First, I had to use a bright blue 24/7 eyeliner, then line it with the Air Guitar glitter for the extra pop I was going for. I'm also pretty shaky with liquid, so I couldn't get a good straight line (another reason for putting it over the eyeliner, I'll post a picture). Overall, I really liked it, and they aren't lying when they say it doesn't move once it's on. But if it's hard for you to apply liquid eyeliner, this probably isn't for you. I'm a penny-pincher so naturally I've looked at half a dozen other brands before finally settling with this one. Why? Though the other brands were initially cheaper the brushes were too big to create an accurate line, they clumped, smelled, and did not last long. It just wasn't worth it. I have followed the UD Heavy Metal Glitter liner for about 3 years, I still have the one I bought 3 years ago, guess what? I can still use it! If you're looking for something that will last, look professional, apply smoothly and accurately, don't waste you're money anywhere else. It's just not worth it. February 17, 2012Great...when it goes on the right way This product is stunning, but very difficult to use. I have it in spandex. It only looks good over black eye liner. The brush is so tiny it barely holds any sparkles. I have to do about 5 coats to get the effect i want. It looks bad on its own. Sometimes, it will cut through the black eyeliner underneath which looks awful. That all being said, when i do manage to apply it correctly, it looks awesome. Its great for going out and partying, or just for a bit of sparkle during the day. But i wouldnt say its worth 18 dollars. February 2, 2012If you like glitter, this is worth every penny. I have been using the sephora white glitter liner for a couple years, but I found it lacking in saturation and it would literally burn when it dried. I purchased the distortion heavy metal after my friend could not stop raving about the product. I love it. It glides on easily and there is no burning when it dries. I like to use this at the inner corner of my eyes and right under the wing tip of my liner. It adds just the perfect amount of brightness to any look. These are amazing glitter liners that aren't goopy or clumpy, and have a highly concentrated amount of glitter. They're easy to layer for super sparkle, and fast drying. I sometimes like to put a little on my fingers and dab over eyeshadow for a little sparkle. August 22, 2011Super glittery - stays put! This liner is very forgiving. If you are like me and can't draw a straight line with liquid liner, don't worry! Since it's a clear base with glitter, it's not as noticeable when you mess up and if you do, just wipe it off and touch it up. It doesn't dry so fast that you can't adjust it as needed when applying. You can build the glitter up as thin or as thick as you want it and once dry, it stays put. I've never had a problem getting glitter in my eye or anything. It goes on well with good coverage and does not flake off. One thing- be careful when you buy it- check the brush. I have gotten liners with very bad/ragged brushes and had to return them.
