This palette has a great selection of colours This palette is very good for people like me who has just began using make up. It has neutral and bold colours, so it could be used to create bot natural, edgy or anywhere in between make up. It is also a good size for carrying around. It closes securely so I'm not afraid it will open up in my bag. The packaging is also very beautiful, with the butterfly ingrained on the top and purple butterflies on the inside. It does not have a mirror, but I think that it is not such a big loss if it has such a beautiful metal case (and in my experience, metal cases and mirrors do not get along, so it is actually a plus for me). It has a cute little brush, but I only use it to apply eyeshadow on my lower lash line and when I need to apply eyeshadow in a thin line or something similar. It is not very good for applying eyeshadow all over the lid, since it does not grab a lot of product. But this is okay with me, I have other UD brushes for it. My only problem with the product is the fact that the bold colours (pink and blue) are not as bold on my eyelids as they appear in the tins. In addition, for me they appear not as smooth as eyeshadows in Naked 2. Still smooth, just little less so than in Naked 2. All in all it is a very good palette, even great one if you are the beginner like me. It has a great selection of colours that will help you create different and unique looks. March 7, 2013
This is my favorite palette! This palette is so amazing. I find myself reaching for it everyday for at least one color, if not using the whole palette for a look. There are so many different ways you could use this palette and countless looks that you could create. I absolutely love this palette. I also have the Naked2, but I definitely find myself grabbing this one more often. All of the shades have amazing pigmentation. It takes a little more time to blend with the blues, but it's totally manageable. I am so in love with this palette. I have hazel eyes that change between brown and green with the daylight, what I'm wearing, my mood, etc. so this palette has great options for what my eyes are doing that day. And they all look great with whatever shade they decide to change to. I am more than happy that I got my hands on this. i am going through the light shade like crazy! I am not sure of the lasting power of these because I have been using a base underneath, I do not know the lasting power of them without a base, but with the base, they stayed on for ages! Fantastic buy! I am so in love with this palette. And the packages! I have always been drawn to butterflies, and honestly that is the main reason why I bought this. The butterfly is fairly detailed and gorgeous, and I love that it's in a tin and not a box or zipup. I love the packaging. I would recommend this for anyone! With all the different shades, anyone would be able to get a gorgeous look out of these. And people just starting makeup would also enjoy this because of the pretty colors and how creamy and blendable the formulas are. All around, I think this is an amazing product, and for $19 ..
