Better for Blue I had wanted this palette for awhile and when I finally saw it online (and on sale!), I jumped to get it. After using it for several months I have made the following observations: -As a brown-eyed person, I feel that this palette is a bit better suited to those with blue eyes due to the number of blue-based shades. I rarely used Haight and Money when I had brown hair because they tended to look odd with all the brown. However, I found Haight did work well with cobalt blue hair, but Money was still a no-go. :( -While I do love the colors Wreckage, Spotlight, and Limelight, I find them difficult to wear and apply due to the amount of fallout. It's a shame because I'd love to wear these over the 24/7 Eyeshadow Pencils in Rehab, Juju and Lit to increase their longevity, but it's not worth a glittery under-eye to jaw. As a side note, I have not had this problem with the glitter in Gunmetal. -One of my favorite shades from this palette is Infamous. A blue-based pink that is a bit less intense than Woodstock, it is usable as a liner because it won't read as "eye-infection" like some redder pinks can. It also blends beautifully with Rockstar and matches my berry/hot pink hair perfectly! Overall, this is a decent palette and I love the quality and longevity of the shadows. This palette has a great selection of colours This palette is very good for people like me who has just began using make up. It has neutral and bold colours, so it could be used to create bot natural, edgy or anywhere in between make up. It is also a good size for carrying around. It closes securely so I'm not afraid it will open up in my bag. The packaging is also very beautiful, with the butterfly ingrained on the top and purple butterflies on the inside. It does not have a mirror, but I think that it is not such a big loss if it has such a beautiful metal case (and in my experience, metal cases and mirrors do not get along, so it is actually a plus for me). It has a cute little brush, but I only use it to apply eyeshadow on my lower lash line and when I need to apply eyeshadow in a thin line or something similar. It is not very good for applying eyeshadow all over the lid, since it does not grab a lot of product. But this is okay with me, I have other UD brushes for it. My only problem with the product is the fact that the bold colours (pink and blue) are not as bold on my eyelids as they appear in the tins. In addition, for me they appear not as smooth as eyeshadows in Naked 2. Still smooth, just little less so than in Naked 2. All in all it is a very good palette, even great one if you are the beginner like me. It has a great selection of colours that will help you create different and unique looks. March 7, 2013
