Rated 5 out of 5 by Pakanunthon Definitely Must Have!!!
My face has an oily T-zone and i wear makeup. Bangkok's temperature and air conditioner always cause unwanted oily face during the day and I used to use oil remover film pad all the time. But once I got this setting spray from Urban Decay, my skin finally met its match!! This product really helps! It doesnt make my skin dry like it happened with some simlilar products I had. I can still feel that my skin gets a bit oily but the product prevents me from looking shinny and I'm totally happy with my face at 6PM without having to touch up during the day. And I can now say goodbye to the oil remover film.

The reason this item has 4 instead of 5 stars is that it doesn't keep my face free from oil. I have extremely oily skin and I've found I have to apply a shine-free product first and then apply make-up and then use the De-Slick. My make-up STAYS, especially my eye-makeup, which I am extremely happy about! I don't wear foundation, only powder as that's all I need to even out my facial skin tone. I find I still need to use something to pick up the excess oil around my forehead, nose, the sides of my nose, under my nose and chin as the day goes on. I'm going to look and see if Urban Decay has a pre-setting spray that I can use first, prior to applying make-up and then setting spray. Overall, a great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Conchita23 Fantastic Product
Purchased the smallest bottle to try it out, it's fantastic. Loved it so much I purchased the 4 oz. bottle. I read the "one star" review, remember, there are many types of skin and conditions we live in. I live in south Florida. For my location and my skin type - fair - this product works perfect. What I don't know is why they changed the bottle. Perhaps for marketing reasons but the new bottle is classy looking. On Amazon you'll still see the old style look, very cheezy. Is it the same ingredients? Will find out. just ordered a new bottle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Exotiquemua Maybe I'm just TOO oily?
I purchased this product along with All Nighter to use on a wedding job I had. I wanted to make sure the ladies faces held up as long as possible. I mostly purchased De-Slick for myself, as I get VERY oily and am constantly searching for ways to hold my look together without using powders, as those tend to get cakey on me and also make me look pale (I'm a dark skinned woman) Anyway, I found that...this really only held off my shine for about 2-3 hours. Which to me...isn't really a long time at all. I don't know if maybe I'm just too oily for these types of products to give me any real lasting effect? I don't know, but I wasn't blown away by the spray :( It sets a little longer if I used Milk of Magnesia, under my powder foundation and THEN set with this...but that's alot to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RynTS Great oil control and gentle enough to use on extremely acne prone skin
This product works wonders for my skin. Not only is my skin extremely oily but it is ungodly sensitive. I've tried every setting spray on the market and they either didn't stop the oil or, for whatever reason made my skin produce so much oil that I broke out. Cystic acne break outs are not fun.
So I decided to try this setting spray, yes it is a setting spray and does not take away acne, but it did control the oil enough that my makeup wouldn't slide off and reveal my acne scarred face. This is well worth the money and a little goes a long way. The formula is lightweight and doesn't feel like hair spray on your face or Ben Nye's final seal spray, which made my skin feel tight and plastic like. This one is light weight but boy does it hold the oil at bay and keep your make up looking good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gotham23 How did I live without this for so long?!
I recently decided to give this setting spray a try, and went with the travel size before I committed to the more expensive full-size option. I am sincerely blown away! I am quite oily, especially lately as a result of the intense Florida summer heat. My L'Oreal Infallible setting spray just wasn't up to the new challenge. I've had to really do my homework and change-up my beauty regiment, and this was one of the new products I am so happy I discovered. I do recommend pairing this with other oil-control products, as this setting spray is wonderful, but still benefits from the support of other oil-control products. Personally, I use Soap and Glory's 'One Heck of a Blot' primer AND pressed powder, and then set everything with UD's De-Slick setting spray. Trust Me: You need this magical combo in your life!

Rated 2 out of 5 by LadyRae13 No Shine Control
I have an oily T-zone but the rest of my face is dry to normal. Even when I went about my normal day, this spray did nothing to stave off the 2pm shine. Wouldn't have prevented shine from the gym or outside for sure. The rest of my face (which is usually clear due to my dry skin) started to break out while I was using this product (and cleared back up after I stopped using it). Fortunately, the mattifying powder works much better for me; I'd recommend that over this spray.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DeeLee Good, but not flawless in humidity
I bought this setting spray from Ulta figuring it must be better than the NYX Matte setting spray I've been using. I have SUPER oily skin, like cut up a potato and deep fry it in my pores kinda oily. Therefore, my makeup always seems to be floating over my skin halfway through the day regardless of how I apply, how often I touch up, and what products I use. However, with this setting spray my makeup at leasts lasts all day, especially my eyeshadow. I don't know if others do, but I make sure I get my eyelids when spraying my face down with this product due to having heavily hooded eyes. At the end of the day my eyeshadow still had a little life and despite the fact that my skin was very oily ( not the setting sprays fault, its Florida) my makeup still looked decent and didn't melt away or been carried off by the gallons of sweat the humidity brought on.
