The new Disney film Oz The Great and Powerful tells the backstory of the wizard and the witches from L. Frank Baum's book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Inspired by the movie's theme of good witch vs. bad witch (and the good witch/bad witch dichotomy in all of us), we created two insanely gorgeous, limited-edition palettes loaded with beautiful, never-before-seen shades you'll want to own. We spent HOURS obsessively staring at images from the film (and not just the ones featuring its hot male lead, James Franco) to carefully craft the perfect mix of shades for these palettes.

Recreate Michelle Williams' ethereal, spellbinding look from the film with The Glinda Palette or copy Mila Kunis' captivating, edgy onscreen look with The Theodora Palette. Each one has six pans and EIGHT ALL NEW and exclusive Eyeshadows. Confused? These sets include two 'duo-shades' that are split in half, with a different color on each side of the pan. Not the Best but they're OK I think this product confirms that I prefer UD for their neutral shadows the most. I bought this with high hopes but it really did not meet my expectations. UD makes a lot of great stuff, and yes, some of their eyeshadows kick butt (Naked 2!) but both this palette AND their Vice palette were somewhat of a let down for me. Too many chalky shades that don't apply well, have WAY too much fall-out, and look different when worn vs. in the pan. That being said, my favorite colors from this are the iridescent ones. The gold/silver are pretty cool too, and I like to swirl the duos together for a different color, but the other shades are only so-so. The pink is cute but doesn't really look the same on my eyes as it does in the palette. :( The neutral/beige/brown color is also one of my favorites and I like to wear it alone. I tried to do the look that came with the palette (on the card) and it looked alright but nothing to write home about. Not vibrant enough for my taste, looked to plain/boring. I feel like (non-movie glinda) would have worn OTT pink sparkly eyeshadow with tons of glitter and would be very vibrant, not this subdued boring look. C'mon UD, where's your edgey side? I guess that's why this came with the gold/silver so you can kick it up a notch. But honestly, the fall-out is the worst with those two colors. I found that putting some moisturizer or tape under my eyes during application SOMEtimes helps! I DO appreciate the fact that they made these pop-outs so I can always build my own version of glinda using their other (much better pigmented) shadows if desired! Also a great collector's item for fans of the Oz movie!! :) Oh and as for the lip pencil.....utterly boring. It's almost THE SAME as the Naked pencil. I still use it, but it's so similar to what I already own, that it bums me out. I guess in my ideal world, Glinda would also be rocking pearlescent/iridescent pink pearl lips!! But I guess UD is trying to appeal to the majority of women who walk into sephora to get new makeup, and sadly, that is the mainstream. I guess it's probably a wise decision from a marketing/business standpoint, though. :( March 7, 2013
Theadora palette has the colors I need I own many UD palette and the Theodora palette is a good go to palette because it has the neutral colors and then the green is a nice pop of color. I also love the red lip pencil it comes with because UD red is the only one i lack. The red lip pencil also matches my skin tone. March 5, 2013
Multiple uses I am an urban decay junkie. I just purchased the Glinda palette and I am obsessed. The new eyeshadow formula is awesome and glides on so smoothly. I use the light pink eyeshadow as a blush. You can take this palette everywhere and use it for day or spice it up for night. :) March 12, 2013
Golddigger! I admit it, I got the Glinda just for that amazing gold that comes with it! I've had a lot of trouble finding a true blazing gold that isn't just yellowey! And this one is just lovely. Glinda is a great palette...lip gloss too nude for me I love the packaging and the colors in the Glinda OZ palette. I'm not too sure why Rockstar was added as the eyeliner. a soft brown would have been more appropriate. Also the Lip gloss slick is too nude and one a tan woman like myself it just doesn't make my full lips pop. March 14, 2013

Glinda is Magical. I very recently bought the Glinda pallet, and I am in LOVE. The colors are all different. You have your mattes for everydays, shimmers for when you want to play up the colors, and the quality is amazing. The two main colors I very much enjoy are the “Aura” and the “Oz”. The Aura colors are nothing like I have ever seen. They are almost translucent while still having a strong color making them great for highlighting inner corners or brows or just having a light colors over the lid, while the Oz is a very strong metallic. Small little dabs of the brush and the colors are all too ready to be applied. A little goes a long way with them. Both the “South and Tornado” are awesome darks for a night out. The “Magic and Illusion” are a great pick for everyday looks. Both the “Super-Stained High Gloss lip color and Rockstar eyeliner” are well done. The gloss leaves the lips looking supple and doesn’t dry them out. The eyeliner is a creamy and easy to use shade. The quality is spectacular, UD definitely delivered with this pallet. Must have. love these I own both palettes and Theodora is hands down the favorite. Glinda was a lot less pigmented than the other though so that was a little disappointing. The major bummer was the lipsticks, they were so sticky and tacky I wont use them again after testing. March 5, 2013

Glinda has done some Magic on Me!! When I saw that Urban Decay was featuring these palettes, I had to get online and order one. I went for the Glinda palette first. The colors in that one just jumped out at me. The beautiful grape/purple in "Tornado" makes my green eyes just pop!! And I never have liked peachy shadows, but I am now in love with "Illusion" {pale peach satin}. The duo color pan "Aura" is superb. I love it for highlighting. And that's not all, you get this great palette with a large mirror. You can even switch out your colors when you are done with these. And to make this even better, they have included a 24/7 eyeliner in the "Rockstar" shade. I love the eyeliners, they stay put, and last all day. Last, but certainly not least, included is a beautiful Super saturated high gloss lip color in "Glinda" which is basically a sheer beige, and I really love the lip color, it glides on very smooth, it is so pretty on. Completely Impressed First off the colors of both palettes were So amazing that I HAD to have both. They are completely wearable for the major makeup junkie or by the average just put on makeup because you have too person :) Personally I love the Theodora Palatte the best, because I prefere a darker smokie eye, but the Glinda Palatte is a lovely change up. The colors are blendable and buildable. I gave the Ease of Use only 4 due to I hate that the names of the shadows are not on the inside of the box, next to the shadows, which made it slightly difficult to follow along on the "look" pages. I was constantly flipping the tin over to look at the bottom, until I got smart and retrieved the box :) Any way the packaging is nice and sturdy, the shadows are full size along with the eyeliner and lipstick this is truely a great deal for the price. The Eyeliner is the 24/7 and of course is FAB, lasts all day! I like the lipstick, but it does get a little dry to me. Sometimes I think the Theodora eye is too dark to wear such dark lips, but it is fun for a night out. March 11, 2013

Glinda and Theodora I adore both of these palettes. Both can make several looks alone or by mixing in other shadows. I prefer the Glinda lip pencil for my coloring, but the Theodora lip color is a great red as well. Love them both! And, the packaging is adorable, too! March 5, 2013

pretty in pink Love this pallette. I've never been a fan of pink eyeshadow but with these directions I learned how to wear it without looking like a clown. Looking forward to using this pallette during spring. Would like the case to be a little more sturdy. March 5, 2013
Glinda I absolutely love the Glinda palette. The colors are gorgeous and perfect for my skin tone. I especially love the duo shadow of highlight colors they are so pretty. The lip pencil is comes with is great too a perfect natural rosy brown color. March 5, 2013
