Well it is not supposed to cover you up like a foundation. If you need a tinted moisturizer than this is your product! Pros: It makes your skin feel soft and moisturized. I still used my regular moisturizer, but even without it my skin felt great after usage. It also has SPF to help protect your skin. I used HALO and there was still enough color to the product to make my skin look even. Cons: If you have a major blemish you will need concealer to cover that up, because this product is sheer. Overall I would recommend this product if you need something simple. January 31, 2012I won't leave the house without this on. I have always had an issue trying to find the right foundation or tinted moisturizer for my face because it's very sensitive, but when I first tried this on I knew it was the product for me. It's actually really moisturizing, easy to put on, and has wonderful coverage for only being a tint moisturizer. I have used this in PHOTO SHOOTS even and the make up artist herself was astounded by my skin, she thought I had amazing porcelain skin and didn't even have to add more make up! January 31, 2012My perfect foundation There are no words to describe how much i am in love with this product. I have been searching for the perfect foundation for such a long time, spending tons and tons of money just to try and find my perfect match, and now I've FINALLY found it. This foundation feels like you have no make up on, looks like you have no make up on, but it does a great job at covering up and troublesome areas on your face. It does a great job at covering up my red spots and another great perk of this is that it has SPF in it so it can protect your face from the harmful rays of the sun. I hate tinted moisturizer! The concept alone annoys me so much I made it its own math equation (I hate math, too): foundation +moisturizer -pigment & coverage -effective hydration =useless Also, even though colors are designed to work on a range of skin tones, they invariably (pun not intended) never seem to be my shade. HOWEVER, for the first time in my entire life, I have discovered a tinted moisturizer that gives me good color, good coverage, lasting hydration and can actually be used without concealer or finishing powder (or primer or moisturizer underneath to make it actually moisturizing) the way I've heard tinted moisturizers are supposed to work. The higher SPF is also great for those of us who burn indoors with the curtains drawn! August 7, 2011Wonderful I recently purchased this product on a whim after bumming around my local Ulta. I'm so pleased I did. The color, though ever so slightly too dark (I purchased the shade "Bodyguard"), gives my skin a beautiful and natural glow. It goes on seamlessly and stays put throughout the day. The coverage is somewhere between your run-of-the-mill tinted moisturizer and a light-to-medium foundation. My only complaint is that I'd like to see a larger selection of shades (wouldn't we all?). For reference, I have combination to oily skin with cool (pink) undertones. I'm somewhere between fair and medium toned, leaning slightly more towards medium. February 29, 2012Dewy Indeed I have been using this tinted moisturizer for almost two weeks now and I am very happy. I live in the desert and the problem I have with sunscreens that I apply to my face is the irritation that occurs after an hour of wearing it. Urban Defense not only provides me with the sun protection that I need with out the irritation, but the tint gives me the appearance of an even complexion. The dewiness is real. I love the dewy look on my skin. My skin feels bare and breathable. You'll love how light weight this formula is on your skin. A little goes a long way! You just have to work it in and you're covered for the day. August 5, 2011Light feel, doesn't collect in fine lines, good sun protection I love this tinted moisturizer, especially in the summer when my skin is a little sun-kissed and Bodyguard is a good match. I do wish there were more color choices. Halo is a bit light for me, Bodyguard a bit dark in the winter. I have never had trouble with this hurting my eyes, it is one of the few brands that doesn't! It is the perfect amount of coverage for a natural look and I love that it has such a light feel and disappears into my skin without leaving any product to collect in fine lines and creases. April 16, 2012This product is great for everyday use This is the first time I use tinted moisturizer. I love how the color looks on my skin, I have olive skin tone and urban defense helps to brighten my complexion:) the coverage is light, so if you need high coverage this product is not suitable for you. I like how it feels on my skin, feels like nothing:) however the one thing that I don't really like about this product, is that it doesn't glide on easily on my skin, the ease of application is not really to my liking (unless I squeeze out more). A:Since a tinted moisturizer its not amazing for oily skin just because it's made to moisturize skin and its going to give VERY light coverage so try something else I LOVEEE naked skin foundation it's amazing!
