Exciting neutrals
Ok, so the product description says that these colors are "never-boring neutrals." I don't know that I would call them all neutrals, but they are definitely not boring! I would say this is THE must-have palette from Urban Decay if you want more color than is provided by the NAKED and NAKED 2 palettes (which are great too though!). This is also one of the best priced Urban Decay palettes available when on sale!

Good Palette
I love the colors in this palette, they are beautiful. They have good pigments and easy to blend. The colors are suitable for everyday use. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because of the packaging. The lid is kinda hard to open. I feel like I spend more time trying to open it than the time I spend putting on the eye shadow. Also it would be helpful if there is a little mirror that comes with it.

nice variety of colors
I bought this palette a while ago. Even though its not my go to palette (prob because naked 1 and 2 have taken over) I still go back to this palette occasionally because I love the blues and grays in this one. I wish it has a darker crease color and a highlight color but other than that this is a great palette for its price and now its on sale so those of you who dont have this one grab it before its gone.

Fantastic Palette
I am always a fan of palettes since I can carry them with me when traveling. The metal case on this one is a bonus since I know it will keep them safe. The colors have a great payoff (I do use primers) and are very easy to blend. You can recreated several looks with this one palette. The brush is good quality but I don't like that is so short.
Overall is a great buy, especially being on sale now.

This is not the greatest pallette....
Okay, so I basically own everything Urban Decay has to offer... And I'm just super not impressed with this palette. It's supposed to be their "new and improved" formula, yet my original ammo palette has more pigment than most of these colors. They all just really do not show up on my eyes, except for the blue and grays. You'd be better off just buying a different one, because this one is a pass.

Great and Shimmery
Thish palette has very pigmented colors and a great color selection. There is a perfect selection of colors to create and everyday natural look, and great colors to pump up your look with a smokey eye or bright colorful look. There are so many looks to do with this palette. All the colors in this palette are shimmery or have a bit of glitter. Overall I absolutly love this palette; it is amazing.

Great Pallet
My wife absolutely loves this pallet. I know this is probably not the review most women will expect to find but here goes. My wife is a makeup-phile and is always looking for what's new. When she saw the Mariposa pallet she had to have it. She loves the quality of the eye shadows as well as the colors. Her only issue is the darn box is hard for her to open, otherwise outstanding!

Great Value and Quality!
I picked up this palette with the friends and family sale. I had been eyeing it for quite some time and could no longer resist picking it up. While the eyeshadow brush that comes with it isn't the easiest to use, it is very nice to have. The eyeshadow selection is very good in that the colors are usable on a variety of skin tones. Brilliant packaging! Overall, GREAT Quality!

Perfect Color Combination
This is the perfect palette to travel with or use every day. Every color goes with every other color. You can combine them every which way for day or night. Basically, I love it more than any other palette ever.
The only thing I don't love is that for the color to last, you definitely need a primer or a make-up setter, but that's only really an issue because I'm lazy.

Awesome colors! Neutrals but a little bit of spice with color
Great quality shadows for any time and occasion use! :)
February 7, 2013
perfect
I am writing this review while waiting for my fake eye lash glue to dry...This eye shadow is great, the colors are all very easy to work with, practical, everyday, yet can be very dramatic. Lots of colors don't have much 'shiny particles', which I like. And if you are hesitant to buy it, just go ahead! It can be a good addition to the eyeshadows you already have.

Another Great Pallette
I had seen the pallette reviewed on some beauty blogs so I finally gave in and bought it. I'm so glad I did! The color selection is great and every color has amazing texture and pigmentation. The brush is nice and works well with the shadows and the tin is much better quality than I expected! It's also much bigger than I expected, but for me, that's not an issue.
March 7, 2013
neutrals with some pop
I didn't know what to expect from this palette. In the photo, the neutrals look very different, however, in person they are quite similar. Regardless, I do like the palette. You can never really have too many neutrals and I enjoy the pops of color featured in the palette as well. The bright blue color as well as the pink and purple are very pretty and pigmented.

Another great UD Palette
This is my third UD palette and I love it as much as the first two. The colors are great for everyday use. I use Skimp(the light neutral) daily as a base and highlight. They're all highly pigmented colors that go on easily. The packaging is a nice tin square case that is small and compact enough to throw in my purse for touch-ups if needed.
Love this palette!

Great, usable colors.
The shades are great because they're not neutrals but still easy to wear. The only thing that I had a problem with was the fact that the packaging is terrible. It's very hard to open and I'm sure I'll find a trick to opening it but when I received it in the mail it took me a long time to actually open it. Everything about it is great except for the packaging.

Was a little disappointed with the new shades
This was given to me as a gift from my boyfriend so I can't really complain lol but with that being said, I was not as impressed with this palette as I am with most of UD's palettes. The 4 new colors (Infamous, Wreckage, Spotlight and Limelight), did not live up to UD's reputation for amazing eyeshadows. I'm used to the silky smooth, pigmented shadows that they have, but Infamous was very sheer and not as silky, Wreckage, Spotlight and Limelight all had problems with being extremely chunky and difficult to apply, and Limelight was very sheer. All three of the last colors mentioned have huge fallout problems, of course, and when I'm planning on using any of them, I can't do my face first because of the awful fallout. All of the other colors were amazing, although I'm a sucker for warm neutrals so it was disappointing =/ Bottom line, I would recommend this for the sale price if you aren't buying it mostly for the warm neutrals.

my most practical palette
I love the colours in this palette! In some UD palettes I find there are some indulgent colours - too bright for work, or too glittery for casual. Gorgeous and beautiful, but not shades I can use everyday. Not in this palette! Everything here is not only gorgeous and beautiful but also usable and versatile - work, casual, or going out, you could use it all.

Mariposa - Day to Night
I love this set because of the versatility of the colors included. The neutrals are perfect for work. Then- when it's time to go out, I can amp up my look with a touch of the other colors.
I also love the metal case that it comes in. Great to put in my gym bag and go.
It's not my weekend palette, but it's great to get me from work to the cocktails after!

Got one for each bridesmaid
I love urban decay and this pallet reminded me of my wedding colors, so I bought one for each of my 9 bridesmaids.
I have one for myself and love it. I use it as an accent with the naked pallet.
It comes with a pretty tin and has a brush. The brush isn't as nice as the Naked pallet, but its nice that it's there for convinence if you are out and about.
March 5, 2013
Gorgeous Palette
This a really gorgeous palette. As always, the colors are super saturated and easy to apply. There is a good variety of versatile colors, including neutrals and brights. It's also a HUGE bonus that the palette contains one of UD's eyeshadow brushes. The brush is terrific quality, with super soft bristles. And, the palette's packaging is super cute!
March 9, 2013
A fun eyeshadow palette
Unlike the naked neutrals, this palette is so much fun! I love the colors rockstar, haight, infamous, and money (such an interesting and unique shade). However, I get a lot of glitter fallout from spotlight and limelight, and that's quite annoying. Still, this palette is a great value and can be used to create a variety of looks.
March 11, 2013
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee
This palette is absolutely amazing. The colors are phenomenal - I especially love Money and Gunmetal! Totally versatile palette, with a selection of light colors to make a beautiful, subtle daytime look, but with plenty of sexy, smokey colors to transition easily to night. Love this palette - get it before it's gone!

Great palette for smoky eyes
I purchased this as a gift for my sister and she was happy with it. I personally have most of these colours in the single shadow pots, so I knew what to expect with this palette. They are all blendable and pigmented colours. Great for an evening look.
Only complaint is the packaging is difficult to open the tin lid.
April 21, 2013
I bought two.
I had to have this palette because 1) the gorgeous embossed tin with the butterfly and 2) the color Money. Overall, it's a solid palette for me.
First off, the pros. All the colors are lovely and I like how unique the combinations are. You get cool to warm, and neutral to smokey to bold. It's a fun palette. I don't think one color is a dud. Most of the shades blend like a dream. I'm also extremely glad that Money is in this palette. I love this color so much, I'm hoping UD makes it permanent!
Unfortunately, there are cons to this, which is why it's not 5 stars for me. The tin is a little obnoxious to open. It sometimes gets stuck and I have to pry it. I've dropped my palette a few times and of course squealed in fear that I ruined it, but thankfully the shadows are fine. Next is just how small the shadows are. If they were round, they would be the size of a dime. I think the original price was a bit expensive for this palette because of that. The only reason I bought a backup was when I saw it here for $19--definitely a deal for that amount! Moreover, the color Spotlight, although lovely, gets a bit chunky and isn't the easiest to blend sometimes compared to the others.
All in all, a solid, cute and fun palette. I like it. I think it's worth obtaining now that it's so cheap.
March 5, 2013
Great color selection!
I love the variety of colors in this palette. I also love the size and ease of use. I do wish it was a *bit* more pigmented. Honestly, I always thought Urban Decay and MAC had the most pigmented eyeshadows... but ever since using Sugarpill eyeshadows, I now expect more. But for the price these are still great.
March 6, 2013
Gave this as a gift
I wear the UD shadows all the time and I love them. My mom saw one of them and was begging for it. I bought her one of her own and I actually didnt have this one and when it arrived I was sad that I hadnt ordered it for myself. The colors were so pretty...
Love these shadows. beautiful everyday neutral colors
March 8, 2013
Beautiful Palette!
The colors in this palette are gorgeous and work so well together. It comes in a large metal tin placed in a purple box covered in butterflies. I actually thought the purple box was too pretty to throw away so now I use it to hold my earrings and bracelets. Love using money and mushroom together.
March 5, 2013
Nice Palette
I already have some of the shadows that are in this palette but I got it on sale for $19 which was a great steal. The packaging is cute and would be easy for travel and I like the brush that comes with it. I wouldn't have paid full price for this palette but it was worth the $19 for sure.
March 5, 2013
Great colors!
I really love this palette. It's got a great variety of colors, and of course, they're all top quality and super pigmented (like all UD shadows). The Sustainable Shadow Box is still my favorite (I don't think they make it anymore), but this one is a close second. Totally worth the money!
March 9, 2013
Amazing colors packed into one palette .
I must say i am so glad i picked up this palette it is amazing The color spotlight is perfect for a inner corner hightlight.. great color selection for lots of different looks all in one place. Thank you Urban decay for making such great quality makeup. every purchase i am more in love.
