Two insanely gorgeous limited-edition palettes inspired by the witches in Disney's Oz The Great and Powerful. (Because we all have a good side and a bad side.)

The new Disney film Oz The Great and Powerful tells the backstory of the wizard and the witches from L. Frank Baum's book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Inspired by the movie's theme of good witch vs. bad witch (and the good witch/bad witch dichotomy in all of us), we created two insanely gorgeous, limited-edition palettes loaded with beautiful, never-before-seen shades you'll want to own. We spent HOURS obsessively staring at images from the film (and not just the ones featuring its hot male lead, James Franco) to carefully craft the perfect mix of shades for these palettes.

Recreate Michelle Williams' ethereal, spellbinding look from the film with The Glinda Palette or copy Mila Kunis' captivating, edgy onscreen look with The Theodora Palette. Each one has six pans and EIGHT ALL NEW and exclusive Eyeshadows. Confused? These sets include two 'duo-shades' that are split in half, with a different color on each side of the pan. Every shade features Urban Decay's Pigment Infusion Systemâ„¢, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives each shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power and blendability. Plus, you also get a Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color and a travel-size 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil.

Each palette comes in a sleek tin adorned with gorgeous Oz The Great and Powerful-inspired artwork, with 'Urban Decay' and the name of the film in foil lettering. The Glinda Palette features a dreamy, celestial design awash in a sheer backdrop of pink, gold and peach, while The Theodora Palette features a moody, colorful skyscape flanked by Rorschach-like patterns. And both versions incorporate our Build Your Own Palette format for total versatility. When you finish the original shades (or whenever you get the urge to experiment), just pop them out and pop your favorite UD shadows into the cool collectible tin.

brings out the good AND/OR evil ;) I love love love both of these palettes! First of all, the packing is super pretty and the colors are stunning. I think the two eyeshadows in one are the best - I feel like it's a total steal to have this many options in a makeup palette. Plus, with an eyeliner and a gorgeous lip color. Totally worth the investment. I'm working on a beautiful look to wear to see Oz this weekend! I might end up seeing it a couple more times too so I can try out some new looks to show off a the movie theater. Definitely recemmond! March 8, 2013
LOVE it! I LOVE these palettes! I'm more partial to the Theodora palette with the more earthy tones and matte shades though. Urban Decay does not disappoint in the quality of their eyeshadows! The packaging in both palettes are beyond beautiful. Price point this is fantastic, you get 6 (really 8) shadows, a Super Saturated Lip Pencil, and a card telling you how to re-create the looks of Glinda and Theodora. I'm a collector of UD's palettes so I knew this was a must, but I have been wearing the Theodora palette non-stop! March 9, 2013
Enchanting There is a lot of good to be said about this palette, and I must add the genius in using a "build your own palette" case to bring out the good witch Glinda. The colors are beautiful and as usual with urban decay shades, very pigmented and long lasting. Very sturdy packaging, and once you are done with the shadows you can go pick out some of your fav UD eyeshadows and pop them right in! A bit of advice use "Tornado" in the crease, to add depth to your look, who know maybe you too can become great and powerful March 5, 2013
Hm. I have both Theodora and Glinda. I personally found the pigmentation lacking in both, and I always use UDPP with everything. If I start working IMMEDIATELY after applying UDPP, I get better payoff, but I'd have to be The Flash to get everything on in time before it dries. With these palettes, I have to use the wet-brush technique and even then I find myself packing on alot of shadow to get anything to show up on my lid. Although I have difficulty with most of the shades in both palettes, Glinda's palette is especially guilty of this. However, what I can make work turns out quite lovely; it just takes me a heck of a long time to get it accomplished. The thing I wound up really liking about the product were the tins. The designs are so, so beautiful. The inclusion of the lipstick pencils were nice, too. One thing to note: I initially had to return the Theodora palette to Sephora due to the printing on the tin being "off" (as though the printing company's black ink wasn't dispensing evenly, obvious flaw -totally not part of the design-) in addition to having a huge, deep scratch revealing the aluminum underneath. When I brought it to the store, they graciously helped me find one in better condition. Better. As in, they all had varying degrees of the same problem. They were as shocked as I was. As someone who has taken/is taking graphic design courses, I just can't be okay with that. I mean, it's limited-edition. It's a pricey palette. A certain level of perfection needs to be there. In general, I wouldn't recommend these palettes unless you are an Oz fan, or if you have really wanted a 6-pan tin and are okay with the colors not being up to par with UD's usual color payoff. As always, you make out better buying the palette as far as dollar-per-dollar, but the quality just isn't there in comparison to UD's other offerings, imo. March 9, 2013
There's no makeup like Urban Decay... tap tap tap I was intrigued by the shades in this palette, and got it for myself on Valentine's Day. I have worn the colors every day since. They apply like a dream and the pigmentation is absolutely stunning. Every single day, someone asks me about my eye makeup, and I excitedly tell them about this palette. If it was $49 for the shadows alone, I would be thrilled, but the eyeliner is a dream to work with and wear, and the lippy is perfect. I could not be more thrilled with a set and I am so glad I have this one. March 5, 2013
Enchanted by these palettes! I got the Glinda palette as a birthday present from my husband. At first I couldn't bring myself to pay for it but after using it I had to have the Theodora! With high pigments but unbelievably easy to blend shadows I can't bring myself to use any other shadows anymore. The lip pencils are amazing too. I use one of the two every day now! I'm just sad that you cant buy these colors separately because I am already dreading the day I run out and not being able to use them again. They are so worth buying! March 7, 2013
Great colors. Great selection. I really enjoyed the Theodora palette - even though I have fair skin. I was cautious about the purchase at first because of my complexion; however, I find the neutral tones of the palette to be quite complementing for my features. My only complaint is the brightness of the "Theodora" saturated lip pencil, but I expected that before the purchase. I am also curious about what happens to the duo shades when you reach the bottom of the pot. Will they mix? Time will tell. Cannot wait to get the Glinda! ;) March 13, 2013
Best Palletts for Gorgeous EYES! The Glinda palette is very neutral but magical as well.. very beautiful! A very good deal since these are FULL sized shadows. The colors are just gorgeous! Although the palettes are designed with specific looks you can most deffenitly combine these with other UD palletts and great awesome looks. Will use these for a long time and just in case i bought two of my favorite, Theodora :). Best eyeshadows ever, Best pigmintation every never causes breakouts very intense or natural looking, you decide :) March 7, 2013
The Glinda Palette I LOVE this palette. The shades are all completely gorgeous, and have great staying power, especially when used with an UD primer. The metallic silver is a huge personal favorite. However, my one complaint is with its duo-ed partner, the darkish gold color. While I like the color, the glitter in it gets EVERYWHERE. Major, major fall-out on that one. That said though, I have no other problems or complaints with this palette. I think its amazing, and the eyeliner and lip-color are awesome as well :) March 5, 2013
Absolutely beautiful This was one of my splurge buys. I am fair-skinned so I picked up the Glinda palette first. The colors in this are beautiful! I am most impressed with Tornado, Illusion, and Magic. I find that the colors in Aura and Oz I really don't use though. Both the Rockstar eyeliner and Glinda Super Saturated lip pencil do wonders. Those are colors I would purchase again. I was so impressed by this palette that I decided to purchase the Theodora palette as well! I am just waiting on it to come in the mail! March 7, 2013
In love! I don't normally post reviews, but today I received my Glinda palette, and I'm absolutely in love. The colors are so gorgeous and creamy, and they are incredibly easy to use! The saturated lip color is so beautiful. This was my first experience with the saturated lip colors, and I'll definitely be purchasing more. My only complaint is the eyeliner. I'm not a huge fan of the 24/7 eyeliners because they don't seem to stay on my waterline (i wear contacts, so most eyeliner pencils wont) and they are quite difficult to apply on my eyes. Other then that, I adore the eyeliner color and will still use it despite my issues. I've been waiting for the new OZ movie to come out for quite some time now, and I'm so excited that my favorite makeup brand came out with corresponding palettes! Both with absolutely gorgeous packaging, by the way. I will definitely be buying the Theodora palette when it is available in sephora. P.S. thanks for the super fast shipping! I ordered Thursday morning and got it today, which is two days later! That's with the 3-5 day shipping. :) January 26, 2013
Love the product, the packaging and the color combinations. I bought the Glinda and Theodora pallettes as soon as they were available. I like them both but the Theodora seems to be more wearable colors for a daytime look. The lip pencil in the Theodora pallette is a very nice red. The wear time on the lip pencil is not fabulous but decent. The eyeshadows and eyepencil are very long wearing, but you already know that if you have used any of UD eye products before. Overall, these were a great purchase and a very good deal for the build your own pallette. March 5, 2013
nice palatte i bought glinda because of the pastel colors. a lot of other reviewers haven't liked the lighter colors, but i really love this palette and think it's very versatile. another thing other reviewers have kind of bashed on are the two duo shades "aura" and "oz". i think they're a nice addition and blend well with the other colors in the palette. the one thing i don't like is the lip pencil, "glinda"; it's bascially "naked" with possibly a touch more shimmer...but not enough to justify a new name. March 6, 2013
I bought two! I'm scared I won't be able to find two of the colors again!!! I LOVE THIS... If you can't make these colors work, then you should not be wearing make-up! This color palette is a dream. I've gotten so many complements on my eyes since I've started wearing these colors. Thank you UD <3 ! February 14, 2013
Lovely. I have been using both palettes non stop since I bought them. Both are well coordinated and fit a variety of skin tones/styles. The Theodora may be the most flattering all around due to its more subtle, earth toned colors. I can see very pale to extremely deep toned people using this. For those that think it would be too warm for their skin tone, Bewitch is a cooler or more neutral brown, the Jealous duo and the lightest shade--Broken--would work well with and cool and warm. (Don't forget that even if you just want a few shadows, it's still cost effective to buy the palette considering how expensive they are separately.) I also don't think people should exclude colors just because they may be cool toned and the colors are warm, and vise versa. Contrasting tones can really pop and look gorgeous. You just need the confidence to wear them. I love how both can be used to create an every day/work appropriate look, a more fun look, and a smokey look. Glinda looks super pastel and Theodora more neutral or smokey, but really, both can be all of the above. There are two darker/smokey shadows--Tornado and South--in Glinda to give you a deeper look. Most colors in that palette would also look great as a wash of color over the lids for a subtle look, or combined in different ways to amp your look up. The Theodora's greens add a wow factor to your typical earthy/smokey look. I thought Glinda was my favorite at first, but I am equally in love with both now that I've really played around with them. I may be rambling at this point, but these are great palettes. My favorite part is how they're just like the build your own palette system, so these palettes won't go to waste when you finish certain colors. To add, a lot of people have pointed out that some colors are similar to other UD shades. That could be a pro or a con for some people, but I actually like that so I can easily restock some of my favorite shades from the palettes. My only criticism is I've noticed that sometimes the shadows pop up a bit. I've had to rearrange them in order to stop them from popping back up. The inside of the palettes could use a little more work. But the palette is still sturdy. The outside closes shut and I don't see my shadows breaking if I had to travel with them. All in all, another great palette from UD. I almost didn't get these, but I am super glad I did. Definitely worth the money and I am looking forward to future palettes like these from UD. March 5, 2013
Perfect palettes for spring Both are gorgeous spring palettes. The Theodora palette is the smouldery browns that are always huge for spring with beautiful accent colors to enhance those beautiful browns. The Glinda palette has beautiful pastels and one or two non pastel shades to ground the pastel shades. Both include a lovely lip color and fit the feeling of the palette. The artwork on the palette is also amazing! I love these palettes and the fact that i can move the shades around or switch them out for other shades. March 5, 2013
Love it! I recently purchased the Glinda palette and I couldn't be happier! The 'Glinda look' is beautiful and super easy to achieve. And there is virtually NO fallout with the shimmerys! Also I'm in love with the lip stain! March 6, 2013
Maybe the best yet! Magical colors.. Great packaging the full size of the products makes it so appeling cannot say no to this product. I will be purchaseing the TheTheodora Palette later this week. My husband thinks im crazy, but these are amazing quality and grat value. Love the lippy in this the red one in the Thedora is on of the reasons i must have that one too , shawdows as well! Great colors in this so many options will be my traving eyeshawdows for now! And the packaging makes it all even more amazing! February 23, 2013
Love at first sight <3 Urban Decay never let's me down and they once again have hit a home run with these lovely palettes. I am a neutrals type of girl anyway so naturally I was drawn to Theodora for the brown shades, and while I picked this up my eyes kept being drawn over to the Glinda palette so I ended up picking up both any may I say I am beyond pleased with both of them. I read a few reviews on the lip product included in both and while Glinda is Naked just renamed and Theodora is Fbomb, I love both and Theodora is my over all favorite. But both palettes have similar shades to existing shadows released by UD the only exception is the silver color in the OZ duo. My final commets are that both palettes are easily worked with the other to make amazing looks. Also package is just flawless. Keep up the good work UD! <3 April 23, 2013
AMAZING I absolutely love this palette. It would give it 5 stars, however the shadows with the glitter in it are not as pigmented as I would like them to be. The other colors go on so beautifully! I find myself wearing them almost everyday, which is odd because I typically reach for my naked palette first! I would recommend this for anyone's collection if you're looking for some fun shadows. I also love the new lipgloss they've included in the packaging! I will probably go out and buy more :-) March 5, 2013
Love this palette I think this palette also looks nice on olive and tan skintones. I wanted this palette because I love the colors and I don't need any other neutral palettes. March 13, 2013
Great quality but not a lot of variety This palette features eight absolutely gorgeous shades with the usual great quality I've come to expect from Urban Decay. However, I was a little disappointed with the range of colors; they were all very light and shimmery. There was only one dark color that would help smoke out a look or add depth and definition. The liner was great and I really like the lip pencil as well. I would recommend this to a friend, but only if they already have some deeper shades in their collection. March 5, 2013
Glinda I have tried this palette of colors. I chose the Glinda lighter ones because I am fair/medium complectioned. A good variety of colors so you can go light or dark depending on your mood or the occasion. Vibrant color, good staying power. A little bit goes a long way so you don't have to grab a lot on your brush. Go light, go dark, play with it, see what works for you. The eye-liner is deep purple almost black and it goes on so nice. No dragging and pulling and blends very nicely. March 9, 2013
GOOD GLINDA!!!!!! :) So this Review is obviously for Glinda. I love this palette because of the color choice. The eyeshadow's quality they are smooth but for me they are to smooth. Very pigmented though the shimmers although aren't as smooth they are nice and somewhat smooth sadly it doesn't come with a brush like the Naked and the Naked2. Eye liner it's purple smooth and glides and is long lasting its in the NAME AND ITS A NICE PURPLE LIKE A DEEP purple. (srry 4 CAPS) The Lip stuff is very stick and is hot mess aka a gooey mess just nice color just no. I have to sharpen the pencil a lip item that big i dont have a sharpener for dat. Over looking that its amazing!! and i can tranfer colors from them to my moonflower build your own palette. and i might take the eyeliner out of that and put a mini brush. The Movie was greart too!! April 17, 2013
Enchanting As soon as I heard about these palettes I immediately knew I had to have one and it was so hard to pick which one to get. I loved the lip color in theodora but the eyeshadows in the Glinda palette sold me. Of course I knew both would be amazing. The packaging is so adorable and compact, and with full size eyeshadows? need I say more? The colors look so pretty on my porcelain skin tone that even someone that isn't that great with makeup can put this on and make it look good. March 5, 2013
Glinda pallet great for light skin, eyes and hair! This was my first purchase from UD and I instantly fell in love! The pallet has beautiful, blendable colors that compliment light skin and hair. They aren't overpowering and look nice when you mix them. I've gotten compliments on it already. I can't get enough, perfect for night or day looks and the lip color is a nice finishing touch. It doesnt crease, especially if you use the eyeshadow primer. If you want to fall in love with makeup this pallet is a good place to start! February 26, 2013
So, so pleased with this palette. When I first saw this palette,I was excited to see they did something for Oz (I cant wait to see it!!) but I wasnt sure if it was really worth the money. It defiantly is! I bought the Theodora palette because the colors seemed to be more wearable in everyday life to me. I defiantly don't regret this purchase. It blends well with my other palettes (UD of course!) goes from day to night, and lasts all day long. I love it! And the added lip color is beautiful! Always a plus. March 5, 2013
More beautiful than I dreamed I bought this product mainly for the packaging and the tie in to one of my favorite characters, Glinda. But when I received the package, i realized that it was even more beautiful than I had hoped. Really long wearing, beautiful colors, easy to blend and wear together. Only real complaint is glitter fallout-- I remedy this by foiling or using something like Pixie Epoxy over my primer. With 6 full sized shadow pots, plus the liner and lippie, this is well worth the money! March 5, 2013
AMAZING When I saw this come out I knew I needed to have it. The quality of the shadows is amazing, and the colours are even better. I especially loved the Aura shadows - the pearly white shadow duo - they were the most beautiful shades I've seen in a while and brighten up the eyes like no other product I've used. The lip pencil that comes with it is a nice touch as well, but I'm not crazy about the colour - it takes a lot to get it to show up, but that just may be my skin tone. March 7, 2013
Neat ideas, harder to determine a look. I was so excited to try out the glinda palette that i went and bought it right away. UD had the brilliant idea of making the palette a customizable so that if you didn't like one of the shades, or you ran out, you could replace it with another color. The colors are very pigmented, but illusion barely shows up withy skin tone. Oz suffers from the famous UD glitter fallout. It seems harder to create a look with the palette due to the color limitations, but i still love it. March 7, 2013
