PIGMENTED : It's really pigmented, the colour really appear good and stunning in my eyes, that's what we want from an eye pencil right? HIGH QUALITY : I don't need to say anymore about this,UD always provide the best products ever LONG LASTING : i live at Indonesia, hot tropical country ( you know Bali? that's in Indonesia, in case you don't know my country, i believe you know our paradise beautiful island :D) where if i don't use something that is long lasting, they will crease after 3-4 hours because of hot weather and sweat. so this one really satisfy me with it's ability i can say that the price is a little expensive for me, since i'm still a student but for you that have same pocket size with me, my idea is for saving up, and still buy this one why? since from all my eye pencil i ever have, this one really really good, just like MIRACLE! it really works so great compare to the prize, so you don't worry willw waste your money for this you will very satisfied with this like what i feel darling go grab one, or saving up from now to grab one! :D March 6, 2013Great Pencils! I am a recent UD addict & I have collected several of these eyeliners so far. I received a couple as samples (mildew & gunmetal) which was awesome, I got to try Zero & Oil Slick in palettes, I have Flipside, Ransom, & Whiskey from 2 pencil/sharpener sets, and I also managed to get my hands on the discontinued Dime & Baked. They are all such great colors! They are mostly easy to use but there have been a few occasions where they don't seem to glide on so well & I have to go over the line a couple of times, but I feel like that's because my house is freezing & that if it were a little warmer they would work fine. I don't generally line my waterline but I tried with these pencils & it worked out just ok, They are waterproof when applied to dry skin, but since the waterline is well already it doesn't work that well & it wears off pretty quickly. As for lining lashes, this stuff doesn't move. I just tried Philosophy's Purity face wash that claims to replace eye makeup remover & I was surprised that it removed my mascara so easily, but the eyeliner was still there, even after 2 washes! I had to break out my remover to get it off. Try these pencils for sure, but beware, UD is an expensive addiction! I want to buy every color of these pencils! LOL January 31, 2012One of my UD favorites! I love all the UD products I've used, but these pencils might be my ultimate favorites. My makeup bag now has a few different colors, and I use them for different looks- Underground- great neutral to subtly line the lower lash line for almost every look I do. Stash- Nice green that I use often for a smudgy look- it's neutral enough for a look that I can wear almost everyday. Ransom- This color turned out a little lighter than I expected when I bought it online, but I still like to use it for a winged look. Binge- Good for some color, but still good for everyday. I also just use this for a winged look on my upper lash line. Crash- My favorite color for a winged look! It's dark, but not harsh, and has a subtle bit of color but works almost like a neutral for me. The UD artist who got me hooked on pencils used this on my upper lash line and lined my lower lash line with Underground. The pencils are creamy, easy to apply, and come in some fun (but still wearable) colors. Maybe it's just me, but since the pencils have some staying power, sometimes I found it hard to do a good smudgy look with them (with the exception of my Stash pencil)- maybe I should try the Shadow Pencils for that. Still, I love all my pencils and I want to try more colors! February 8, 2012Meh... I do't get they hype on these. Maybe my skin is too oily? I have never described myself as having oily skin though. These guys come in all kinds of really awesome colors and have awesome pigment pay out during the initial application. However it does not last frequently when I use these I arrive home with little or no liner on. My guess is they are transferring to my hair when my hair falls in my face. Honestly I can't figure out where they go. The first one I tried was covet below my waterline with a different brand in my waterline. The color in my water line stayed intact during the 3 hours I was at a bbq however the UD one did not hold at and was totally *poof* gone when I got home. Experiment #2 I heavily lined my lower lid with Perversion both in and out. This time I played a show it was a short set about 30min and that was my only serious activity. I went home early and only a tiny bit remained around and in my waterline.I suspect that was probably the liner I had had on before I put on the perversion. I want this stuff to work so many cool color choices but honestly I have had better luck with drugstore brands. Oh I almost forgot! They are impossible to sharpen. They brake apart when you try to do so and it takes a lot of effort in the end. August 6, 2012The Best Liners EVER. I have a few different colors of these. I own Asphyxia (pinky), Binge (blue), Electric (teal), Zero (black), Perversion (blackest of black). When I started getting interested in make-up I originally went with MAC. However, one thing I did not like about MAC was their eye-liners. My eyes are watery, and around my eyes I have very oily skin, which causes a lot of my eye-liners to smear and create little circles of run-eyeliners at the corners of my eyes, NOT PRETTY. I tried Urban Decay's Zero eye-liner and LOVED it. It was something that finally stayed on my eyes, where I put it (in my water-lines on my eyes). I later bought the different colors, mainly for smudging it to create a more pigmented eye shadow, which they work wonderfully for that as well. Then, I was searching Urban Decay's website not too long ago, and saw they had a new black eye-liner, claiming to be the blackest (Perversion is the name). I thought it was silly, but oh no... they aren't kidding. I was at a beauty store and thought I would try it on my hand. This eye-liner did not come off in the shower (I didn't rub or try and take it off, I wanted to see if it would stay... it did). I am very impressed, there is such a thing as being the blackest and Perversion takes it home. I love it! February 7, 2012Adoreee! Definitely my go-to eyeliner. I purchased this eyeliner in the "Smoked" kit because I desperately needed a new eyeliner since the one I had previously been using was discontinued. The sales clerk assured me this was practically perfect & stayed on very well. I'm a frequent wearer of eyeliner & have tried manyyy, many kinds & this definitely does as the sales clerk said! I was surprised at how long it stayed on without the dreadful eyeliner smudging. I have no problems with smudging, usually a few hours into wearing my usual eyeliner I have odd creases & smudges under my eyes or on my upper eye lid & I have to constantly reapply it/fix it. This product literally stays where I apply it. It does fade some, but no where NEAR as much as anything else I've ever used. This will be my go to eyeliner from here on out & the pigments are lovely! The most vibrant "colorful" eyeliner that came in the kit was "mainline", which is a blue eyeliner & it isn't nearly as vibrant as some of the other colors offered by UD, but it makes my eyes just pop! So I can even imagine how the VERY vibrant ones would look. I adore this eyeliner & hope to soon purchase more colors! My only complaint is how quickly it goes! Haha. I feel I have to sharpen it a lot, but that being the only down side is fine with me. February 5, 2013I've thrown away all of my other brands! These liners are amazing. I own at least 17 (I have them scattered in my purse, at work, but 17 are sitting on my makeup stand) and I LOVE them! I know it seems like a lot to spend on eyeliner, but I find that these last a long time and they stay on all day compared to other brands I used to buy. Also, when applying the liner, I don't have to stretch and pull at my eye to get it to go on. They are creamy and apply very smoothly. I owned probably 3 or 4 other brands and I finally just threw them away after realizing I would never use them again. The colors are BEAUTIFUL and if you are ever wondering what they look like, Sephora stores carry them and you can see them there! The pigmentation is awesome like other people have said but there are a few colors I own that I have to layer and add other colors to in order to get them to POP! Zero is my basic color but I love Perversion, Whiskey, Ransom, Asphyxia, Mildew, and Baked. I love them all really but I use those the most! Plus I love how much they compliment the matching shadows! I have purchased the little duo kits as gifts and given away some of the small ones I get with the eyeshadow kits and everyone LOVES them! I'm working on getting as many people addicted as I am! It was my first and it is definitely my favorite Urban Decay product. January 31, 2012High pigmented, easy to use,gel-like, long lasting eyeliner! This has been my go to eyeliner for the past 4 years now. I bought my first UD pallatte around that time frame and included were 2 24/7 pencils. I was amazed at how effortlessly they glided on. I was a new makeup artist, and the speed and ease in which this liner went onto my clients made lining waterlines a piece of cake. unlike other gel/soft liners, this one stays pigmented. Especially on the waterline! (inside of your eyelid) You can quickly line, and the color is consistently bold all the way through, and it STAYS that way all day! It is worth every penny, especially if black is your go to liner. The reason cheaper liners dont seem as bold and bright, is bc it costs alot to make a pure black liner. Alot of others will have a grey tinge to them bc the companies just dont spend the money to give you an amazing product. Also, the price ends up working out since it IS so pigmented and does last so long. Youre not constantly reapplying. Once you put it on, youre set! and thats the thing i love about this pencil the most. I also use electric in the summer time on my lower lash lines, with an orange lipstick on my lips. The combination of bright colors with sun kissed skin adds oomph and attention without looking like a clown! Its just something fun to pop in there for some added flavor and juiceyness!
