Edgy, Dark, Dramatic...and a lot of fun My go to look as a musician. I love the dark, edgy, gothic colors that are provided in the Black Palette. With names like Sabbath, Barracuda, Jet, and Black Dog it conjures images of legendary rock songs/bands. These eyeshadows are very pigmented, on the dark side (although with a very light application they can be used by anyone looking for a edgier look. This kit also comes with a travel sized bottle of primer potion in eden, a matte nude primer (perfect to go under these dark shades) and a travel sized 24/7 zero eyeliner (also a fave) My personal favorite look is Jet, a rich, dark purple sparkly eyeshadow paired with black dog, a dark, matte black. Gives you the edge I love the colors in this palette. The colors are perfect for the smokey eye, but what is even better is that you can create many combinations of smokey eyes, using the colors in the palette and even adding some of UD's other colors. You can get the purple smokey eye, the classic grey-black smokey eye, or even a mix of purple and green smokey eye. This palette is great for nights out or even high-end events. April 18, 2012
A nice palette to have, but not a necessity from Urban Decay. I love being able to use the darker bright colors in my crease instead of black. Jet and Libertine are probably my favorite colors in the set. You can also just do a dark smokey eye with just this palette, but I prefer to use other Urban Decay eyeshadows I have. While it isn't my most loved palette, it's still a nice one to have. April 17, 2012
