However, the glitter is really hard to work with at first. I would recommend using these with a good primer and setting spray to make sure they don't travel all over your face, and avoid using them in the inner corners (too shiny). The overall look is great for a fun night out. February 28, 2012diamond dog <3 some people complain about glitter fallout, but just tap your brush! it will release any excess and the rest will adhere to the lid very well, especially if you use primer. i absolutely love the shade diamond dog. it's perfectly not too warm but not cool either and the glitter makes it so much more exciting and prettier than a regular brown. they're long lasting and highly pigmented. February 2, 2012These shadows truly shine I purchased two Stardust Shadows (in Retrograde and Diamond Dog) earlier in February (2013) and when I received and opened the package I was very pleased. Firstly, the packaging is simple and attractive. It also opens in what I think is a pretty unique way, which was fun (for someone like me who finds joy in the little things). As far as the colors and pigmentation goes I felt as though they were very true to color as far as the description listed on the website. Although I thought Diamond Dog would be more gray I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be more brown. The shadows do not quickly fade (especially when using an eyeshadow primer) and are quite pigmented. A little bit goes a very long (and sparkly) way. The glitter does travel a bit, but that was somewhat expected. Overall, I am very impressed with these shadows and look forward to trying some of the other colors UD is currently offering! I purchased diamond dogs to create a sparkly champagne smoke look. Loved it, however I do wish it packed just a tish more sparkle. Other colors seem to have a bit more of the sparkle factor than this one, but that wouldn't turn me away from buying more. I own Bobby Dazzle because while the sparkle is out of this world, the colors really don't show up. I can put Bobby Dazzle over top of any eyeshadow and instantly make it better! I tried 54 and Griffith but since the color doesn't stand well on it's own I went with a clear color just for the sparkle. January 31, 2012Very sparkly I love stardust, and im sad its being discontinued. at first i was having trouble with a lot of clean up after application, meaning sparkles EVERYWHERE! i switched to a stiffer brush and itsa lot better. i still find it easier to hold a tissue under my eye during application for easier clean up. even with make up remover its hard to get the glitter completely off my face. These glitter shadows are almost supernatural! They provide all of this twinkling light without being obvious that you are wearing glitter. The glitter is so fine that it almost looks like your skin is just supposed to be sparkly. The color is more sheer than the regular UD shadows, but I don't mind that at all and love to layer Stardust over my whole look. I bought diamond dog and it really amps up my smokey eye, making it a multifaceted, multidimensional and unique. The glitter really catches the light and I always get compliments on it. However, during application a lot of the glitter ends up on my face and in my eyes and it's nearly impossible to remove it all. They have very cool packaging and the shadows themselves are so packed with color and sparkel its unreal. January 31, 2012My secret weapon. Whenever I am wearing a matte eyeshadow and I think it needs a little life I just dab a tiny bit of this stuff on and all of a sudden I had a subtle shimmery veil over my lids. I. Love. This. Eyeshadow. I love the super fine glitters, I do, they're so comfortable and GLITTERY. It does get all over my face but thats nothing some make-up remover and towel can't fix. It's worth it to get the hidden disco sparkles that only glint in a certain angle of light instead of chunky madness, I haven't seen or heard of a better product. I love this product so much I'm afraid of using it, I don't want it to run out!! I'm also addicted to how it opens, it's so clever, and I get a kick out of surprising people with it. Make some more colors please! like a neon color set, or a dusty grunge rockstar glitter set with deep blues and purples. February 24, 2012Super Sparkly These shadows are super sparkly, so if you don't like glitter these are not for you. I love them though! I have Space Cowboy, Atmosphere, Retrograde and Diamond Dog. There is not much fallout, which is a plus. I use my finger to apply these (recommended). They start sheer but the color is buildable. I also love the squeeze container. August 19, 2011Great-but not perfect Love this shadow in Space Cowboy-such a pretty shade. This is definitely not for girls who are shy about glitter. I wouldn't say that this is 100% fall out proof, but its not nearly as bad as other brands. I would definitely use this for going out. Despite the slight fall-out, I would still recommend this shadow to my girl friends. September 4, 2011So sparkly I used the shade "54" and while it a bit lighter of a shade than I anticipated, the amount of sparkle & shine more than makes up for that. I pair it with another Urban Decay darker purple to get the color I want and it looks fantastic! I highly recommend this line & look forward to trying some of the other Vegan shades (hint hint). But the Stardust Collection from UD is and feels light, and uses the right kind of glitter to give your eyes that extra something. I am very pleased with the color selections and the beautiful shimmer. I have to say that you need to be careful when applying this shadow. It isnt as pigmented as the regular eyeshadow, i think, but still looks amazing on. does have a lot of fall out, but if you gently press it on your lids then it's not that bad, instead of just swiping it across.
