Not for my skin tone
The description for the product stated it to be subtle enough for any skin tone, but I have a more tan/olive tone and the one I chose, Moonshine, presents itself rather pinkish for my shade. It does not give me the appearance of having had a full night's sleep.
It goes on smoothly and does give a glow, but did not offer the effects for which I was hoping. Perhaps because I do not use foundation, so it could not blend in properly . . . it just very noticeably sat on my skin.
This is not a cut on the product, I believe, it is just a case of my mistake in choosing a shade. Perhaps the Brown Sugar would have better served my needs, since it appears to be closer to my natural skin tone.
Yes, I am disappointed, but it's okay. One makes mistakes to learn valuable lessons.

Beautiful!
What I really like about this product is how easy it is to apply. It looks amazing- i got this one in moonshine and it looks almost white at first glance but when you have a second look it has a pearl like affect. Looks amazing!

not bad for a first try!
Having freckly, normal skin, i like a more subtle, natural look for my face. I've been searching for a decent highlighter, one that came off as natural but could be built up, for night time, or days when i want to glow a little more! I bought this in Moonshine (white/translucent iridescent) and Wicked (pinky shimmer), and LOVE both.
Moonshine imparts a colourless sheen that subtly picks up light and looks very glowy. Wicked does a similar job, but with a slight rosy tint and just the right amount of sparkle. I love glitter as much as the next girl...but being an adult I can't exactly wear it all over my face. Wicked definitely hit the right balance!
My one issue - and it's not much of one for me, but I can see it being a probably for people of other skin types - is that Urbanglow comes off a tad greasy. If you have oily skin, I'm not sure I'd recommend it, unless you have a good translucent powder to set it with..hopefully, one that wouldn't mask the sheen, therefore defeating the purpose..
On the whole, it's a fine product - the application is easy, the finish is exactly what I hoped for, and it lasts all day. I'm so glad it was on sale, and I was able to try two shades...I hope it's still on sale by the time I run out, because I am stuck on this stuff!

The Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC) consists of seven national animal protection groups banded together to help make shopping for animal-friendly cosmetics easier and more trustworthy. If a customer sees the internationally recognized "leaping bunny" logo on a cosmetic or a website, they know that the company has committed to The Corporate Standard of Compassion for Animals, a voluntary pledge that companies make not to test on animals during any stage of product development. The company's ingredient suppliers make the same pledge and the result is a cosmetic guaranteed to be 100% free of animal testing. Urban Decay has made this commitment. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than one million members and supporters, is dedicated to establishing and protecting the rights of all animals. Companies that have joined PETA’s Caring Consumer Project have pledged—in writing—that they and their suppliers do not conduct or commission animal tests on ingredients, formulations, or finished products, and that they will not do so in the future. Urban Decay displays PETA’s cruelty-free bunny logo to assure our customers that we do not use or condone animal tests. We believe that you can have a killer look without killing or harming animals. If you see Marley’s purple paw print next to a cosmetic, Urban Decay certifies that it is a vegan cosmetic, and does not contain any animal-derived ingredients. Although we are a cruelty-free company, and not a vegan company, we love vegans and want to make your shopping experience as pleasurable and informative as possible! Our first step in making UrbanDecay.com vegan-friendly was to identify these cosmetics and make it easy to shop. Currently, we are working with our laboratories to find out which of our non-vegan cosmetics can be converted. In many situations, there is a plant-derived or synthetic alternative to an animal-derived ingredient. For cosmetics where we do not feel our quality will be compromised, and we can deliver the same rich color and texture you desire, we will convert the cosmetic to 100% vegan ingredients. Be on the lookout for new additions to our vegan cosmetics, and thank you for supporting Urban Decay!
