The first time I came home from working a full 8 hour shift and noticed my eyeliner was 90% in place I knew I had found my eyeliner. I've tried switching around to other name brands such as MUFE aqua line and Nars Larger than life and it just isn't the same. UD liners have a creamy, soft, smudgable consistency that just doesn't compare to other long wearing liners that claim to do the job. I love and will continue to purchase this liner. However, I wish they did have a more of a variety of matte eyeliner colors. I know that UD is well known for their vibrant colors and pigmentation but I would rather not have to purchase from another brand. February 4, 2012Start Here If you're new to UD & thinking of trying a product or two but aren't sure where to start, start here! Pick any color, (there are so many fun vegan shades!) you really can't go wrong. The application is super smooth, which not only feels much more pleasant than other liners but seems to go on much quicker too. My only warning is this: if you apply this to the "edge" of your eyelid (not sure what that's called but if you imaging the bottom lashes, just above them closest to the white of your eye) it doesn't stay put as well. September 30, 2011Best eye liner I've ever tried I purchased 11 shades of the 24/7 glide on pencil and this eye liner is the best one I've tried by far!!! The colors are very pigmented, bold, bright, and last all day. I've always wanted my bottom lid to pop w/ color but other brands would smudge or the color would fade out quickly. This pencil allowed me to use two colors at once and it blended so perfectly!! I was very sceptic because the price was so high. I'm use to spending $3-$4 for liner but I went to Sephora and sampled Urban Decay liner and fell in love instantly. I tested it on my hand and was surprised that the liner was still bold after 6 hours. That convinced me to purchase as many as I could. So I did :) February 24, 2013Great color The darkest color of them all! I've always been a super huge UD liner fan and perversion is by far my favorite color. I have dark features so I thought that I only liked the color because of this. It turns out this color looks amazing on my friends with very fair complexions also! The only down fall is that it is a little creamier than their usual liners so I've found that I go through the stick faster and the color seems to fade faster. It still has great staying power but I don't think it's as great as the other liner for some reason. Just use some black shadow over the liner and it will help it stay longer. All in all an amazing product and a staple in my makeup kit. February 6, 2012Woodstock IS LOVE I was looking for the 'perfect' pink and UD was the ONLY brand that had exactly what I needed. Once I received this in the mail and used it I instantly fell in love. This glides across the delicate skin under your eye without tugging. The pigment is amazing! You can wear Woodstock ANYWHERE without looking like clown. Press lightly for a soft pink shimmer or add a little pressure for a dramatic, beautiful eye. This is great worn alone without eyeshadow! Yes, thats how beautiful it truly is. I highly recommend and I look forward to having all of the eyeliner pencils. Looks amazing paired with the woodstock eyeshadow. February 16, 2012Beats all eyeliners! Eye liner has been essential to me. As an asian, eye liner defines our eyes and I have experimented with a ton--from liquid, to gel, to pencils. Can't seem to find one that doesn't fade or crease until my makeup guru introduced me to PERVERSION! It is so dark and I love it because it is actually made to look like a gel, only because it's pencil, it is easier to control and line your eyes. It is also very easy to blend. So if you are a first timer applying eye liner, pencils are a good first go-to. Just draw a line (doesn't have to be perfect) and take a brush and simply blend it and this will STAY. It's darker than some of the gel eye liners I've used. Highly recommend! February 20, 2012Perfect for Sensitive Eyes! I have to be extremely careful of what eye products I use because my eyes seem to be allergic to everything! In the past I have had problems with eye products, especially eyeliners and mascaras, irritating my eyes and causing them to water uncontrollably. However, since I began using this product I have had virtually no problems. It doesn't cause any irritation and the pigment lasts all day. No problems with smudging, or fading. The color selection is a lot more extensive than most brands offer on eye liners, so I am also very impressed by that. I have the 24/7 pencils in multiple shades and I must say that I love them all. The pencils are highly pigmented and the selection of colors is just great. As the description says the pencils are really creamy and glide on smooth. The shades that I love best are electric, ransom and lucky as they make my dark eyes pop. I feel really dreamy when I wear these shades. If there was one thing that I could change about these pencils, it may be that make the formula a little more firm so the tips don't go blunt after minimal use. Overall, I'm not suprised that the formula of these pencils is award-winning! Keep it up, UD! March 8, 2013Pigmented and Long-Lasting This product is great and the best pencil eyeliner I've used, but not the greatest overall liner. The pigmentation is true to the color you see in the stick. The eyeliner pencil lasts all day long even in hot humid weather and keeps it's pigment. The only complaints I have are that it's really creamy like gel in a stick so it can be a little hard to apply. You also have to sharpen the pencil very frequently because of how creamy it is so the product might not last as long. Overall I adore this eyeliner pencil above all others I've tried. One of the best products from Urban Decay. They have a great selection of colors to choose from so I recommend anyone should get a few. July 28, 2011Perfect multi-use product The formula is creamy, glides right on ,and just stays put. One favorite is Underground perfect for adding some definition under the eye with that pale taupey brown for a little subtle shimmer. 1999 is another standout unique color that I can't live without. Perversion is just right for making that smokey eye just right. Demolition is the ideal everyday eyeliner deepest brown that can work for anyone. Lastly Junkie is my favorite go to fun liner for that pop when I need it. I couldn't live without these liners. PS. Please make stray dog a permanent liner another must have color, cooler and darker than underground. March 12, 2013Make Up Must Have I love Love LOVE these pencils. I've bought quite a few of the miniature collections over the past couple years and have received many compliments on them. They are very creamy and blendable. Their staying power is amazing. Whether you are using these by themselves or using them to add some kick to another make up look, you can't go wrong. I think my only complaint(and its pretty small) is that if you are going to smudge it after application, when you're trying to achieve a smokey look, you have to act quick or else you will have one smokey eye and one regularly lined eye. I usually just do one at a time in that case. I have recommended these to several friends who have thanked me immensely for telling them about UD. August 18, 2012Not for the faint of heart! If your looking to create dramatic, bold, eye looks this is your eyeliner! Perversion is intensely black, it glides on effortlessly and will not skip. It is super long lasting and waterproof. Before Perversion I used Zero and I really enjoyed it but sometimes I would crave a more dramatic black to really amp up my makeup, so I would use cream or liquid liners, however these can sometimes be difficult to work with, especially in the waterline. Perversion has solved all my liner dilemmas, it gives all the color of liquid or cream liners but in a convenient pencil form and once its on its there to stay, no smudging! My friends had all been raving about the eyeliner, and being able to see the results myself I finally decided to purchase one and it works like a charm. March 8, 2013Love the colors These are the only eyeliners that I can find that come in such amazing colors. I love all the brights and I seriously have most of them at home, even the shades that don't seem like they work. The colors in this line are great for tightlining and as long as you smudge them quickly they are easy to smudge out for a rocker look. Once they set they don't move all day. The only color I have problems with is Zero (black), it seems to wander a lot more than the others. They dry down to a shiny finish that I love, they don't look like pencils but liquid. Not that it truly matters but I love the size of these pencils and the metal detailing on them. My favorites are the greens. March 11, 2013A little pricey, but overall an amazing product! I've used just about every major brand of eyeliner available and this is by far my favorite. It goes on extremely smooth and I don't need to go over it twenty times to get the darkness that I want. I only have two negatives, the first being that, although the softness is what makes it literally glide across your eyelid (big plus!), it also gets used up much, much faster than standard eyeliner pencils. This leads to my second negative.. price. $19.00 + tax and shipping? If they lasted a long time, sure, it'd be worth it, but they don't. So $19 seems a little ridiculous to me. Either way, I highly recommend it, especially if you have money to spare, but personally I'll be waiting for it to go on sale before I buy it again. February 25, 2012Creamiest, easiest, most pigmented eye liners ever!! I have 3 of these. Zero, 1999, and flipside. I have to say, they are quite expensive for eyeliners, now that they're $19 each. But, in my opinion the prices are reasonable. Knowing that it's from Urban Decay, and you're getting the best of quality, it's definitely worth the money. They are very easy to blend! I used 1999 as an all over base just because I was in a hurry and it sure was an appropriate color for my eyelids. After a few hours, it was still there. It did't crease or anything like that. They don't irritate my eyes, and I love the fact that they're so creamy. I would love to buy a lot more shades! <3 February 13, 201224/7 Eye Liner Pencils I have never been steady enough to use a liquid eye liner, so pencils have always been my preferred product. I love these pencils for many reasons, the texture is sublime, they apply great and stay put. The color selection is amazing, I have quite a few, and my favorites right now are Mildew as well as Bourbon. They make my green eyes pop. They also wear so well, no raccoon eyes, no flaking, no smudging. I can make a thick or thin line, use them for tight lining as well as my water line, they don't irritate and I like them so well, I have been gifting them to my friends and family who wear cosmetics. I also love seeing new colors come out, makes for nice choices. Love them! March 5, 2013These really do glide on! They weren't kidding when they named this eyeliner. I think the color selection is good but there could be some variety. I have purchased Perversion (best matte black!), Oil Slick (didn't like the glitter in the liner), Woodstock (true to color), Radium (nice bright blue), Junkie (love love this color as an alternative to plain black), Ransom (I was excited because I love purple, but this disappointed it wasn't as pigmented as the rest. I got these in a set, and it looks like they don't carry Junkie and Radium in full size (although Deviant looks like a good substitute for Radium.) I have also purchased Zero and there is a difference between Perversion and Zero. Overall great product, really great quality and pigmentation. March 13, 2013Truly and Honestly the BEST eyeliners I have EVER used!! In love! Let me start by saying that for years I have been a purely liquid eyeliner girl..now woman, until I found these eyeliners. I have tried so many brands of eyeliner and found them hard to put on, dry, irritating and just plain impossible. I first tried the 24/7 eyeliners pencils when I first bought a Book of Shadows. I read that they were CREAMY, LONG LASTING...that they glideeeee....so I had to put it to the test. When I tried them they were creamy, it went on very easily and did not tug my eyelid. I could actually create a straight line with this eyeliner!!! It did not create uneven spotty lines. Since then I have recommended these eyeliners to everyone and now the people reading this.=) These eyeliners are so good that I can apply it and not have to fix it with a brush to even it out, or a Q-tip. I have included a picture that has Rockstar on top and Ransom on the bottom lashline. I applied both of it freehand and with no brush! I love that they have such a great variety of colors with different effects...like metallic, or shimmer. If you have given up on eyeliner pencils that smudge, are hard to blend and apply then give these a shot! They're creamy and apply very easily, which works wonders for someone like me who isn't the best at apply liner. I snapped up a full size as soon as they came out, and now I have a backup! February 9, 2012Best Colors/Long Lasting/Glam Rock On I now own over 20 of these eyeliner pencils and use everyone. The glide on so easily that you don't have to be an expert to use them. The colors are absolutely amazing, especially the bold ones. My first pencil was electric which looks great with brown eyes. I wear these during the day for work, when i go out, and for rock shows where i paint my face with them and I tell you, no matter how much i sweat these baby's do not come off. It by far is the creamiest eyeliner i've found and the pigmentation of the colors are so bold which makes it stand out!! Its creaminess makes it so easy to apply and like its name it really is 24/7.. I've swatched a few colors on my wrist and even after a nice hot shower the swatches were still there, AWESOME! The travel sized version makes it easy to just slip into one of the small pockets in my purse and allows me to have it with me where ever i go. This is the only eye liner i use and i absolutely LOVE it! The price isn't that bad either especially because the quality of this product is by far top of the line! April 25, 2012Long Wearing, Glides on Easily I used to have a problem with my eyeliner disappearing within a hour two of application. I was referred to these by a sales girl at Sephora. She put some on me to try while I was shopping to see how it stood up to trying on clothes and just general wear for the afternoon. Hours later, I looked at it, and it was just as nice as when she'd applied it. Wow!! I immediately purchased 3 pencils in different colors and won't wear anything else now. These are also very creamy and go on easily without tugging on your eye. I love these pencils! You do need to have a good sharpener for them or they will shred and break. March 5, 2013GREAT but not great I just absolutely LOVE this eyeliner. It goes on smooth, and I don't have to be too rough on my eyes to get a great pigmentation. I have this eyeliner in Zero and Bourbon. LOVE LOVE LOVE. BUT there is a downside. IT DOES smear and fades in a few hours or so. I would have to reapply it. AND because of its smoothness, I guess the pencil runs out quick? It was disappointing that I had to sharpen it every 2-3 times I used it. It would go down so quick that I don't even notice it did, and the "wood" (?) part stabbed me on the eyelid. I guess UD can do something about that. But overall, I do love this product. Fix the smearing and the running out thing, then I'll give it five stars. February 17, 2012Best pencil eyeliner As someone with monolids, it is very hard to find eyeliner that doesn't smudge. I tried many pencil eyeliners before, but they always end up giving me racoon eyes. After trying UD 24/7 pencil eyeliner, I think I'm in love with this product! The color is very pigmented, glides on very smoothly, and the most important thing it stays on for very long time (with primer and eye shadow). It's great to line the waterline, it literally stays all day until I use make up remover. This product gives you pigment like gel liner but with the easiness of a pencil liner. Definitely recommend this and will purchase it again! February 26, 2012This product is the absolute best! I absolutely love this eyeliner!!!! It really is the only eyeliner I ever use. I can wear this eyeliner all day, accidentally fall asleep in it, and wake up with this eyeliner still looking flawless. If you don't believe me, then get this; Recently, I just ran a Tough Mudder. This is a 10 - 12 mile course filled with 25 obstacles created by British military. Those obstacles take you through mud, fire, and involve lots of swimming too. At 6 am I applied this eyeliner, fully completed Tough Mudder, and by 6 pm, I still had Urban Decay's 24/7 eyeliner (in Crash) perfectly applied on my eyes. This eyeliner can handle anything and won't come off until you take it off. I highly recommend this product to anyone. It is worth your money. October 30, 2012not 24/7 for me This eye liner was completely too oily and smears within an hour of application. There has been no way to make it last from the time of first applying and going out for the night. The glitter from the eyeliner ends up all over my cheeks (and not in a good way). The liner smears into the corners of my eyes. I look like a hot mess when I wear it! January 15, 2012Best black eyeliner ever I am in love with perversion! It is hands down the best black eyeliner I have ever come across! It is very creamy, goes on smoothly and if I set it with a bit of deslick powder it lasts me up to 12 hours at work. If I don't set it, it does end up getting smudged a bit during the day. I just us a slanted brush and lightly dab on the powder. If you are looking for a precise eyeliner that will be great for the waterline then these may disappoint you. My only complaint is that it's difficult to guide or achieve a perfectly clean line with this pencil unless it is sharpened constantly. And despite other reviews, I still find that it does smudge after a few hours, especially if you have oily skin, monolids (that inevitably fold over the applied eyeliner), or use the product by itself without any primers. The only color I have problems with is Zero (black), it seems to wander a lot more than the others. They dry down to a shiny finish that I love, they don't look like pencils but liquid. Not that it truly matters but I love the size of these pencils and the metal detailing on them. My favorites are the greens. March 11, 2013A little pricey, but overall an amazing product! I've used just about every major brand of eyeliner available and this is by far my favorite. It goes on extremely smooth and I don't need to go over it twenty times to get the darkness that I want. I only have two negatives, the first being that, although the softness is what makes it literally glide across your eyelid (big plus!), it also gets used up much, much faster than standard eyeliner pencils. This leads to my second negative.. price. $19.00 + tax and shipping? If they lasted a long time, sure, it'd be worth it, but they don't. So $19 seems a little ridiculous to me. Either way, I highly recommend it, especially if you have money to spare, but personally I'll be waiting for it to go on sale before I buy it again. February 25, 2012Creamiest, easiest, most pigmented eye liners ever!! I have 3 of these. Zero, 1999, and flipside. I have to say, they are quite expensive for eyeliners, now that they're $19 each. But, in my opinion the prices are reasonable. Knowing that it's from Urban Decay, and you're getting the best of quality, it's definitely worth the money. They are very easy to blend! I used 1999 as an all over base just because I was in a hurry and it sure was an appropriate color for my eyelids. After a few hours, it was still there. It did't crease or anything like that. They don't irritate my eyes, and I love the fact that they're so creamy. I would love to buy a lot more shades! <3 February 13, 201224/7 Eye Liner Pencils I have never been steady enough to use a liquid eye liner, so pencils have always been my preferred product. I love these pencils for many reasons, the texture is sublime, they apply great and stay put. The color selection is amazing, I have quite a few, and my favorites right now are Mildew as well as Bourbon. They make my green eyes pop. They also wear so well, no raccoon eyes, no flaking, no smudging. I can make a thick or thin line, use them for tight lining as well as my water line, they don't irritate and I like them so well, I have been gifting them to my friends and family who wear cosmetics. I also love seeing new colors come out, makes for nice choices. Love them! March 5, 2013These really do glide on! They weren't kidding when they named this eyeliner. I think the color selection is good but there could be some variety. I have purchased Perversion (best matte black!), Oil Slick (didn't like the glitter in the liner), Woodstock (true to color), Radium (nice bright blue), Junkie (love love this color as an alternative to plain black), Ransom (I was excited because I love purple, but this disappointed it wasn't as pigmented as the rest. I got these in a set, and it looks like they don't carry Junkie and Radium in full size (although Deviant looks like a good substitute for Radium.) I have also purchased Zero and there is a difference between Perversion and Zero. Overall great product, really great quality and pigmentation. March 13, 2013Truly and Honestly the BEST eyeliners I have EVER used!! In love! Let me start by saying that for years I have been a purely liquid eyeliner girl..now woman, until I found these eyeliners. I have tried so many brands of eyeliner and found them hard to put on, dry, irritating and just plain impossible. I first tried the 24/7 eyeliners pencils when I first bought a Book of Shadows. I read that they were CREAMY, LONG LASTING...that they glideeeee....so I had to put it to the test. When I tried them they were creamy, it went on very easily and did not tug my eyelid. I could actually create a straight line with this eyeliner!!! It did not create uneven spotty lines. Since then I have recommended these eyeliners to everyone and now the people reading this.=) These eyeliners are so good that I can apply it and not have to fix it with a brush to even it out, or a Q-tip. I have included a picture that has Rockstar on top and Ransom on the bottom lashline. I applied both of it freehand and with no brush! I love that they have such a great variety of colors with different effects...like metallic, or shimmer. If you have given up on eyeliner pencils that smudge, are hard to blend and apply then give these a shot! They're creamy and apply very easily, which works wonders for someone like me who isn't the best at apply liner. February 9, 2012Best Colors/Long Lasting/Glam Rock On I now own over 20 of these eyeliner pencils and use everyone. The glide on so easily that you don't have to be an expert to use them. The colors are absolutely amazing, especially the bold ones. My first pencil was electric which looks great with brown eyes. I wear these during the day for work, when i go out, and for rock shows where i paint my face with them and I tell you, no matter how much i sweat these baby's do not come off. Especially with a little UD primer underneath. In my mind, these are the ONLY EYELINERS IN THE WORLD. They are that great. Thank you UD for making such an awesome product! It by far is the creamiest eyeliner i've found and the pigmentation of the colors are so bold which makes it stand out!! Its creaminess makes it so easy to apply and like its name it really is 24/7.. I've swatched a few colors on my wrist and even after a nice hot shower the swatches were still there, AWESOME! The travel sized version makes it easy to just slip into one of the small pockets in my purse and allows me to have it with me where ever i go. This is the only eye liner i use and i absolutely LOVE it! The price isn't that bad either especially because the quality of this product is by far top of the line! April 25, 2012Long Wearing, Glides on Easily I used to have a problem with my eyeliner disappearing within a hour two of application. I was referred to these by a sales girl at Sephora. She put some on me to try while I was shopping to see how it stood up to trying on clothes and just general wear for the afternoon. Hours later, I looked at it, and it was just as nice as when she'd applied it. Wow!! I immediately purchased 3 pencils in different colors and won't wear anything else now. These are also very creamy and go on easily without tugging on your eye. I love these pencils! You do need to have a good sharpener for them or they will shred and break. March 5, 2013GREAT but not great I just absolutely LOVE this eyeliner. It goes on smooth, and I don't have to be too rough on my eyes to get a great pigmentation. I have this eyeliner in Zero and Bourbon. LOVE LOVE LOVE. BUT there is a downside. IT DOES smear and fades in a few hours or so. I would have to reapply it. AND because of its smoothness, I guess the pencil runs out quick? It was disappointing that I had to sharpen it every 2-3 times I used it. It would go down so quick that I don't even notice it did, and the "wood" (?) part stabbed me on the eyelid. I guess UD can do something about that. But overall, I do love this product. Fix the smearing and the running out thing, then I'll give it five stars. February 17, 2012Best pencil eyeliner As someone with monolids, it is very hard to find eyeliner that doesn't smudge. I tried many pencil eyeliners before, but they always end up giving me racoon eyes. After trying UD 24/7 pencil eyeliner, I think I'm in love with this product! The color is very pigmented, glides on very smoothly, and the most important thing it stays on for very long time (with primer and eye shadow). It's great to line the waterline, it literally stays all day until I use make up remover. This product gives you pigment like gel liner but with the easiness of a pencil liner. Definitely recommend this and will purchase it again! February 26, 2012This product is the absolute best! I absolutely love this eyeliner!!!! It really is the only eyeliner I ever use. I can wear this eyeliner all day, accidentally fall asleep in it, and wake up with this eyeliner still looking flawless. If you don't believe me, then get this; Recently, I just ran a Tough Mudder. This is a 10 - 12 mile course filled with 25 obstacles created by British military. Those obstacles take you through mud, fire, and involve lots of swimming too. At 6 am I applied this eyeliner, fully completed Tough Mudder, and by 6 pm, I still had Urban Decay's 24/7 eyeliner (in Crash) perfectly applied on my eyes. This eyeliner can handle anything and won't come off until you take it off. I highly recommend this product to anyone. It is worth your money. October 30, 2012not 24/7 for me This eye liner was completely too oily and smears within an hour of application. There has been no way to make it last from the time of first applying and going out for the night. The glitter from the eyeliner ends up all over my cheeks (and not in a good way). The liner smears into the corners of my eyes. I look like a hot mess when I wear it! January 15, 2012Best black eyeliner ever I am in love with perversion! It is hands down the best black eyeliner I have ever come across! It is very creamy, goes on smoothly and if I set it with a bit of deslick powder it lasts me up to 12 hours at work. If I don't set it, it does end up getting smudged a bit during the day. I just us a slanted brush and lightly dab on the powder. These eyeliners are definitely a good product, but I wouldn't pay full price for them because I feel like they wear off on the water line. I have several of them that I have gotten because they were included with palettes I bought. These eyeliners are perfect for smokey looks but not anything precise, and its only okay on the water line, nothing unbelievable. I absolutely love these eyeliners for a smokey look on my upper lash line. for that purpose, these eyeliners are fantastic! If you are looking for a precise eyeliner that will be great for the waterline then these may disappoint you. November 3, 2011A Staple in Every Girl's Makeup Bag Overall, I would have to say this is the best eye pencil I have ever used. My only complaint is that it's difficult to guide or achieve a perfectly clean line with this pencil unless it is sharpened constantly. And despite other reviews, I still find that it does smudge after a few hours, especially if you have oily skin, monolids (that inevitably fold over the applied eyeliner), or use the product by itself without any primers. Nevertheless, I still consider it a necessity and basically cannot survive without it.
