Most of the other ones I've used haven't been nearly as pigmented and are rough on the soft skin around my eyes, and they fade fast, especially when placed on the waterline, but these are amazing!! They're smooth, beautifully pigmented, and stay on all day, even in the waterline. I'm in school and don't have time to go fixing my make-up between classes, and these eyeliners are the only ones that I've ever felt confident about wearing all day. Though I felt maybe I was too old for this product the artist in me said "go ahead and try them" so I did. I got raves from my friends at work. I really like that about UD, that they have tons of colors to choose from. These pencils glide onto your lids so effortlessly and you can layer it on so the color is lighter or darker, any which way you want really. And they stay on all day and all night, which I love because you don't have to constantly retouch it. I also put on a bit of primer before I start, which makes the colors pop out even more. I even got my mother into these pencils. She too was turned on by the various colors and the richness of it as well as how it glided on smoothly. I'd definitely recommend! August 9, 2012THE Little Black Eyeliner If you're looking for that little black liner to go with your little black dress, Zero 24/7 is it. It is by far the best black eyeliner I have ever used. It doesn't have glitter or shimmer or sparkle; its a true, matte, and extremely pigmented black. This liner glides on satin smooth and WILL NOT melt off after a few hours, even without primer. However, I find the line it gives is too defined so I like to smudge it up a little bit. I highly recommend Zero as a UD basic product for newbies to the line. July 26, 2011A True Lifesaver! January 3, 2012Ran immediately under my eyes I bought this eyeliner because it was described on TV as being water and oil resistant. I have to put drops in my eyes for dry eyes so I am always looking for an eyeliner that does not run. I have an inexpensive one that works well, but I thought this would be even better. Within a couple of minutes of putting on the eyeliner, there there was a black mess underneath my eyes. I had not put in eye drops before or after using the Urban Decay product. It kept coming. Finally I removed it with a cream that I use to remove eye makeup. It still ran a bit. I was utterly disappointed. Not only did it not perform, but it cost about 4 times more than the one that I normally use. March 19, 2012This product is very smooth and really does glide on. I do love this product but nothing like eyeliner will ever stay on my eyes and I am a a victim to panda eyes so all the makeup will just go down underneath my eyes. I was hoping for this one to be different because I have heard so many great things about it, but I still had a small problem with them. i got a gift pack of a few and the dark colors like the black and purple stayed on well, but the more colorful colors like blue did not stay on at all. I do like the color selection and I know that my friend has these as well and she loves them so this is all based on me and I also have more oily skin so that might have something to do with it as well. July 30, 2011Very hard to use I was REALLY excited to try this eyeliner, because I had heard that it was supposed to be amazing, but I found it hard to use for several reasons: -It doesn't glide the pigment on very well, like most similarly priced eyeliners do! You have to go over it multiple times and when you finally get color, it is a thick, creased line. -Every time I've tried so sharpen it, the pigment breaks off and it is a waste. So I haven't been able to get a moderately thin line since the first time I used it =( -It is kind of expensive. These are thee best eyeliners, ever. They are so smooth && pigmented. They last all day, at the end of the day when I come to wash my makeup off, it looks just like it did when I applied it early in the morning. July 26, 2011Best Eyeliner Ever. I love this eyeliner, I have it in zero and am totally looking forward to buying a purple. It's easy to use, and perfect glide on. You have a few seconds of a grace period if you want to smudge it or leave it, and this thing lasts forever on my eyes! Even after shadows have long faded, I look in the mirror 6-9 hours later and it's still there. Even if I get too lazy and leave it on when I go to bed, I can wake up the next morning with it STILL on perfectly. When you're ready to get it off, it offers no resistance to makeup remover. All around perfect Urban Decay product! I just wish that they were cheaper, and had more than just one color on sale... December 7, 2011I LOVE WHISKEY! Whiskey is such a wonderful shade of brown and for me it's very versatile, the pencil glides on smooth and won't smudge, practically everlasting truth be told. I like using Whiskey (brown) and Zero (black) to make a classic smokey eye. I like browns, golds, coppers for eyeshadow and Eldorado (gold) on inner corners corners of top and lower lid with Whiskey meeting in the middle towards the outer corners of top lid and Stash (green) to line the outside of my lower lid works wonders. I've purchased these pencils in different presentations and colors (24/7 Duo + Sharpener is a great buy), I am eagerly awaiting the addition of more shades! February 17, 2012Hello creamy! I love UD's 24/7 eyeliners! They are all very rich, creamy, & smooth. Not to mention how waterproof they are. They glide on seamlessly and effortlessly without tugging on your skin. They also have a very wide range of colors to select from. TWO things I do wish about the change of the eyeliners are it being (twistable) without having to sharpen them and them to be truly smudge proof as well. I know everyone has different eye sets and skin types, but even after using UD's primer potion I still have smudging problems when using the eyeliner. These are the only draw backs I have from these eyeliners. Overall, they are fun and ahmaazing! August 7, 2012Worth Every Penny It is hard to spend $18 on an eyeliner...but I am SO glad I did! I have the mini pencil in "Zero" and after using it everyday for the past 3 months, there is still a good two inches of pencil left! I can't even imagine how long the full size one I just bought is going to last. It's more than worth it because even the best drugstore eyeliners run you $7-10 and only last a few months. As for the quality...oh my gosh! GLIDES on and stays on ALL DAY. As a college student I take naps frequently and I never have to worry about waking up to black smudging and retouching before I go anywhere. It just stays put, end of story. I will be a loyal UD 24/7 Eye pencil user for life. February 3, 2012I've probably used enough eyeliners to make it to Taipei and back... ...But 24/7's are my favorite. They glide on really nicely, but aren't so soft that the entire tip mashes down before you have one eye lined. I was a teenager in the 90's, and went thru my Courtney Love phase, and my goth phase, so I'm definitely a qualified eyeliner expert. These are pretty amazing. They really, really don't smudge, unless you want them to. I've gone through about 3 Zeroes, but have yet to try Perversion. Zero is pretty black, but it's not the blackest ever, which is why they probably came out with Perversion. The colored ones are really nice as well. The colors are very vibrant, and are true to the pictures online. February 18, 2012Best eyeliner! Both my daughter and I use UD 24/7 eyeliners and won't use any other pencil. These are so creamy they go on with no 'pulling', and the pigment is heavily saturated. I swipe it on, smudge a little with my finger, and it stays put without fading until I take it off. I am more of a neutrals gal, but my seventeen-year-old daughter loves the bright colors and creates a ton of cool, vibrant looks with them. One other thing I want to mention is how easy these are to sharpen, unlike other eyeliners I've used. A couple of turns in the sharpener and they are good to go. No broken tips and wasted product which makes the pencils last a long time. February 28, 2012Best eyeliner ever! I love this eyeliner. I have used so much of them over the years. I love the range of colors. There is usually a gparkly pigment and a flat pigment that are similarly toned depending on what you want. I love the sparkle in colors but in black i want it flat and i liek that option.They don't smudge as much as other brands. I still have to wipe under my eyes at lunch becasue of a little smudging, but if i use the primer on the bottom of my eyes it helps and if i put a little extra powder under my eyes it also helps. The only thing i dont liek is that they don't sharpen all that well. I feel like i am wastin a lot of the pencil in thesharpening process. March 12, 2013Kind of pricey for what you get Let me start off by saying, I am obsessed with Urban decay. I have over 9 shadow box palettes included both naked palettes the book of shadows and the 15 anniversary. My first urban decay product was the Illusion cream to powder compact. I was in love. But I was very disappointed when I bought most every color of these pencils. I don't find them to be any better than the sephora brand pencils or my longtime covergirl favorite, and they are way more expensive. Most of the time Urban Decay pricing is very expensive, but at the same time, very worth it. There is nothing wrong with them, they just didn't live up to Urban decay standards for me. April 29, 2012Love Absolutly love UDs 24/7 glide on eyeliner in zero! It stays put all day and night i only have to apply once and its perfect all day. No smudging no tunning or fading. I tried perversion because it was the newest edition and was told it was thr blackest. True it is very pugmented... But it smudges on me and falls in my fine lines in a few hours. May work for some but unfortunately not me! I do however LOVE ZERO!!!! I recommend this product in zero to everyone i know. I even by it as birthday gifts. These shadows POP I loved the 24/7 shadow pencils because the colors are amazing, vibrant and glittery girlie shimmer. All I can say is, "Hello gorgeous!" As an attorney with an active schedule and much torment on a daily basis, I need shadows that LAST and make my baby blues look ever so lovely without having to worry about creasing, fading and the dreaded raccoon-eye syndrome from slippage. I bought the travel size sampler and now I want MORE MORE MORE! Sigh....even the neutrals have a sweet shimmer and the peacock blue...don't get me started. Amazing stuff. I made no effort to remove it but it stayed on overnight! I love the sin shade for my lower waterline, and the clash color is fabulous for everything glam. The taupe shades are different but I don't know a lot of reasons to own two different browns. I haven't used the purple yet but it will probably help my smokey eye look! I do like the color selection and I know that my friend has these as well and she loves them so this is all based on me and I also have more oily skin so that might have something to do with it as well. March 11, 2013ONLY COMPLAINT-NOT ENOUGH COLORS!! i LOVE urban decay's 24/7 liner pencils, they're creamy but they stay put, once they set that's it they're not coming off until you wash them off! my only complaint is - i wish there were more colors, i have every color they've made so far and they're still lacking some colors but hte product itself is awesome and i would not use other liners, except for colors i can't get in UD but oil slick and zero are my go-tos for black, BINGE please never get rid of- i only wish it weren't such a sheer navy i'm thinking make goddess eyeshadow into a liner and that would be the ultimate navy blue liner pencil! also mushroom since it's such a popular shadow shade July 27, 2011Love, love, LOVE! This is the best pencil eyeliner I've ever used. Ever. Usually, pencil eyeliners tear at my eyes, and feel really rough. With the Urban Decay 24/7, that is not the case at all! The formula is so creamy, yet it stays on all day! Most of the pencils I've used in the past melt off my eyes half way through the day. The 24/7 pencil is also great for your waterline, and it, surprisingly, stays on the waterline quite well! I am so happy with this product, and I would buy it again and again! July 30, 2011Very hard to use I was REALLY excited to try this eyeliner, because I had heard that it was supposed to be amazing, but I found it hard to use for several reasons: -It doesn't glide the pigment on very well, like most similarly priced eyeliners do! You have to go over it multiple times and when you finally get color, it is a thick, creased line. -Every time I've tried so sharpen it, the pigment breaks off and it is a waste. So I haven't been able to get a moderately thin line since the first time I used it =( -It is kind of expensive. However, I think you should try it out because everyone has different experiences with makeup products and you can always return it! =) February 19, 2012The most perfect eyeliner there is! These are thee best eyeliners, ever. They are so smooth && pigmented. They last all day, at the end of the day when I come to wash my makeup off, it looks just like it did when I applied it early in the morning. I have recommended these eyeliners to my friends and family and will continue to do so. I own so many colors, including some limited edition colors, and they are all so pretty. There is so many looks you can do with such a wide variety of colors! July 26, 2011Best Eyeliner Ever. I love this eyeliner, I have it in zero and am totally looking forward to buying a purple. It's easy to use, and perfect glide on. You have a few seconds of a grace period if you want to smudge it or leave it, and this thing lasts forever on my eyes! Even after shadows have long faded, I look in the mirror 6-9 hours later and it's still there. Even if I get too lazy and leave it on when I go to bed, I can wake up the next morning with it STILL on perfectly. When you're ready to get it off, it offers no resistance to makeup remover. All around perfect Urban Decay product! I just wish that they were cheaper, and had more than just one color on sale... December 7, 2011I LOVE WHISKEY! Whiskey is such a wonderful shade of brown and for me it's very versatile, the pencil glides on smooth and won't smudge, practically everlasting truth be told. I like using Whiskey (brown) and Zero (black) to make a classic smokey eye. I like browns, golds, coppers for eyeshadow and Eldorado (gold) on inner corners corners of top and lower lid with Whiskey meeting in the middle towards the outer corners of top lid and Stash (green) to line the outside of my lower lid works wonders. I've purchased these pencils in different presentations and colors (24/7 Duo + Sharpener is a great buy), I am eagerly awaiting the addition of more shades! February 17, 2012Hello creamy! I love UD's 24/7 eyeliners! They are all very rich, creamy, & smooth. Not to mention how waterproof they are. They glide on seamlessly and effortlessly without tugging on your skin. They also have a very wide range of colors to select from. TWO things I do wish about the change of the eyeliners are it being (twistable) without having to sharpen them and them to be truly smudge proof as well. I know everyone has different eye sets and skin types, but even after using UD's primer potion I still have smudging problems when using the eyeliner. These are the only draw backs I have from these eyeliners. Overall, they are fun and ahmaazing! August 7, 2012Worth Every Penny It is hard to spend $18 on an eyeliner...but I am SO glad I did! I have the mini pencil in "Zero" and after using it everyday for the past 3 months, there is still a good two inches of pencil left! I can't even imagine how long the full size one I just bought is going to last. It's more than worth it because even the best drugstore eyeliners run you $7-10 and only last a few months. As for the quality...oh my gosh! GLIDES on and stays on ALL DAY. As a college student I take naps frequently and I never have to worry about waking up to black smudging and retouching before I go anywhere. It just stays put, end of story. I will be a loyal UD 24/7 Eye pencil user for life. February 3, 2012I've probably used enough eyeliners to make it to Taipei and back... ...But 24/7's are my favorite. They glide on really nicely, but aren't so soft that the entire tip mashes down before you have one eye lined. I was a teenager in the 90's, and went thru my Courtney Love phase, and my goth phase, so I'm definitely a qualified eyeliner expert. These are pretty amazing. They really, really don't smudge, unless you want them to. I've gone through about 3 Zeroes, but have yet to try Perversion. Zero is pretty black, but it's not the blackest ever, which is why they probably came out with Perversion. The colored ones are really nice as well. The colors are very vibrant, and are true to the pictures online. February 18, 2012Best eyeliner! Both my daughter and I use UD 24/7 eyeliners and won't use any other pencil. These are so creamy they go on with no 'pulling', and the pigment is heavily saturated. I swipe it on, smudge a little with my finger, and it stays put without fading until I take it off. I am more of a neutrals gal, but my seventeen-year-old daughter loves the bright colors and creates a ton of cool, vibrant looks with them. One other thing I want to mention is how easy these are to sharpen, unlike other eyeliners I've used. A couple of turns in the sharpener and they are good to go. No broken tips and wasted product which makes the pencils last a long time. February 28, 2012Best eyeliner ever! I love this eyeliner. I have used so much of them over the years. I love the range of colors. There is usually a gparkly pigment and a flat pigment that are similarly toned depending on what you want. I love the sparkle in colors but in black i want it flat and i liek that option.They don't smudge as much as other brands. I still have to wipe under my eyes at lunch becasue of a little smudging, but if i use the primer on the bottom of my eyes it helps and if i put a little extra powder under my eyes it also helps. The only thing i dont liek is that they don't sharpen all that well. I feel like i am wastin a lot of the pencil in thesharpening process. March 12, 2013Kind of pricey for what you get Let me start off by saying, I am obsessed with Urban decay. I have over 9 shadow box palettes included both naked palettes the book of shadows and the 15 anniversary. My first urban decay product was the Illusion cream to powder compact. I was in love. But I was very disappointed when I bought most every color of these pencils. I don't find them to be any better than the sephora brand pencils or my longtime covergirl favorite, and they are way more expensive. Most of the time Urban Decay pricing is very expensive, but at the same time, very worth it. There is nothing wrong with them, they just didn't live up to Urban decay standards for me. April 29, 2012Love Absolutly love UDs 24/7 glide on eyeliner in zero! It stays put all day and night i only have to apply once and its perfect all day. No smudging no tunning or fading. I tried perversion because it was the newest edition and was told it was thr blackest. True it is very pugmented... But it smudges on me and falls in my fine lines in a few hours. May work for some but unfortunately not me! I do however LOVE ZERO!!!! I recommend this product in zero to everyone i know. I even by it as birthday gifts. I hope to try some other colors too someday... Lucky, demolition, rockstar, crash, oil slick, ..... Hope to keep using this liner forever! March 6, 2013Bada bing bada BLING! These shadows POP I loved the 24/7 shadow pencils because the colors are amazing, vibrant and glittery girlie shimmer. All I can say is, "Hello gorgeous!" As an attorney with an active schedule and much torment on a daily basis, I need shadows that LAST and make my baby blues look ever so lovely without having to worry about creasing, fading and the dreaded raccoon-eye syndrome from slippage. I bought the travel size sampler and now I want MORE MORE MORE! Sigh....even the neutrals have a sweet shimmer and the peacock blue...don't get me started. Amazing stuff. Easy to apply - doesn't snag the eyelids and give you stretchmarks where none ought to be. Love it. BUY IT - you won't regret it. February 1, 2012HOLY GRAIL Most AMAZING eyeliner EVER!!! I have tried every brand of eyeliner I could get my hands on and it never failed, a couple hours after applying my makeup I looked like a raccoon or had no liner left at all. I was turned on to UD over a year ago and the day I tried 24/7 eyeliner is the day I heard the angels sing!! My first purchase was the color Lust and I was in love....not only did my liner not run nor smudge but at the end of the day it still looked as if I had just applied it!! :) Needless to say, I never buy any eyeliner other than UD 24/7....it's my HOLY GRAIL and I'd be willing to bet if you give it a try it will be yours too!! June 30, 201124 hours no kidding! Very nice glides like a dream, and stays. I always swatch my makeup and i applied this to my hand to see the colors. I made no effort to remove it but it stayed on overnight! I love the sin shade for my lower waterline, and the clash color is fabulous for everything glam. The taupe shades are different but I don't know a lot of reasons to own two different browns. I haven't used the purple yet but it will probably help my smokey eye look!
