Can't live without it
I LOVE this product. I don't know how I lived without it. It definitely performs as advertised and blurs out imperfections. It's like magic.
BUT the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. You can't just run the applicator puff on your face, it'll mess up your foundation. And if you pat the puff on your face to expel the powder it feels like a lot of it flies into the air. You can remove the top and use a brush to apply, but the superfine texture means you gotta be extra careful tapping the excess off your brush.
Packaging issues aside, this is worth every single penny. I would like to see it in a travel size and/or deluxe size as well.

The first thing I noticed about this powder is that it's silky smooth and an extremely fine powder. The second is that after I put it on with the convenient applicator, I had to look it the mirror to make sure I had actually applied it. I had applied it, and my skin look flawless. My skin was flawless, shine-free, and had never looked better with any other product I've used. It didn't smear or fade any of the makeup I had already applied, either. I honestly can't say enough good things about this product! So, ladies, stop the search for a great finish powder (or foundation, even) and try this wonderful product out for yourselves!

Packaging needs to go.
I hardly ever use foundation or powders, but since I got this in a sample size with the Urban Bride kit, I figured I should try everything out. The powder is light and barely noticeable in the way it feels, but make a huge difference for me in appearance. I have some slight redness on my nose forehead and cheeks and this powder alone really helps even me out!
I agree with the majority though in that the sponge is a pain and the product would be better off without it. Maybe instead of changing other products' packaging, UD could give a little attention to this issue? It doesn't seem like news to anyone...

Best mineral cover EVER!!!
I was skepital about this product at first, because of all the bad reviews about the applicator. But all that aside, I ended up getting to try it for free when I purchased my Naked2 palette. (It was a sample) First time using it, I was hooked! Simply pulled the sponge applicator off, poured it into the lid as I would with any other mineral product, and buffed away all my shine and imperfections! Leaves me looking matte, but I can still feel my skin being soft underneath, which is still great, since it's controlling the oil, not the moisture. I know for sure once I run out of my sample, I will run out and make the purchase. Great stuff!!!!

Great product, terrible packaging
Like many others I hate the packaging of this product. When I bought this powder I tried it out with the intended applicator (the poof) and quickly decided that I would be repotting this.
Once I moved the product to a more conventional container, it was so much more easy to control and apply.
This powder helps me stay shine free for at least 3 hours longer than I would with just regular face powder.
Also, I find that the "soft focused" effect is present on me but only for the first 30 mins to an hour.
I deducted one star just for the packaging as I find it highly impractical.
I mainly wanted this product for the matifying properties and it has definitely delivered for me.

Disappointed :(
I hate to write a bad review, but i was really unsatisfied with this. When I received this product it was covered in its own translucent powder because it leaked during shipping. When I tried the product it didn't seem to do anything. When I was photographed with it on, there was absolutely no stunning, soft focus effect. It was hard to figure out how to use and apply. It seemed like a lot of the product was wasted when trying to close over the pouf. I did not like that the pouf did not detach. I was bitterly disappointed. I do not suggest this product. For the amount suggested for this product, it is definitely not worth it.

Will never use another brand again!
I received this product unexpectedly, ad when I first opened it I wasn't sure about the powder quality because i couldn't open it up and test with the application sponge. But after I used it, im hooked for good!
-Provides a perfect soft finish that does not feel like a second skin, or rub off too easily.
-Has an open and close feature to prevent wasting the product.
The only thing that I did not like about this product was the sponge top, I have never liked them and it held minimal difficulty with getting the pigments to the surface. But overall This is an amazingly defined powder product that is very hard to find these days with all the contaminates to skin.

USELESS DESIGN
The applicator makes this product useless. I've pushed it and pumped it countless times to try to get the powder to come to the surface, and it works to a degree when it's completely upside-down on the back of my hand...but unfortunately I never LAY DOWN when I apply makeup, so I don't see how this could ever get onto my face.
Other reviewers say they ripped off the sponge top, or even purchased a new container for the powder. It seems ridiculous to me that when you pay this much for a product, you still need to jump through hoops just to get it to function. Urban Decay needs to do better.
