I am in love with my Naked palettes. They suite me perfectly. But I bought the Smoked palette for a change. I used it on my cousin for prom before I used it myself. They applied like butter on toast. So smooth and blended so well. Right after I was done with her smokey eyes for the night, I decided (even though I wasn't going anywhere) it was my turn.
LOVED IT! I applied a green themed smokey eye and could not be happier. I took myself out after that! =). This isn't your basic black grey browns and white smokey eye palette. THIS is an evolved idea of what smokey eyes can be. The book is a great guide for the novice as well.

Seductive Smoke!
I love this palette. I'm so happy that there are mattes and shimmers!
The shade selection is so versatile that it can be easily pulled off by any skin tone, any eye color. There are neutral shades as well as jewel-toned shades, so you really can't go wrong. Every shade is very pigmented, long-lasting, blendable, and high quality. I don't get fall-out with any of these.
The combination possibilities are endless! Each shade looks incredibly sexy on the skin, I don't know how UD does it!
This palette is a great value for how many shades you're getting. It would be great for anyone who is looking for high quality shadows and pigmented colors.

Great for any occasion!
This is amazing! The quality of Urban Decay make up is beyond stellar, the colors are so pigmented and go on SO smoothly. I never have faded or patchy eyeshaddow, even after dancing at a wedding. On top of the primer potion especially, the colors are very vibrant. I love that the colors in this pallett allow you to create the perfect amount of smoke, from a light, fresh daytime look all the way to a sultry nighttime smolder and anything in-between. The packaging is both attractive and functional, with a zippered closure and slight padding, you know your new favorite pallett will be safe. This is a must have, in any make up collection!

Another great UD palette !
Once again UD does it with an amazing palette ! Needless to say the quality and pigmentation is amazing. What I love about this palette is that you can actually do suttle and sultry looks, the color selection for this palette makes this possible. When I recieved mine at home I did notice very close resemblance between this palette and the Book of Shadows IV, the only reason why I would still recomend this is for it's packaging. The packaging for this palette makes it so easy to take this on the go and it comes with an eye liner and primer potion so you have everything you need to do an amazing eyeshadow look. I love it, one of my new favs.

Beautiful Amazing Palette!
The item that stands out in this palette, besides the amazing color options, is the how-to booklet. I followed a few tips in the booklet to create a beautiful fade from dark & smokey to soft and natural. Not only that, the palette comes with a full-size perversion eyeliner! Amazing eyeliner! Smudgy when you need it to be, then set for the day. I even layered liner with shadow for an out-of-this-world color effect that's just too pretty to describe. The colors all blend together like butter, no harsh edges, easy to work with. The matte colors are just as soft and blendy as the pearls in the palette, I love how it all works together. This is a MUST HAVE item in your makeup collection!

I LOVE THIS PALETTE!
This palette is soo awesome!! it is NOT like the black palette at all, like I heard other ppl saying.The black palette is BLACK. & A smokey eye does not have to be white, black & grey colors. it is 2012 ppl ;)...those colors just get BORING. but Ive been playing around with this palette and there is not 1 thing I dont like about it! except I wasnt that crazy about the "look book". It did give some really good ideas but the look i tried was kinda over done when I actually followed the directions.(maybe its just me) I like doin my own thing! but all I care about is the palette and its SOO amazing! UD always does a great job :)

Wrong colors for smokey eye!
The new formula for the eyeshadow is GREAT, it is better than most of the top department store brands!! I love the new shadows but this palette does not reflect a smokey eye, it should have a different name. A perfect smokey eye palette would be creep, gunmetal, verve, polyester bride, s/m, oil slick, mushroom and zephyr...that would rock! You should create this collection for the holidays with the 24/7 perversion liner and a great eyeshadow brush, I bet $$ it would be a TOP SELLER!! Also could you PLEASE make creep as a single shadow, it is an AWESOME color!!!! LOVE the new formula, the only shadow I will buy and recommend is Urban Decay!

Awesome :)
The colors in this palette are all gorgeous and buttery-soft, with minimal fallout. Previously I was a Naked Palette kind of girl, all my makeup was very neutral and soft, but the guide book has made it soo easy to transition to smoky looks. I especially love the pencil. It's so soft and so black-- I love it.
The only thing I think this palette is missing is mid-tone transition shades, and a shimmery highlight color. It also kind of bothers me that the shadows are not quite full-size (the Naked Palette & 15th anniversary palette were much better values).
Regardless, it's great and I definitely recommend it. :)

Priming your eyes would be a huge help, and then maybe on top of priming, using a shadow base will make everything more vibrant. Also, using a precise brush could help a little bit. But mostly I would seriously consider Urban's Primer Potion because it keeps everything in place for a long long time.Age: 18-24
