are wonderful, and a lot of fun to play with. Urban Decay is going to have a big hit on their hands with these palettes. January 29, 2013The Glinda Palette I have the Glinda palette and love it. I would love to get the Theodora palette. I enjoy all the colors in the Glinda palette. Love that the lighter colors are as pigmented as the darker colors. The update to the palette is a lot better. Its nice that you can move the shadows around or traded them out for other colors, Its easy to travel with. It is my first time using the Super Saturated lip color. The color beautiful and its one that any girl wear. It also goes on smooth. Love the 24/7 eyeliners. I have been using one that came with palette like cazy. I really dont have anything bad to say about it. March 6, 2013Both palettes are a great value UD Color Comparisons 95% match= in average lighting looks almost identical 99% match= in great lighting looks almost identical 100%= the same color Theodora Set Broken= 95% Venus (if you thought venus was satin wait until you see broken) Beware= 95% Buck (in great lighting Beware is slightly warmer) Bewitch= 95% Hustle (In great lighting Bewitch- silver shift, Hustle- purple shift) West= 95% Roach/Busted (In great lighting West is satin where Roach is frost but same color tone, Busted is darker) Spell= gold shade- 99% Blitz, black shade- 99% Cobra Jealous= Dark green- 100% Mildew, Light green- 100% Acid Rain Theodora= 100% F-Bomb All eyeshadow colors in the Theodora set perform like the old UD formula (not as buttery and densely pigmented) except both colors of Jealous and the black shade in Spell. The Theodora set is a great value because most of the colors are everyday wearable and make the $49 price tag easier to swallow. Glinda Set Tornado= 95% Rockstar ( In great lighting Tornado is brighter. If Rockstar and Psychedelic Sister had a baby it would be Tornado) Aura= Violet-blue shift- 100% Roadstripe, Rose shift= 100% Fluorescent (Both colors are discontinued from the 90's lineup) Magic= 100% Tainted Illusion= 99% Skimp (Illusion=tad frostier than Skimp) Oz= Silver shade - no comparable UD color, a truly original shade from UD (Wow what a concept, right?), Gold shade - 95% Rush (Rush has no chunky silver glitter) South= 95% Pistol (Pistol has no silver micro glitter) Glinda= 100% Naked lip pencil All eyeshadow colors in the Glinda set perform like the old UD formula (not as buttery and densely pigmented) except Tornado, South and the silver shade in Oz. The Glinda set is also a nice value - pick three shades that you will wear regularly (Illusion, Aura, Glinda, and the Rockstar liner are all subtle colors that could be worked into an everyday routine - and the silver color in Oz is truly exceptional in-person) and the set has already more than paid for itself in value since each individual shadow runs for about $18 and the lip pencil is $19. February 2, 2013Average I bought the Glinda palette and I was super excited for it... however, it wasn't as great as I was hoping for. I've tried working with this palette many times since I got it and this is my thoughts: -The purple color is super hard to blend and it can be messy. The first time using it (thinking it would blend nicely in my crease# it just got all over and it was really spotty. -The gold and silver have SO much fall out and have very chunky glitter. #Apply your face makeup LAST!) I had glitter all over my face after working with these two shades. -The rest of the colors I found were okay. LOVE the pink color. -The lip color is pretty, darker in person than online. -Eyeliner is nice. In the end the question I have is: Was it worth $50? The colors I was most excited about disappointed me. So for me this palette wasn't anything special... Hope this helps! February 3, 2013My new fave! I got the Glinda palette thinking "Well I've already got the Naked palettes so why buy more nude shades" but also thinking "it looks so sparkley, where am I going to wear this?". I have to say, these shades are GREAT for everyday. Even the silver and gold make an awesome inner eye highlight when used moderately. And the Lip color! When I took it out of the packaging it looked dark, darker than I would have would have picked out on my own. But the shade is so flattering! I'm very pale and even with my skin tone it looked nice and really finishes off any look (most lip sticks just look weird with my complexion). I feel this is one palette every girl should have in her arsenal. It's so versatile! March 5, 2013Wickedly Beautiful! <3 I just received both of these gorgeous babies! Let me start off with what AMAZING color payoff ! these shadows are so pigmented they are like butter! Love them! Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color's are WONDERFUL these ones are the first I had ever tried and let me tell you I think I found a new fav! And you can't EVER go wrong with UD 24/7 eyeliner I love it! packaging +Palettes=adorable Would love to see more things like this from UD. Very satisfied with my order! January 28, 2013Glinda the Chocolate Witch I am! Initially I was in denial and thought Theodora was the palette for me. My friends always tell me that I'm bright, bubbly, and all that jazz so I wanted to stray away and try something new. Until I went to Sephora and realized that the Glinda palette was made for me! My Chocolate girls out there don't fret and think this bright colored palette isn't for you! This has to be my all time favorite thing I have purchased from UD! Everything works and looks beautiful on my skin. When I say everything I mean everything from the saturated lip color to the liner. Its AMAZING and a great buy! <3 March 5, 2013Awesome! To be honest, I wasn't too sure that I would like these palettes at first, but I decided to give it a try (also because they're inspired by the Oz film), and so I got Theodora. How wrong was I to think I wouldn't like it. I'm more of a dark makeup kind of girl, but still I really liked the palette, and the look-card you get with it. All these earth colours are super pigmented (maybe except the yellow/gold half of Spell, but that's also the colour I was less excited about out of the palette) and very wearable, and you can create lots of awesome looks with them! I wasn't as happy with the Super Saturated Lip Pencil, but just because I don't really like that kind of colour, but the formula was nice. Last, the packaging was really pretty, as usual. March 14, 2013Wickedly Good!! I knew just KNEW when i heard UD was coming out with the pallettes and got a lil sneaky peak that i would be buying the glinda for sure. I was truly hesitant about the Theodora mostly because it was browns and i have plenty of brown shadows but i figured in for a penny in for a pound!! I have to say it was worth it and i will be buying them both again lol I havent been as in love with some of the shades and combos as i am with the two i wish they would add the colors to there normal stock when the sale ends but sadly its wishful thinking so better stock up now ladies!!! ;) January 30, 2013Once a Witch, Always a Witch! So I bought this about 2 weeks ago and have to say, I'm impressed. The colors are beautiful and I love the get-the-look card for helpful directions. Storm is my favorite shade, a nice medium shimmery gravel shade, love! I also love the 2 duo shadows, mixed, very cool! This is a great value as I have several BYOP and have spent much more than $49 building them. Bonus, gloss and eye pencil in rockstar, a must if you do not own, the perfect plum shade. Now waiting for my Theodora to come in the mail... January 25, 2013Love Glinda! I purchased the Glinda palette and I'm absolutely in love! The colors are gorgeous and I'm really happy it comes with light, bright colors. I think it's really cool because this palette can create a purple eye look, as well as a taupe one. I've found that when I use tornado with south it gives a more brown/taupe look, whereas when you use magic with tornado it looks purple. I'm not a huge fan of the eyeliner or the super saturated lip color, unfortunately. The eyeliner either needs to be darker or brighter, it's just an odd color in my opinion. I'm super pale, so the lip color is just a bit darker than what I would usually wear. All in all, it's a wonderful palette! March 6, 2013Soooooooo Beautiful!!! When I saw these two palettes I knew instantly that I had to get both. So glad I did! The Glinda palette has lovely pale shades that are perfect for Spring, and the shade "Aura" is one of the most unique and beautiful eyeshadows I've ever seen. Plus the Super Saturated pencil that comes with it is my new Holy Grail lipstick. The Theodora palette is just as gorgeous and has a great mix of smokey neutral shades--I used it to create the best brown smokey eye look! Add to all this the awesome artwork on the palettes and the fact that these are a super value for the price and you got a pair of winners! Urban Decay rocks!!! March 7, 2013Couldn't decide so I got both! ...And I'm so glad I did. These are gorgeous! I'm so glad they went with the build your own palette with such cool designs on them. The colors are amazing. These are actually new eye colors, not just existing colors renamed with Oz theme. Between the two, there are only a couple that I think are too close to existing shades. In Theodora, Broken is really close to Venus (Naked Basics). In Glinda, Magic is too close to Tainted from 15th Anniversary. A few might look similar but actually swatch out different. I thought Tornado from Glinda was close to Rockstar but Tornado is a lighter and more purple. West is lighter and a little redder than Twice Baked. Beware is a matte medium brown and looks like Buck in the pan but is lighter. It's a great addition to the Naked Basics palette. South looks like Mushroom, but ends up lighter and less gray. The duo pan shades are awesome and Aura is the most amazing all of them. The Super Saturated lip pencils do seem to be existing colors. Glinda looks an awful lot like Naked and Theodora is FBomb, which looks less orange than the picture makes it look. I didn't own super saturated until these palettes and I've decided they are unbelievable, especially Glinda. Loving both of these palettes and 100% worth buying!!! January 27, 2013slice of heaven I waited a while to buy this. Im so happy that i did. I love it. Right now its a daily use. The color range is amazing. I believe some can be dupe for other brands which is amazing so i dont have to buy them now. I love the gold it is soooo feirce. The greens as well. UD always has great color pay off. The packaging im blown away with and love the fact that now if i have other colors and want to switch them out. When im doing wedding application it makes it easier to not have millions of different eyeshadows roaming around. March 6, 2013Wow! I got Glinda - It is beautiful! It works well for my pale skin and gives me and ethereal glow when I use the colors. The card inside the package is really helpful in making a look too! The shadows are great quality, of course. Although I could go for a little less chunky glitter in the gold shade. It does have a tendency to fall all over my face. The other thing I LOVE is that the shadows are removeable! so if I want to buy any eyeshadow singles, I can switch them in and out of this palette! Also of course I have to mention the gorgeous lip pencil! WOW! great color and great texture. I will be getting more of these. March 5, 2013I love the Glinda palette! I am in love with these new palettes! The Theodora palette is gorgeous but the colors are a lot similar to the colors found in the naked palettes! Where as the Glinda palette is gorgeous! All the colors are unique! You can go with a soft silver look or a smokey purple look! I love the iridescent colors! Its so gorgeous! Ever since I got it, I have been wearing a soft silver look everyday and it definitely makes my eyes pop! As far as the lip pencils, I love them both! Glinda's lip pencil is a nude natural looking color and Theodora is a red:) Great pigmentation! I highly recommend these palettes! Id go with Glinda, if you are looking for something unique and gorgeous! March 13, 2013OBSESSED and IN LOVE! I have always been a huge fan of the Wizard of Oz, and when I heard UD were coming out with these palettes I knew I had to have it! I chose the Theodora set and it is just perfect! The color combinations are perfect for green and dark eyes with olive skin. While I do love all of the eye colors in this palette, my absolute favorite part is the lip color it comes with. It is the PERFECT shade of red for someone who does not wear red well. The texture is so buttery and smooth and will kick up the sexy on anyone. The look card that is included in the set is a great tutorial for anyone who may be afraid to wear dark eyes. I cannot say enough how much I adore this collection! March 5, 2013I'm Lovin' it! This is suchhhhhhhh a TO-DIE palette! I had such a hard time choosing between the GOOD witch or the BAD witch palette because BOTH of the palette looked soooo PRETTY! Anyways, I ended up buying the "Glinda" palette because I already have so many nudes/dark color and Glinda provided the pinks & purple hues. This palette also provide a tutorial GET-THE-LOOK card which was really useful. After creating the look, it turned out EVEN better in REAL LIFE! I can't say I regret not getting the Theodara, perhaps next time. HAHA, all in all I'm so in LOVEEEE with this palette! February 10, 2013Loved! When i first saw these i was in love the with the Glinda palette but then i saw the reviews on the Theodora palette and decided to get both. When i received them and saw the colors on the Theodora palette i was sure glad i ordered that one too. The colors are perfect and the Mila Kunis look on the Theodora palette was really nice and easy to do. I also love the red lip color it comes with! Its so pretty! I just tried the Glinda palette and love it just as much as the Theodora palette, it gives you more of an everyday look.. Overall I loved them and glad I got both. (: March 18, 2013Love, love, love. I love it when UD comes out with Limited Edition pallets! They're always so fun! I work at an Ulta, and therefore found out about these pallets early, and wanted to get my hands on them as soon as humanly possible! I love everything about them! The container they come in, how they're full-sized and you can take them out of the tin, the "Get-the-Look" slip card, just everything! Both pallets are fantastic, and come with a great assortment of "Good" and "Bad" colors. ((Though I could never view Mila Kunis as Bad!)) Any who! I could not have asked for better additions to my already vast assortment of UD eye shadows. March 5, 2013Look like a good witch even when acting like a bad witch. The Theodora palette is my long-lost love. At first I was hesitant to buy it because I have colors that are similar, but once I caved I realized the quality of the shadows and the value of what you're getting for what you pay for made me realize I definitely made the right decision. Zero is a makeup bag standard, and the lip pencil is beautiful full-on but also works as a nice berry stain when blotted, perfect for those that love the colors but don't want to rok full-on red lips everyday. Great value overall. March 5, 2013Ask & AnswerThe Glinda and Theodora Palettes 403 403Get these palettes before they're gone! When I saw these palettes, I HAD to have them! March 5, 2013The WordPro TipsWhen you use up your Oz-inspired shadows, pop more of your fave shades in and out of this palette anytime you want.IngredientsTHE GLINDA PALETTE
