Moon SpoonRatings SummaryStardust 223 223So gorgeous! First of all, I think these shadows are GORGEOUS! The micro-glitter looks amazing, simply mesmerizing! However, they are a bit tricky to apply. I also find that I get s LOT of fall out from these. It's not just glitter, the color itself just does not want to stick. Blending is nearly impossible, because it all just comes off when you try to blend it out! Once you manage to get it applied (however that happens to work out) they look so pretty. And another noteworthy feature is the unique packaging! You squeeze the sides and the plastic top pops open! I'm a sucker for little features and details like that! This stardust eyeshadow is my favorite glittery eyeshadow because the glitter is so small that it creates an amazing sparkling effect on your eyelid with every blink or wink. Space cowboy seems to work well over all of my other eyeshadow shades, transforming my matte shadows into glimmering starry shades. I have found that to get the most out of my Stardust eyeshadow, I use primer on my eyelids, moisten the eyeshadow brush with water before picking up shadow, and pat on the shadow instead of pulling across the eyelid. This helps the shadow stay on longer, decreases fallout, increases sparkle on the eyelids, and keeps application even. April 19, 2012super sparkly My eye is immediately drawn to anything sparkly, so I love these shadows. They look great all over the lid for a more obvious look, but they can be more subtle when used as an eyeliner. I would certainly recommend a primer with these. They say no fallout, but there is some, especially if you use a shadow brush with looser bristles. I've attached pictures of Midnight Cowboy put on very lightly with a loose bristled brush over Eden eyeshadow primer. January 31, 2012All that glitters! I absolutely love this eyeshadow! I bought it in Bobby Dazzle, and it is absolutely beautiful! The color isn't too intense, but still very visible. The glitter in the shadow is very, very fine, so it doesn't look like that chunky glitter young girls use. I feel like this is a very happy medium between I'm a party girl kind of glitter and I'm a grown woman kind of glitter. I also have little to no fallout with this shadow. I wore it today, just as a simple wash of color because I was in a hurry, and I got rave reviews all day long! And I work with 200+ people, so trust and believe me when I say that I got -a lot- of compliments! February 25, 2013Nice subtle sparkle I received the sample featuring Space Cowboy and Retrograde and I absolutely love the subtle sparkle from the micro-glitter. However, there is a LOT of fallout from the glitter. So unless you want the rest of your face to sparkle, you might want to pass on this. But, I do have to say that I love these two colors and they worked well together to provide somewhat of a neutral look for the workplace. I'd purchase the full-sized version just because of this, and I'll deal with the glittery fallout somehow. September 6, 2011I <3 Stardust Eye-shadows! UD needs a Stardust palette... I'm in love with the Stardust eye shadows. They are all so pretty. I wear Space Cowboy all the time - sometimes on my lid and sometimes just in the corner of my eye (works great with browns/light colors)! I keep crossing my fingers and toes UD comes out with a Stardust palette with a few complimentary shades (a la Urban Bride look!) and maybe a Stardust lipgloss. This is what I wish Midnight Emergency was...and I'd totally pay for a Stardust palette! November 14, 2011Great for sultry eyes without fallout. I adore heavily pigmented statement eye make-up and find that this product really delivers. It is very easy to achieve variable depths of the shadow's shade by gradually building up your colour, blending out to create fade or by using the shadow wet for a more opaque sweep of colour. The glitter is there but isn't obnoxious and fallout during application is minimal. I didn't experience creasing or smudging throughout either day or night wear. When used with Primer Potion, this shadow lasts from morning until night, which is fantastic for busy days out.
